The first step of Chaos Cultivation awakening your psychic potential. Then you refine your soul 9,8, or 6 major times. You then finally to take the next step after your final 9th, 8th or 6th soul refinement. You have to find 9 secretts of Tzxeentch, 8 truths for Khorne or 6 muses of Slaneesh and, after this you ether becme a demon primce or become a Title Chaos lord. A Title chaos lord is some one whose chaotic narrative as a passive affect on the world around then.
Major Cultivation paths
Tze The path of Change- This path focuses on using sorcery in its myriad of used and the mysteries of the warp
Kho path of Battle- All cultivator of this path are fighter of some form. The follower are incapable to use sorcery in a fight. They however can still use sorcery to make to make stuff for a fight, This restriction also doesn't apply to using their psychic powers
Sla path of excess- Cultivator of this path just choose some thing and over specialize in it. Their the second most varied path
Und path of you- This path is deferent for everyone so no two Und Cultivator are the same. It's also the hardest since until you ascend to prince hood or become a Title Chaos lord. You are constantly walking a tightrope when you cultivate true death to worse is a very real possibility with this path
