When the four landed in an out-of-the-way place, Alex looked around and nodded.
"We'll only have to be here for a day this time, I felt different traveling in the house I only felt a slight shift, when I was flung through the blind eternities I felt like I was going to be pulled apart it's probably why those two said I should wait a week or so," he told the other three as they were looking around the place mainly speaking to Sam.
Sam pulled him into a hug for a second before pulling back and looking into his eyes.
"That's great, I got the feeling that you didn't want to be here for all that long."
Alex shook his head with a frown, "Not remotely, this Gotham is worse than the one from the last world."
"Okay let's get this finished and leave the city, " Sam said while looking at the entrance of the alley they were in as a group of people dressed in clown-like get-ups slowly made their way to the group.
Alex looked at the group as well and sighed, "Karen, be a good girl and go play with the clowns for a bit."
The excitable girl began to bounce on her toes before she disappeared in a blur that caused the clowns to stop in their tracks then they all fell to the ground.
The other three watched as Karen to their eyes was dancing around and poking the clowns in their stomachs or other body parts.
Karen then went back to Sam's side just as they hit the ground, " They were slow, Conner and Kara are better at tickle fights," she said with a pout.
Sam pulled Karen into her arms and kissed the top of her head, "It's fine sweetie you are just the best tickle monster here."
Alex and Powergirl looked on as Sam comforted Karen then went to check on the clowns, they were all unconscious but not overly hurt.
Alex looked closely at two of the clowns noting that the two looked like teen versions of Harley Quinn.
"Okay they're fine and will live, let's get going the cops will get them later or some other clowns will find them later," Alex said while walking back to Sam and Karen.
"Kira," Powergirl said while she followed him.
"Parden?" Alex asked stopping in his tracks.
"It's the name I've decided to go by," the now-named Kira said while she kept walking to the others.
Alex nodded and smiled as he followed her now, Karen and Sam smiled at Kira as she told them she would go by her new name.
"Alright let's get out of here, we've got a bit of shopping to do then get to another world," Alex said with a grimace.
The two grown women had to hide their smiles and laugh at him while Karen looked happy at the thought of going to explore the city.
The day went slow as the three dragged him from shop to shop modeling clothing for his opinion, he hid his pain well as each time Sam and Kira would display the clothes while he thought Karen was the cutest thing in the world.
When they got to bathing suits Alex nearly ran out of the building especially when Kira came out in a two-piece that was barely covering her pubic mound that Sam had snuck into the one piece that she had wanted to try on.
After the last store, Alex looked like a zombie carrying a few bags they hadn't been able to stash into the house or their hammerspace before leaving.
"These cards are useful, I didn't know that they were usable outside the 'Market'," Sam said while picking up a sleepy Karen.
Kira followed them with a blush as she tried not to think of the last bathing suit that she had practically been forced into by Sam who squeezed into the changing room and wouldn't leave until she put the stuff on with a grin that gave her shivers.
"Back to the house, I want to try something in the shop and possibly go back to the 'Market' to set a few things up to sell, "Alex said while turning into an alley and storing the bags in his hands.
Sam and Kira followed him into the house, on the building across from the alley a dark figure watched them disappear through the door that faded from sight.
'Report,' the voice of Bruce barked from the communications systems of the suit.
"They bought several hundred thousand dollars worth of clothes of all kinds then disappeared through what looked to be a door that disappeared after it was closed."
'Did they speak to anyone?'
"Nobody aside from the salesperson, paid with those old-fashioned cards instead of using the hand scanner."
'Track the numbers from the cards, find out where they have been or are going.'
"Already tried that the account was only used in the stores they shopped at," Terry said while jumping down to the street.
'I'll set up a search program on the account to show up in other places,' Bruce growled out before cutting the communications.
Terry looked around the alley his suit scanning for anomalies but found nothing until a door opened in the air behind him and a hand landed on his shoulder.
"Hey there little Bat tell the old man he needs a new hobby," a gruff voice said before the hand was withdrawn and the door fades away.
Terry jumped and spun just in time to see the door disappear, opening a link to Bruce, "You are going to have to search for more than one some other guy just opened one of those doors," he said before closing his end of the call and using the jets in his boots to fly up to the roof of the building.
Sam had taken Karen to her room for a nap and had just returned to the living room as Kira closed the door and Alex withdrew his arm from it, she saw through the window that they had played a trick of sorts on Terry McGinnis.
Both had large smiles on their faces and nearly fell to the floor laughing when the door was closed.
"Yeah, that's not going to cause him to be paranoid for a while now is it?" Sam asked causing the two to jump.
"I saw him landing where the door was and looking for it or something," Alex said while rubbing the back of his head while Kira just looked sheepish.
"Yeah that's nice and all but what is he going to do when Bruce has him out looking for us and something comes up that he misses because he wasn't where he needs to be?" Sam asked while crossing her arms.
Alex shrugged a bit much to Sam's irritation, "Bruce has him all over the place plus they have the city bugged so he won't miss much of anything."
"Fine but no more picking on the young man, now get to the workshop and do what you were going to do right after you put Kiras bags on the couch," Sam ordered.
Alex stood still grinning, " Alright well we are done here anyways," he said as he unloaded the things Kira picked out and put the bags on the couch.
After placing the last bag he went to the workshop leaving the women to sort things out.
"Okay get your things put away then see what he's got planned," Sam said while picking up a few bags going to the room that Kira had been using, and putting them on the bed.
Kira followed with the rest of the bags, "What was up with that last bikini? I felt exposed to the world in it," Kira said while dropping her bags and emptying them to put the clothes away.
"It's almost a tradition to get a set like that and show it off to the guy who is shopping with you even if you aren't with him as more than a friend to embarrass him," Sam said while picking up the bikini with a grin, "Plus you looked yummy in it."
Kira blushed at that, "That's not true I lost my larger boobs and am now in a teen body after Alex fixed the flaws that were in my body cause of the bad cloning," Kira almost pouted dropping the shirt she was putting on a hanger and lifted her breast that had gone from EE to C cups.
"They are fine dear just as is the rest of you, big breasts are just the dreams of total perverts and only get in the way most of the time, and if you still had the big ones when you powered down to human levels of strength your back would have been killing you after a few hours," Sam pointed out as she put away a skirt and tank top combo that was perfect for clubbing.
Kira nodded as she sorted a few sets of jeans and tops that she put in the dresser along with a few pairs of socks and panties.
"Why did we buy these? The morphic clothes Alex gave me could just copy them."
"We would have stuck out if we had tried on things and then not bought anything, " Sam said while lining up a few pairs of shoes in the closet just under the skirts and dresses.
"Oh, I hadn't thought of that," Kira said thoughtfully.
"Yeah, plus having the actual clothes that got a reaction from Alex adds a bit of sentiment to the stuff you got."
"But you are his wife so isn't it a bad thing to show myself to him in these things?"
"No, we aren't married yet and we are going to be together for a very long time, watching him squirm a little bit adds a bit of spice to our relationship."
"But you are tempting him to look at other women aren't you afraid he will cheat on you?"
Sam looked over her shoulder as she hung up the last dress with a grin that did funny things to Kira's insides.
"Only if he doesn't share is it cheating," Sam said while looking Kira over slowly.
Kira squirmed under her gaze feeling herself heating up, "You're a dangerous woman."
"Only when I want to be," Sam chuckled turning to face Kira she smiled, "You need to know that people like Alex and I will likely have many lovers between us as we go through our lives, it's very uncommon for dimensional travelers to be monogamous, yes I will be his wife but without someone else now and then or even permanently, we would eventually tire of each other and possibly end up hating the other and that's never a good thing."
"Are you trying to recruit me to travel realities with you all?"
"Sort of, I have no problem with you staying with us for as long as you want, and though Alex may take some time to get used to the idea he is a man eventually he'll come around if you want to come with us, plus Karen likes you," Sam told her as she moved to the door.
"I'll need to think this over, I still don't know if I can stay at home," Kira said while dropping onto the bed with a thoughtful look.
"Take your time it'll be at least a month before we return to your home world," Sam told her as she closed the door leaving Kira to her thoughts.
Meanwhile, Alex entered the workshop, walking past the rows of vehicles, it took him a few minutes to reach the end of the rows.
Once in a clear area, he held out his hands and focused on creating a Javelin, modifying the fuel system to use the arch reactor-like systems he found in the aircraft from the zombie world.
Stepping back he took a deep breath as he prepared to create a bioship, this would be the first time he would make such a large living thing.
Holding up his hands one more time he drew up the image of the bioship in his mind, a faint glowing green light emitted from the palms of his hands growing brighter and larger as the seconds passed until it flashed when the light faded a bioship resembling M'ganns rested on the shop floor.
Alex smiled as he stood looking at the ship, he needed to wait for a few minutes as it slowly became aware and ran some systems checks.
After a few minutes, he felt something brush his mind but it flinched back as it felt his mental defense.
"Easy there, just don't go too deep," he told the young ship.
'Are you my captain?' the ship asks using an external audio system to speak, in a voice similar to that of a young girl.
Alex smiled as he slowly walked around the ship inspecting it as he went, " Yes I am Alex and I will be your captain."
'It's nice to meet you, captain, who is the female approaching?'
Alex turned to find Sam walking over to see what he was doing, "That's my second in command Sam, her mind is as protected as mine so surface touches only." he told the ship warning it to not go deep into Sam's mind.
'Yes captain and it is nice to meet you, Sam.' The ship answered and greeted Sam.
Sam had stopped walking as the ship spoke and brushed her mind, " Nice to meet you," she replied before looking at Alex the question of what was going on in her eyes.
"We'll need a ship from time to time in our travels, it's just going to take her some time to grow up well a few days at least when she absorbs the Javelin anyway."
'Breakfast?' the ship asks.
"Yeah but just the Javelin here," Alex said while pointing to the only Javelin in the workshop, "The rest of the things in here are Sam's work and things she is trying to learn how to recreate using other levels of technology."
'Okay, Thank you for the meal.' The ship said before it floated over the Javelin and spread itself over it until it covered it and began absorbing it.
Sam watched this happen with fascination, "How long will this take?"
Alex shrugged, "A few minutes to absorb but a few days to acclimatize to the new systems she's going to have."
"Okay well I would like to check her over before we take her out of here," Sam said then looked around the workshop, "How are we doing that by the way I don't see a door big enough to get her out of here?"
Alex smiled and then pointed back toward the door leading back to the main part of the house where the access to the vault and market is.
"I'll need to go buy a spaceport from the market, I also want to see if they have expansions for the house, while four bedrooms are fine we'll possibly need a library and movies we didn't buy any from Kira's home world or the last place."
Sam looked to the door noticed the glowing ring on the floor and nodded, " Yeah that's not a bad idea, we'll need somewhere to teach Karen."
"Yeah that's one thing but the main thing is sometimes we're likely going to end up in a world we don't want to explore and may not be able to leave in just a day or so, I'm thinking that because this world is close to where we left from so we can leave so soon."
"Yeah that's possible," Sam said while looking back to the bioship that had returned to its resting state, "I'll go tell Kira we are going to be out for a bit so she can keep an eye on Karen."
Saying that she left to go tell Kira the plan, walking through the house she found her sitting in the living room her eyes were not focused on anything as she looked through the window that showed a sunlit grassland.
Sitting beside Kira she waited for a minute but she did not seem to notice Sam had joined her.
"Penny for your thoughts?"
Kira jumped at the words, patting her chest to slow her breathing and heart down, "Don't do that."
"So what have you so deep in your thoughts that you didn't notice me?" Sam asked with a grin.
"You're the reason, I've been sitting here thinking," Kira sighed returning her eyes to the window, "I know I may be able to go home but I'm not sure it's a good idea to do that, they already have a version of me there and yeah they may accept me but I would feel out of place there if I stayed for long, and then there's what you told me earlier it's been running through my mind ever since and I'm not sure what to do."
Sam patted her leg and smiled, "I told you to take your time and think it over, you've got time to go over it and decide what you want to do, but for now I wanted to ask you to watch out for Karen, Alex and I have a few errands to run."
"Yeah, I can do that," Kira agreed.
"Thanks, I don't think we'll be gone that long but if she gets hungry there's stuff to make sandwiches in the kitchen and drinks in the fridge."
Kira nodded, "That's good because I can't cook to save my life," she said with a laugh.
"Yeah I know how that is, I had to learn to cook but I'm not all that good of a cook still, Alex does most of the cooking," Sam told her, "I still burn stuff because I get distracted with something I want to work on in the shop."
Kira nodded, "I can boil water or heat something in the microwave and that's about as far as my cooking skills go."
Sam got up and went back to the workshop, "Ohh yeah he said something about buying a few things for the house so if something changes it's just him having stuff added."
Kira watched her go before returning to looking through the window, "Okay."
When Sam returned to the workshop she found Alex standing near the ring on the floor that would take them to the Market.
"You may want to look into a cook or something, Kira can't cook any better than I can."
"Yeah I know I was thinking about a maid or butler, I don't mind cooking but I can't do it for every meal and I'm not really all that fond of fast food."
Alex took Sam's hand and pulled her into the ring, with a flash they were in the vault, Sam was looking around her fingers twitching as she saw the table with the lightsaber and shrunken ships.
"Oh yeah I forgot about those, " Alex said as he walked past the table to the sales table where all he had set to sell had been bought.
"How could you forget something like this?"
"Well the lightsaber needs the Force to wield properly and I don't plan on getting anywhere near that power set it's too easy to get corrupted by either side and damn near impossible to keep neutral," he said while putting several more bikes and other ground type vehicles up for sell.
"And the ships or the wrist strap thing?"
"Well the ships are ok but the Enterprise nx01 is a bit big and the WhiteStar is nice and all but only has enough room for a single pilot, the wrist thing is an Omni tool that can be used as a scanner and communication device but we need to get a communications relay added to the house so we aren't limited to a solar system to call each other."
Sam was looking over his shoulder as he was setting the items he wanted to sell and was shocked when the numbers of the prices people were offering to pay for them had reached the thousands in seconds.
"That's a lot for something you get for free," she said when one of the hummer-like vehicles reached fifteen thousand.
"Yeah I know but some of these people are buying them to do the same thing so eventually the prices will go down," Alex said as he moved to the Bloodline area and dropped four sets of the Kryptonian bloodline.
"How many of those are you going to sell?" Sam asked while she watched the numbers reach the millions in just a few seconds.
Alex shrugged, "Not sure, I may wait a while after these are sold, now I need to see about the spaceport, library, and butler or maid."
Stepping over to the search panel he entered the requirements for the spaceport making sure to include that his ship was biological, after a few seconds the screen filled with many possibilities.
"I doubt we'll have more than one ship but there are not any single ship ports available," he said while removing the ones that would hold up to thirty ships or more.
"See about one that will hold five, that should be enough plus sometimes we may not be able to use the Bioship," Sam pointed out as she read some of the descriptions.
Alex ended up finding a spaceport that would hold six ships that came with a repair function and a bay door that would open in a chosen location but it had to be in whichever reality he was located in.
When Sam saw the purchase price of ten million she nearly choked on a gasp, "How can something so large and useful be less than what you are getting for one of those power sets?" she nearly shrieked while pointing to one of the Kryptonian bloodlines that had already hit fifteen million.
Alex looked at the bids and then at Sam, "These things are built in dead or dying universes so the materials are not that hard to get while the Bloodline is considered extremely rare and hard even for one of the companies that work out of the market to get."
As Sam listened to him one of the Bloodlines had been purchased for twenty million when the coins appeared and floated from the table to the pile Sam could only shake her head.
"Now for the library," Alex said pulling her from her stunned state.
"Let's see what we have, huh not as many choices, one that will grow when we want to add reality knowledge or just a basic library that covers a choice of three realities information, it includes translated video and audio stuff as well."
"Get the second one, we can add to it later if we need to," Sam said while thinking that they didn't need a library that would fill with information they may never use.
Alex smiled and nodded as he selected the three-tier library then looked at Sam as if asking her to make the choices in what to fill the library with.
"Marvel, StarTrek, and a basic Earth will be a fine start," she told him pointing to the three she selected from the list that covered the screen that had expanded to show thousands of potential library options.
Alex picked the ones going for the best of each section, "The Marvel one only covers the few inhabited planets mentioned in the movies, StarTrek covers the alpha quadrant of Milky Way galaxy, and then the basic Earth covers up to about twenty-twenty so we'll not run out of stuff to study for quite a long time."
"Yeah I think you're right about that but we'll have to set up some parental controls so Karen doesn't get into stuff she's not old enough for," Sam pointed out as she looked over the purchase price which was just under fifteen thousand.
Alex nodded as he brought up a new search this time for butlers and maids, "Cyborg, human, or house elf?"
Sam looked confused until she turned to read the screen and saw that there were only three options for taking care of the house.
"Well, we're looking for someone to take care of the house so does it matter?"
"Not really but if we go with a Cyborg we'll have to add a station for them to rest and repair themselves, a human means adding an extra room and the house elf would need a larger house to keep themselves busy."
"What about adding a few more rooms and a large greenhouse and medium farm, that'll give a house elf or two plenty to keep them busy."
Alex smiled as he looked at her, "You want an elf or two?"
"Well we can get a human or Cyborg easily just by opening the door to a world while house elves are in the Harry Potter world and I'm not sure we want to go to those worlds both from their backward thinking or it may be right in the middle of that war when we popped in."
Alex nodded, "I'd not thought about going to any Harry Potter world if I can help it, yeah it's got some versatile magics I don't want to deal with the purebloods."
Sam pushed him to the side and opened a search for expanding the house, "Look here we can add four more rooms and two more bathrooms and a greenhouse that covers about ten acres for vegetables and fruits, there's also a farming addon that can handle a few cows pigs and a chicken coop for fresh eggs."
"Umm, you know the pantry and fridge refill so why get those?"
"Well to give the house elves the work plus the foods in the kitchen while filling tastes off so I'm thinking with fresh stuff over the stuff we get it'll all taste right," Sam said while adding a dairy section with two milk cows and a bull, each addition came with a refilling months of feeds for the animals.
"Fine we can get that stuff as long as I don't have to work with the animals, "Alex said while looking over what Sam had chosen.
Sam had finished setting up her choices, "Should we extend the hallway for the new rooms or put them above or below the existing ones?"
"Above the others, we won't need them yet so it is fine."
"Okay well that's done now we just have to buy everything and we can look at the elves, " Sam said hitting the buy tab the purchase price this time was half a million.
Alex shook his head with a smile as Sam pulled up the page for the house elves, "Look for a mated pair and see if they have a living area for them as well."
"Yeah, that's what I was thinking," she replied as she found a pair of elves that were able to work the fam sections as well as keep the house clean, "Here's a pair and the living quarters are part of the purchase we just have to pick the quality of the room."
"Go ahead and get the highest quality for them," Alex told her as he was looking over her shoulder, "Huh five thousand seems a bit low."
"Oh it's because the elves are almost overpopulating the place even with the companies buying up empty worlds and having the elves clean up the places or working worldwide farms the elf population is still high," Sam pointed out as she read an informative line under the house elf tab.
Alex read the information and nodded, "Yeah that'll do it," he said while tapping the purchase icon, "We're done here," He started until two small pops announced the arrival of the two elves.
They were dressed in pillowcases, "Hello Master and Mistress, I am Ash and this is my mate, Misty," the male elf introduced himself and the female.
"Hello you two, now I'm new to elves so at times I may say or do something that may be wrong, if I do let me know and I'll try not to, all I do know comes from the Harry Potter books, so let me know if they got something wrong in them."
"Well as you can hear we speak properly and we do not bond with people but the home, these are just temporary things we wear with our population so large it's easier and cheaper to wear these until we bond to a home and our masters give us proper clothing, " Misty explained as she plucked at her pillowcase.
Alex nodded then held up each hand and focused on the pattern for the morphic clothes, when they formed he held out one to each elf.
"These are clothes that will change to whatever you choose," he told them as each took one jumping slightly when they sank into their skin.
Ash's clothing formed into a butler's uniform while Misty became dressed in a maid's uniform, "Thank you, master," they said in unison.
Alex nodded then looked around his eyes falling on the omitool reminding him he needed to add a communications relay to the house, he quickly purchased it and walked to the ring that would return them to the house.
Sam and the elves followed him through the house, going up to the living room they found a new double door a few feet away from the kitchen door, poking her head in Sam announced it was the library.
Alex looked in and nodded, "They went all out with the expansions in here I figured it would be all digital," he said looking at the row upon row of books.
"Yeah, it's a bit big, I'll go check on setting the parental controls," Sam said as she spotted a panel on the wall next to the door.
Alex left her to it as he led the elves to the kitchen, "While the food is stocked regularly Sam has told me that the taste is off, we have a greenhouse and farm attachment, and I'm not sure how it works, I need you two to focus mostly on those two along with laundry and cooking our meals scenes the house has an automatic cleaning cycle every twelve hours."
The elves nodded looking around the kitchen and spotting a small door they opened it to find their living quarters, Alex bent over to see how it was set up, but all he could see was a sitting room with three doors leading to other rooms.
Misty went in to inspect the apartment opening the doors and nodding, "Two bedrooms and a bathroom," she said as she rejoined them.
"You should be able to adjust the food stocks, there is a control panel on the inside of the pantry door," Ash told Alex opening the door and showing a panel Alex had never noticed before.
Looking at the panel he noticed that he could have changed the quality of the food and drinks, he opened the menu and set the drinks to the best quality, and the same for the food for a month.
"Misty you can work this as well if the farm will take a while to produce food."
"The greenhouse is magical of sorts, the plants will be ready to harvest in a few days but we can store the fruits and vegetables in the provided storerooms," Ash told Alex as he stepped to another door that appeared in the kitchen.
"And the farm?"
"The animals that came with the farm are simi immortal but their offspring are not," Ash told them as he opened the door again this time to the farm and read a control panel.
Alex grinned, "Okay, I'll leave you guys to care for the farm animals if you can keep all usable parts, other than that I'm not sure what to tell you two other than to not overwork yourselves."
The elves nodded then popped away to get to work on the things they needed to do, while Alex went to the library and found Sam, Kira, and Karen sitting at a table with many books spread around them.
"Well the elves are working and Ash showed me a control panel in the kitchen I didn't know was there to select the quality of food, it was set on the basic but I set it to give us the best quality for now until the greenhouse and farm produce enough."
Sam looked up from the book she was reading, "Huh I never thought to look for something like that."
"Yeah neither did I," Alex said with a sheepish grin.
"Daddy looks mommy gives me books to read," Karen happily squealed holding up a picture book.
"That's great sweetie, be sure to keep up with your reading and grow super smart like mommy," he told her while patting her head with a smile.
"I will be the smartest," Karen chirped out then went back to her book.
Kira watched this with a smile as she set aside her book, "What are the elves like, I've read the books here," she pointed to the first three Harry Potter books on the table.
"Their names are Ash and Misty, they're not much like the ones in the books at all for one they talk normally and can wear clothes given to them by us as they bind to the house, not the people."
Alex sat beside Sam took a book from the pile nearest her and opened it to find it was an engineering book.
"I'm thinking about trying to go to a mostly normal Earth next, I remember it from a movie I watched just before I got these powers," Alex announced after seeing the theoretical possibilities of drilling deep into the Earth's mantel for harvesting pockets of gasses and geothermal power.
"If it's a normal Earth why do you want to go there?" Sam asked looking up from her book on solar panels and possible energy transfer methods.
"If I remember right something happened to the core of the Earth and a group funded by several governments built a kind of ship that made it to the core where they used nuclear bombs to get the core working right."
"But the pressure that far down would crush anything like styrofoam," Sam said while doing the math in her head.
"Yeah I know, in the movie one of the people came up with a material that gets stronger the more pressure it is put under, it also converts some of the pressure into energy," Alex told them as he paged through the book.
"That sounds amazing if we can get that stuff we could use it somehow to make ships or power the SGC and cut their budget down, I would imagine that opening the Stargate requires a lot of power to open each time they dial out."
"Yeah that's one of my plans to use it for plus it can be used as shielding for reactors and such adding to the power generation," Alex pointed out while looking over to see that Karen had changed her book for a new one.
"Well let's go as soon as we can," Sam nearly demanded.
Alex nodded, "We'll sleep on it tonight and go in the morning after breakfast I want to make sure I find the right world then go back about a month or so before the military talk to the man who invented the metal and help him get the ship built or mostly built and add a few extra cars to it and a secondary system for power."
Sam nodded then looked off into nothing for a few minutes, "What about going back further say six months, and getting the scans and funding the man to speed up his building the ship faster?"
Alex nodded as he thought about it, " We could do that we don't have to stay there for long, we could build him a better lab and workplace."
Kira tried to follow the conversation but had not seen nor read any movies or books about the core of the Earth being messed up.
"Umm if you're going to go there what will I be doing?" Kira asked during a lull in their talks about building a planetary power grid using the metal Alex called unobtanium.
Alex and Sam looked at one another, "That's up to you, you can stay in the house or go around the world and just be a normal person," Alex told her as Sam nodded.
"What bout me, can I go exploring?" Karen asked.
"No, you're going to stay with Daddy and me," Sam told the tyke.
"And no powers, " Alex told both Kira and Karen.
"No powers?" Kira asked.
"Yeah the world is a place where people don't have any of the powers you are used to seeing from your world, " Alex told them.
After that, they sat around for an hour or so making plans until Misty popped into the library to announce that dinner was on the table, they continued to talk and plan as they ate, and when they finished eating they all got ready for bed so they could wake early to move on to the next world.
