"Hold still." He said, taking the disk out of my neck. "Got it."

He held it out so I could see. I took it and examined it as he stood up and got me a glass of water.

"I can't believe this little device dictated my life these last two years." I held it up against the light.

"Two years?" He sat back down on the bed.

"Yeah." I looked him in the eyes. "Did you fake your death because of Him?"

"Did you leave Midgard because of Him?" He asked me, offering me to the water.

I took the water and drank it.

"No. We were near the end of a battle, I got hurt and I was saved. Then I ended up here." I took another drink then set the cup on the nightstand.

"What happened?"

I shook my head.

"I should have told you. You would have been-"

"Loki, stop." I place a hand on his chest. "Kiss me."

He brushed my hair out of my face and grabbed my neck, pulling me into a kiss. He took his other hand and grabbed my waist, pulling me closer, until I was in his lap. He grabbed the zipper on the back of my dress and pulled it down, then he ran his fingers down my spine while pulling the dress down. He ran his hands up my back and stopped.

The hurt look on his face told me everything. He started to trace every scar he felt. He placed soft kisses along my collarbone up to my shoulder. He rest his forehead on my shoulder and his hands on my hips. I cupped his face and lifted it up, meeting his eyes.

Tears fell down his cheeks.

"Loki." I said softly.

"I could have protected you. I didn't have to hide from you.why didn't I just walked through the door?" He moved me off his lap and stood up to walk away.

"Door… wait." I covered my chest with my arm then grabbed Loki's arm. "What do you mean?"

"You weren't easy to find. When I did find you, I was about to knock on your door but I saw Tony and heard him convinced you to go home."

I dug my fingers into his arm. But then I released his arm and sighed. "It's not your fault." I turned away, debating on finding new clothes or try to take a shower.

"Tell me what happened?" He asked running his finger down my back.

"I'm stubborn." He chuckled. "I was in the pit for about a year. Things got… Dangerous. I guess I caught The Grandmaster's eye and here I am a year later."

"Did he do this to you?" He asked in my ear, resting is hand on my waist.

"Like I said," I looked him in his eyes. He was stern, almost angry. "I'm stubborn."

He was breathing heavily. Angry at the thought that someone hurt me and he knew there was nothing he could do about it.

There was a knock on the door and a voice that yelled, "The Grandmaster asks for your presence!"

Loki rolled his eyes.

"Behave." I said and he smiled.

"Don't worry. I only misbehave for you." He kissed me. "I'll be back as quick as I can." And with that he left.

I grabbed an oversized t-shirt and went to take a shower. After my shower, I curled up under the covers of the bed and fell fast asleep.
