Bucky leaned his back against the car he and Michelle drove, his hands stuffed in the pockets of his jacket he watched as both Steve and Michelle approach. "I understand why you're uncomfortable, Buck." Steve starts, his arms hung at his sides.
"I can't face you, or others." Bucky said. "I don't trust myself. How can I keep you and others safe?"
"But."- Steve starts.
"The trigger words are still there." Michelle told him. "He's terrified that he'll or kill his best friend and others." She explained, as Steve looks at her, he turns back to Bucky.
"You're safe here Buck." The blonde promises. "I promise. The only thing you have to kill is robots."
"What about those twins?" Michelle asks. "You said they're helping Ultron on their own."
"Yes, they're just lost and confused kids."
Michelle looked down when she felt something brush against her ankle. A black cat purred. "Hello." She greeted softly, bending down to pick up the cat and hold the creature, who purred loudly. "You look like Luna." She smiled at the cat petting it.
Bucky watched her fondly, and Steve nudges him gently making the brunette turn to him.
"You still like the ladies." The blonde smiles. "Which means that maybe the old Bucky is still alive."
Bucky presses his lips together. "Is he?" He asks gently. "After 70 what years?" He asks. "I don't know."
"You know." Michelle starts, her soft voice had both men jump startled and turn to her. "Back in the Moon Kingdom, there was a dark future where Serena's daughter was controlled by evil."
"How?" Bucky asked.
"Was she saved?" Steve asked.
Michelle gently lowered the cat down, then straightened up. "There was an evil sorcerer called Wiseman. The Sailor Scouts from the past came into the Time Space, that was their first time meeting Sailor Pluto. They wanted to turn back time." She explained, leaning against the car.
"Turn back time?" Steve asked. "I didn't know Trista could do that."
"I told you before Steve, Trista has the power of to change any type of time. She can easy turn both of you into the elderly old men that you should be right now. She can change anybody back into an infant."
"That's disturbing." Bucky admits.
"During that future, Rini, Serena's daughter, had drastically changed once Wiseman had her in his clutches. She was dark, cold and scary."
"How'd you save her." Steve asked.
"In the middle of a heated, chaos and confusing battle. Pluto was forced to stop time to save me and Amara. Rini was devastated beyond belief, and she used the Legendary Silver Crystal to heal herself."
Steve's shoulders are slacked, expression crestfallen. His hands stuffed in the front pockets of his jeans. "She said, stopping time itself is forbidden." He said sadly, Bucky placed his human hand on his shoulder.
"That was one future, Stevie." Michelle told him. "She was alive after it was changed."
"Wow, first Peggy." Bucky elbows his best friend. "Now a Time Keeper." He folds his arms turning to fully face him. "That's our life now?" He asks.
"You're still the number 1 champ in that department." Steve assured him.
"Interesting." Michelle's voice had both men turn to fully face her again. "A past and present Steve?" The teal haired woman questioned lightly. "You had a past love Steve?"
Bucky couldn't help the scuff. "Scrawny Steve couldn't get a girl to talk to him, or have a conversation, or be in the same room or breathing room."
"Thank you Buck." Steve gives him a look. "Don't need help."
"But once he was used as a guinea pig for the Super Soldier." Bucky continued like he didn't Steve. "It was like I all of a sudden changed into him." He points with a metal thumb at the blonde.
Steve rolls his eyes. "Thanks Buck, glad to know those memories are now back." He said sarcastically.
Michelle pulls out her mirror and walks up to Steve. "Captain, hold still." She said firmly, placing her mirror in front of him. Her blue eyes grow as she gasps.
Bucky frowns. "Michelle?" He asks in concern. "What'd you see?"
"That's why you haven't asked Trista." Michelle accused, staring at Steve.
"I can explain." Was the quick reply, then pause. "I think."
Bucky gave Steve a funny look.
"Then explain away Captain." Michelle puts her mirror away. "No, never mind. I don't want to hear it."
"But."-
"Captain." Michelle folds her arms.
Steve turns to Bucky. "Now I feel like that scrawny guy all over again."
"Captain!" At Michelle's tone, both men jump.
"Yes ma'am?"
"Has Trista mentioned Darien to you?"
Steve frowns in thought. "No." He shook his head.
"Who's that?" Bucky asked.
"Years before we met, Trista use to be in love with Darien, but she never received his love in return."
Bucky winced. "Ouch."
Steve just stared. "What?"
"And she loved him. But because she's in charge of the Time Space. So she was forced to watch him marry someone else."
Steve just stared.
Bucky again winced. "Double ouch and more salt on the wound." He turns to Steve, "Punk, say something." He nudges Steve in the arm with his flesh elbow.
Steve shook his head. "I don't know what to say." Bucky gives him a look. "I don't."
"I suggest, Captain Rogers." Nick Fury starts and all three turn to him as he approaches. "That you go forward in time." He stopped next to Michelle, his hands behind his back.
Bucky looks at him. "I - I'm sorry I tried to kill you." He apologizes. "I was not in my right mind." He stuttered with an apologetic tone and face. "It wasn't personal."
"It felt personal. You turned my ride into a hunk of junk." Fury told him. "Just promise me you won't try to kill me again."
Bucky bobbed his head rapidly. "I promise."
"And Captain." Fury turns to Steve. "We need your head in the A Game, so do your team a favor and pull your head out of the shadows!" With that he turns to head towards the barn.
Bucky watches him. "He's a bag of sunshine."
Steve turns to see Michelle, who was moving. "Michelle." He reaches for her hand, but she pulls her hand away as she turns to him.
"Clint told me the Maximoff girl played with your mind. I had no idea it was this bad." She backs away from him. "Now you two old farts be good soldiers. Stay and chat, and I'll be right back."
Bucky watches her head towards the house. "Ok. What." He turns to look at Steve. "What the hell is going on?"
Sighing, Steve ran his hands through his hair as he moved and sank down on a stump. "When we went after Ultron, he had the Maximoff twins with him. Wanda used her magic on all of us, knocking us all down by putting visions in our heads."
"What was yours?"
Steve placed his arms on his knees and laced his fingers together as he hung his head.
"Steve! Where's your head?"
"I'll tell you exactly where his head is." Hotaru's voice had the two turn to see the teen walk up to them with Michelle. "Steve's trapped in a fog between his past." The teen walks up to stand in front of Steve. "And his future."
Bucky frowns. "What?"
Hotaru pulls out her transformation pen, then transformed into Sailor Saturn. "Captain. Who do you want more?" She moves to stand next to him and held her hands, her hands glowed. "The girl from the past? Or the girl from the future?"
Steve closed his eyes.
"How do you feel, Steve?" Saturn asked as she moved her hands.
"Like the time Thor slammed his hammer into me."
"Captain, be serious!" Hotaru scolds as she moves her hands around.
"I am."
The teen rolled her eyes and sighed. "Ok, Stevie, this part might hurt like ripping off a bandaid." She warns.
"Do I - agh!" Steve started to ask, before he yells, grabbing his head in pain.

Steve was back in his vision of the 1940's, dressed in his military uniform. The gym was empty.
"So." Sailor Saturn's voice had Steve jump startled and he spun around to face her. "This is what a 1940's dance room looks like." She turns to fully face him and find him looking at her. "You need to make a choice Steve."
"But I." Steve trailed off.
"I know this is your time." Saturn said. "It's also Sargent Barns' home." She moves around. "Your best friend died in this time." She turns to face Steve. "Do really want to live with a 'what if' world with no girl at your side?"
"I just." He trailed off.
"Choose a door Cap." Saturn said.
"We can go home Steve." Peggy suddenly appeared, Steve jumped backwards startled.
"Daddy, where are you?!" A child's voice rang out. Steve does a 180 as he spins around to only find an empty hallway, but the child's voice is clear. "Daddy!"
Soon both sides started to blur and swirl.
"Daddy!"
"Steve!"
Both child's voice and Peggy's voice rang out at the same time as the room blurred around Steve and suddenly the blur was done and two doors stood side-by-side and facing him, both the same. Then both doors opened.
Steve's eyes widened. Behind one door is Trista chained and strapped to an Iron Legion. Peggy stood behind the other door in her own military uniform.
Steve closed his eyes. "I can't choose!" He grabs his head.
"Open your heart Captain." Saturn said gently. "Who do you hold in your heart of hearts?"
Suddenly a flash like a lightbulb flashed.
"Steve!" A woman's voice. Steve runs up and leaps towards the voice.

Knocked out of his flashback, Steve laid on his back and staring up at the blue sky in a daze, he turns to his left to see Bucky knelt down and supporting Hotaru, who looked dazed.
"Steve." Michelle is knelt next to him. "Are you ok?" She asks.
"Yeah."
"That Maximoff girl hit you hard with your vision." Michelle observed.
"How do you feel Steve?" Bucky asked.
"Dizzy, like the time when you made me ride the Cyclone on Coney Island." Steve answered as he pushed himself to sit up, when he did a small red velvet box fell out of his pocket and a beautiful ring fell out. Steve grabs the box and ring as he pushes himself to stand.
"What's that?" Bucky asks, trying to see what Steve is holding.
Steve stares down at it, before he gently and carefully places the ring back in its place inside the box. "Trista." He breaths,
"Huh?" Michelle and Hotaru look at each other.
Steve shows off the ring, and it glitters brightly in the warm sunshine. "Trista."
All three of his friends stood staring at him, before Hotaru and Michelle loudly squealed in delight, making Bucky jump as the girls ran and tackled Steve.
Across the yard, Fury stood watching. Tony walked up to him.
"What's up with Cap?" The billionaire asks, seeing Steve had been dog tackled.
"He finally chose."
