His eyes shot open, looking up to an almost blinding light coming from the roof of where he fell. In a moment his eyes scanned the area as he sat up. He had landed on a bed of flowers, and he was not any worse for wear. It seems he must have automatically used cursed energy to reinforce his body before impact. He didn't have the foresight to use infinity to stop his fall, or even slow it.

The ten year old Satoru Gojo let out a sigh as he chastised himself for panicking and tripping over while on this mountain. Regardless, it shouldn't be too much of an issue, he recently learned how to use infinity to fly, albeit slowly. It would make getting out of this pit easy.

Satoru quickly dusted off his white and dark blue striped hoodie and focused on his technique. By feeding more cursed energy to infinity he can force more space between his feet and the ground. It was slow due to Satoru not wanting to burn through his cursed energy reserves he had, despite having perfect efficiency with Six Eyes he was still working with a small pool due to being a child and the lack of experience in flight made mistakes still very possible.

As he only got a few feet off the ground, Satoru's eyes widened once again as he realized something. The top end of the pit was sealed off by a barrier technique. It was extremely potent, it had to be created by multiple high-grade sorcerers and possibly some life-infused binding vows to make it as strong and sustainable as it was. Satoru had to steady his nerves for a moment as he lowered himself to the ground.

Was he trapped here? Blue was nowhere strong enough to break that barrier, even a maximum output wouldn't dent it, it would just serve to burn out his cursed energy. The child took a moment to think.

"There has to be another way out, sorcerers wouldn't put a veil up in the middle of nowhere and for no reason. Maybe they are guarding something."

The Gojo child then started to get excited, it had to be the case. There could be something really awesome here and he could get a front row seat to it. Besides, the whole reason he left his caretakers was to run away and do some adventuring.

The sorcerer then took another glance around, only to find a clear path leading to an open archway. With a confident stride the child walked toward the opening, ready to see what the hell was hidden here anyways.

As the child walked through the archway, time seemed to slow as his six eyes laid upon a flower-shaped creature revealed in a column of light from the ceiling. Before Six Eyes could properly examine it, Satoru thought it a Cursed Spirit, but then the information flooded his mind. This was not an average Cursed Spirit, there was something else about this creature.

It was made up of both negative cursed energy and positive cursed energy, but there was no SOUL. Even Grade 4 Cursed Spirits had something resembling a SOUL. But despite that there was another thing he gleamed in that instance.

This was a very powerful vengeful cursed spirit.

"Howdy! I'm Flowey. Flowey the flower!"

Satoru Gojo quickly focused harshly on the cursed spirit, it seems it was suppressing its murderous intent.

"Hmmm… You're new to the UNDERGROUND aren' cha?"

Satoru said nothing as he stared hard into the eyes of the spirit.

"Golly, you must be so confused. Someone ought to teach you how things work around here!"

The flower made a gesture as to say 'oh well'.

"I guess little old me will have to do. Ready?"

In an instant Satoru saw a barrier form around himself and the cursed spirit, and upon doing so it revealed his SOUL.

Satoru was worried for a moment, was this a- no. No this wasn't a domain expansion, it was a simple domain. Though the binding vows imbued in it made his SOUL manifest outside of his body, but in return it seems no cursed technique or cursed energy infused object could harm his physical self.

"See that heart? That is your SOUL, the very culmination of your being!"

Satoru tested it, and he was in fact able to move his SOUL separately from his body, it was almost as if he was moving another appendage.

"Your SOUL starts off weak, but can grow strong if you gain a lot of LV."

Satoru quickly moved his SOUL to overlap with his physical body, so they are occupying the same space.

"What's LV stand for? Why, LOVE, of course! You want some LOVE don't you? Don't worry, I'll share some with you."

The Cursed Spirit quickly manifested fice cursed energy infused pellets that hovered around itself.

"Down here, LOVE is shared through… little white… 'friendliness pellets.'"

Satoru then started to study them closely, using Six Eyes to judge their velocity when they are thrown.

"Are you ready? Move around! Get as many as you can!"

As the pellets traveled closer to Satoru Gojo, it was then obvious to Flowey what this human child truly was.

He was a sorcerer.

With a small spike of cursed energy, Flowey felt the boy activate his Cursed Technique, and seeing it stop his pellets from moving as it got closer to the boy's SOUL.

"No thanks, I'd rather not be plant food."

A marble sized blue light appeared in the boy's hand as he held it out.

"Cursed Technique: Lapse Blue."

The blue light engulfed the room as the sound of screeching and vines tearing occupied it.

The simple domain shattered as Satoru's SOUL returned to his body, but the boy looked extremely annoyed.

"Damn, it got away."

Satoru continued to scan the area with Six Eyes to make sure the Cursed Spirit wasn't going to try another sneak attack on him. After a few seconds he deactivated his infinity, trying to regain his cursed energy reserves.

It was not long after that he heard footsteps. As the boy turned to the sound he was shocked to see the figure looking down at him

A creature resembling a goat looked at the boy in a worried expression. His Six Eyes told him this was not a cursed spirit, nor was it a human. It had a SOUL and a large reserve of positive cursed energy.

Satoru took a nervous step back as he was unsure of their intention.

"Ah, do not be afraid, my child." The voice was feminine and mature.

"Wait, wha-" Before Gojo could cut in, the goat-lady continued talking.

"I am TORIEL, caretaker of the RUINS. I pass through this place everyday to see if anyone has fallen down."

"Wait, you literally wait for someone to fall down here, that happens… often?"

"Well, truth be told. You are the first human to come here in a long time."

Before the boy can say another word, Toriel speaks with a certainty in her voice.

"Come! I will guide you through the catacombs."

She turns around and takes a few steps before saying "This way."

The white haired youth took a moment to stare at her, he really hopes she's not the over bearing type.

But then again, this is an underground catacomb. That's pretty cool. He decided to follow her, and it seems there is a way out of the barrier after all.

Satoru walked behind the strange lady through another archway, it led to a room of two stone staircases and many red leaves on the ground. As he walked up the stairs, he looked down to the red petals. Something felt… off.

The boy shrugged it off and continued to follow the goat lady.

As Satoru followed her into the next room, she spoke once again.

"Welcome to your new home, innocent one."

Gojo looked up at Toriel with wide eyes before responding.

"...Wait, new home!"
