AN: Hello one and all! I so excited! Wanna know why? TODAY'S THE DAY! THEY'RE GETTIN' MARRIED! They're gettin' married! *dances around the room*

Mrs. Jasper Lee Whitlock

Day 14

It was my last day. I went home tonight. I don't know when. I was also getting married this evening. It was still super early and I hadn't heard anyone get up. I couldn't make myself go back to sleep either. This was going to be the longest day of my life. I sat in my window seat writing in my journal and watching the first bits of light come on the horizon.

I heard movement in the house. I blew out the candle and waited. Someone's feet walked quietly up to my door and stopped.

"Isabella?" Piper jumped awake and her tail started wagging. Jasper was up and at my door. I got up and Piper yipped. I shushed her as I walked by. I laid my hands on the door. My face was inches from the door.

"Yes?" I whispered.

"I'm heading out to now to go get Papa's family. Do you want me to take Piper with me?" he asked.

"Do you want go with Daddy?" I whispered looking at her. Her ears perked up but she stayed on the bed, partially underneath the blanket. "I think she wants to stay with me. When will you be back?" I asked.

"I'll be back this afternoon, a couple hours before the wedding. I'll be about to finish getting things ready and get dressed for the wedding." he paused. "I know it's considered bad luck, but this isn't an arranged marriage. I can't leave without kissin' you goodbye." He said.

"Jasper, your mama would be furious." I said.

"She doesn't have to know." He said.

"Promise to keep your eyes closed. We won't be breaking tradition, then." I said. I heard him sigh.

"I promise." He said. I cracked the door open to make sure his eyes were closed. He was so handsome. As promised, his eyes were closed. I pulled the door open and stepped close to him. I covered his eyes with my hand.

"Hello, beautiful." He said.

"Hello." I whispered. I uncovered his eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck the stretch hurt but I ignored it. I hugged him as tightly as I could. His arms wrapped around my waist gently and he picked me up. This was exactly where I wanted to be, always. We fit together so perfectly. I sighed and hugged him a little tighter.

"Tell me if I ever hurt you." he kissed my shoulder and set me down. I covered his eyes again when I pulled away.

"I will. I love you." I reached up on my tippy toes to kiss him. His hand cupped my face and he kissed me back. I pulled away. "Be safe." I said.

"I love you more. And I will. I'll see you at the wedding." he said.

"I'll be the one in white." I said and disappeared behind my door again. He laughed. And I heard him walk away. I threw myself on to the bed, piper wiggled her way next to me and laid down with me.

I guess at some point I dozed off again because then the next thing I know Beth was waking me up.

"Come on! Up! Up! Up! We have much to do for the wedding today! Get dressed!" she said, gleefully.

She hurried out of the room and Piper followed excitedly. I got up and dressed in work clothes. We had a lot to do before we could even start on wedding things. When I got down stairs, Beth and I were immediately sent out to help Jesse feed the animals, so we could get done faster.

After, Jesse went to straight to the field with a packed lunch for his father and himself and Elizabeth and I were sent to pick wild flowers for the wedding. We found the most beautiful flowers in all colors.

"I'll go get the lavender and green for us and you get a little of everything. I want the bouquets to be as colorful as possible." I said. She nodded and picked up a flower basket and skipped off. I started my search for the little green and purple flowers I had seen the other day.

"Bella these are so pretty! I can't wait to see how they all look together." Beth said.

"Me either." I said, looking over at the different colors she had. I found a few different spots with the colors I wanted and picked as many as I could. It didn't take long to finish and we were on our way back to the house.

We had two baskets overflowing with flowers and one with only purple and green flowers in it. Mary Elizabeth was working diligently to get the boys suits clean and looking nice.

"It's been so long since they've worn them. These old things have been in a dusty old trunk." She said not looking up from her work.

"I'm sure they'll all look handsome no matter what." I said. "I'm going to start on bouquets."

I picked up the wild flowers and headed toward my room. I found some twine and scissors as well and set everything on the floor. I began working on the flowers for Jasper, Jesse, and James. I was wrapping twine around a finished boutonniere, when Beth appeared at the door.

"Want some help?" she asked.

"Sure." She sat down. "I want to make flower circlets. Three of them. One for you, one for Mary Elizabeth, and one for me at the bonfire. But I want to add some white flowers to the green and purple."

"I can do that. I have a lot of left over ivory ribbon we can use too." She said getting up and running off. I tied off the twine when she returned. I stuck a pin in it and set it down. It was already getting close to lunch I was hungry but too nervous to eat.

I touched the ribbon.

"Oh Beth, this is perfect! You can make the circlets with this and they could all have long ties. It will be so beautiful!" I said.

She cut the ribbon to fit each of our heads and began intricately braiding flowers together with it. I finished the other two boutonnieres by the time she was almost done with the first one. I started on the bouquets, splitting up the wildflowers almost equally. My bouquet was a little bigger. I picked up the bigger pile and started to arrange them to spread the colors out and make it look better. I wrapped the twine around the stems thickly and orderly and then tied it off.

"What do you think?" I asked, holding it out.

"It's beautiful. What about these?" She handed me two finished circlets. They were perfect.

"I love them!" I said.

I picked up the rest of the flowers and began to fix them up as well.

"You girls want something to eat?" Mary Elizabeth stood in the doorway.

"I'm almost done, Mama. Then I'll come eat." Elizabeth said.

"What about you, Isabella?" she asked. I held up the flowers.

"I'm too nervous to eat but I suppose I should try to eat something." I said. "I'll finish up with Elizabeth and we'll come down."

"You shouldn't feel nervous. Everything is gonna go just fine." She said and left.

We both went back to concentrating on our tasks. In what seemed like no time we were finished and headed downstairs again. Mable handed us a plate of sandwiches and we sat down and started eating.

"Bella when you get done eating, I want you to have Minnie get your bath ready and get all nice and cleaned up." Mary Elizabeth said as she passed through with James and Jesse. The men were carrying a number of things for the wedding set up and looked worn out. I felt a twinge of guilt.

"Yes Ma'am." I said. When she was safely out of earshot, Elizabeth and I had a giggle fit. I asked Minnie to get my bath ready and as I was finishing up and she smiled warmly.

"Just like the first day I met you." she said and left.

I picked up my plate and cup and took them to the sink for Mable to do.

"Are you ready for tonight?" Beth asked me, putting her plate on top of mine.

"Of course I'm ready. But," I paused, turned around and leaned against the sink. "What if he doesn't like my dress? What if he decides to leave me at the altar?" I was making up scenarios because I was so nervous. He was my everything.

"Oh Bella, don't you dare think about that. Lord knows he wouldn't do that to you. He loves you too much." She said. I sighed and shook my arms out and brushed off the nervousness.

"You're right. You're absolutely right, he couldn't do that to me." I said.

"See? You're alright." She told me.

"Yeah," I said with a small smile. My smile vanished. "But, what if he does?" I deadpanned.

"Girl get your rear upstairs and get cleaned up and if I hear anymore of these "What if's" I'll cover you with gravy and set Piper on you." she said.

. . .

I soaked for a while in my hot bath water and just let the heat seep into my bones. When the water had cooled to just warm I scrubbed my skin as well as I could without hurting myself. I cleaned my newly short hair and got out.

"Are you getting out of the bath, Dear?" I heard Mary Elizabeth.

"As we speak." I called.

"Well get yourself dry and put a robe on so I can put curlers in your hair." she said. "And make haste Jasper will be home in an hour or so."

So soon? Where had the time gone? I quickly dried myself off and pulled on the house robe and called for Mary Elizabeth.

"You'll make the most beautiful bride yet." She said running her hands through my hair. She worked fast rolling heavy rollers into my hair and pinning them. They were uncomfortable but I could handle it. When she was done she wrapped a hair net tightly around my head taking some of the weight off of my hair follicles. "Alright, leave those in and when your hair is all dry we'll take them out as finish fixin' you up."

"What should I do until then?" I asked.

"I would suggest some rest. A bit of reading or writing. Pray. Do whatever it is that will calm those antsy nerves of yours." She said disappearing behind the door and closing it.

I went to the window and opened it. I closed the white gauzy curtains and enjoyed the fresh air in the room. I noticed Piper outside getting a bath from a slave.

"When she's dry you can bring her up to my room. Thank you." I called down to him. He looked up and nodded. I laid on the bed and must have dozed a bit because the next thing I know I'm being bombarded by my sweet smelling fur baby. She was all puppy smiles and cheer. I scratched her ears and sat up. I touched my hair. It was dry now. I wondered how it would look; so short and curled.

"Let's go find Mary Elizabeth." I said to Piper.

Piper led me down the stairs and as I turned the corner I nearly knocked over Elizabeth.

"Oof! Bella! You are going to love it when you see it! We just finished setting up! Well, everything we could set up. Jasper will have to finish up." She said.

"Well then let's go see it!" I said.

"Oh no you don't." Mary Elizabeth said coming in the room.

"Why not?" I asked. Piper sat on my toes and cocked her head to the said as if asking the same question.

"You need to get straight in the bath and get cleaned up," she pointed her finger at Beth. "You need to stay clean until the wedding so you little missy are staying inside." She directed towards Piper. "As for you Isabella, Jasper is headed up the drive now so you are confined to your room until the the wedding or he is sure to stay outside. Now let's go fix your hair and get you all made up." She said turning me around and hurrying me upstairs.

"Okay." I said I heard Piper's nails clicking up the stairs behind us. When we got to my room Mary Elizabeth sat me down and began taking the curlers out one at a time and smoothing each curl.

She combed each curl and placed them exactly where she wanted them. "You go ahead and put on some powder and lip color and make sure you get it all over evenly. I'm going to go get a bath. I'll send Beth in here when she's done with her bath to help.

After all of us had bathed I helped Beth in to her dress and got her all ready to stand with me. Jasper, Jesse, and James came in an hour or so ago to get cleaned up and dressed. They were already outside getting in place. All that was left was my dress.

"Your turn." Beth said.

I picked my dress up and held it out. "I'm nervous." I hugged the dress to me. "But, I'm so ready."

"Good." She said. I shrugged out of my dressing gown and carefully pulled the dress on with Beth's help.

We were getting it in place when Mary Elizabeth came in.

"The preacher's here. Are you ready?" she asked. "Oh Isabella. You look beautiful."

"Thank you. I just need my hat. Will you help me?" I asked. She adjusted my hair and pulled the hat out of the box. She fixed the hat on my head and placed the veils carefully.

"Perfect!" she said.

"Wait." Beth picked up the bouquets and handed mine to me. "Now it's perfect."

"Let's go get married." I said. I followed Mary Elizabeth and Beth downstairs carefully. As clumsy as I was knew if I wasn't cautious I would fall and hurt myself even more. We reached the back door and Mary Elizabeth stopped Elizabeth and I.

"When I get out there, Elizabeth will lead and Isabella, you'll count to ten and then go. Okay?" she said. She took my hands and squeezed them. "A few more minutes and we'll share the same last name."

I smiled. Hearing that gave me the best feeling in the world. She let go and turned swiftly to leave. Beth took my hand and squeezed.

A few seconds later, Beth took off after her mother and I started counting.

1

This is it.

2

There he is. I can just barely see him.

3

He hasn't seen me. He's speaking to his brother.

4

They've seen Elizabeth. Jasper's smile is wide.

5

She's half way there.

6

I can tell Jasper is looking for me.

7

He's subtly trying to crane his neck for a better view.

.

8

Almost time. It seems like an eternity since I started counting.

.

.

9

Deep breath.

10

I stepped out of the house in what seemed like slow motion. I kept my head down, my eyes on the ground in front of my feet. I heard an intake of breath. I peaked up from underneath my hat.

Jasper is bent slightly at the waist and covering his mouth with one hand. The other hand is on his chest like he's trying to slow his beating heart. I fully looked up and let him glimpse my face through the vale. I smiled at his expression. He was so handsome. His hair hung free. It was clean and swayed freely with the slight breeze. His nicest suit fit him perfectly. It really showed off his hard body.

Before I knew it I was standing in front of him and all I could think about was how much I wanted this. I never wanted this day to end because, at the end of the day I knew I had to go back and I had no idea what to expect.

No! You're at your wedding. Stop thinking about that!

"Who gives this woman to marry this man?" the preacher asked. That snapped me out of my haze.

"I do. She came to us with no memory of a previous family and still has no memory." James spoke up. I was flooded by warming love when he finished. I was part of this family.

"Very well. Matrimony. Marriage is what brings us here, to the humble home of James and Mary Elizabeth Whitlock. We are here to unite Jasper Lee Whitlock and Isabella Marie in a union to be blessed by our Lord."

Out of the corner of my eye I saw something glittering. I looked and they weren't glittering, they were hidden from the setting sun in the shade of the house. James and Victoria made it without the notice of anyone but me.

"If there is anyone in attendance that believes these two young people shouldn't be married, I ask that the party speak now of forever hold their peace." He paused. I looked back into the eyes of the man I would soon share a name with.

"I love you" he mouthed at me. I smiled and looked down. I peaked up again.

"Today truly is a glorious day the Lord hath made – as today both of you are blessed with God's greatest of all gifts – the gift of abiding love and devotion between a man and a woman. All present here today – and those here in heart – wish both of you all the joy, happiness and success and the world has to offer.

"You please join hands?" I took Jasper's outstretched hands. "Jasper, do you take Isabella to be your wife? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish, and protect her, forsaking all others and holding only to her forevermore?"

Jasper looked directly into my eyes and squeezed my hands just a little and said, "I do."

I couldn't help my smile.

"Isabella, do you take Jasper to be your husband? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish and protect him, forsaking all others and holding only to him forevermore?" I looked from the preacher to Jasper.

"I do. I absolutely do."

"I'll be reading from First Corinthians, chapter thirteen verses four through eight. 'Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.'

"Do you have rings?" he asked. Earlier that morning, Mary Elizabeth had Minnie shine my ring and I never got it back. I looked at Mary Elizabeth and she reached into her pocket and handed me a thick solid gold band and Jasper my ring and a thin band to match.

"Jasper if you'll repeat after me. I, Jasper," he started.

"I, Jasper," My love had his signature half smile on and had eyes only for me.

"Do so take thee, Isabella, to be my wife." the preacher continued.

"Do so take thee, Isabella, to be my wife." he repeated.

"To have and to hold."

"To have and to hold."

"In sickness and in health."

"In sickness and in heath."

"For richer or for poorer."

"For richer or for poorer."

"I promise to love you forevermore."

"Isabella, I promise to love you forevermore." Jasper finished. He slipped the rings on, engagement first then wedding band. "I used what I had left to get you a proper wedding band." He told me.

My eyes began to water a little bit.

"Isabella," the preacher said. "Will you repeat after me? I, Isabella,"

"I, Isabella," I choked out with a shaky voice.

"Do so take thee, Jasper, to be my husband." He said.

"Do so take thee, Jasper, to be my husband."

"To have and to hold."

"To have and to hold." So close.

"In sickness and in health."

"In sickness and in health." I have no idea how I'm not jumping up and down.

"For richer or for poorer."

"For richer or for poorer."

"I promise to love you forevermore."

"I promise to love you forevermore, Jasper." I finished. I pushed the ring onto Jasper's finger and squeezed his hand.

"Jasper and Isabella, in the exchange of these vows and rings, you have declared your love for each other and vowed to belong to each other and no one else. By the power vested in me by God and in the presence of all these witnesses, I now pronounce you husband and wife. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Congratulations, you may now kiss the bride."

Jasper took the vale in hand and lifted it over my head. He let go and took my face in his hands. He kissed me with more passion than I had ever felt. I took his waist in my hands and pulled him close to me. He pulled back never letting my face go.

"You look beautiful, by the way." he whispered to that only I could hear.

"I take great pleasure in announcing Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Lee Whitlock."

I couldn't hold it in anymore. I jumped up and down. I turned around to Elizabeth and hugged her hard.

"Isabella, I'm so happy right now." Mary Elizabeth said pulling me into another hug. I realized Jasper had been tugged away by his family and was being congratulated.

"You two go on inside and get comfortable; we're gonna get the bonfire goin' and have Mable set the food out." Mary Elizabeth said. She pushed me towards Jasper.

I bumped into him and took his hand. I rested my other hand around his bicep and half hid behind him. He was talking with his father's family.

"Ah and here she is the beautiful bride herself. Welcome to the family my dear!"

"You're very kind." I said, looking up at Jasper. "We've been given instructions by your mother."

"She's your mother now, too, darling. But, if we've been given instructions we should definitely obey them. Don't you think?" he said turning to his aunt and uncle.

"Certainly! You wouldn't want to mess with Mary Elizabeth." His uncle replied with a boisterous laugh.

"We'll be back out soon." I said, "Oh, I was lovely to meet you…" No one ever to me their names. Oh God. Oh God Oh God Oh God Oh God!

"Jackson Whitlock, Isabella. This is my wife Lorraine. I apologize for not introducing myself sooner." He said.

"That's quite alright." Jasper and I turned to leave. I spotted Mary Elizabeth talking with Mable. "Oh, Mary Elizabeth! I forgot to tell you I have a couple friends from town coming. They couldn't make it for the ceremony unfortunately so they should be here soon."

"Wonderful dear, you two go on inside now." she said and went right back to her conversation.

I looked up at the love of my life and he was smiling back down at me. I smiled.

"Come on, Darlin'. I want to get out of at least part of this monkey suit." He chuckled and escorted me to the house.

"I think you look amazing." I said. I grabbed the hand of the arm I was holding and kissed it. I loved the feel of his rough skin on my lips.

"Thank you ma'am." He opened the door for me. "But, I am just a speck in painting compared to you my love." He stepped in after me and picked me up, spun me around, and set me back down. He pulled me close and I put my hands on his chest.

"You look stunning. Beautiful, gorgeous, wonderful, magnificent, marvelous, perfect. Any word I could possibly think of wouldn't do the way you look tonight justice." He told me.

He rested his forehead against mine.

"You spoil me sir." I said.

"It's my job," he said quietly. "Mrs. Whitlock." He kissed my nose.

"Mr. Whitlock." He slowly let our faces drift closer. Our eyes fluttered closed and I could feel his warm breath on my face. Our lips were milliseconds apart.

"We should get ready to go back outside." I smiled. He let out a frustrated laugh.

"I'll get you for this later." He said. He followed me upstairs and disappeared into his room.

I rushed into my room and took the hat of and fluffed my hair. I fixed my lips and headed back downstairs.

Jasper was waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs, facing away from me. I got about halfway down before her heard me and turned around.

He had taken off his jacket and rolled his sleeves up. He'd had his nice cowboy hat in his hand and he wore the biggest smile I had ever seen on him. I got to the second to last step and fell into his arms. His arms were wrapped around my tender waist, it hurt a little but I was too happy to care. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him.

"I have never been happier." I said. He set me down and stroked my face with his thumb.

"You have no idea, my darling." He said. "Our guests are waiting." He turned and offered me his arm. I took it and we went back outside.

"Here they are! The happy couple!" Jasper's aunt Lorraine said. James and Victoria stood close by but far enough away that no one noticed much of a difference. I caught a glimpse of their eyes in the fire light. They were bright gold, fresh from a hunt.

I was engulfed in hugs again. I felt the familiar icy embrace of a vampire. Victoria gave me a squeeze then James, both careful not to hurt me.

"You looked beautiful. I'm happy you've found your mate." Victoria whispered.

"Jasper! You've finally done it! You've taken a wife. How do you feel?" James said, shaking Jasper's hand.

"I'm the happiest man in the Confederate States and the United States combined." Jasper said. He wrapped one arm around my waist and pulled me close.

"Well your beautiful bride could rival only mine." James kissed my knuckles. "Have you met Victoria, Jasper?"

"Only in passin'. Jasper Whitlock ma'am. It's a pleasure to meet you." he said tipping his hat toward Victoria. "I hope you enjoy Mable's cooking. I don't know what Isabella and I will do without her."

"Oh, my sister and her family are in town that's why we were late. She cooked supper for us. But, if Mable is as good as we've heard we'll have to at least sample." Victoria said.

Jasper and I nodded in parting to go speak with other people. Before Jasper pulled me away I whispered to James, "Slip it to, Piper. Don't kill my dog."

"Did you say something, my love?" Jasper asked.

"Nothing important just talking to myself." I waved him off.

The rest of the evening was spent laughing and telling stories about the adventures my family has had since I came to Texas. We ate until we couldn't anymore. I didn't think my corset could get any tighter. Jasper's aunt and uncle we disgusted to hear what happened with Gideon McCaven, James and Victoria feigned shock.

Piper was sleeping next to the bonfire, which was almost gone now, with a full belly and twitching feet. She was my little dreamer.

"It's getting late, I think it's about time for us to head home." Jasper said stretching. "Thank you all for celebrating the most important day in my life with me. But, Isabella and I must be going." Jasper helped me up and I was engulfed in about the millionth round of hugs tonight. Jesse and Beth left and returned soon after with October and Pistol.

I hugged Jesse which is honestly the closest he and I had really been. Jesse was a wonderful boy but he was very introverted. Beth handed me the reins, I hugged her tight and pulled away.

"Can you watch Piper tonight?" I asked. "I need some time with Jasper alone before he takes off again tomorrow."

"Oh absolutely! I love Piper." She said.

"I'll come back for her tomorrow morning." I said, it was hard to lie to her. "Just take her inside and distract her she won't notice we're gone until it's too late."

"Okay! I'll see you tomorrow, Bella!" she said running off with Piper. Jasper followed me around October to help me on.

"What was that about?" he asked, pushing me up onto the mare. He ran around and pulled himself up onto Pistol.

"I wanted some alone time with you before you left, I figured you might too." I said.

"Smart girl." He said thoughtfully.

"Y'all be safe now, ya hear? Jasper you come back to us safe." Mary Elizabeth said.

"We will, Mama." Jasper said. "Goodnight."

"Isabella I'll be checkin' on you tomorrow if I don't see you." James said.

"Thank you, sir." I said.

"None of that now. It's Papa to you now. Goodnight kids."

"Goodnight Mama and Papa." Jasper said.

Jasper and I rode back in silence. It wasn't and awkward silence it was a comfortable one. We got back to our house and I tried to help Jasper with the horses.

"I've got this, dear. You go on inside. Get ready for bed I'll be in a few minutes." He said, kissed my nose and sent me inside.

I got out of my dress on my own somehow and pulled the strings of my corset. I felt him come up behind me and his hands slide around my waist. His other hand loosened my corset. I took a deep painful breathe as he pulled it away from me. My hand covered his when a pain cause by deep breathes shot through my ribs. My breath caught.

"Are you alright?" he whispered.

"Just adjusting to not having the corset on." I assured him.

"Tell me if you're in pain." he kissed my neck. "I'll stop."

"Don't stop." My head fell back against his chest. He wrapped his arms around me full and breathed me in. His hands traveled my body not daring to travel farther than I let him. I turned in his arms and kissed him. My hands fumbled with his vest buttons, finally getting them undone and pushed the vest off. We separated long enough to get our boots and socks off and we were together again. What started so slow had evolved to a frenzy of hands and lips on bare skin. Soon he was in only his trousers and his body was asking permission to see mine.

I shrugged out of my undergarments. He looked me over and swallowed.

"You're…" he started, taking my hand I stepped toward him and he stopped me. "Extraordinary."

"You don't have to sugar coat it." I said. "I know the bruises are ugly." His fingers traced the same bruise I was tracing last night.

"I'm not happy about the bruises by any means but, Baby, wow!" he said. He leaned in to kiss me his hand on my jaw. It drifted down and his thumb brushed my pert nipple. I gasped, he hesitated only for a breath. His hand continued down my side and around to my behind. His hand splayed out and squeezed just a little.

"Isabella, I love you but, I don't think I can wait anymore." His gravelly voice was laced heavily with lust.

He picked me up and put me on the bed, placing himself between my legs. I felt all of his need against my feminine heat. It took all I had to regain the breath he's just stolen from me.

"Then don't." I whispered in his ear. He drew back and quickly removed his pants, I moved myself onto the bed properly. Jasper stood next to the bed watching me. I let myself peak at his, ahem, sizable manhood.

Jasper climbed onto the bed and onto me. I pulled his head closer to mine and kissed him hard.

"Promise me," he paused. "You won't let me hurt you." I tried to pull him closer, but he was solid.

"Jasper, please." I begged.

"Promise me!" he said. I took his head in my hands and looked deep into his eyes.

"I promise."

He positioned himself at my entrance. It was exciting feeling him there. So close.

"I love you." he said. "More than life." Then he slid slowly into me.

I was sore. But it was everything and more of what I had imagined. I was the little spoon to Jasper's bigger spoon and I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else.

"I'll love you forever, Jasper. No matter what might happen to you. As long as you promise to come back for me." I said.

"I will always come back for you. Nothing will ever stop me from getting back to you." he said. "Get some rest my love."
