The Avengers were in a wintery forest, fighting off soldiers as they approach the building they wanted.
"Shit!" Tony curses over the ear coms after Iron Man rams into a barrier and easily bounces off.
"Language!" Steve calls back over the coms. "JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?" His military motorcycle runs down a path.
"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield." JARVIS answered. "Strucker's technology is well beyond any other HYDRA base we've taken."
"Loki's scepter must be here." Thor said as he took out soldiers with his hammer. "Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it. At long last."
"'At long last' is lasting a little long, guys!" Natasha calls over the coms.
"Yeah, I think we lost the element of surprise." Clint said as he currently hid behind a tree and peering around it.
"Wait a second. No one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said 'language'?" Tony asked snakily over the coms.
"I know." Steve said before he flipped his bike over his head and it sailed into a tank, knocking it off course. "It just slipped out." He sighs in defeat.
"Sir, the city is being attacked." JARVIS warns Tony.
"Well, we know Strucker's not going to worry about civilian casualties." Tony said. "Send in the Iron Legion." He orders, autonomous iron man into the city.
Clint sends out an arrow and is quick to hide behind the tree, but when no blast came he frowns does sends out another arrow and hid back behind the tree again, but when that blast didn't happen Clint frowns and turns, when he turns a dizzy blur is seen knocking into Clint and he's suddenly hit.
"Agh!" He cries as he falls to the snowy ground.
"Clint!" Natasha rushes over to him. "Clint's hit!" She calls over the coms. "Somebody want to deal that bunker?" She asks as she tries to work on Clint's wound, a loud and angry roar is heard and the Hulk leaps at the bunker, destroying it.
The same blur hit Steve, propelling him in the air but he easily landed back on his feet. "We have an enhanced in the field." He looks around. "Stark, we need to get inside!"
"I'm closing in. JARVIS, am I … closing in? Do you see a power source for that shield?"
"There's a particle wave below the north tower."
"Great, I want to poke it with something." Tony smirks, blasting the tower to kingdom come. As he does Steve and Sailor Pluto finally find each other, he hugs her.
"Are you alright?" Steve asks in concern.
"I'm ok." She nods. "Are you?"
"Yeah." He nods, as Thor lands next to them.
"The enhanced?" He asks as the couple pull away from their hug.
"Yes. We must be careful." Pluto said gravely.
"Clint's hurt pretty bad guys." Natasha said in the coms. "We're gonna need to evac."
"I can get the Barton to the jet. The sooner we're gone the better." Thor said. "You two and Stark secure the scepter."
"Right." Pluto nods.
"Copy that." Steve agrees, he looks around.
"Looks like they're lining up." Thor smiled as he started to twirl his hammer.
"Well, they're excited." Steve shrugs before moving his shield.
"Dead Scream!" Pluto calls, sending out an attack at the whole group of soldiers and the tank. Both Steve and Thor give her comic looks of surprise.
Thor turns to Steve. "Captain, have I mentioned I love having her on missions?"
Steve smiles. "A few times, yes."
Thor's smile then faded. "Find the scepter." He flew off into the sky.
"And for gosh sakes, watch your language!" Tony mocks over the coms.
Steve hangs his head and places his hands on his hips with as a sigh escapes him. "That's not going away anytime soon."
Pluto smiles. "It'll be ok love." She kisses his cheek before heading to the building and Steve follows.
"Chronos Typhoon!" Pluto calls, her attack slams into the door breaking it open. "Nothing like the direct approach." She smiles turning to Steve.
"Let's find Strucker." He nods as they enter, he kicks a man away from them.
"Then dinner, fighting evil makes me pretty hungry." Pluto replied.
"Pizza and movie in?" Steve asks with a smile.
"And something extra?" Pluto smiles, turning to him as he blushes lightly with a big goofy smile.
"Making date plans you two?" Natasha teases over the coms causing Steve's blush to grew.
"Can't you two do that at a later time?" Tony added as he flew into the base.
"You're just jealous Stark." Steve said, he leaned to Pluto and kissed her passionately.
"Me? Captain, I'm offended." Tony huffed. "Guys, stop, we gotta talk this through." He added as the soldiers fire bullets at him, he blasts them all to the floor. "It was a good talk." He says smugly.
"No it was't." A solider said in pain.
Captain America and Sailor Pluto continued down a hallway, a solider attacks but Pluto spin kicks him sending him flying backwards and to the floor.
"Whoa, nice." Steve smiled.
"I've been studying Lita's and Amara's fighting moves." Pluto smiles. "They were the experts at fighting."
"We're locked down out here!" Natasha called over the coms as the two moved down the halls.
"Then get to Banner, time for a lullaby." Steve said over the coms, checking out Pluto as she took down more soldiers.
The couple move on, finding a flight of stairs. Climbing up them they find Strucker trying to escape. "Baron Strucker. HYDRA's number 1 thug." Steve said.
"Technically, I'm a thug for SHIELD." Strucker tried to correct.
Pluto moves her Garnet Rod, aiming it at him. "How dare you play that card." She threatened, and the thug gulps as the orb on her Rod shimmers. She moves her Rod back to her side.
"Don't worry, I know when I'm beaten. You'll mention how I cooperated, I hope." He tried to negotiate.
"I'll put it right under illegal human experimentation." Steve responds coldly. Pluto suddenly looks around, her free hand shoots to grab Steve's arm and pulls him back as she quickly raises her Garnet Rod.
"Garnet Ball!" She calls, creating a shield around her and Steve just as a girl sneaks up behind them, the girl tries to get to Steve but Pluto sends a blast at her, sending her flying back and back where she came from with the door slamming closed with the woman's powers.
"Nice save darling." Steve smiled. "We have a second enhanced. Female. Do not engage." He orders through the coms. Pluto lowers her shield and Steve approaches Strucker, kicking his shield into the man, sending him into a wall and easily knocking him out. "Guys, I got Strucker." He informs over the coms and looking at Pluto.
"Yeah, I got something bigger." Tony's voice came over the coms.
"Well, whatever it is, grab it." Pluto said, she turns to Steve. "Can we go home now?"

Back on the Quinjet, Trista places an ice pack on Clint's wound.
"Thanks." Clint grunted as the ice inside the pack started to instantly numb his side. "Think Hotaru will be able to heal me?"
"After she's over her shock." Trista nods. "She will."
Natasha moves over to Banner. "Hey, the lullaby worked better then ever." She smiled at him as he took off his earbuds.
"Just wasn't expecting the Code Green." He sighed in dread and defeat.
"If you hadn't been there, there wouldn't been double casualties. My best friend would've been a treasured memory." Natasha added.
"You know, sometimes exactly what I want to hear isn't exactly what I want to hear."
"How long before you trust me?"
"It's not you I don't trust."
"Thor, report on the Hulk?" Natasha called to him as he spoke to Trista.
"The gates of Hell are filled with the screams of his victims." Thor answered, making Banner sigh in defeat, Trista back handed his arm making the God clear his throat. "Uh, but, not the screams of the dead, of course. No, no, uh … wounded screams, mainly whimpering, a great deal of."-
"Thor." Trista interrupts.
"Yes Princess?"
"Please stop." She looks at him.
"Yes ma'am, good idea." Thor quickly agrees.
"Hey Banner, Dr. Cho's on her way in from Seoul, is it ok if she sets up in your lab?" Tony calls from over his shoulder from the driver seat.
"Uh, yeah, she knows her way around."
Tony nods. "JARVIS, tell her to prep everything, Barton's gonna need the full treatment."
"Very good sir."
Steve moves over to Trista, who had moved to a corner of the jet. "Any word on Michelle?" He asks gently.
"No." She shook her head. After Michelle disappeared, Steve offered for Trista to move in with him since they've been dating for a long while now.
"Has she disappeared before?"
Trista shook her head. "No."
Steve wraps his arm around her shoulders. "We'll find her." He kisses her cheek.

Soon the Quinjet landed, and Dr. Cho rushed Clint off the jet, mostly to show off her machine and gloat. And of course a panicked Hotaru rushed to aid Cho.
"What's the word on Strucker?" Trista asks curiously as she, Steve and Maria Hill walked down a hall together, Steve reading the file in his hand.
"NATO's got him." Hill answered.
"The two enhanced?" Steve inquires.
"Wanda and Pietro Maximoff." Maria hands him the tablet. "Twins. Orphans at 10 when a shell collapsed their apartment building. Sokovia had a rough history. It's nowhere special but it's on the way to everywhere special." She said as they approach the elevator.
"Their abilities?" Steve asks, giving the tablet back to Maria.
"He's got increased metabolism and improved thermal homeostasis. Her thing is neural electric interfacing, mental manipulation." Maria answered, making Steve look at her with a complete lost and confused look. "He's fast and she's weird."
"Oh." Steve blinks, hitting the elevator button.
"File says they volunteered for Strucker's experiments." Maria added.
"Right." Steve said as the elevator door slides open and he and Trista steps inside. "What kind of monster would let a German scientist experiment on them to protect their country?" He asks sarcastically.
"We're not at war, Captain." Maria said.
"They are." Steve said just before the doors slide closed.

At Tony's party, the huge gathering is held at Stark Tower. Hotaru as Clint kept her arm around her shoulders as they talked with Tony, Thor and Rhodey - until Tony and Thor started to brag about their respective girlfriends, so Clint pulls his daughter away.
Trista found Steve and Sam on the second landing, she walks over to them. "Hi Sam." She greeted warmly. "Hope this old man isn't boring you." She teases while poking Steve in the side.
Sam laughed at the look on Steve's face. "No."
"Aaand." Trista started with a smile, grabbing Steve's arm and looking at the Falcon. "Did I see you and Maria Hill come to the party arm-in-arm like a date date?" She asked and smiled as a blush colored Sam's face as Steve's eyes grew.
"Really?" Steve asked. "You and Maria Hill?" He smiled.
"I hear my name Captain?" Maria Hill asked as she approaches.
"Nothing." Trista giggled watching as Sam pulled on the collar of his shirt to clear his throat. "Come Steve." She pulls Steve's arm, guiding him away from the two.
"Have we been maid?" Maria asks, looking at Sam who readjusted the collar of his shirt and he cleared his throat.
"Yeah."

Soon the party was just the Avengers, minus Maria Hill, as they now lounged around the living room. Hotaru laid on one of the couches asleep, Clint next to her, she maybe a teen but it is late.
"But it's a trick." Clint said merrily as he gestured to Thor's hammer on the table.
"Oh no. It's much more than that." Thor defended as he chuckled.
"Uh, 'whosever be worthy shall have the power'. Whatever man." Clint said, as he adjusted the throw blanket over Hotaru. "It's a trick."
"Well please, be my guest." Thor gestured to Mjounar sitting on the table.
"Come on." Tony laughed, not believing the God Of Thunder.
"By all means Stark." Thor points at Mjounar.
"Never one to shrink from an honest challenge." Tony said brightly, grabbing the handle of the hammer and began pulling, trying to lift it. "It's physics."
"I have a physics master degree, Stark." Trista said as she snuggled into Steve's chest, his arm around her.
"Right, so, if I lift it, I get to rule Asgard?" Tony asks, trying to lift Mijounar and groaning in strain.
"Yes, of course." Thor smiles.
Tony tried harder to lift the hammer. "I'll be right back." He held up a finger before quickly leaving.
"What's he up too this time?" Trista asked curiously.
"Knowing Tony, it could be anything." Rhodey answered with a sigh. Tony comes back wearing an Iron Man glove, he tries to lift the hammer again.
When Tony couldn't lift it he got Rhodey to use his War Machine arm, so together they tried to lift it.
"Are you even pulling?"
"Are you even on my team?"
"Just represent! Pull!" Rhodey demanded and the two tried to lift the hammer. Soon they gave up, and it was Steve's turn.
"Come on Cap." Clint cheered.
Steve grunts as he tries to lift the hammer, a look of concern quickly appears on Thor's face as he witnesses his hammer moves the slightest bit. But Steve still couldn't, and Thor laughed out of relief.
"Widow?" Banner turns to her.
"Oh no, no. That's not a question I need answering." Natasha shook her head. "Trista?"
"I'm already a Princess." Trista answered, her arms around Steve's waist, her head on his chest as she's snuggled looking very comfortable.
"It's rigged." Tony decides, referring to Thor's hammer.
"You bet your ass." Clint laughed.
"The handle's imprinted, right? Like a security code. 'Whosever is carrying Thor's fingerprint' is, I think, the literal translation?" Tony tried the scientific.
"Yes, well that's, uh, that's a very, very interesting theory. I have a simpler one." Thor smiles as he stands up. He picks up his hammer and flips it in the air like it was a baseball. "You're all not worthy." He smirks, earning yells of disagreements.
Suddenly a high pitched noise broke out through the room, everyone covered their ears in pain and Hotaru bolts up awake, falling off the couch and quickly covers her ears. When the noise faded everyone looked at each other.
"What was that?" Trista asked as they all searched for the source.
"I, I, I think." Hotaru stuttered as she was the first to spot the source. "It came from that." She points, everyone turns to see a robot resembling a young version of Iron Legion.
"Worthy?" The creature started, Hotaru panicked and quickly backed up, bumping into Thor, the Prince held out an arm in front of the teen protectively. "No, how could you be worthy? You're all killers." The robot spoke in a deep voice.
"Stark!" Steve called moving in front of Trista protectively, in return she grabs a fist of his shirt, out of fright.
"JARVIS!" Tony called for his AI with alarm.
"I'm sorry, I was asleep, or was it a dream?" The robot asked with confusion.
"Reboot, legionnaire OS, we got a buggy suit." Tony called as he tapped a device in his hand, while Hotaru clung to Thor's arm as he kept her behind him protectively.
"There was a terrible noise, and I was tangled in … in … strings. I had to kill the other guy. He was a good guy." The robot continued to ramble as his auto cut in and out at parts.
"You killed someone?" Steve asked stoically with a hard edge in his voice as Trista's hand kept a fist hold of his shirt.
"Who did you kill?" Hotaru asked, still hiding behind Thor, her head poking around his arm.
"Wouldn't have been my first call. But, down in the real world we're faced with ugly choices." The robot states.
"Who sent you?" Thor demanded as he shifted into defensive mode.
"I see a suit of armor around the world." Tony's voice came through the robot's speakers. Tony paled as realization hit him like a ton of bricks.
"Ultron!" Banner gasped in horror.
