Arc 1: City of Perfection

#1: Future Towards

Lord of Chaos is the villain of the SEVENS book - a story that is central to the finale of Sevens. With how much it means to Yuga, it would be fitting for the final villain beyond The Creator (whom should be defeated at the end of Go Rush) to be Lord of Chaos? Yuga, Yuna, Yuhi, Yuamu and Damamu have settled on their adventure to cause a time paradox that would allow the cats to return to the past, but also to defeat this menacing villain. But who is he? And what's wrong with Rovian? Let's find out when the characters arrive at the future! This is the beginning of Sevens Rush - a crossover fanfiction between Sevens and Go Rush characters uniting to face the greatest threat ever!

#2: Eclipse of Hope and Despair

Yuga and everyone has arrived at the future. There's a new character - Setsuko Saionji, who is the lead card designer of Goha (Filling in Otes' place). She used to be a lost kid until the Saionji family adopted her when she's young, and apparently for her "the world is boring and dull" and that she lacks "fulfillment" in her life. She is obsessed with the idea of perfection, but what is perfection for her? What's the relationship between her and Nanaho? What's Nanaho scheming for the last two years?

#3: Nemesis

Nail has a talk with Yuhi and Yuamu about... Everything, really. The Relic is seemingly gone (after the fated Duel with Otes) so there is no worries about being carded. Yuhi reveals that the existence of Maximum predates Nail's creation of Maximum itself, and Nail is curious about it enough that he wants to Duel Yuhi again. He seems to be more opened up to others now. Yuamu reveals the prime era of Mutsuba, which is the era they come from, however the fallen from grace of Mutsuba is a cruel twist to her. Meanwhile, Yuga visits Asana's store for his gears, and he runs away too quickly to hear what Asana wants to talk to him. Yuga meets Setsuko and they decide to have a Duel to understand each other. Unbeknownst to Yuga, the Duel may have been one of the most traumatizing one yet with the law-defying Maximum Monster - Nidhoggr and Setsuko's psychological tricks against him and Asana, whom catches up on Yuga to spend more time with him. In the end, Asana decides to hold off her talk until another day, and Setsuko declares her grudge towards Asana after completely destroys Yuga in the Duel. What will happen next, and what's the deal with Setsuko's unknown card?

#4: Turmoil

Yuga's feeling quite tired. He has to answer the media about his life during the two years he went missing, the arrival of people from the past, and many more. But also, Yuga also feels the pressure of going through adolescence: the sense of fear for not spending enough time doing what you like, being afraid of the future ahead because there are many more things you want to achieve, yet time is limited. Just a few years later, Yuga would also be an adult. If then, would his passion for Dueling fade away? Would he still have time to have fun with his friends? If Yuga's worries for not talking to his friends as much as he should start to catch up to him, there's also the fact that Yuga does understand Otes. It's just that he cannot say that to anyone. And also, he wants to spend more time with the people of Mutsuba Town. Yuga deserves to enjoy his life with the new friends he meet... There are too much to say, and too little room to express. That's the turmoil Yuga has to go through. Will he manage to resolve the turmoil in his heart? How will Yuga fare against Setsuko's terrifying Nidhoggr this time? Would Asana be able to help Yuga find his resolve like with Yuna's presence? Why did Setsuko express such a negative sentiment towards Asana back then?

#5: Feeling Feverish

The depth of Setsuko's disdain for Yuga and the current state of Rush Duel unveils. She doesn't look for a Duel format that kids mainly play, what she longs for is a universally played format, and it's a shame that Yuga can't attain the perfection in Setsuko's vision. The stress Yuga has to endure throughout the Duel is taking its toll on his health, and in the end he cannot win the rematch against Setsuko. Disappointed by Yuga's abyssmal performance, Setsuko decides to entertain herself by challenging Yuka privately.

#6: Approaching Darkness

The surprise of Transcend Summoning has been revealed. It's Goha Siblings' attempt in revitalizing the fun of Dueling while Yuga was not around. To go beyond his expectations and make more children smile, that's exactly what Yuga wants from them. Although, Setsuko has another trick up her sleeve. Even Yuo doesn't know about its existence, and he is forced to succumb to Setsuko's Dueling. Meanwhile, Yuga is feeling unwell from the fever, though he is visited and taken care of by his friends from the past and from the present. Asana is still feeling conflicted about Yuga and what Setsuko said to her. Would Asana be able to solve her turmoil soon? Nanaho has also starting to make a move too. For what reason does she need to open the door of secrets in the Garden of Providence? Is Yuga right in saying that the place may be a part of Val-Valvelgear, a spaceship that should belong in the past? How does Nail manage to get there before Yuga and why does he seek the knowledge inside the control room? Those questions will be solved throughout the Duel between Nail and Nanaho.

#7: Doubts and Remorse

Nail does defeat Nanaho, but it's a narrow and close victory. If not for Compulsory Evacuation Device, Nanaho's Karmalefi would certainly bring Nail to his defeat. In the meantime, Yuo has started to make educated guesses on Setsuko's schemes, and his judgment is spot-on - Setsuko simply uses the gap that Yuga leaves in the code like how Nail used it to implement Maximum Summon (Yuga himself says that he usually leaves a gap for future implementation of a new mechanic, so it wouldn't be plausible to say he also leaves a gap in the re-introduction of Rush Duel). Though, how can Setsuko pull off the perfect timing to fill in the gap in such a short period between Yuga's return and the celebration of the revival of Rush Duel? Regarding Nanaho's kidnapping of Yuga, turns out it wasn't for nothing because Yuga manages to stop the spaceship from heading off and causing troubles to Goha City. But... Nail doesn't have anything special like Yudias, so why does the spaceship start to activate after his Duel has finished? Is it because of the use of Vanishing Hellical Riser - a curiosity from Nail, or because Nail does indeed have something special in him? And why is Nanaho being gentle with Yuga? Is it a ruse to lower his guard, or...?

#8: Burst of Radiance

Asana comes to her family's gravestone outside her usual schedule. She has been losing sleep from thinking about Yuga using Otes' cards and the grim reality of Mutsuba. Yuga should know the cause for Mutsuba's downfall, but he could have followed Otes' footsteps during the last two years. On ther other side of the world, Nanaho visits Yuga to bring him to an amusement park so he can feel better. Yuna is skeptical about the request, but she settles on trusting Nanaho because she needs to go with Yuhi and Yuamu to Goha 8th. Luckily, her encounter with Yuga's friends in the present is an experience she wouldn't trade for anything.

#9: Prideful Road

Yuga meets Asana at the gravestone. Nanaho expects anger and sadness, but on the contrary, the two kindred souls decide to settle their dispute by Dueling. With the bet of revealing Yuga's thoughts about Otes, Asana shows no mercy in her plays, but Yuga also puts his pride in every move he makes. Meanwhile, Setsuko pays Yuna a visit to ask her for a friendly Duel. Suspicious at first, Yuna accepts the challenge after hearing Setsuko's unforgivable insults to her, Yuga and Asana. Before the Duel between Setsuko and Yuna commences, an unexpected lady appears at the top of Goha Tower to put an end to everything between her and Setsuko!

#10: Fabulous Destruction

Yuna shows up late because of her preparation, but Setsuko doesn't mind because she just had some "boring" warm-up Duels. Seeing how nonchalant and unserious Setsuko is to every of her opponents, Yuna's anger soon becomes hatred, discarding any thoughts of ever connecting with Setsuko like Yuga would have done. Everyone in the world is watching the Duel between the merciless talent and the founder of the prestigious Goha Corporation, and with that, the first and probably final battle of these prodigies starts.

#11: Quintessential Rainbow

Setsuko's strength lies in her absolute perfection in strategies. Her Dueling leaves no room for any acknowledgement of Yuna's strategy, Yuna's words and Yuna's existence. Still, Yuna is doing well on her own, even pushing Setsuko to the brink of defeat. But can she hold on any longer against Setsuko's final trump card, alongside her unknown...?
