Slowly but surely, Corrin started coming to. As her eyes opened, she looked around the room. She found herself in her bed at the Monastery. She wasn't entirely sure how she got there, but she was at least glad that she woke up at all. The last thing she remembered was the heavy hit she took from Miklan that took her out of the fight. She hoped that the rest of the class was okay. She doubted she'd even be in bed if it went poorly, but she still found herself a bit nervous. She decided to get out of bed and see if she could find anyone. She didn't have trouble getting up, which she found a blessing. She walked over to the door.

"Corrin?"

Corrin jumped in surprise and turned around, barely noticing that Rhajat was in the room. She quickly calmed down upon realizing who it was. She walked closer to her. "Rhajat... are you okay? Is everyone okay?"

Rhajat stepped out of the shadows and walked towards Corrin. "Yeah, I gave that dastard a beating. Everyone is safe."

Corrin smiled. "That's great to hear! But um... why are you here?"

Rhajat looked downward. "I... was worried. Everyone said you'd be okay, but I wanted to be here when you woke up. Just to be safe."

Corrin started blushing as she ran her hand through her hair. She was happy to have a friend like Rhajat. "Thank you. That's... very sweet of you."

Rhajat blushed too, but nodded. She then started smiling. "There's something I need to tell you though."

Corrin tilted her head. She wasn't sure where she was going with this. She knew where she'd like it to go, but didn't want to get her hopes up. "Yes?"

"Thank you for saving me, Corrin. I owe you my life..."

Corrin smiled again. "You don't have to go that far. You would've done the same for me."

Rhajat looked downward again. "...You're so kind. The kindest person I've ever met. No one's ever been so nice to me. I'll follow you forever, I'll never take my eyes off of you. I'm glad we met Corrin." Rhajat looked back up and started giggling softly.

Corrin couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "I... don't understand." She knew that Rhajat could be a bit odd, but she supposed that was also part of her charm. "But I'm glad we met too. If you want to spend more time together, I'd be more than happy to oblige."

Rhajat started giggling louder. "Excellent..." Rhajat walked closer to Corrin. She embraced her in a tight hug, which Corrin reciprocated. The two of them soon let go, then stared into each other's eyes before looking away, both embarrassed.

"Well, why don't we head out?" Corrin asked, pointing at the door.

"Sure, I'll go anywhere as long as it's with you..." Rhajat said.

Corrin giggled slightly with a blush. "You're such a sweet girl Rhajat." Corrin turned around with Rhajat very close behind, and left the room.

The sun shone brightly on the duo. Corrin looked upward, slightly concerned. "How long was I out?"

Rhajat grimaced, thinking back to what happened. "It's only been a day. You were out for the rest of the 31st. It's the Horsebow Moon now."

Corrin nodded in understanding. "Glad it hasn't been too long... By the way... did Miklan make it?"

Rhajat's face became neutral. "No, I killed him." She said rather calmly.

Corrin looked a bit upset. "I see... well... there wasn't much that could be done once he turned into that monster I suppose..."

"True but... he hurt you. I couldn't let him get out of that unscathed." She explained. "I will not hesitate to kill for you."

"I see..." Corrin's expression remained saddened.. "I know we didn't have a choice, so I'm not mad at you. I also know that we can't just... not kill. But if it's possible... if you can spare a life... please do."

Rhajat tilted her head a bit confused, then nodded. "I could never make you sad Corrin. If that's what you want, then that's what I'll do."

Corrin smiled gently. "Thank you Rhajat. Shall we be off?"

The duo continued to walk around the monastery. Rhajat didn't completely understand Corrin. She wondered why she'd be saddened by the idea of someone who hurt her dying. Especially because from what she had heard of Miklan, he didn't seem like a great person to her. At the same time, she'd much rather be confused than be the reason Corrin was upset. She longed to be a source of joy for Corrin, as well as being her girlfriend. She wasn't sure how likely that was, she wasn't even sure if Corrin liked girls. While she wasn't particularly keeping her crush a secret, she was still worried about Corrin thinking she was gross. She even thought her attraction to Corrin was a bit weird, but her love for Corrin was stronger than that feeling of shame.

Corrin on the other hand, was enjoying just walking around the monastery unaware of Rhajat's inner turmoil. While Rhajat was close, she didn't mind it. She enjoyed spending time with her. But her silence was getting a bit worrying to her. Corrin knew Rhajat wasn't exactly chatty, but she was being a bit too quiet.

"Rhajat?"

Rhajat snapped to attention. "Yes?"

"Are you doing okay?"

Rhajat glanced downward. "Yes." She wasn't completely lying. "Any moment spent with you is bliss after all." Being around Corrin at the very least was distracting her from these issues, but it wasn't erasing them.

"If you're sure..." Corrin stopped walking and turned around. She grabbed Rhajat's hands and looked into her eyes. "I'm here if you need me though, okay?"

Rhajat couldn't help but blush again. She felt that every word that came out of Corrin's mouth made her like her more and more. Which made her feel both better and worse paradoxically. Despite that, she smiled. "Yes... I'll try to keep that in mind. Thank you Corrin."

"Hey Caeldori!" Shiro exclaimed.

"Shiro?" Caeldori replied. "Did you need something?"

Shiro grinned and placed his arm around the girl. "Do I need a reason to talk to my cousin?"

Caeldori smiled. "I suppose not."

Shiro released her and stepped back. "Training hard?"

"Of course." She replied. "I need to keep up with everyone, as well as Father."

"You're always amazing in battle, I think you can afford to take a break."

The pegasus knight sighed. She saw where he was coming from, but she couldn't believe it. She didn't have the energy to argue though after her exercise. She put her lance down and sat on a nearby bench. She didn't want to hear her cousin lecturing her about how she should take it easy. "Fine..."

Shiro rubbed the back of his head. "Ha, not every day I'm the one nagging you eh?"

Caeldori cracked a smile. She had to admit that he had a point. "I guess so..." She then looked as if she realized something. "Wait, are you calling me a nag?!"

Shiro burst out laughing. "Come on, we both know it's true!" He loved seeing his cousin like this. And at the very least it was distracting her from her work.

Caeldori folded her arms and huffed, which only made Shiro laugh harder. He walked over to her and slapped her back a bit too forcefully. "You're a riot, Caeldori."

Caeldori cringed in pain. She stood up and put her hands on her hips. "Stop teasing me!"

"Then stop making it so easy." Shiro couldn't help but continue.

Caeldori rolled her eyes. She then put her hand on her face. "Why do I put up with you...?" Despite her irritation, there was a part of her that was enjoying the banter. She really did need the distraction from her training, as well as from her woes.

"Anyway though..." Shiro began, seemingly changing the subject. "Have you seen Raphael?"

Caeldori shook her head. "Why do you ask?"

Shiro pulled his fist down. "I've been meaning to have a rematch with the guy! He's tough!"

"A... rematch...?" Caeldori tilted her head. "You're going to have another eating match?"

Shiro nodded proudly. "Hell yeah, I can't let him have the last word!"

Caeldori sighed. "Aren't you taking this a bit too seriously?"

Shiro pounded his chest with one fist. "Of course not! You wouldn't get it."

"I'm… not sure if I want to." Caeldori snarked.

"Why don't you join us?" He suggested.

"I'm good." Caeldori said, raising her hand. "I couldn't keep up with the two of you."

Shiro shrugged. "You don't even have to eat with us. Maybe as a judge or something."

"I guess I could..." Caeldori relented. "If you insist."

"Nice!" Shiro replied with a cheer. "We haven't gotten enough chances to talk since we've joined the officer's academy."

Caeldori looked downward, feeling slightly embarrassed. "Oh... uh... I didn't realize that but you're right, I guess we haven't. Well let's do it then!"

"All right, let's find the guy!" Shiro ran off to find the large man, leaving Caeldori by herself.

She shook her head. "He never changes..." Despite her words, she was smiling. "I hope he never does." She stood up and ran to catch up with her cousin. "Wait up!"

The two figured they could find him easily. Considering he wasn't at the training ground, they tried the next best place. Once they arrived at the mess hall, he was quickly spotted. As expected, he was stuffing his face with food.

Shiro rubbed his hands together. "Alright, let's see what we can do..."

"I mean he's already eating. Isn't this kinda unfair?" Caeldori asked. She was also confused given that Shiro wasn't the kind of person to play dirty.

Shiro put his hand on his hip and grinned. "This guy's a bottomless pit. I don't even know if he can be full. So don't worry."

Caeldori seemed a bit taken aback. "If he wasn't so into training he'd probably gain a lot of weight." She mused.

Shiro shrugged. "I doubt he'd care as long as he got to keep his muscles. He's pretty easy going. But anyway, let's go."

Shiro and Caeldori walked up to Raphael, who just took another bite of his chicken. He looked upward and smiled at the duo. "Hey guys, what's up?" He asked with a mouth filled with food.

Shiro smirked. "You down for a rematch?"

Raphael smiled even wider. "Sure! Eating with my bud sounds great! Take a seat, I'll go get another plate!"

"I wonder if he forgot I was here that quickly." Caeldori snarked.

"He's got a one track mind." He replied. "Ha, sometimes I wish I did too. It'd definitely make life easier. I guess I kinda envy him in some ways."

Caeldori looked surprised. "Really?"

"He just seems so... peaceful you know? I'm sure he's got his own things to be stressed about, his own demons, but he's just always having fun." The prince explained.

"Shiro... yeah, as royalty we both have a lot of pressure. Especially you." She admitted. "I have more time to focus on protecting the royal family, even if I'm a part of it. You though... you really need to focus on the nation as a whole. Just know that you're not alone. You've got me, Yukimura, and so many others in your corner. Even our Nohrian classmates want to see you succeed, I'm sure."

Shiro nodded and smiled. "Right, I definitely know you've got my back, and the others too."

Before the conversation could continue, Raphael returned with a plate filled with food. He put it down next to his plate and sat down. "Alright Shiro, I'm ready when you are! You wanna watch Caeldori? Thought you wouldn't want to eat."

Caeldori smiled slightly. "Huh, so you didn't forget me. Anyway, sure, I don't mind. You two can start on my mark."

Shiro sat down and looked to Raphael who looked back at him. They both looked ready to dig in, though Shiro's expression was more one of determination, versus Raphael's of excitement.

Caeldori raised her hand. "And... GO!"

Forrest hummed the song Rhajat sang during their first real mission as he sewed. He wasn't sure what it was, but he had to admit it was pretty. He didn't think he'd need a dress anytime soon, but he still loved making them. It was great stress relief, and seeing the cloth slowly turn into a gorgeous piece of clothing never got old to him. He placed the dress on his desk. It was a simple red spaghetti strap dress. He stared at it for a bit trying to figure out if there was anything else the outfit could use. He stared at it for a few moments before shaking his head. He thought it was missing something, but he wasn't sure what.

"Hope I'm not losing my touch..."

He dismissed the thought, feeling it was a bit hyperbolic. He felt that either way he may as well leave it alone for the time being. He decided to sit back down and opened a book in order to study. He found his mind constantly going back to the dress, to the point that he couldn't focus. He closed the book and put it back down. With a sigh, he stood back up and looked at the dress again. He still couldn't figure out what it was missing. Feeling that he wasn't going to be struck by inspiration anytime soon, he decided to get up and get ready to leave. He figured that going on a walk could get his brain going, or at least he could perhaps find some inspiration. He was surrounded by a myriad of aesthetically pretty women who could jog his creativity. At the very least, he felt anything was better than waiting around with this dress. With his mind made up, he opened the door to his room and stepped outside.

He supposed the best first step would be to go to the greenhouse. It was the closest landmark to the dorm, and he wondered if any of the nature there would catch his attention. He walked towards it and looked inside. He saw Dimitri's retainer Dedue messing with some of the plants.

"Huh. I didn't take him for a gardener..."

"Don't judge a book by its cover~ To be fair I didn't know either..."

Forrest yelped in shock before turning his head, and seeing a surprised Dorothea.

"Wow, I didn't think it'd scare you so much..." Dorothea said.

"Oh no, it's no problem." Forrest reassured. "Were you going to do some gardening?"

"Nope, I was just passing through when I saw you looking at the greenhouse. Was wondering what you were doing." Dorothea explained.

Forrest folded his arms. "I'm looking for inspiration to finish the dress I'm working on."

"You sure do love that kinda stuff huh?" Dorothea teased. She had to respect the commitment.

"I sure do." He replied with a smile. "Hopefully I can figure something out sooner rather than later. It's just going to keep bugging me otherwise..."

"Perhaps I can take a look at it? Who knows, maybe I can at least put you on the right path. Sometimes we just need a sounding board."

"Oh would you Dorothea?" Forrest asked. "Thank you so much! This'll be a huge burden off my shoulders!"

Dorothea giggled. "We don't know if it'll work out quite yet Forr. But sure, show me the dress!"

Forrest rather quickly walked off, prompting Dorothea to follow him. She had to walk pretty quickly to keep up with the prince. She did love seeing people passionate about things like this. Despite being a noble, Forrest always seemed like a sweet person to her. She wondered if Lethe nobility was less likely to create pretentious figures. Regardless, she needed to help Forrest with his problem, which she had no qualms doing. They quickly arrived at his dorm. Forrest opened the door for Dorothea, prompting her to smile.

"What a gentleman... some of the others here could learn from you."

Forrest laughed in response. "It's just how I am, I suppose."

She walked inside to find a rather well kept room, which was both surprising and not surprising to her. Even the threads and needles were well put together. She expected someone who on the regular made outfits to have a bit of a dirtier place with all the threads that he had to work with, yet at the same time she felt it was in character for him to keep a clean space. He seemed like a pretty put together person to her.

"Make yourself at home, Dorothea." Forrest told her.

She took a seat on the bed and crossed her legs. Forrest sat in a nearby chair and faced his desk. He picked up the dress and turned back to his classmate. "So, here's what I was working on." He flapped the dress to give her a better look of the whole thing.

"Aw, it's so cute!" Dorothea exclaimed.

Forrest grinned. "Why thank you! I just... feel it needs a little something. Like extra oomph, but I don't know what that could be..." His frown quickly returned as he thought about it.

Dorothea stood up and inspected it. She looked it up and down, seemingly deep in thought. Forrest stared at her, but didn't dare say anything. He didn't want to break her concentration. Though he did wonder how much she knew about things like this.

"Flowers maybe? Like maybe around the center or something?" She suggested.

Forrest rubbed his chin, taking Dorothea's thoughts into account. He placed the dress on the bed and imagined flowers on it. "I'm not sure... maybe?"

"Perhaps a dash of white somewhere?" She followed up.

"Hm... white..." Forrest seemed like he was getting lost in thought himself. Then it was as if a lightbulb went off in his head. "Wait... maybe white dots?"

"Oh that could work!"

He quickly grabbed a pair of scissors and started cutting circles into paper. He pulled the dress further onto the bed so the entire thing was on the same level. He then placed the circles onto the dress, and suddenly felt satisfied. "I think that's what I was missing!"

Dorothea clapped her hands together. "It does look great! Good job Forr!"

Forrest turned and smiled at her. "Thank you Dorothea! I couldn't have figured it out without you!"

Dorothea blushed then smiled. "Oh I didn't do anything..."

"Nonsense!" He argued. "Like you said, sometimes we just need a sounding board. Without you I may have spent all day on this!"

"Glad I could contribute then." Dorothea relented.

Forrest grabbed some thread and started working on adding the white dots. "You can stay if you'd like. I wouldn't mind having someone to talk to while I wrap this up."

"Sure." Dorothea sat back down on the bed as Forrest continued his work. She was glad that she could help the prince with his issue. It seemed that her eye for things like this had come in handy. The two continued to shoot the breeze and gossip about various topics from other students to other outfits. The two managed to hit it off rather well despite this being the first time they had a real conversation. Dorothea supposed Forrest was just that kind of person. A person that was easy to get along with.

Camilla did not regret coming to the monastery for a second. She got to be around her beloved Corrin and protect her. At the same time, she was slowly realizing that Corrin was growing up. She was a competent fighter, and seemed to be on her way to finding a girlfriend. She smiled sadly, proud of her but also sad that Corrin was entering a world where she wouldn't need Camilla as much. It didn't help that it was rather boring when Corrin didn't need her. There wasn't really anything to do around the monastery.

She supposed she could talk to the knights and other people who worked there. They weren't her coworkers, but there wasn't much reason for her to keep her distance. She supposed if Corrin was branching out, she could too. With a new resolve she decided to look for someone to talk to. She wandered around for a bit before hearing a panicked yell.

"FLAYN!"

Camilla ran to the source of the scream. She wondered if something happened to the young girl. She found the green haired man Seteth running near the pond. She had never seen the man so emotional.

"Flayn! Flayn...!" He repeated sounding more and more defeated.

Camilla ran up to the man. "Mr. Seteth? What's wrong with Flayn?"

Seteth looked up at the princess. "Lady Camilla... I can't find Flayn anywhere!"

"Oh no..." Camilla responded.

"If something has happened to her... I don't know what I'd do..." The man forced out as he looked downward.

Camilla studied the man's face. He had bags under his redish eyes, and his skin lacked color as well. It was clear that he had been at this for a while. She wouldn't be shocked if he was on the verge of collapse. "Mr. Seteth... I know you don't want to hear this, but maybe you should rest for a bit."

Seteth snapped his head towards her and glared. "Every second I spend resting is another second Flayn could be in danger! Just standing here talking is a waste!" He stood back up, but only barely. He started to walk away, but Camilla grabbed his wrist. "Listen... take a break. Say Flayn is in danger... What good will you be? You can barely walk, let alone hold a weapon. We'll get the students and the others to help you look. I'm sure if we all work together, we can find her."

Seteth paused, seemingly taking Camilla's words into consideration. "I... fine. My head knows you're right, even if my heart can't help but vehemently disagree. Besides, the more people helping the better."

"Here, put your arm around my shoulders. Let's get you to your office at the very least."

Seteth begrudgingly did as he was told. Camilla began to walk him back to the infirmary. She understood his pain, the risk of losing a loved one hurt exponentially. She could understand given what happened to Arete, Azura, and Mikoto. If the roles were reversed, she wasn't sure if she'd have listened. That was neither here nor there though. What was important to Camilla at the moment was making sure Seteth didn't work himself to the bone. They passed by a few students on the way there, and Camilla quickly filled them all in. Thankfully, no one objected to helping them find her.

Once they arrived at Manuela's infirmary, Camilla let go of him.

Manuela looked up at the two. "Is everything okay? What's wrong?"

"Miss Casagranda, is there any way you can keep an eye on Seteth?" Camilla asked. "Flayn is missing, and he's going to kill himself looking for her."

"Flayn is missing!?" Manuela exclaimed in surprise. "Wait, one thing at a time. I'll keep an eye on him. Come with me Seteth." She walked up to him and guided him to a nearby bed. Seteth sat down, seemingly fighting to not fall out right then and there.

Seteth laid his hands on the bed. He sighed deeply as his mind once again drifted to his sister. He could only pray that she was okay.

"I'll go do some searching. Please get some rest Mr. Seteth. I'm not sure if you can sleep like this, but at the very least lay down for a bit."

Seteth didn't say anything at first. He then looked up at her. "I will... try. Thank you Lady Camilla."

Camilla smiled. "It's no problem at all."

"Also... apologies for getting irate with you. I know you're just trying to help. Not to mention, it was unprofessional. Especially to a princess." Seteth's expression turned to guilt.

"Oh that? No problem." She waved her hand dismissively. "Thank you as well Miss Casagranda, for helping Mr. Seteth."

"Just doing my job." Manuela replied. "By the way, just Manuela is fine."

"As is Seteth." He added.

Camilla bowed. "I'll keep that in mind. With that, I'll be off."

"I am in your debt Lady Camilla..."

Camilla smiled again before walking away, leaving Manuela and Seteth alone.

Manuela turned to Seteth. "You've never been good at taking care of yourself. Especially when Flayn is in the equation. I understand how much you care for her but, take care of yourself too..." She reprimanded.

"I know..." Seteth replied with exasperation. "Not the first time I've been told that, I'm sure it won't be the last."

"Now..." Manuela gently took hold of Seteth and guided him downward. "Like Lady Camilla said, you need rest."

Seteth stared at the ceiling as he listened to the nurse. He hoped that he wouldn't be out for too long. Or that she'd be found while he was incapacitated, as unlikely as he figured it'd be. He really and truly wanted her to be safe, and to find out he was overreacting, but he didn't see that being likely either. He knew deep down that she was in some sort of danger, and that thought killed him. However, he knew that there was no way he'd be able to help right now. "Please... hang on Flayn..." He mumbled to himself before slowly falling asleep.

Corrin yawned as she continued to walk around. She did find it nice to be able to stretch her legs again. She found a bench and decided to sit down and fold her legs. She was a bit lost in her mind, thinking about future missions. She talked to Rhajat a bit about it, about killing. She knew that it would be incredibly difficult to fight and not kill. Even if she held back and didn't kill her targets, they could try and kill her friends, and if that happened she could never forgive herself. Not to mention she knew there was no way of convincing all of her classmates to not kill. She sighed, before being pulled out of her thoughts by what sounded like a branch snapping. She looked up at the sound, and saw Rhajat standing a bit of a distance away from her.

Corrin jumped a bit. "Oh, I didn't see you there Rhajat."

"Hello Corrin..." Rhajat replied.

"What are you doing here?" Corrin asked.

Rhajat started giggling. "Watching over you."

Corrin tilted her head. "What do you mean?"

"It's like I told you." Rhajat began. "I'll follow you anywhere."

"Oh." Corrin seemed to suddenly understand. "I see... Well, whatever makes you happy." She said with a shrug.

Rhajat looked a bit surprised. "You're... not weirded out?"

Corrin giggled a bit. "Maybe I would be if I didn't know you well. But I know you're a kind person. I know you'd never do anything weird or try to harm me. Besides, it means I'll always be safe. So don't worry about it."

Rhajat seemed a bit speechless. She knew no matter what she'd have to watch over Corrin, as thanks for saving her life. She didn't expect her to just accept it so readily.

"Well while you're here..." Corrin said, breaking the silence as she patted the seat next to her. "Let's hang out a bit."

Rhajat nodded and smiled. "Yes... yes I'd like that."
