The galaxy was in turmoil, and nowhere was this more evident than in the regions cut off by the Great Rift. The Warp was a seething tempest, vomiting forth untold horrors, and human worlds were beset by nightmares, both real and imagined. Law and order had become quaint notions in sectors where survival was the only rule.
Amidst this maelstrom, the Waaagh Eternal rampaged on, unimpeded and utterly unbothered by the lack of Imperial oversight. To Killkrumpa Weirdblitz, it was just more fun.
Aboard the massive flagship Galaxy Burna, Killkrumpa lounged on his throne, idly scratching a glyph into the armrest with one of his power claws. "Oi, Red! These puny gits are gettin' easier to krump by the day! Can't we find someone tougher?"
Red's holographic form materialized beside him, her expression as inscrutable as ever. "Funny you should mention that, big guy. I've intercepted vox transmissions from a fleet-based chapter of Space Marines. They're calling themselves the Void Lions. Seems they've gathered what's left of their shiny friends to come give us a proper fight."
Killkrumpa's eyes gleamed with excitement. "Space Marines, eh? The ones who think they're all that with their fancy armor and big guns? Now that's more like it!"
Red nodded. "They're holed up in the Valos System, one of the few places in this part of the Imperium that's still holding together—barely. The Warp's a mess, but with my Warp Walkin' tech, we'll get there before they even know what's coming."
Killkrumpa leaped to his feet, nearly headbutting the low-hanging array of sparking wires above him. "WAAAGH! Time to give these Void Kitties a lesson in proper krumpin'!"
In the depths of the Valos System, Chapter Master Gabriel Thorne of the Void Lions stood on the bridge of their flagship, the Emperor's Pride. The ship was a battered but still formidable Battle Barge, scars of countless battles etched into its hull.
"Reports are coming in from all over, sir," said Captain Lucius Marbeck, his augmetic eye whirring softly. "Worlds are falling into anarchy. The Warp storms are making travel near impossible. And now we've got word of an Ork fleet carving a path straight toward us."
Thorne clenched his fist. "We may be cut off from Terra, but we are the Emperor's wrath incarnate. We will not let some green-skinned filth run rampant in our sector."
Chaplain Ezekiel Drakkon stepped forward. "Our Librarians can barely pierce the Warp veil, but they've sensed something… unusual about this Waaagh. It's more organized than any we've encountered."
Marbeck snorted. "Organized Orks? Next, you'll tell me they're writing opera."
Drakkon fixed him with a stern gaze. "Underestimating the enemy is a luxury we cannot afford."
Thorne slammed his fist onto the console. "Enough! Ready all forces. We make our stand here. If we fall, this sector loses its last bastion of hope."
Back on the Galaxy Burna, the Orks were gearing up for the biggest scrap they'd had in a while. The Mobz were assembling with uncharacteristic discipline, the influence of Red's mind control threads keeping them in line.
Killkrumpa strode through the ranks of Boyz, his massive frame casting a shadow over all. "Listen up, ya gits! We've got ourselves a proper fight ahead! These beaky boyz think they can stop us! Let's show 'em why we're the Waaagh Eternal!"
The Orks roared in unison, the ground trembling beneath their feet.
Red's voice echoed through the comms. "All units, prepare for Warp Walkin'. Coordinates are locked. Remember, stick to the plan."
Killkrumpa grinned, his tusks glinting. "You heard the lady! Let's get stompin'!"
The Waaagh Fleet rips into reality inside the Valos System, and the Void Lions prepare to defend. Too bad for them, Killkrumpa and Red don't play by the rules of standard warfare or reality.
As the Void Lions' fleet held position near Valos Prime, alarms suddenly blared throughout the Emperor's Pride.
"What's happening?" Thorne demanded.
"Massive energy spikes detected! It looks like… Warp signatures inside our ships and on the planet's surface!" a tech-priest stammered.
Before they could react, rifts tore open across the fleet and on the worlds below. Through them poured the disciplined ranks of Ork Mobz, led by hulking Meganobz and Supanobz.
"How in the Emperor's name did they breach our Gellar Fields?" Marbeck shouted, drawing his power sword.
Drakkon brandished his crozius. "The Orks have found a way to manipulate the Warp itself. Prepare for close combat!"
On the bridge of the Emperor's Pride, the air shimmered as a massive Warp Portal opened. Killkrumpa stepped through, his four power claws crackling with green energy.
"Oi! Which one of you's the head git around here?" he bellowed, his eyes scanning the stunned crew.
Thorne stepped forward, meeting his gaze without flinching. "I am Chapter Master Gabriel Thorne. And you, xeno, will pay for your intrusion."
Killkrumpa grinned broadly. "Finally! A 'umie with some backbone! Let's see what you got!"
They charged at each other, weapons clashing with a force that shook the entire ship. Sparks flew as power claw met power sword, each strike a test of strength and will.
Meanwhile, Red was busy infiltrating the ship's systems. Her digital tendrils snaked through firewalls, subduing the machine spirit.
"Such stubbornness," she mused. "But you'll serve us now."
With a surge of code, she enslaved the machine spirit, bringing the Emperor's Pride under her control.
"All ship functions are now responding to me," she reported. "Transferring control to our network."
Across the fleet, similar scenes unfolded. Ork forces overran the ships, and Red's influence spread like a virus, subjugating each vessel's machine spirit.
On the lower decks, Captain Marbeck rallied his men. "Hold the line! Do not let the xenos take this ship!"
But the Orks were relentless. Meganob Grimskraga Ironjaw smashed through a bulkhead, laughing maniacally. "Found ya, ya sneaky git!"
Marbeck faced him, power sword at the ready. "You'll find we're not so easily defeated!"
They clashed, but Grimskraga's raw strength began to overpower Marbeck. With a swift blow, he knocked the Captain to the ground.
"Any last words, 'umie?" Grimskraga sneered.
Marbeck spat blood. "The Emperor's justice will find you."
Grimskraga shrugged. "Yeah, good luck with that. He will have to go through the Biggest Boss first." He raised his klaw for the finishing strike.
On Valos Prime, the planet's defenses crumbled under the coordinated assault. Ork Mobz and Goblins flooded the cities while the disciplined ranks of the Waaagh Eternal overwhelmed the defenders.
Colonel Elena Vos shouted orders amidst the chaos. "Fall back to the inner sanctum! We must protect the civilians!"
But as she turned, she found herself face-to-face with Killkrumpa, who had just Warp Walked onto the planet's surface after defeating Thorne.
"Oi! You in charge down here?" he asked, towering over her.
She drew her laspistol, aiming it at his head. "I am. And I won't let you destroy this world!"
He chuckled. "Brave words. Let's see if you can back 'em up."
She fired, but the shots bounced harmlessly off his armored hide. With a swift motion, he swatted the pistol away and snapped her arm in several places.
"Nice try. Now, time to end this."
He lifted her effortlessly, but before he could strike, Red's voice echoed in his ear. "Killkrumpa, we've secured the fleet. No need to waste time here."
He grumbled. "Fine." He tossed Vos aside, leaving her stunned and broken but alive.
Back aboard the Galaxy Burna, Killkrumpa watched as the captured Void Lion ships took formation within his fleet. Their machine spirits now bent to Red's will. They moved in unison with the Ork vessels.
"Looks like we've got ourselves some new rides," Killkrumpa said, clearly pleased.
Red appeared beside him. "Their ships will enhance our capabilities significantly. The machine spirits were resistant, but they couldn't withstand my control."
He laughed heartily. "Good job, Red! With these ships, we'll krump even more 'umies!"
She nodded. "I've set coordinates for the next sector. There are whispers of Chaos warbands and Eldar pirates trying to take advantage of the chaos."
Killkrumpa's eyes lit up. "Chaos gits and pointy ears? This just keeps gettin' better!" But, hey, let's test out some of these new big shootas before we go."
Red's grin widens demonically, "This is why I love you."
The ships of the Waaagh! Eternal open fire, raining devastation down on Valos Prime and every world on their way out of the system. Much to the delight of the millions of Orks onboard. Killkrumpa's laughter shakes the bulkheads.
