Sting smirked as he stepped forward, only to suddenly find Natsu suddenly in his face as Laki was in Rouge's. Natsu slammed his elbow into the blonde's face as Laki punched his partner. The entire crowd was in shock as the Twin Dragons bounced back before Natsu charged the blonde.

With a flaming kick, he bounced Sting back as Laki punched Rogue to the ground. Sting slid to a stop and smirked, excited that the fight was living up to his expectations, before he pulled his head back. "White Dragon Roar!" A beam of light shot out and Natsu dodged it, only for Sting to continue the roar.

Natsu bent out of the way as Laki jumped back. Rogue appeared from behind, shadows rolling off his arm. "Shadow Dragon Slash!" He swung his arm and hit Laki, only to see a giant wooden shield get chipped.

Laki smirked from behind the shield before she bashed Rogue in the face and swung it, slamming the edge into his neck. Natsu came up from behind and punched the Shadow Mage before dragging him along before throwing him into Sting. "Fire Dragon Wing Attack!"

Natsu swung his arms and whips of fire struck the two, sending them sliding. "What is happening here!?" Chapati asked. "The Twin Dragons of Sabertooth, the strongest guild in Fiore are being pressured like I've never seen before."

Sting stood up and chuckled, wiping his mouth. "As strong as I thought you'd be..."

"Did you guys really beat your dragons with that level of power?" Natsu asked.

"Not just beat, killed." Sting replied.

"They were your parents." Laki growled in disgust.

"That has nothing to do with you." The blonde spat back, both him and Rogue glowing in their respective elements. "Now I'll show you the power that kills dragons. Let's go."

Both charged forward and swung their arms, bashing both First Gen Dragon Slayers. In the crowd, Jiemma smirked as Sting roared, swinging a punch at Natsu. "Face the judgement of the White Dragon!" His fist erupted into light and the fist hit Natsu in the jaw.

Laki was kicked in the face by shadows, angering her. She swung her whip arm only to hit nothing but air. "Shadows cannot be captured." Rogue declared before slamming his elbow into her face. The battle suddenly turned much to the shock of Fairy Tail as Jiemma smirked in the crowd.

"I always looked up to you." Sting said between the blows. "And I aimed to surpass you. Now is that time!" He fired a blast and hit Natsu in the chest, burning a strange mark onto his body. "The White Dragon's Claw is a holy attack. A body marked by it has their freedom taken. And with this..." He pulled his hand back and charged another attack. "I will surpass you!"

Laki turned her arm into a trunk and shot it at Rogue. "I have no quarrel with you, Olietta." The Shadow Dragon Slayer said from behind. "You're simply an obstacle in my way. So you must be destroyed." He swung his arm to crush her, only for his hand to be caught.

"You can't break wood that easily." She chuckled as Natsu smirked, confusing Sting before a flaming fist hit his face.

"W-why can you move?" The blonde asked in confusion before looking at the chest. "You burned the stigmata away!?"

"You're pretty good, but still not good enough." Natsu smirk.

"You wouldn't be the first person to look down on Fairy Tail!" Laki shouted, slamming her elbow into his face. Natsu swung his arm and cracked Sting in the face.

Sting lowered his head and spat a broken tooth out, smiling at the pinkette. "You guys are amazing, no doubt about that. I'll have to use the best of my best." He declared, pulling his fist back. "The White Dragons fist will turn even flames to ash. Dragon Slayer's Secret Art..."

"Holy Nova!" He slammed his fist forward and a giant beam of light flew at Natsu. The entire arena held their breaths as the dust settled, showing Natsu hioding the fist like it was nothing.

"You're kidding, right!?" Orga asked.

"That has never happened before..." Rufus declared.

Natsu glared at the blonde and held onto the arm as Rogue charged Laki. She merely turned and punched Rogue back, shocking the crowd even more. "Three months of training and a second origin... made the two of them this strong?" Makarov asked in shock. Natsu punched Sting back and the two tumbled into back into each other. "These two are on completely different levels." The crowd cheered the battle on as Sting and Rogue pushed themselves up.

"Who could have expected these developments!?" Chapati shouted. "Sabertooth's Twin Dragons can barely lift a finger before Fairy Tail! Will the match end like this!?"

"Like... hell..." Sting growled as the two stood up. "I knew this wall could not be surpassed so easily... I made a promise to Lector..." He started glowing in white as Rogue was enveloped by shadows. "I can't lose..." Scales appeared on their faces as they raised their heads, shocking everyone who saw it.

"It can't be..." Laki mumbled.

"Quake before the Third Generations true power." Minerva said with a smirk.

"Dragon Force!?" Mavis asked in shock.

"That's the same power Natsu used in the Tower of Heaven!" Erza shouted in concern. "And Laki used it back on Tenrou Island as well."

"You're saying that these guys can use that power on their own?" Gray asked in worry.

"That's the power of the 3rd Generation of Dragon Slayers." Minerva chuckled.

"Rogue, stay back." Sting said, walking forward. "I'll be enough."

"He's either really strong or underestimating us." Laki said.

"No, he's strong." Natsu replied before the blonde suddenly charged forward. Natsu raised his arms to block, but the force of the attack broke through his guard. Laki swung her trunk leg, but Sting ducked and countered, punching her in the face.

Natsu slid to a stop and charged with a flaming fist, only for Sting to catch it and slam his knee into Natsu's chest. With a smug grin, the blonde batted the pinkette into his girlfriend before jumping into the air. "White Dragon Holy Breath!" Another breath attack left his mouth, hitting both first generations.

The two hit the arena floor and the blast expanded, completely destroying the ground under them. The sheer power of the attack stunned as even the commentators were speechless. The ground under them crumbled and sent the two falling down some kind of cavern. Sting pulled his arms together and dived at the two, just as Natsu landed on a chunk of ground.

"Fire Dragon Sword Horn!" He jumped off the rock and ignited himself, intent on spearing the blonde.

The attack hit and sent Sting back, right into Laki's sightline. "Wood Dragon Roar!" The tornado of splinters hit Sting and sent him crashing to the ground.

Stone covered him before he pushed himself free, shocking the couple. "The brilliance of the white dragon purifies all things." He chanted, pulling his arms back as a glow shined from his two hands. "Holy Ray!" He opened his arms wide and a swarm of spears of light flew at the two.

Natsu and Laki cried out in pain as dozens of beams of light stuck them. Natsu rolled on the ground before sprinting to catch Laki, only for Sting to appear before him and punched him back. The force sent Natsu flying into an ancient structure before he turned and kicked Laki in the face. He did the same to a charging Natsu, before moving out of the way, letting the two punch each other.

Sting delivered a final punch to both First Generation Dragon Slayers, sending them both to the ground as Sting raised his fist in triumph. The crowd cheered in excitement as Rogue stared over the battlefield. "Times have changed." He declared. "In seven years we became real Dragon Slayers. The old generation is over."

"Yeah..." Sting nodded, his enchantment wearing off. "But... You guys were strong." He told the downed couple as he walked away.

"Wait a minute." Natsu declared, shocking the two as they turned around. To their shock, they saw Natsu and Laki standing up, beaten all to hell and back, but they were still standing. "You okay, Laki?"

"Yeah, I'm good." She replied, stretching her arms. "But, we figured everything out."

"What!?" Sting asked in shock.

"The time of your attacks, your pose when you're protecting yourself, even your breathing." Natsu explained. "We figured it all out."

"No way! I was using Dragon Force!" Sting shouted in defiance.

"Yeah, that was some serious power." Natsu chuckled. "I'm hurting all over."

"That's because you missed that he pivots his leg to 10 o'clock to attack." Laki replied, pushing he glasses up.

"I thought it was 11 o'clock?" Natsu asked.

"We'll split the difference and go with 10:30." Laki chuckled.

"Sure thing." Natsu chuckled before he extended his hand forward, the words 'Come on' burning off his fingers. "Hope you kids are ready for round two. Because we're fired up now."

"You're kidding me..." Sting mumbled in shock.

"I have no business with either of you." Rogue declared. "I only wish to fight against Gajeel."

"Too bad." Laki teased. "I'm the best you've got."

Sting growled in annoyance as the two reentered Dragon Force. "Dragon Force is the same as the dragons' power! Nothing in this world exceeds it!" Sting growled before charging the two.

"But it wasn't complete, was it?" Natsu asked, catching the attack.

"I killed Weisslogia with this power!" Sting growled out.

"Then we'll use this power to fight for our friends that you made fun of." Laki declared before punching the blonde back.

"Shadow Dragon Roar!" Rogue pulled his head back and unleashed a roar of shadow from behind. Natsu turned and countered with his own roar, completely enveloping the shadow's roar and Rogue himself.

"It's not done yet!" Sting shouted as the four traded hits and misses. A stereo punch from the couple sent the third Gens back.

"Sting!" Rogue shouted, catching the blonde's attention. He jumped over and both pulled their arms back, light and shadow rolling off them.

"A Unison Raid!?" Makarov asked in shock as Natsu and Laki started glowing red and green respectively.

"Ashes to ashes." The pair chanted as they gripped each others hands. "Fire begets new life and the cycle begins anew. Let those who stand in the way of life feel the dragons bite!"

"Unison Raid - Holy Shadow Dragon Flash Fang!" Sting and Rogue shouted before throwing their fists forward, sending a beam of light and shadows at the two.

"Unison Raid - Charcoal Dragon Smoldering Blast!" A dome of wood surrounded the couple before it exploded, pushing back the beam and rocking the entire arena. Smoke filled the entire cavern as everyone watched the camera's. Two thuds echoed out before the smoke faded, showing Sting and Rogue face first on the ground with Natsu and Laki standing tall.

"This is incredible!" Chapati shouted as the crowd cheered. Natsu stumbled back before Laki caught him, making them both smile. "Fairy Tail has defeated the Twin Dragons!"

"The fourth day of the Grand Magic Games has come to an end with this surprise of the century! The teams will have one day to rest before the final battle the day after tomorrow! The last day is survival battle where all of the team members will participate! Who will the winner be!? I know I look forward to it!"

Lector was sobbing as Frosch held his friend tight. "Who would have thought that they'd lose?" Orga asked allowed.

"It was an interesting fight..." Rufus chuckled. "I've memorized it all."

"People will flock here for a while." The God Slayer added.

"Suppose they have the time to..." Minerva said, staring at the couple. 'Weaker Dragon Slayers... how could they defeat Sting and Rogue? Their dependence on each other only makes them weak.'

The stands began shaking as Jiemma glared in anger. The people around him panicked and ran for their lives as the bricks shattered under his magic. The scoreboard appeared for everyone to see, showing Fairy Tail ahead by one point.

Natsu looked down at the other two men and smiled. "Let's fight again one day." He chuckled before Happy and Rose flew down, picking up their partners.

'Complete defeat...' Rogue mumbled to himself. 'If Gajeel is as powerful as these two... how much did I overestimate myself?'

Night

Yukino stared out over the city, having heard the results of the day. "Sabertooth was defeated by Natsu and Laki..."

"You must have mixed feelings about it, Sergeant Yukino." A guard said.

"No, I have no regrets about that guild." She chuckled. "And I can never get used to someone calling me 'sergeant'."

"Sorry, but to take part of the Eclipse Project you need a rank, even if it is just temporary." The soldier explained.

"The Eclipse Project..." Yukino mumbled as she stared up at the night's sky. "I'm ready to pour everything I have into it just to be of help. For Colonel Arcadios as well. After all he, invited me here."

"Don't be so nervous, call him captain." The soldier chuckled. "All his old friends do."

"I see..." She replied, before spinning around and walking further into the room. "It's funny... Even though he's trying to save the world, no one notices him."

Medical Bay

Carla gasped in shock as she stumbled backwards. "Are you okay, Carla?" Wendy asked.

"F-fine." The white cat replied. 'That vision again...'

"We did it, Lucy!" Levy shouted as she entered the room. "If thing's keep going this way, we might actually win!"

"Of course they won." Lucy cheered. "They would never lose."

"By the way, have you guys seen Gajeel?" The bookworm asked.

"He's probably somewhere sulking that he wasn't on the team." Elfman chuckled, earning a punch from the Dragon Slayer.

Jellal walked through the night streets, a crude mask covering his face and hair. The three had split up to search for the strange magical energy that appeared during the battle. He came to a stop and turned around. "I know you're there. Show yourself." He demanded, making the hooded figure step out.

"I'll show you who I am, now show me your face." He said as he revealed his face. He looked down and noticed the feminine feet as the figure turned around, showing their face. "N... no way."

This. Was. Awesome! No matter how many times I watch this, it is still just as amazing. And the added subtext of the romance in this version, it got even better. The next chapter is the start of the Fairy Tail 2014 era in this fic, so I'll see you then.
