God had returned, after centuries of him being gone. It had happened so suddenly that no one had time to react for the first few moments. One moment Emily was showing Sir Pentious to his new home after having to practically fight both Sera and Sir Peter to get his name properly archived after a week of practically hiding him away when he just suddenly appeared in front of them.

Literally, they'd blinked and there he was in his white and gold suit and hat. On his face was a large but warm smile while his four floating eyes winded as he viewed them. "Well now aren't you two a sight to behold."

Emily had never seen God before as she'd come to being after his...absence... but she'd been told of his appearance by Sera and the others. Not that she had to see him, his magic was so strong and pure that she was sure even the newest of winners could sense him. On instinct she bowed followed by Sir Pentious who removed his hat.

"Greetings God, I am Emily the seraphim of joy and this is Sir Pentious the first and hopefully not last redeemed sinner."

"a...a p-pllleeasssssssuuree Ssssss-iirree."

"A new seraphim and a snake as a redeemed sinner? Ha ha ha ha HA! This is fantastic news to hear! Come now Emily and my serpentine friend let's inform everyone of this." he simply snapped his fingers, and they found themselves in the grand chamber room. Moments later the other elders and councilmen were summoned as well looking a mixture of surprised, excited, and nervous. She even saw figures she hadn't seen in centuries such as Michal and Gaberial.

Of course, upon seeing it was their father that summoned them they became excited. "Father you've returned!"

"It's been eons!"

"Yes my sons I'm back, figured I'd given myself enough time, so I'd thought I'd get back to being with my family. Speaking of which I just found out I have a new family member. A young serahphim by the name of Emily. Anyone care to explain how she came to be? Not that I'm upset but I'm pretty sure I never created her." his eyes shot to each of his children before their eyes all turned to Sera.

"Well sir-"

His eyes narrowed and she remembered what he preferred to be called when only among his children. "-Father, her creation was my idea. You see a few centuries ago I felt Heaven could once again use a symbol of joy and light and so I used a small bit of my own soul to give life to her."

Hearing this Emily was shocked. Yes, she knew Sera had created her, but she'd never quite asked how. At least know she knew why she was so protective of her. So, Sera is my mother? Looking at the older Seraphim she thought about their past, how she'd raised her, loved her and after a moment of debate moved to hug her which her mother happily returned. "I'm still mad at you though...mom"

Sera held back her tears telling herself she'd do anything so long as Emily called her mom again.

God seeing this beamed with joy. "So, my daughter had a child of her own huh? That means I have a granddaughter! Well by me that makes me a grandpa!" Emily had barely blinked before being hugged by her grandpa.

In all of her many centuries she'd never been this excited or felt this much joy. Then again she'd enver thought she'd be spun around the room by an excited god.

"This is fantastic! Nothing is more important than family and I just found out I have a granddaughter!" it was then Emily remembered something. "Well, if I'm your granddaughter then you actually have two."

Sitting her down his eyes focused on her. "Run that by me again?"

"Well grandpa-" even her lips were feeling joy saying that. "You do have another granddaughter."

"Really!? Who? Where? I was sure I summoned all my children in Heaven. Is she down on Earth? What's her tittle? Sera did you have two? Or maybe you Michal? Possibly Gabriel or Uriel perhaps? Wait, is it Adams?" when he didn't get an answer he ralized Adam wasn't there. "Where is he by the way?"

Some of the elders were looking nervous and Gabriel was looking like he wanted to stop her while Michal just went rigid. "Well grandpa your other granddaughter is Charlie MorningStar the daughter of Lucifer."

Silence filled the room as God seemed utterly flabbergasted. "Lucifer had a kid? Lilith could get pregnant? No no I was sure I cursed her to be infertile...but then again with enough magic...but even then, it would have still been extremely difficult and painful...a child you say?"

"Yes, in fact she built a hotel in Hell to redeem sinners. To her every soul is worthy of redemption. She was actually here in Heaven a little while ago to pitch the hotel but..." her new mom was giving her pleading looks and Michal was looking furious as he remembered Adam's antics and how Sera had kept them in the dark for so long. "Well let's just say there wasn't enough evidence at the time, and she was sent back." Even now she hated how Adam had twisted the knife before forcing them out. God sensed there was more to this story, and he would get to the bottom of this.

Slithering forward Sir Pentious spoke up. "It's true god ssssir, Charlie is quite dedicated to redemption. That issss when ssshs's not ssinging about rainbows. Though I only knew her for a week I can ssssurrently sssay ssshe's quite the noble soul."

"Well now I'm really interested in her." snapping his fingers a large orb appeared showing the newly rebuilt Hazbin hotel before zooming into the penthouse where Vaggie sat on a stool in her nightgown wings spread looking bashful.

"So, this is Charlie huh? Why is she missing an eye? And why does she only have two wings?" he might have just found out about her, but he was worried and was about to summon her up when his other granddaughter spoke up.

"Actually grandpa, that's her girlfriend Vaggie, she's a former exorcist, one that was wrongfully punished and left down there." her eyes narrowed at Sera who had the decency to look ashamed. "Really now?" before he could ask more, he heard a lovely voice filled with happiness and innocence. Moments later his eyes widened upon seeing who he guessed was Charlie come into view. Clad in a simple red and black pajamas she walked up to Vaggie kissing her cheek before letting her long hair down. God couldn't take his eyes of her as for a moment was brought back to when he first discovered Lucifer and Lilith together.

Her father's complexion, her mother's height, slightly furry legs ending in hooves. Hooves? Well Lucifer did love to shapeshift, both their golden hair and that smile! The same smile Lucifer had when he showed me his latest animal design. Sure, hers does have more fang but it's still just as innocent.

"I see my special little angel is ready for her favorite part of the day."

"Please Charlie we both know you love this more than I do. Don't get me wrong I'm glad to have my wings back but I forgot how much care is needed."

"Well don't you worry because from now on I'll be taking care of them. In fact, Emily actually sent the gifts I bought in Heaven. I'd forgotten them what with Adam booting us out of heaven, but thankfully Emily found them and sent them down." Lifting the box Vaggie could already see the plushies in it. "Plushie Kola, plushie penguin, oh and plushie ducky, but that one is a gift for dad. Oh wait! Dad should join us!"

"Charlie wait I don't...and she's already running down the halls. Still can't believe I'm lucky enough to be loved by her. Maybe tomorrow I'll take her on a long flight, or maybe try cooking for her again? Last time I made nearly not burnt cookies." a minute later she returned dragging her excited father.

Emily gasped seeing Lucifer for the first time. From what pictures she'd been shown she thought he'd be engulfed in fire or blood but there he was looking less like the king of Hell and more like a goofy dad, mostly because he was wearing yellow duck themed pajamas complete with a pair of massive duck slippers.

Gabriel upon seeing this had to hold in his laughter while Michal rolled his eyes. God though simply smiled. I see you love of ducks is still on full display my son.

While back in hell Lucifer looked happy as Charlie sat him down next to Vaggie. "Evening Maggie."

"Vaggie" she corrected.

"Right right Vaggie. So, I take it Charlie loves your wings to?"

"Yeah." she didn't try to hide her blush as Charlie brought out something special. Something that Lucifer thought he'd never smell again. "Is that oil from Eden?"

"Yep! I remembered you mention that you missed heaven's oil so when I was shopping with Emily in heaven, she offered to send me a bottle." looking over the golden bottle she added. "Only issued to elders or higher ranked angels, well you do have six wings, so you technically still have the rank. That is if you still want me to, I know you'd prefer mom, and I know when I was a kid I accidently messed up once but I..."

In a flash all six of his wings were proudly displayed. "Charlie, nothing would bring me more pride."

In Heaven God saw his son wings and frowned a bit seeing his son's once beautiful white wings tinged with red and slightly frayed.

Oh Lucifer... seeing them he was reminded of watching him fall into Hell clutching Lilith. Watching as his wings began smoking as his once blue eyes turned red with anger.

As Charlie poured the golden liquid between her hands and went to work Lucifer felt the stress of ages slip off him. Asmodeus had done his best to make a similar oil but nothing beat the original. The scent brought back memories of his time as a young angel before Eden. The gentle touch brought him back to his sisters' preening him and the sheer joy when he heard Vaggie's moan as she switched to her made him remember seeing his brother get his turn.

However, what he failed to notice was magically laced oil reacting to his still golden blood. It had been so long even he'd forgotten the magical properties of this oil.

But Charlie and Vaggie saw, Emily saw, Michal and Gabriel gasped while God smiled as his wings were engulfed with golden light as they returned to their original pure white. Seeing this Vaggie secretly hoped her wings would react similarly.

"uhhmmmm I feel a thousand years younger." but that wasn't the end as when he opened his eyes Charlie saw they were no longer red but blue. "Uh dad?"

"Yeah Charlie?"

"You doing okay?"

"Yeah, why do you ask?" she pointed to his wings, and he was so surprised he jumped up looking over all six. "!" he quickly grabbed a mirror and saw his eyes. "Huh, been a while since they were blue... oh yeeeaaaah, the oil restores and revitalizes. Remembered them being brighter." he shrugged and dropped the mirror onto the bed. "But then again red is more my color now. Though I will admit my wings do look better white. Remind me to send...uhhh Emmary?"

"Emily" they both corrected. "Right, well 'll send Sera's kid a thank you ducky. Always wondered what Sera did with my essence, thought she'd make a new creature, but a kid is even better."

Both rooms went silent as his words sank in. Sera's wings fluttered nervously as the angles looked at her questioningly, Emily especially. Thankfully Vaggie asked the question they all had. "What do you mean by that sir?"

"Vaggie, you share a bed with my daughter, and she preens your wings. We're practically family so please call me dad."

"No." was her immediate and flat response.

He sighed but knew he'd get her to call him that soon. "Well eons ago, right before I was cast out Sera came to me asking for a small amount of my blood, feathers and magical essence. Told me she wanted to preserve me in case we never saw each other again. I'd forgotten all about it until I told her Charlie was born...actually now what I think about it I felt a magical pulse on that day. Like a small piece of me disappeared...ohhhhhh that was Emily being born. That makes sense now. Guess you two were born on the same day."

Emily's eyes were nearly popping out of her head hearing this. Then she heard her mother's voice. "I- I was never the most creative, a-and I only had a little and didn't want to fail so I used his essence around my soul bit and well..." she didn't need to finish.

Emily stared at her mother and to her father one thought passing through her mind. I'm part Lucifer...or at least his heavenly part.

She understood why she didn't tell her about her true origins now. Then she had another thought, one that made her heart dance with joy.

wwwaait, that means I'm related to Charlie! That's great!

Her excitement only grew when Vaggie asked another question. "Wait wait wait, if Emily is at least partially your daughter... and she and Charlie were born on the same day, does that make them sisters or cousins?"

Moments later two things happened in unison. The first was Vaggie and Sera clamping their ears closed, the second was Charlie and Vaggie screamed so loud beings in both worlds swore they heard it.

"SISTERS!" their voices were full of certainty and excitement as each girl couldn't and wouldn't see themselves any other way from now on. Charlie in her excitement transformed into her more demonic form her horns and tail sprouting as her eyes turned dark red as she happily hugged them both. God was surprised seeing her alternate form, but he did have to admit she didn't look monstrous, animalistic if anything but not monstrous. She'd look even better with wings though.

"I have a sister! Vaggie, I have a sister!"

"Yeah hon, I heard." then she grabbed her dad shaking him. "Why didn't you tell me I had a sister!?"

"I-I forgot?" he practically had to teleport out of her grip as she paced the room excitedly saying. "No wonder we get along so well we're practically twins! Wait, am I the younger? or older? Oh who cares, I have a sister! I got to tell her! Yeah-no wait heavens not to found of you...but I could send her a message."

While in Heaven Emily was mimicking a hummingbird as she flew around already imagining taking her new sister on a proper day in Heaven. "The zoo again? Maybe to the original fluffies? Or maybe just stay in and have one of those sleepovers I've heard about. Yeah, just her and me...maybe some junk food... I'm sure Se-mom would make an exception...eeeehhh! I have a mother and sister."

God could only stare as his multiple eyes took each took in his family. He'd been so upset with Lucifer before casting him out and so dejected afterward he'd receded where none could follow or contact him.

I'm back for less than an hour and find I have to lovely granddaughters, sisters technically, though they seem to love that even more.

He honestly thought this day couldn't get any better. Then he heard the words he thought he'd never hear. "You know Charlie if you're this happy about your sister then I could call in some favors and have you meet your aunts and uncles."

"I have aunts and uncles to!?"

"Yeah and well don't tell them I said this or they'll never let me live it down but they're pretty amazing."

His siblings tried to downplay their excitement, but each took a notable step forward. "Yeah, but don't get too excited. I mean I had to really beg Gabriel to get that meeting with Heaven and even then, he only really did it because he found out he was an uncle. Honestly, he was the only one besides Sera who still took my calls. Not that I blame them I never tried to extend the olive branch after... well after my not so graceful exit."

God saw how his wings slumped as he conjured images of them. "Michal, Gaberial, Sera, Uriel, Zadkiel, oh wait, Raphiel would for sure love to see you what with him being the angel of healing and you trying the whole redemption thing." each name brough a wave of nostalgia and regret. "I never meant to doom humanity; I was just mad I was left out of creating the world. I mean yeah now I can see some of my ideas were a bit dangerous, but I still think the floating islands could have worked! It's where the dragons would have lived."

Gabreil only grimaced remembering the giant yellow feathered protype Lucifer had made. It took us ages to remake that into something usable. What did the humans call them? Pterodactyls?

"So, I thought if humanity had free will they'd become even better. At least that's what your mother thought. I really just wanted to prove myself, but as the humans say pride goeth before the fall."

It hurt to remember but both Michal and God remembered how upset and hurt Lucifer had been after he'd been sidelined from creating the world. It was why Michal had begged their father to let Lucifer come up with some of the first creatures in Eden. They could still remember the smile when he spent weeks in his workshop before unveiling his waterquackers as he called them. Or how he later admitted to liking Adam's names of ducks.

Charlie having calmed down enough hugged her dad "Do you miss them?" he rarely talked about his life before Hell but listening to him now, it was clear he had mixed feelings.

"I'm not too proud to admit I do. Honestly given the chance I'd love to see them all again and introduce you to them. Maybe even get on speaking terms again. Especially dad, hell he'd be so ecstatic to find out you existed he'd probably-

Lucifer had been hallway through his sentence when God made his decision. His family had been separated long enough and he'd just heard that Lucifer wanted to at least in some capacity to make peace. Plus, he thought smiling. This will be amusing.

With one golden snap of his fingers all three of them found themselves right in the middle of the room before they had time to even blink.

"-summon us heeeeeeerrr...!"in his shock the king of hell upon seeing his family and most importantly his father staring back at him caused him to shoot to his feet only to slip and fall on his back. He'd barely blinked when he was lifted up by his brother Michal.

"I see you're still obsessed with ducks brother." Behind him Gabriel was smirking while Sera locked eyes with him before looking away her wings hiding her face. Then there was Emily who launched herself at Charlie picking her up and hugging her in excited dive.

Upon seeing his brother, his father and the massive orb showing the room he was just in and realizing they'd seen and heard everything the king of hell had one simple response. "Fuuuuuucck."
