The Heretical Rituals of the Bringers of Renewed Greatness

In all my days of unearthing tech heresies and discovering forbidden deviations from the holy standard models, never have I come across such deviant behaviour from tech-priests uninfluenced by Xenos or direct exposure to the Warp as shown by the accursed heretek's who call themselves The Bringers of Renewed Greatness, which the common people of the Cainite Protectorate apparently abbreviate to BORG's. They claim to still be servants of the Omnissiah, but in the following summary I intend to show how far they have fallen from the standard required of the Mechanicus. Their methods, which they absurdly claim to be superior to those used by the true followers of the Omnissiah, are childishly foolish. They do not manufacture blessed servitors for simple tasks, instead using trained labourers and single function machines such as CAT's. Their facsimiles of magos biologis instead spend most of their time researching strange topics such as how to keep the unaugmented human body healthy and how to maximise crop and mineral yields without altering a planet's natural ecosphere. They also research into how to combat various Xenos species, which they claim to have made ridiculously large steps in, despite the Imperium having studied the same subject for millennia with minimal progress (See Classified Fecundia Reports 1244 to 15327), obviously a propaganda ridden falsehood to keep their subjugated populations calm now they have been pulled from the Imperium's protection.
They have ceased to use blessed incense in their rituals and manufacturing procedures to appease machine spirits, claiming that it "interferes with vital chemical reactions", and that "It isn't really necessary and manufacturing and using it wastes time and manpower". This is of course heresy of the highest order, and I suggest adding large quantities of incense to any macro shells used to bombard a protectorate planet, in order to bring their machines over to our service. This may involve cutting down the detonating charge resulting in a much weaker explosion, but the result should pay dividends.
Similarly, they no longer add sacred unguents to holy lubricating oil, claiming that "They are non-essential contaminants, and are actually likely to cause a machine to break down sooner". Surely there can be no lower ebb that a former tech priest can reach than to deny a once sacred machine the blessings that it requires to keep functioning.
Expanding on their previously mentioned failure to use servitors, they have reportedly accommodated for this by increasing the level of automation their manufacturing methods use while minimising the number of unaugmented humans required to perform the tasks most likely to result in damage to feeble biological functions, and in doing so have possibly verged dangerously close to one of the most heretical actions imaginable, the creation of Abominable Intelligence. I wish to request that the Ordo Hereticus keep a specific eye out for such monstrous activities, and expect my application to make said request to a pertinent inquisitor to be processed at some point within the next 80 years.
The BORG's have also been indulging in one of the most horrific actions a tech-priest can ever consider, the blasphemy of Innovation. As one who chose to give up his role in the Quest for Knowledge in order to maintain the sacred standard designs, I find this particular heresy exceptionally gruesome. Not only have they been creating new and surely inferior technologies at a monstrous rate in order to make up for their lack of true knowledge of the Omnissiah's blessings, but they have also been varying upon the most universally spread STC technologies. Their tanks are not recognisable from any known STC template, their ships all appear to be horrifying creations light years away from the finest designs ever to come from the Ring of Iron, lacking even the most basic ornamentation honouring the Emperor in his incarnation as the Omnissiah (and as such must be prone to constant breakdown as the machine spirits rebel against such insults), and their las weapons and power armour are only recognisable as originating from humanity in the most stressed of ways, being far too light and having an energy efficiency that must be causing their poor machine spirits to suffer horribly from thirst.
On the subject of fuel, they seem to abstain from the use of sacred promethium wherever possible with the exception of flamers (which they use on the servants of Nurgle with an enthusiasm which could almost be called excessive were it not heretics destroying other heretics), instead using power cells which they charge from geothermal stations, plasma generators, or solar power harvesting plants. Such foolishness means that their planets are not blessed by the sacred smogs which the Omnissiah visits on Imperial forge or manufacturing worlds in order to ensure that his true followers can thrive while the weak flesh of the unfaithful fails.
To touch on the former/self-proclaimed tech priests themselves, many are barely more augmented than the standard layworker would be on a forge world, or do not wear the assigned robes that should mark their precise standing within their blasphemous ranks, often wearing plain "jumpsuits" or "overalls" when working, or even donning casual clothing as worn by the unaugmented when not creating their techno-heresies, and mixing with the common people in drinking halls and places of entertainment rather than dedicating themselves to binharic chant or private study as is fitting.
What is even more horrifyingly heretical though, is that they SHARE their pitiful yet still vital knowledge of the Omnissiah's mysteries with the general populace of the Protectorate, holding regular lectures and tutoring sessions where they impart secrets that the Mechanicus have held close for millennia to any passerby, no matter their background, basing in techno-theology, or even religious creed within the Protectorate's apostate pantheon. I have not yet comprehended their reasoning behind this last insult to the creed of the Omnissiah, for surely it must be madness incarnate that leads them to such actions.
To conclude, the BORG's are insane hereteks of the first order, and should be treated in the same way as all such traitors are. I intend to delete some of the data I have gleaned during writing this report from my memory banks, as possessing such terrible knowledge is too much for me to tolerate.
