Chapter 6: Day 1 - An Unexpected Surprise

The gang was talking with the well-known Billionaire about his life and everything else.
Kara nodded and replied, "That is really cool. Your family started the buisness many years ago and now you run with your father and mother as well? That is really cool."
He nodded and replied, "It's a dream come true for me and did you know my parents are my adopted parents as well?"
The ladies looked closely at him and he nodded and replied, "I haven't mentioned this at all, but my father Patrick and my mom Jean Anne are my adopted parents. My real parents gave me up whe I was only a year old."
Ashlee sighed and replied, "That's rough and to do so when your only a year old? That is hard to get around."
"I've done okay since then. My parents are the most well known and loved people around Seattle and they've takened good care of me since I was a baby. I have a younger sister Noami and a older brother named Dennis as well and we get along really well."
Bailey nodded and then replied, "That's always good to hear your adopted brother and sisters treat you like if you were born into their family, Christian. Love and family will always prevail. Why did you want to enter this tournament anyway."
He smiled and replied, "I was waiting for that question."
He took a sip of a bottle of Diet Coke he bought and resumed, "Ever since I was old enough to do so, I wanted to enter Duel Monsters to become the best duelst with our fanily and company and I told my parents that I wanted to be a duelist and they supported me and wanted me to become a better and stronger duelist as best as I can. After I graduated College, I become a 15% owner of White Industries and I've loved it ever since. I became the best duelist in our company and I entered the Washington State Tournament held at the home of the Seattle Seahawks and my deck won it all for me as well. I was asked to enter the USA Grand Tournament, but I declined the offer because I wasn't ready to enter such a amazing tournament and I wanted to enter this one instead."
Kara nodded and replied, "A while after I won my tournament, I got a call for the same thing to show a tournament how the champion of Florida how my state duels and I turned it down as well. A State Championship was good enough for me and I'm glad I made that decision."
Maddie sighed and replied, "I wanted to be asked to represent the country, but they never called me to ask me to do so and gave it to a rich snob that won a smaller tournament in Montgomery. my home states capital city. No big deal anymore because I was asked to this tournament instead and I glad I was."
Bailey nodded and replied, "I was asked after I won my state champion as well and I wanted to be a part of this tournamnet I can't wait to show the world How unique it really is."
Christian then replied, "I really hope you all make it to the finals in this wonderful tournament. I want to give you three something."
He went into his pocket and gave the ladies each a red card and he smiled and replied, "For allowing me to spend time with you nice and fine ladies, I'm inviting you all to a special dinner at the Grand Sirloin tomorrow night and I'm paying for it with my own money and not the cash cards they gave us earlier. Dress nice or in your normal clothes and I'll see you tomorrow night."
Bailey smiled and replied, "Thank you so much for this, Christian. We are looking forward to this amazing dinner."
Maddie then replied, "I love steakhouses and this place sounds amazing. Thank you."
"No trouble at all ladies. I'll chat with you all here tonight. I need to make a quick call in my room."
They all smiled back at him as they all got up and they shook his hand and all left and he sighed and replied, "Such nice people they are."
As he continued to finish his drink, a tall black-haired guy with a small notebook was writing something down and he smiled evily and replied, "Your taking three ladies for dinner and you let out that secret the world doesn't even know about yet, either? I can't wait to reveal this when I get out of this tournament and back home."
He got and quickly left without Christian knowing he was there as well.

Back at the HQ of the island, the tournament leaders were watching through duelists and their stats so far.
Maxwell nodded and replied, "The most a duelist has is 5 star chips and no Eliminator duels so far this tournament. This is turning out to be a unique tournament so far."
Skylar nodded and replied, "It really is, Max. How's you son doing?"
He sighed and replied, "He lost his last duel and is down to 3 star chips. He's not giving up and he's not going to stop until he wins more and more."
"I heard the ladies are doing well with each have about 3 to 4 chips as well."
"I saw that as well. 24 have been eliminated as well and they were decent duelists as well. It'll be our 2nd day and everything is going well."
"That is good."
She yawned and then replied, "Night, Maxwell. I'm heading to sleep now. It's been a long day for us."
He smiled as she got up and left and he nodded and replied, "What a day it has been."

That night his penthouse hotel room, Christian was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans and on his laptop and he was checking with his families business.
He nodded and replied, "I have the most amazing family of them all."
He pushed a few buttons and it said DIALING ANNA CHARLASON and he smiled and replied, "Hope your up, boo."
The screen went up and Christian only smiled as he saw who it was. She was a beautiful woman wearing a red night gown with arms covered in sleeves of heart, flower and star tattoos and two red roses tattooed on both sides of her neck and she had the words SEATTLE QUEEN tattooed in big black letters on her chest with small white and red hearts surrounding the words as well and she smiled and replied, "Hey, baby."
Christian smiled and replied, "Hey, Anna. How are things back home?"
"Really well, my dear. The family is doing really good and we can't wait to see you kick some serious butt in this tournament."
"I know, babe. I know. I've only been in a single duel and it was too easy of a win as well. I Can't wait to get back home and see you all again. I love and miss you, babe."
"I love and miss you too, honey. Win or lose, your our hero and champion. I'll let your family know how your doing so far. I now have to get going and meet a friend for a girls night out, so I'll talk to you later."
He nodded and she blew him a kiss and he did the same before the screen went white and it said CALL ENDED and he nodded and closed up his laptop and he nodded and replied, "I'm so glad to be in this tournament and I can hopefully win more duels before this tournamet even ends. I think I'll head out now and meet with the ladies.

It was now 9:30 that morning after they each showered and got their decks and had dinner at their hotels, the ladies met Christian for some coffee at the coffee place of Maddie's hotel. This was the first time that Christian was inside of this hotel and his hotel had no coffee bar and only had a large restaurant and small nightclub as well. He wanted a decent cup of coffee and maybe a quick pastry as well.
He sipped his large Mocha Black and he sighed and replied, "My god, this is so good. Thanks for telling me about this place, Maddie."
She nodded and replied, "Anything for a new friend of ours, Christian."
"i'm glad you all consider me a friend and I'm glad to be friends with you four amazing people as well. I can't wait to see what the days will bring this crazy tournament and for us as well."
"Well, if it ain't the master Christian White.", a voice said behind them and they all turned around and saw a guy wearing a grey suit and a large white hat and mask and
Christian looked puzzled and replied, "Who the heck are you?"
The masked guy laughed and he tore his mask and hat off and there was a bald guy with a small goatee and glasses and he groaned and replied, "Sly Guy, we meet again."
The girls looked puzzled and Christian sighed and replied, "This guy is namedSylvester Kingston or Sly Guy of the Sly Guy Gazette from about 3 miles away from my family's company. He's been wanting to get some bad rumored gossip about me for the last 3 years and has failed as well."
He nodded and resumed, "I already know something about you since you got here, buddy."
Christian looked at him closely and he smiled evily and replied, "I see these ladies are your new friends I see."
"So what, Sly?"
"Your girlfriend Anna would love to hear about this and I know the world doesn't know yet your adopted as well and I'll reveal the world that when I get back home."
Bailey looked at him and replied, "That's really damn low of you, buddy. We're only friends of him and nothing else! You have no right to ruin his life or ours even!"
Maddie nodded and replied, "I have a girlfriend of my own right now and I don't need this kind of crap from anyone and that includes you!"
The reporter smiled and replied, "Whatever you say, ladies. This is between me and Christian and it may ruin your lives, but I want to ruin his even more!"
Christian only sighed as he got up and replied, "You are nothing but slime, Sly. I have something to ask."
He held up his duel disk arm and replied, "We have a duel outside inside the park and if you win, you can send your notebook in and if I win, you rip it up and leave me alone
for the rest of this tournament! I won't let you ruin the good life I have right now, prick. I want to end this before it gets worse!"
He smiled and replied, "I chance to duel you and humilate you in front of a large crowd. I can't say no to that! Your own. Come and get if you dare!"
He laughed and left and he sighed and replied, "I Can't to crush that idiot in front of everyone."
He looked back at the ladies and replied, "I'm sorry you got dragged into his lies as well. I'll make it up to you all soon enough."
Serena sighed and then she nodded and resumed, "Take this loser out and that'll be enough for us, Christian."
He nodded as they finished up their coffee drinks.

A while later, most duelists were watching as the two duelists were waiting to watch the guys duel. No one knew about this, but Maxwell sent a undercover cop and he was in disguise as duelist from 2 rows behind the owner of the coffee ship informed him about what was going and he wanted to make sure this guy wouldn't try to do anything else during the duel. For being that late at night, people wanted to watch Christian White in a duel for themselves."
Sly Guy smiled and replied, "I've been waiting for this day for a long time now. What's the bet?"
"I'm about to tell you. How many star chips do you have right now?"
He held up his half-full gauntlet and resumed, "4 of them earned well and you?"
He raised his hand and there were 3 of them and he nodded and replied, "I'll bet three star chips to shut you and your lies up and if you win this match against me, I'll be eliminated from the tournament."
He laughed and replied, "Your giving me the chance to eliminate you from this tournament? This is getting better and better for me! I accept your final wager!"
He nodded and both duelists activated their duel disks and both drew 5 cards and Kara then replied, "Christian, you got this. Clobber this jerk for trying to humilate you and your family's name."
Christian nodded and he faced his opponent and he resumed, "Ready for this, Sly?"
"Born ready to take you down, White!"
"Game on!", both yelled out.

Sly Guy smiled and replied, "I'll let you go first as well, White."
He sighed and he looked at his hand and resumed, "I'll set a monster and that'll be it for me."
He drew a card and replied, "Lame opener I see. I summon my Two-Headed King Rex!"
He played the card and a large two-headed dinosaur appeared with a deep and powerful roar (ATK: 1,600).
"Smash his facedown monster!"
It let out a huge powerful roar and a Komouri Dragon appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and the roaring soundwave struck it down and it let out a small roar before it shattered to pieces.
"Classic monsters won't save you in this duel, White. I end my turn now.'
He drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Spined Lindworm."
He played the card and a large beautiful dragon of light with a tail with spines in it appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Destroy his dinosaur."
It glowed as a burst of glowing white spines shot out and struck down the huge dinosaur and blew it to little bits (Sly LP: 8000 - 7700).
"Your turn now, old friend."
He drew a card and resumed, "You and I are never friends, wise guy. I'll set a monster and 2 cards facedown and that's all for me."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I'll summon my Hunter Dragon."
He played its card and a small bladed dragon appeared (ATK: 1,700) and she resumed, "I now activate my Sapphire Spark."
The spell appeared.
"Now when a Level 4 or lower Dragon monster I control attacks and destroys a monster in battle, you take 300 more damage."
The stronger dragon launched its glowing spines again and a Trakadon appeared on the card (DEF: 1,000) and the attack struck it down and blew it to minute shards and then more of the attack struck him down (Sly Guy LP: 7700 - 7400) and then Sly groaned and resumed, "I activate my Soul Ressurction."
The trap flipped up and the same dinosaur appeared (DEF: 1,000) and Christian nodded and and pointed as a small burst of blades shot out and struck down his dinosaur and blew it to minute pieces as well (Sly Guy LP: 7400 - 7100).
He drew a card and resumed, "I activate my Unexpected Dai to get out my Sabersaurus and I'll also summon my GIant Rex."
He played the card and the large triceratops appeard (ATK: 1,900) and a larger sized dinosaur appeared (ATK: 2,000) and she opened her field slot and resumed, "I activate my Jurassic World!"
He slid the card into the slot and the ancient jungle formed all over the field as many other people wanted to watch Christian White in a duel as well and then both of his dinosaurs began to glow (ATK: 1,900 - 2,200) - (ATK: 2,000 - 2,300).
"I attack your Hunter Dragon with my Rex!"
It quickly rushed and he smiled and resumed, "I chain that with my Dinostamp!"
The spell appeared and his Sapphire Spark card shattered to pieces (ATK: 1,600 - 1,300) and the dinosaur grabbed the Dragon with its teeth and tore it cleanly in half with the remains dissolving quickly before his Sabersaurus quickly rushed in and rammed into the Lindwurm and smashed it into shards (Christian LP: 8000 - 7100) and he laughed and resumed, I'm taking down the great Christian White and it feels pretty damn good! Your move now, noob."
He sighed and drew a card and resumed, "I'll set a monster and 2 cards facedown and that's all for me."
He drew a card and resumed, "Sabersaurus, attack!"
It quickly rushed in and a a beautiful dragon with two white wings and two black wings with black and white skin appeared on the card (DEF: 2,000) and Christian nodded and resumed, "I activate my Dust Tornado."
The storm began and it flew in and tore through his jungle and returned him back to the streets area (ATK: 2,200 - 1,900) - (ATK: 2,300 - 2,000) as it rammed into and did nothing to the small Dragon (Sly Guy LP: 7100 - 7000).
"Your starting to annoy me. I end my turn now."
He drew a card and resumed, "You have the patience of a 3 year old child, Sly. I summon my Alexnadrite Dragon."
She played the card and resumed, "I now activate my Dragon Soul Serenade."
The Spell Card appeared.
"I can return a Dragon monster to my hand and Special Summon one with the same level from my hand and I'll return Chaos Dracoragon to Special Summon my Rare Metal Dragon."
The dragon faded away as the metal-armored Dragon appeared (ATK: 2,400) and he resumed, "I'll summon my Alexandrite Dragon."
She played the card and the beautiful jeweled dragon appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"I'll now banish my Sapphire Spark with its effect to give all of my Level 4 or lower Dragon monsters 500 attack apiece."
He took the card and then both of her Dragons let out deep growls (ATK: 2,000 - 2,500) - (ATK: 2,400 - 2,900).
"I attack your King Rex with my Alexandrite Dragon and my Rare Metal Dragon will attack your Sabersaurus."
He glowed as a burst of white flames mixed with jeweled shards shot out and struck down his King Rex and blasted it to bits and this metallic dragon growled as a burst of energy shot out and blew his Sabersaurus and into small pixelated fragments that flew around the field (Sly Guy LP: 7000 - 5500) and Maddie smiled and resumed, "Christian's deck is really strong."
"Your turn now."
The power boosts went away (ATK: 2,900 - 2,400) - (ATK: 2,500 - 2,000) Sly Guy drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Rescue Rabbit."
He played the card and the cute rabbit with goggles appeared (ATK: 300).
"I'll banish my small friend for two Little D's."
It burrowed into the ground and the ground filled up as two small and angry dinosaurs appeared (ATK: 1,100).
"I overlay my 2 Level 3 monsters to Xyz Summon my Grenosaurus."
The dinosaurs tuned into white orbs and they flew into the sky as a huge fiery dinosaur appeared with a mighty roar (ATK: 2,000).
"I attack your Rare Metal Dragon and chain it with my Blustering Winds."
The spell appeared and it glowed (ATK: 2,000 - 3,000) as a burst of hot flames shot out and struck down her Rare Metal Dragon and blew it to shards (Christian LP: 7100 - 6500) and he smiled and resumed, "I can now remove a Xyz Material monster to give you 1,000 damage."
He discarded one of dinosaurs as a small burst of flames shot out and struck down hwr (Christian LP: 6500 - 5500).
"Your move now."
He drew a new card and resumed, "I'll seitch my Alexandrite Dragon to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and a card facedown and that's all for me."
He drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Souleating Oviraptor."
He played the card and the dark-skinned raptor appeared (ATK: 1,800) and she resumed, "I'll discard a DInosuar to my graveyard with its effect."
He quickly did so and resumed, "I attack your Alexandrite Dragon."
His Grenosaurus let out a burst of flames and they shot out and struck his Alexandrite Dragon and burned it to ashes and he removed the other material and more flames struck him down (Christian LP: 5500 - 4500).
"Raptor attacks now."
It quickly went in and his Chaos Dracoragon appeared again (DEF: 2,000) and the dinosaur rammed into it and it growled as it retreated (Sly Guy LP: 5500 - 5300).
"I'll find a way to crush you, White! I end my turn now."
He drew a card and resumed, "I'll activate my Spellbook from Inside the Pot."
The spell appeared and both drew 3 cards and then Christian resumed, "I"ll banish a Light and Dark monster to Summon my Lightpulsar Dragon."
He took his Rare Metal Dragon and Alexandrite Dragon and banished them as a beautiful dragon of light appeared (ATK: 2,500) and Bailey saw the newest monster and she smiled and resumed, "Great work so far, Christian!"
He nodded and resumed, "Thanks, girl. I now activate my Immortal Dragon."
The trap appeared and her Rare Metal Dragon appeared with a deep roar (ATK: 2,400).
"Lightpulsar Dragon will take out your Oviraptor and my other one will handle your Oviraptor."
The metal dragon roared as a burst of energy shot out and struck down his Xyz and it roared in pain before erupting in a explosion of flames & soot and then his Lightpulsar Dragon glowed as a burst of fiery balls of light shot out and slammed into his Oviraptor and blew it to little pieces as well (Sly Guy LP: 5300 - 4600).
"Your turn now."
He drew a card and resumed, "I now summon my Armored Lizard."
She played the card and the armored lizard appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"I now activate Ultimate Evolution Pill and I'll send my Reptile away to Special Summon my Super Conductor Tyranno!"
The spell appeared and the huge dinosaur covered in metal and electricity appeared (ATK: 3,300) and Kara sighed and resumed, "This guy is really good with this deck."
"Blast his Rare Metal Dragon!"
The huge dinosaur let out a huge explosion of fiery light shot out and slammed into his Rare Metal Dragon and blew it to pieces (Christian LP: 4500 - 3600).
"My big guy will continue to strike down your dragons, White! I end my turn now."'
He drew a card and resumed, "I'll set a card for later and I'll switch my Lightpulsar Dragon to defense and then I'll set a new monster and that's all for me."
He drew a card and quickly played a card as a Sabersaurus appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"I Attack your stronger one first."
The huge dinosaur glowed as a blast of electricity shot out and slammed into his Lightpulsar Dragon and blew it to minute shards.
"Sabersaurus, attack!"
It quickly rushed in and a Morphing Jar appeared (DEF: 600) and the dinosaur smashed it to bits and both discarded a card and both drew 5 cards and he resumed, "You'll never win against me. I end my turn now."
He drew a card and resumed, "I Summon my Lord of Dragons."
He played the card and Dragon Summoner mage appeared (ATK: 1,200).
"I activate the Flute of Summoning Dragon to bring out my Dark End Evaporation Dragon and my Rabbidragon."
He played the cards and the a large dark dragon that looked like a stronger Dark End Dragon appeared (ATK: 2,600) next to a strange one that looked like a combo of a rabbit and a large dragon (ATK: 2,950) and Kara nodded and resumed, "What a couple of cool monsters."
"I now activate my facedown Dragon's Light and Darkness and give my Rabbidragon 200 attack times its level."
The facedown card lifted up and the dragon glowed (ATK: 2,950 - 4,550) and Bailey nodded and resumed, "I think we all know where this is going."
"I'll take away 500 of my Dark Dragon's points to destroy any monster you have."
It roared (ATK: 2,600 - 2,100) as a burst of black shards shot out and pierced through the huge dinosaur and it roared in pain before exploded in a fiery shower of colorful lights.
"I attack my stronger one first."
It glowed and it let out a fiery burst of light and it shot out and burned the dinosaur to a crisp (Sly Guy LP: 4600 - 2950) and Christian smiled and resumed, "My remaining monsters will finish you off."
The Spellcaster glowed as a bolt of dark energy shot out and struck him (Sly Guy LP: 2950 - 1750) and then the large dark dragon glowed as a burst of black shards shot out and struck him down (Sly Guy LP: 600 - 0) and the crowd cheered as his three monsters faded away into nothing and then Bailey smiled and resumed, "His deck is super powerful. I hope I don't have to face him anytime soon."
He looked down to Sly Guy and replied, "You owe me that notebook and 3 star chips."
The reporter sighed as he took 3 star chips and he grabbed them and he handed him the notebook and then Sly Guy began to laugh and then replied, "Your skills are better then ever, Christian."
Christian nodded and replied, "Your deck is just as good, Sly."
The girls and everyone looked puzzled and Christian then replied, "This is actually my closest friend growing up and after I became rich with my family, I hired him to be 2nd in Command behind me when I'm not able to and I taught him well. He's going to be a great member for my company and I'm happy to have him around. He wanted to come here as a regular duelist and nothing more. He wanted to test us and everyone else here to think he was a selfish reporter and not knowing to you all, he is one of the nicest guys I've ever met."
They both high-fived each other and then Sly looked at the ladies and resumed, "I'm really sorry if I made anyone of you fell bad or uncomfortable before our duel, ladies. I never meant to do anyone any harm."
Christian nodded and resumed, "Me and my buddy only meant to do good. I'm sorry as well if I deceived any of you ladies."
Maddie nodded and resumed, "It's all good, guys. Your both great duelists and that was a fun and fantastic duel to watch."
Kara smiled and resumed, "This was a odd one, but I forgive because he didn't mean to do any harm to us. It's cool. Christian."
Sly looked back at him and replied, "Want to get a drink somewhere, buddy?"
He nodded and then Christian looked back at the ladies and he replied, "I'll meet you at the coffee house at around 6:30 tonight and we'll head to our dinner location. Later, ladies."
They nodded as they both left and then Serena then replied, "Let's go for some food, ladies."
They nodded and they went to find somewhere for a meal.
