"Since we've been back from pilgrim times, Prue's been on a demon bender." Piper commented to Phoebe, as she prepared to head to the club a few weeks later. "Hey, I did some checking, that rock shield Xander made, it still exists. There's a whole lot of stories about it too, like Stonehenge."

"Wow and you think? Because demons are all she ever talks about? That and learning everything she can about our lost knowledge and heritage."

"Eva was right that there's a lot of information on Magic that we don't know." Piper reminded her. "Xander has an idea of what some of that knowledge is given there's hints about it in the Watchers Chronicles and he's been studying them. But those are hints at best, stories with grains of truth in them and given that someone evil tried to wipe out our family before it even got started, I can understand why she wants to learn as much as she can. We've got enemies, we have to acknowledge that and try to prepare for any potential attack."

"Because sooner or later, they will attack." Phoebe sighed. "That's the downside of being a good witch, evil wants to wipe us out."

"Because it's officially our job to stop them from hurting innocents."

"A job we accepted when we passed our rite of passage." Phoebe nodded. "Most of the time, I like being a witch. It feels good to help people, to stop demons from hurting them. Being hunted isn't so much fun, that doesn't make me a hypocrite, does it?"

"No, because you don't enjoy the hunting of demons, you enjoy the protecting of innocents. There's a difference. And demons enjoy more than hunting, they enjoy torturing and killing too. Last I checked you don't even do those things, let alone enjoy them."

"Last time I checked too. Let me check again. Yep, still don't enjoy torturing or killing. Whew!" Phoebe pretended to wipe her brow. "I'm still a good witch. I've got to go, I have a date."

"You've been dateless for quite awhile, dare I ask who it is that's caught Phoebe Halliwell's attention?" Piper teased.

"You know who. He's about six foot or so, has dark eyes. Puts bad humans in jail."

"Don't let Prue or Sheila catch you checking out Andy or Daryl."

"Ha. Funny. Not. Cole will be here soon and I've got to get ready." She headed upstairs as Piper headed out the front door, she had a business to run.

Phoebe tried not to show how eager she was for Cole to arrive for their first official date. They'd talked several times over the phone, getting to know each other and had actually had coffee a couple of times down the street from his office, but this was the first time he'd asked her out and it was to a nice restaurant as well. She hadn't dressed up or gone out with a guy in far, far too long and Cole seemed like a nice, normal, smart guy. And really hot, yes she was definitely looking forward to this date.

Far below San Francisco in the chamber the Triad met in, the demon Balthazor appeared in his human form of Cole Turner. Unlike most demons who's human form was an illusion that let them walk among the sheep, Cole's human form was because he was half human.

"I hope you have good news for us, Balthazor. Your lack of progress against the Charmed Ones is concerning." One of them spoke.

"I'm making progress, I'm targeting the youngest, Phoebe. She's agreed to a date with me. She's my way in and soon, I'll know just what it takes to destroy them."

"Many have said that. None have succeeded." Another warned.

"They're not me."
