Mahaado appeared outside a house and knocked. His brother opened the door and glared at him, "What do you want? Unless it's to give me the kingdom I'm not interested." Baniti said.

"I will never give you the Star Kingdom. You know that my father never formally adopted you. So your status is still my cousin. You will never have any claim to the throne. I have a son now. However, I can give you a Kingdom of your own."

Baniti raised an eyebrow, "What are you going to split up the Star Kingdom?"

"Can we discuss this inside?"

Baniti was hesitant but agreed. As they sat down he asked again, "Why are you here?"

Mahaado held his palm up and said, "This is my SIL Princess Maura."

"Cute kid, so what does that have to do with me?"

"Her kingdom is screwed up. A long time ago the king and his second wife had a boy. But his late first wife had a girl. The king and second wife decided they wanted the newborn son to rule. So instead of simply changing the law to only first born males can rule they lie to a passing prince that the princess was to be put to death as she was over 10."

"What? Why?"

"Because they wanted to get rid of the girl as she was next in line for the throne. So they changed the official law which had no death penalty but they couldn't marry till they were 16 and changed it to girls by 10 and boy's by 13 must marry or die. My own wife was 10 I think when I married her."

"If you're saying I should marry this kid to get her kingdom no chance. Just because you chose to do a kid doesn't mean I will."

"I didn't sleep with her till she was 14. She even slept in a spare room." Mahaado said. Although if you really pressed him and asked if he was sure she really was 14 he couldn't. Honestly he never worried about ages. He had been told she was 14 and ready for him to officially claim as his wife. But he never bothered to ask her what her age was. For all he knew she could have been younger. He had been excited as he'd never had a shy, scared virgin before. He honestly would have taken her the night of their wedding. But his advisors argued he should wait. He really hadn't been happy about having a 10 year child as his bride but didn't fight it.

"Again, I'm not into kids. Even if she was 14, which, she doesn't look it."

"She's 10 or was that 12. I'm not good with ages."

"I don't care. I don't want a Kingdom where I have to raise my bride."

Mahaado glared at him for that comment, "She's currently evading Prince Mako Achelous of Aquarius whom she was formally engaged to. Although the wedding was called off he hasn't given up. He's even declared war and ceased all trade routes between my kingdom and my other SIL's kingdom of Kamilah."

"Oh so there are two of you sicko marrying underage girls."

"Would you rather we have let them be killed?"

"Please, if you hadn't been at least a little interested you would have used your magic to get them to change their minds and change the law back or create a new law."

"I lied to my wife that I wouldn't do anything. Truth was I did try. But I don't know where Hera found either a strong magic user capable of blocking me or charms strong enough to block my magic."

Baniti wasn't really sure if he believed it. But for now let it slide. "If Prince Mako is that determined, why argue? Why not just hand the girl over?"

"It's complicated. See Maura ran away the day of the wedding. The royal advisor for the kingdom of Draglor for reasons unknown was nearby and found her. He took her home."

"Let me guess, another sicko like you and he agreed to marry her instead?"

"Stop calling me that! No, he apparently adopted her as a little sister for him, his brother the king and their 10 year old brother. My wife Diana and her sister Jasmine convinced their stepmother, the current ruler of the Sky Kingdom, until Maura is 18 to let her go."

"How does any of this affect me?"

Mahaado then told him about the phone call Jasmine heard.

"He's a sick bastard, so what? Just because unlike you or the other guy he wants to actually take her, I don't understand the problem."

"Did you sleep past the part where he passes her around and has her killed if they knock her up?"

Baniti shrugged, "Tragic, but what can I do? I already told you I won't marry her. Not even to save her."

"You help me take Prince Mako and his wimpy father King Laguz down in a coup. Then you declare yourself king."

"What's the catch?"

"You reestablish the trade routes and never try to take the Star Kingdom or any other kingdom down. Follow those rules and we'll have no more problems."

"Do I have to keep the kingdom name of Aquarius?"

"Well if you don't want to anger the people of that country I wouldn't. Give it a year or two and then send out a request that you would like to change the name. Then go from there based on how they feel about the name change."

"Why should I ask for permission? I'll be king?"

Mahaado shrugged, "Suit yourself. Just don't come crawling to me when the people overthrow you and reinstate Prince Mako because their new king is a tyrant that doesn't care about the feelings of his people."

"Fine, point taken. There's really no other catch? Like I have to report to you or anything?"

"No, I won't dictate what you can or can't do. I'm willing to give advice if need be. But the kingdom will be yours to command as you see fit."

Baniti smiled, "You have yourself a deal. Your army can stop playing with their army. You can play with the prince, while I'll take care of their whimpy king."

The two set off and arrived to see Mahaado's troops standing around.

"Why are they standing around?"

"Prince Nitesh requested us to temporarily stand down and pretend to retreat since the army was focusing their attack on them." Damien said.

"Have the men ready to attack when I give the signal." Mahaado said.

"Yes sir."

The two quickly teleported to the other side to talk to Nitesh.
