Kain stared down at the sleeping blonde before raising his leg. Lucy's eyes cracked open and then went wide as she rolled out of the way, screaming. "Who are you? What's happening?" The large man merely turned and glared at her. 'Is He one of the Seven Kin of Purgatory?'

The blonde gasped as she realized that her partner was missing. "Where's Cana? What did you do to her?"

"Don't look at me." He replied.

"Tell me what you did to her right now!" She demanded.

"If I were you, I wouldn't worry about your friend." Kain said back. "Because you aren't going to see her ever again."

'Okay, why was I just sleeping?' The blonde asked herself. 'Where did Cana go? Is she dealing with one of these guys as well? I need to take this guy down fast and go look for her.'

She glared at the large man and he jumped back behind a tree. "Y-you know that glare isn't gonna help you." He said. "I'm a member of the Seven Kin of Purgatory, Kain Hikaru. I'm stronger then you."

"Like that matters to me." Lucy said back. "If you think you can take down Fairy Tail, then you're my enemy."

"Uh... Hold on one second." He said as she stepped out from the tree. "I just have one question... can you remind me what this thing on my head is?"

"You mean your hair?" She asked, making him point at her. "Why do I always get the weirdos?"

Kain reached into his cape and began searching for something. "You are gonna get it now. Get ready to face my Witchy Dolly Curse Magic." He pulled out a tiny rag doll and freaked Lucy out. "Now... do you mind giving me a strand of your hair?" Lucy tilted her head in confusion. "Look, I need your hair for this to work so just give it to me." He said stepping forward.

"Then why would I give it to you?" She asked.

"Just one strand of your hair and Mr. Cursey will be able to control your body for me." He explained.

"Why would I give it to you now?" Lucy asked, making Kain gasp. "Did that just occur to you? Anyway, that kind of magic doesn't really exist. Nice try, pudgy."

Kain stared at her before scratching his head in anger. He then plucked a strand out and stuck it into the doll. "If you think that's true then let's try it for yourself. Go ahead." He handed the doll to her and she stared at it. "See, you feel the power in you?" Lucy flung the doll into the ground, making Kain do the same.

She laughed before torturing the big man in poses he shouldn't be able to do. "Thats it!" Kain shouted as he launched forward and grabbed his doll. "Now I'm mad! So just forget about trying to ask me out."

"Why would I do that?" Lucy asked before racing away from the large man as he took down trees with every step. "Okay, this is has gone one for far too long! Open, Gate of the Golden Bull - Taurus!" She pulled out his key and the spirit appeared. "Take him out!"

The bull swung his axe and the dark wizard caught it. He then pushed it to the side and delivered a palm strike right to the cow's face, knocking him out. "No way... I lost..." The cow mumbled as he returned to his home.

Lucy took a few steps back in a panic before running away from Kain as he resumed his charge. "How is this guy so strong without magic?!" She shouted as she reached for another key. "Open, Gate of the Archer - Sagittarius!" The costumed spirit appeared and fired at his legs, only for Kain to kick them back.

Both master and spirit cried in pain as the archer returned to his dimension. "Okay... Let's try this! Open, Gate of the Scorpion - Scorpio!"

The spirit appeared and pointed his tail at Kain. "Sand Buster!" Sand shot out of it and hit Kain, only to be blocked by his palms. He then sent both flying into the sky and Scorpio faded.

"My doll still has my hair on it." Kain said as the doll was now solid iron. "If I can change what he's made of, what do you think would happen to me?"

"I thought curses were only evil..." Lucy said.

"Let's change from iron into a light, mr. Cursey." Kain said as the doll did just that. "Shining Dodoskoi!" A palm strike hit Lucy in the gut and sent her flying backwards. "Just because I may not look like it, doesn't mean I'm not one of the Seven Kin of Purgatory. I'm stronger than you could ever be."

Lucy bounced along the ground as Kain held up his doll. "Change from light to cotton!" The doll turned super light and he did the same, floating in the breeze. "Time to end this for good. Iron!" He turned into solid metal and began falling down.

With Natsu and Laki

The Dragon Slayers slid backwards from Ultear as bruises littered their bodies. "You guys okay?" Happy asked.

"Don't worry, we're fine." Natsu said back. "Her hits aren't that tough."

"Do you two really think this is my full strength?" Ultear asked. "I owe you both for making me look like a fool on Galuna Island. And I plan to make you suffer for that."

"Do you think we care?" Laki asked. "Besides, you're no stronger now than you were then."

"Just for that, I'm going to kill you first." The time wizard said. Natsu charged forward and ended up kicking Kain in the face as she fell, launching him over to Ultears side.

"Lucy?" Both dragon slayers asked in shock. "Why are you here?"

"It's a long story. But thanks for saving me, Natsu." She said. "Wait, why are you here Laki?"

"It's also a long story." The bespectacled girl replied.

"It's amazing that you didn't see her eat a face full of dirt on the way down. It was hilarious." Happy said, holding back a laugh.

"I am going to crush you, cat." The blonde said.

"Kain, why are you here?" Ultear asked.

"I chased her here and then that dude hit me." He told his superior.

"Looks like she's been giving you two a hard time." Lucy observed.

"We've managed to get close but we can't seem to hit her." Laki explained.

"I still say we can take her." Natsu replied.

"But what about the fact that there's two of them now?" Happy asked. "Think you can fight both of them?"

"We could, or we could let Lucy join the fun." Natsu said. "Given that the trial is on hold until these guys are dealt with, what do you say we all team up?"

Lucy smirked at the request before putting her hair up. "Now this has me feeling all mushy."

"It's like the first time we all met." Happy said, slinging bag over his shoulder.

"We'll, maybe not exactly like that." Laki smirked as she pushed her glasses up.

"I'm all fired up now!" Natsu cheered as he pushed up his hair. "You ready, guys?"

"Let's do this." Lucy smiled as she, Laki and Natsu all high fived.

Ultear glared at them as Kain bit his cape in anger. "Ultear, you don't have to stick around. I'll handle these three on my own, and then barbecue the furball." He said letting go of his cloak.

"If you think you can handle all three of us, then bring it on." Natsu said.

"Surpised you don't to face them." Laki said. "Then again that fat guy rubs me the wrong way."

"Fine, I'll leave them all to you." The time wizard said. "I must deliver Zeref to master Hades."

"Wow, you found him already?" The fat man asked in excitement. "That's wonderful."

"We have to stop her." Lucy said to the dragon slayers. "If she gets away with Zeref, then every non wizard is gonna die."

"Not to mention he hasn't to pay for messing up my scarf." Natsu added before charging forward. "So he's not going anywhere!" Kain ran in front of him and slapped him back with a palm strike.

"Natsu!" Laki cried out in concern.

"Make their deaths quick." Ultear ordered. "Show them the strength of the Seven Kin, and then return to the ship." She turned and ran over to the black wizard.

Kain roared as he slammed his fist down, making Natsu jump back. "Wood Dragon Redwood Fist!" Laki charged forward and slammed her fist into the large man's gut. He turned to her and tried to grab her, making her jump back. "Lucy, stop her!"

"On it!" The blonde shouted before racing after Ultear.

"Wood Dragon-" Laki chanted before her body froze.

"Laki, what's wrong?" Natsu asked.

"I-I don't know." She answered. "My body just won't move anymore."

Kain smirked as he held up his doll, showing purple hair on top of the doll. "When you jumped back, I managed to snag one of your bristles. Since the blonde girl isn't here, might as well make you suffer instead."

He grabbed the dolls arms and yanked them up, making Laki's do the same as she cried in pain. Then he grabbed the dolls legs and did the same thing. "What the heck is going on?" Natsu asked.

"Don't ask me, I'm just as confused." Happy said.

Kain then made Laki pose in various poses, making her blush in embarrassment. "Oh, seems like you like this." He teased.

"Let me go now, you sick pervert!" She shouted from all fours.

"It seems like he's controlling her with that doll." Happy observed.

"Let her go, now!" Natsu shouted, making Kain look at him.

"I've got a better idea." He held the doll straight and Laki began dragging through the dirt towards Natsu.

"Natsu, move!" She shouted.

"Sorry about this" Natsu said as he jumped over her. He then pushed down on her but and tried to jump off.

"Not in public, Natsu!" She cried out before Kain moved a leg on the doll and made her kick her boyfriend. "Sorry." She said before doing the same thing again. "Sorry."

"Come on, Laki, you have to fight this thing." Natsu said as he stood up.

"I'm trying, Natsu." Laki said before Kain made her punch him. "Sorry." He made her do it again and again as Natsu groaned in pain.

"Okay, that's enough of this." Natsu said as his face almost swelled up. He ducked one punched and placed his fellow dragon slayer in a full nelson lock. "Laki, whatever your doing for your arms you gotta show me. Those punches really hurt."

"Hey, don't stsrt acting all lovey doves in me." Kain shouted in annoyance. "Quit acting all romantic in the middle of a fight!"

"If this is your idea of romance I almost feel sorry for you." Laki said.

"Fine, I'll just make you turn your boyfriend into jelly!" He shouted back before pulling Laki free and then forcing her to place Natsu in various submission holds. Suddenly, a blue blue flew by and the doll was out if Kains hand. "No, not again!"

"Natsu, Laki, I got it!" The blue cat shouted.

"Way to go, Happy!" Natsu cheered.

Seconds later, the cat smirked and made Laki smother Natsu with her chest. "I'm gonna kill, you perverted cat!" She shouted.

Kain roared before delivering a palm strike to the cat, making him drop the doll. The doll fell to the ground and Laki matched its movements before Kain reached out to grab it. He missed and doll fell right into Natsu's hand. "My turn! Fire Dragon Talon!" Natsu swung a flaming kick and Kain ducked it.

He then head butted the pinkette, launching him fly backwards. "How is this guy so fast!?" Natsu asked.

"Time to show you fools what happened when you mess with Grimoire Heart!" Kain shouted before delivering another palm strike to the Dragon Slayer. He then punched Natsu and he flew into a cliff that shattered from the impact and trapped Natsu under the rocks.

"Natsu, hang on!" Laki shouted before Kain smacked her down.

"Leave her alone!" Natsu shouted as the large man placed his boot into Laki's spine.

"Calm down, you'll join her soon enough." The dark wizard sad before swatting Happy away.

"Laki, go find Lucy and help her!" Natsu shouted. "Don't worry about me! I can handle this guy."

"No..." Laki said, pushing herself up. Kain slammed his boot down on her before kicked her in the gut. He then grabbed her head and forced her up. "I won't leave you alone, Natsu. We're a couple... and that means we stay together. So... I'll stay with you until the bitter end."

"That makes one way to say good bye." Kain said as he started squeezing on her head. "I'll pop her head like a grape." He squeezed harder and Laki screamed in pain.

"Leave her alone!" Natsu shouted as he tried to free himself. Growling in anger, he glanced over and saw the voodoo doll on the ground.

Laki groaned in pain before her legs shot up and kicked Kain in the face. "What the? Who's got the doll now?" Laki asked before looking over to see Natsu smirking. Laki did the same and Natsu started punching with the doll, making his girlfriend do the same.

Kain recovered and tried throwing another palm strike. "Ready, Laki?" Natsu asked before bending his girlfriend over via the doll. He then started swinging the limbs making Laki best uo the large man.

"Natsu!" Laki shouted. "Show him a little more firepower!"

"You read my mind." He smirked as he ignited his fist. He lifted is flame over the dolls fist and Laki's caught in fire as well. "Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" Laki smirked as she felt her boyfriends magic around her arm. "Happy, catch!" Natsu threw the doll up and his cat caught it.

"Go for max speed!" Laki added as Happy flew up, taking Laki with him. Kain stared up in horror as the flaming woman drew closer and closer.

"Special Technique: "Laki Fire!" Natsu said before Laki slammed her feet into Kains face. An explosion rocked the land and Kain fell over in defeat. "We did it!"

"Nice work!" Laki cheered before grabbing Natsu's arm. "Now, let's get you out Natsu." She and Happy started pulling but Natsu wouldn't budge.

"Come on, pull harder!" He begged.

"Wait, why are working hard?" Laki asked, letting go. "Just melt the rocks with your fire."

"Good idea." Natsu said before doing just that. The molten rock loosened up and he soon pulled himself out. "Okay, now lets go find Zeref!" The two raced over to the large tree only to find it empty. "Damnit. He's gone!"

"That girl must have taken him with her." Laki said before sniffing the air. "And she must have masked the scent because I can't find her."

"Same here." The pinkette replied. "And Lucy is still out there, looking for her." He turned around and saw Laki's leg almost over her head. "What are you doing?" She chased after Happy and the doll before she grabbed it.

"Well, we need to do something." Laki said before ripping her hair out of the doll. "We either need to find Zeref or go after Lucy. From what Lucy said, these guys are planning to use Zeref to do something to the world."

"Great, another one of those plans." Natsu complained. "Well, it doesn't matter. They hurt gramps, so they have to pay. They ain't leaving until I get my hands on each and everyone of them."

"Wait..." Laki mumbled, her hand under her chin. "If they got to this island, they must have a ship or something that brought them here. And that Ultear woman said she was bringing Zeref to their master. That means their ship must still be on the island. Happy, think you can go up and look for it?"

"I'd like to, but I used all my magic power on that last attack." He said.

"Don't worry about it." She replied. "Anyone would be low after that."

"Guess we should head back to Wendy and gramps." Natsu said. "Rose and the others might be able to go look for it."

With Cana

Cana marched through Route E looking for Mavis' grave. 'This is where Lucy said the grave is.' She thought to herself. 'I will pass the trial this year. Then I'll finally be able o look him in the eye.' She rounded a corner and found herself staring st a bright light. "Is that it?"

With Gray

"Oh, yeah. Let's split up." Gray complained as he walked through the forest. "I've been walking around this place with out a sign of friends or enemies. What is up with her? Maybe she just needs a drink..." He stopped walking and realized that Cana hadn't had a drop the entire trial.

"I haven't seen her touch a drop of the stuff. Maybe she's given it up..." A rustling caught his attention and he quickly hid behind a tree. 'Someone's here...'

"Just a little further, Zeref." Ultear said to the unconscious man. "Soon you'll be able to rule over this world once again."

'That Zeref on her shoulder?' Gray asked in shock. He looked up at the woman and went wide eyed as she was a dead ringer for Ur. 'No, she's part of the enemy...' He told himself as he started following the girl. 'But she looks so much like Ur... is this some kind of game?'

Grimoire Heart Airship.

The hulking ship sat on the sand as Hades sat in the dinning hall, chuckling. "Now this is entertainment."

"I'm glad to see you're enjoying yourself, master." A man said as he walked forward from the shadows.

Hades reached up and pulled his helmet off. "They've already defeated three of my Seven Kin." He said as he placed it on the table. "Makarov has done a fine job training his children."

"Is it my turn?" The man asked walking towards the table.

"Not yet." Hades replied. "This battled doesn't require you just yet, Bluenote."

"I can't let the others have all the fun." The now named man said. "I don't want my body going soft on me." He placed his hand on the table and the whole ship started shaking.

"That's enough." Hades ordered.

Bluenote took his hand off the the table and all the shaking stopped. "What's wrong? If we submerge then they won't be able to find us."

"Makarov's children will gather here, ignorant of the horrors that lie within the devils heart." Hades explained.

"You want your prey to throw itself into your mouth?" Bluenote asked. "I rather enjoy hunting."

"I won't have you messing with my plans." The master said. "You will stay here."

Bluenote stared at the master before taking a seat. "Almost half of your Kin have been taken out. If one more falls, I'm stepping in. Today is the day I learn to fly."

Council Warships

"What!?" Doranbolt asked in shock. "Bluenote Stinger is here!?"

Lahar nodded before turning to his friend. "They say he wiped out the whole Blue Dragoon regiment by himself during the Cabria War. They say not even the weeds on the ground can stand up to him."

"They managed to recruit a monster like him?" Doranbolt mumbled in fear.

"There's nothing more we can do." Lahar said as he walked forward to the lacrima behind his friend. "We don't stand a chance against them and neither does Fairy Tail. We need to let the council know what's happening at once. They'll tell us what to do."

Doranbolt blocked the hand and looked the captain in the face. "I just need some time." He grabbed the lacrima and teleported away.

"What are you doing, Doranbolt?" Lahar asked.

With Wendy

"Wendy!" Natsu and Laki shouted as they came into view.

"You're okay." The girl cheered. "Did you find the person you were looking for?"

"How's master doing?" Laki asked.

"He's not getting any better, but he's not getting worse." Carla said.

Rustling caught their attention as they turned to see Lucy stumble out of the woods. "Lucy!" Happy cheered. "What are you doing here? Where's the other girl?"

"I lost her." The blonde confessed. "She's faster than she looks."

Magic fluxed next to them and they turned to see Doranbolt appear next to them. "Him again?" Pantherlily asked.

"Nice of you to show up again." Natsu complained as Lucy looked on confused.

"Thats Mest, a spy sent by the council to shut us down." Laki explained.

"Actually, my name is Doranbolt." He said stepping forward.

"Why are you back here?" Wendy asked.

"Simple, I'm here to rescue you all." The council member said, shocking the group. "Using my magic, I can get every Fairy Tail member off the island. We just need to find everyone."

"Piss off." Natsu said, shocking Mest.

"We've never need the councils help before so why would we take it now?" Laki asked.

"We can handle this problem on our own." Rose added.

"Are you insane?" Doranbolt asked. "Once the council figures out who's on this island, they won't hesitate to wipe out the threat as quickly as possible."

"They plan on blasting us with Etherion again!?" Happy shouted in a panic.

"These guys never learn..." Lucy complained.

"We can take care of this problem before that happens." Natsu said.

"Makarov has been beaten and you're going up against powerful wizards!" Doranbolt shouted. "You have no chance of winning!"

"So you're just going to blow up the island!?" Laki asked back.

"This Island is sacred to our guild." Wendy added. "It's where the first master is resting. We can't let them destroy it..."

"Tell the council to leave us alone to handle this." Lucy said. "We can protect this island ourself."

"You're threatening the magic council?" Mest asked. "You're just a bunch of lowly wizards."

"Shut up and listen." Natsu said. "We don't give a damn if it's the council, Grimoire Heart or something else. Anyone who picks a fight with us our enemy. And we won't let them get away with anything."

Stormclouds began gathering as Wendy looked up at the sky. 'The sky... it's like a storm is coming...'

With Erza and Juvia

Juvia cried out in pain as she fell to the ground. "Juvia!" Erza shouted in concern before more blades assaulted the bluenette. "Why are you going after her?" She demanded ad she charged in her Heaven's Wheel armor.

"Thirteen is easy prey." She's explained. "I'll deal with her at once. As for you, Erza Scarlet number four..." More blades appeared and started flying at the redhead.

"What is with these numbers?" Erza asked as she slice the magic blades.

"It's is the order of your elimination." Meredy explained, summoning more blades. "Number three is Gildarts, but he's no longer on the island. Number two is Makarov, but master Hades has already defeated him."

"The master is number two?" Erza asked in shock. "Someone here is a bigger priority than the master?"

"Number one is Gray Fullbuster!" Meredy shouted, confusing Erza. "The man who caused Ultear's mothers death... who caused her sorrow... I'll never forgive him! I'll tear his body apart piece by piece!" Dozens of blades appeared and surrounded Erza before a wave of water destroyed them all.

Stormclouds started raining around them as Juvia stood up in her damaged clothing. "That crosses the line..." She said, glaring at the dark wizard. "No body threatened my beloved and gets away with it."

"What's number thirteens problem?" Meredy asked, not knowing that she poked the bear.

"Juvia... please calm down..." Erza nervously asked.

"You expect me to calm down?" The bluenette asked as she sloshed through the water. "After what she said her plans were to to my beloved?" She walked past Erza and stared down Meredy. "That's just not going to happen. She's going to pay for that threat!" Water shot up and hit Meredy, launching her backwards into a tree.

Juvia then crouched slightly before launching forward, shocking both Erza and Meredy. "Water Nebula!" She chanted before duel spirals of water shot up and hit Meredy again.

'She's a totally different person from the trials...' The redhead thought, thinking back to the battle. 'She can channel her emotions into the power to fight.' Juvia smacked Meredy around before launching her back with a watery fist. 'This is Juvia's true power...'

"Erza, go ahead and find Wendy and Gray." Juvia said looking over her shoulder. "I'll keep her busy."

Erza requipped back into her black bikini and nodded. "Very well, I leave this in your care." She said before turning and running back into the island.

"You won't get away number four!" Meredy shouted as she summoned more blades. Juvia waved her hands and two waves of water slammed into the petite girl. "Maguilty =Ray!" The caped girl shouted as yellow blades flew at Juvia.

"Water Slicer!" Juvia waved her arms and blades of water met the attack, creating a blast as the two stared at each other.

With Rustyrose

The poet stared up at the rainy sky as the water rolled down his hand. "Tears of the sky grant me forgetfulness of my desires... black eyes to turn the darkness away..."

"Are those some lyrics to a song?" Azuma asked as he sat shirtless in the rain.

"Azuma... you seem injured." Rustyrose said, ignoring the question.

"This is proof the skilled warrior I battled." Azuma replied.

"Skilled warrior, here?" Rusty asked, chuckling. "I'm surprised that this band of weaklings can call themselves a guild. My own drum didn't even shake."

"Only a fool underestimate his opponents." Azuma said. "Fairy Tails strength isn't just their magic power. But it is also the strength of their convictions."

"Sting convictions?" Rusty asked. "Not that much different from our budding rose."

With Juvia

The two girls stared at each other as the rain poured around them. "Strange, isn't it?" Meredy asked. "We're talking about the same person, but you'd think they we're two different people by our reactions."

"It's just how the world works." Juvia replied. "That's a part of being human."

"Things couldn't have gone better for me." Meredy mumbled. "To think I'd come here on a death dealing mission, and I'd run into a person with strong feelings for him."

"Start making sense now." Juvia demanded.

"It's your very feelings that do Gray in." Meredy cryptically said. "Enjoy your final trip to heaven before you burn in hell. Now, picture your beloved. Feel the emotions inside you well up." Juvia's heart beated faster and Meredy smirked. "Perfect. Sensory Link!" Pink light surrounded Juvia before it shot up and flew intimacy the island. "This is my magic, Maguilty Sense."

"What have you done?" Juvia asked, staring at the glowing brand on her wrist.

"I've linked your senses with those of Gray." The pinkette explained. "It only works when two people share strong feelings." Juvia's face turned bright red in delight. "How does it feel to be with your beloved?" Juvia only gushed at the question. "But he also shares your pain!"

Her magic struck Juvia's arm and she cried in pain. "Any damage you feel, Gray will also feel." Meredy explained.

"You dare... use my love to hurt Gray!?" Juvia shouted in anger before blasting Meredy again.

'It can't be...' Meredy thought. 'Her power is still growin? Could it be that her feelings make her stronger? Fine, then I'll show her the power of her feelings first hand.' "Three Spread Sensory Link!"

A brand appears on her own wrist as Juvia delivered another blow to her opponent before pain ripped through her body as well. 'I don't... why did it hurt me to?'

"For Ultear's life... I'll gladly risk my own life." Meredy said as she stood back up. "I've joined this connection between you and Gray. The three of us are now connected. Now if one of us dies so dies Gray. We will all die today."

Thought I'd change things up and have Laki fight Kain with Natsu. Makes it more emotional when she almost got her head crushed like a grape. Not much left to say. See you guys next chapter.
