"You excited about school mate, as you've been quiet while we've been eating." Rocke heard his big brother, John ask. It was the next night and his first night of school only Rocke was anxious just not wanting to say anything so shrugged his shoulders in reply to his brother's question finishing breakfast getting his backpack which had his lunch in it for lunchtime as last night, Juilet had shown him where his new school was so was leaving after hugging their mom and transforming into his bat form flying off only John noticed their mom was quiet.
"I'm fine just worried about your brother. He's not a typical vamp so the other kids might be mean to him." Juilet confided in him making him realise that was something to worry about as his lil brother was very charming and sweet, so got that. "He'll be okay plus we'll help him alomg with Aunt Piper and Kimi if he has a bad first night mom." John told her.
She knew this was true, taking a deep-breath deciding to go for a flight making John realise she was going to Piper and not check on Rocke which he hoped she wouldn't do as he flew off to find his friends.
Meanwhile at Xavier's, Rocke was sitting at a table in the lunchroom by himself not just because he was shy, but some of the vampire kids in his class had been mean to him making fun of how he talked, because he loved the Beatles which had hurt his feelings but trying not to let them see unaware RJ saw what was going on, feeling bad for him along with Chance knowing Rocke was always anxious even before he was a vamp deciding to help stunning the other kids asking why he was helping the new kid.
"I've had others pick on me before and it didn't feel good, and it's his first night." RJ pointed out surprising Rocke at his kindness thanking him. "No big deal Rocke but we should get to class." he told him.
Art class, he was making a picture of Pepperland and adding Piper, John and Juilet and his big brother, John humming Yellow Submarine but then, somebody spilled paint over it making him sad sniffling softly which RJ noticed seeing Rocke put his ruined painting in the trash but after school let out, he flew off heading to Kimi's apartment as she'd kept the window open in case Rocke wanted to visit seeing him fly in turning into his normal, furry self bear hugging Kimi's leg.
"Rocke honey, is everything okay, your first night didn't go well huh." Kimi said to him as they sat on the couch letting Rocke cry as he told her everything that happened making her get it going to get something which were his John and Yoko stuffies seeing him astounded hugging them sniffling. "I saved them and all your things including your art." Kimi tokd him hearing him yawning lyingvdown with them in his arms dreaming of Pepperland but a bit later, Juilet flew in relieved Rocke was here as Kini was telling her making Juilet understanding finding him sleeping withbJohn and Yoko kissing his furry head not waking him up but Kimi was wrapping a blanket around him hearingvsnorts and sleep sounds which they found adorable seeing Juilet leaving for now.
