-Two Days Later-

I just dried off from my shower, put on my robe - leaving it untied - and started putting a little product in my damp hair when I saw Loki appear in the mirror.

"You certainly are hard to get alone?"

I tied my robe and turned around. "You're not really here, are you?" I asked already know the answer.

"I'm afraid not Darling. The Grandmaster keeps you close and I take it that means something." He said with a disappointed look on his face.

"How are you alive?" I asked walking to my closest.

"Why are you here?" I heard the concern in his voice.

"I asked first." I looked through my various outfits.

"I faked my death. Why are you here?" He asked sternly. "Why aren't you on Midgard? Why aren't you home?"

"Home died with you." I said over my shoulder before going back to my wardrobe.

"Alexis…" He said quietly.

My bedroom doors flew open. Loki disappeared.

"Ah, good. You haven't dressed yet." I could hear the sleazy smile in his voice.

I clutched onto an outfit.

"Come here." He demanded.

"And if I say no?" I peered over my shoulder.

He pulled out a small rectangular device, "You know the answer to that."

I yanked the outfit off the hanger and headed over to The Grandmaster so he could fill his desire before one of useless fights to determine who would fit his champion in a week.

-Grandmaster's view box-

We entered the overlooking room, and everyone stared at me. The back of my dress covers most of my back but the front… The front nearly covered what was important. I might as well be naked.

I fixed The Grandmaster a drink and when I went to hand it to him, he grabbed my arm and pulled me to the floor. Leaning me against his legs.

"Sit and look pretty my dear, you deserve it." He said, stroking my hair.

~Loki's POV~

If it wouldn't jeopardize either of us, I would kill him for pulling her down like that. I still don't understand why she's here. She's not supposed to be here.

Gods that outfit... Too revealing for her in a public setting. She hates it. She certainly hides it well but she in fact, hates it.

Are those… Scars on her back?

"Something on your mind Loki?" The Grandmaster caught my attention.

I was staring.

"I was wondering when I'd see this Champion of yours. I might even consider myself a candidate to go against him." I quickly recovered.

Alexis laughed but tried to compose herself quickly. It wasn't enough as she fought off the electrical current that ran through her body.

I clenched my fists.

"I'm sorry." She apologized immediately, gasping for air.

"Take her." He tossed the device to me.

I caught it, confused.

"Sir?" I asked.

Surely this is a trap.

"She bores me." He kicked her away. "I can see the way she acts towards you bothers you. So deal with it how you see fit. Then you can keep her or discard her. I don't care." He relaxed into his seat.

I cautiously stood up and walked over to her. I grabbed her arm and forcefully pulled her up. We stood face to face. I looked to The Grandmaster, who nodded his head. I looked back to Alexis, thinking this was too easy.

Then she slapped me. I turned the knob on the device, only slightly.
