Part 17 - Trial pt 2

Judge then said as she looked at Bella, who looked back at her with a soft smile on her lips;

"Ms Swan, would you like to come forward please?" Bella nodded as she rose and stood before the auditor that wrote everything down also took the vows with each person on the stand, and said

"I, Isabella Marie Swan, will tell the truth and only that today. Amen" And with that she sat down, and Nathan had a glare on his face, but Bella ignored his look and even to look at him as she turned to look at the judge, who said

"Ms Swan, is the killer of Charles Swan here today, and where is this person?" Bella nodded then said while pointing at now shocked Nathan's face;

"It is him, as I never will forget his face as he drove off like a coward he is after killing my father in rather cold way, Ma'am."

At the judge nodded as she then said

"What did this man say to you as he was leaving in his car that day?" Bella gulped down some water infront of her, then said

"He said and I quote 'I will rape then kill you if you ever open your mouth to out me for killing Charlie for the job I should have gotten from the old Chief.' And it frankly scared the living stuff out of me, and when I later learned that despite their efforts that my da-daddy had died of his gun-shot injuries at hospital, I gave out a scream so they had to sedate me."

The judge nodded her head as she heard Bella choke up on telling all of this, was still so raw for her, Dan who had been seated behind her, gave her a encouragement nod and smile, to keep going, and the judge then said

"What happened when you woke up from being sedated?"

"First it was the next morning,that I was able to be awake again, and the cops were in the room with the doctor in charge of my care that day. They asked me what had happened, and despite the fear of what Nathanial had said to me, I told them who it had done it, and I could tell that they didn't want to believe me as most of them were close to Nathanial and were on his side. So after I released myself, I first got home to get out of the old clothes and into new ones, then I left to get d-daddy's office, and I called my boyfriend and friend of d-daddy's and told him everything. He and his very kind team dropped everything they had on their agenda's and came straight after that to town. I was finally feeling safe, for Daniel was there for me. Like his teams were also there for me."

The judge nodded then let Bella go back to her seat and Dan was called next, as he was a friend of Charles and was there for Bella of course through it all and still was there for her to this day.

He too gave his own vows to tell the truth, and then he re-told his own side of everything and he too was let go down, and then a recording of Nathanial's confession was being shown, as it was filmed and taped, and on it he said everything, and told them the reason behind his killing the Chief was for he was supposed to have the job, as the old Chief had told him that he was next to get it, and would make sure of it, and when it didn't and the old man chosen Charles Swan, it was both anger and jealous but also disbelief that the old man had chosen someone else for the job.

But also shockingly he told them that he also did it for his cousin, Jacob Black had a seriously sick crush on Charles' only daugther, and he had said what he had said to her when the killing of Charles happened, for he wanted to take something that his cousin would never get to have, which was the said girl's virginty. Which was also something he didn't nor anyone else knew, but Bella was no virgin, hadn't been since before all of this even happened, for Dan and her had sex few times before he left for the job within FBI.

Bella on the other hand was shocked thath he would go so far to hurt his own cousin of something she didn't feel the same for that boy was nothing but sick stalker of hers, and his father was no better of telling his own, only son off on his behaviour, at least her father had and that was why she spent her time with the elder Uley's instead since the day she had told her father on the said boy's sick stalkering of herself.

Dan held his hand onto her shoulder, and it cool her down abit, as she knew she had him on her side, and he loved her more than anything, and he was still to this day honoured to have taken her virginty when he did, and Charlie knew what they had done and had nothing but love for both of them, but also the fact they were protected when having sex, he had no issues with it, and didn't want to know anything more than if he was gentle and kind towards her during it all. Which he had been, and therefore Charlie had no issues of it.

After all of that being said and revealed, he was led back to his seat. Renee was in shock of it all being told and kept staring at Bella's back, as she still believed her daugther was a virgin still to this day. Phil knew about as Bella was open and honest with him, while it shocked him at first for being young when she and Daniel had their first time together, he had been the same as Charlie had been about it, and let it go after hearing that it had been her choice to make, and that Dan was gentle and kind towards her, and made her feel good about it all.

Now the judge after hearing the side of Jubal and few others of his agents on the subject of the murder and what else they had found out through their job of research, the judge let them go for lunch break, and told the jurors to begin their job of either convicting or freeing the said man of said crimes.

Bella and Dan took hands, as he bent over and kissed her gently as everyone saw this, some were shocked of such display, as she reached up and stroked his cheek, and the two separated to follow his team-mates out of the court house, and down the street to a lunch resturant.
