Everyone was shocked at Katana's declaration. "Both of the Raths? The king and queen?! That's too crazy!" Weiss cried out.

"That does seem like a lot to ask of somebody." Velvet agreed.

"It's fine. Uncle Qrow can totally do it! He once took a hundred Grimm with one arm tied behind his back!" Ruby declared excitedly.

Qrow chuckled. "I keep telling you, kiddo. It was both arms." He told her.

Summer rolled her eyes at this, but smiled. "You never stopped being a showoff, do you, Qrow? Still, if anyone can handle this, you can." She said.

"You know, hunters actually hunt these two as a pair pretty often. It's tough, but it's not ridiculously insane. We're still not on Elder Dragon levels yet." Razara told them.

"Yep. And don't forget, I won't be on my own. Isn't that right, Omen?" Qrow said, kneeling down and scratching the Ebony Odogaron's sides as the beast panted happily almost like an actual dog.

"I'm betting your monster will be the one doing all the work." Winter challenged.

"Best of luck Qrow. And be careful." Ozpin told him.

"After all the times I've tried to get you to be humble, don't let it be from a couple of flying lizards." Ironwood told him.

"Salem seemed to think you were always one of the biggest threats. Let's see if you live up to that." Cinder said.

"Alright, then. Let's do this." Qrow declared, stepping onto the pad, quickly being joined by Omen.

"Off you go, then." Katana told him, pressing the button and sending him into the simulation.

The former walking bad luck charm arrived in a camp in the Ancient Forest. After gathering the materials in the box, Qrow and Omen emerged in an open area in the lower part of the forest. "Alright, then. Shouldn't be too hard to find a couple of giant, flying dragons around here. Just gotta know where to look." Qrow said, starting to take a few steps. However, he heard Omen make a noise and turned around to see an Aptonoth corpse that had been torn into and mostly devoured. "Nice work, buddy." The Huntsman said as he approached his partner.

(If there's one thing we Odogaron have down, it's our smelling and tracking.) Omen mentally explained as he continued to sniff the carcass before looking up, sniffing the air, turning around and leaning forward slightly, his right front leg raised to imitate a pointer hound. (Got the scent. I can smell them from here.) The Wicked Claw Wyvern declared.

"Alright. I'm starting to see the benefit of this partner stuff. Then let's get going." Qrow said, turning into a bird and landing on Omen's head.

The Fanged Wyvern ran to the higher levels of the forest and found the two Raths up in their nest together, Omen leaping up and landing on Rathian's back, biting and tearing into the Queen's shell. As the Rathalos processed what happened and readied itself to defend its mate, Qrow flew into the air, before returning to his human form and came down on the King of the Skies with Harbinger, slashing the red Rath across his face with the blade.

Qrow tried to slash the Rathalos again, only for the King of the Skies to take to those skies, trying to breathe a small wave of fire from its mouth, forcing Qrow to jump back. The Rathalos then moved to attack the Ebony Odogaron attacking its Queen, but Qrow moved in the way and blasted the beast a few times with his shotgun, causing it to reel in the air a bit. However, after Omen managed to break the plates on her back with his repeated bites and slashing with his claws, the Rathian finally managed to throw off the Fanged Wyvern, flinging the monster into Qrow in the process. This then turned into a devastating double-whammy as the Rathalos then blasted both of them back with a fireball.

"Okay... So they make a decent team. We can do teamwork, too." Qrow said as they both got back up and rushed in at their opponents. The Rathalos flew forward in an attempt to slash them with its talons and therefor poison them, but the two of them evaded the attack, Qrow turning into a bird again and flying above its head, turning back to normal and bouncing off its head, throwing it off balance in the air, then coming down and slashing its tail, decently weakening it, before turning back to Rathian. Omen had charged ahead towards the Queen of the Land, evading the trio of fireballs the green Rath shot at him, before doing its backflip tail swipe attack, staggering the Flying Wyvern. Qrow then rushed in and capitalized on this with a slash to the beast's head, leaping out of the way in time as Omen came back in with a Dragon-charged bite, pushing the Rathian back more, before Qrow used his new Semblance to blast the Rathian in the face with aura feathers, breaking the Rathian's chin and sending her to the ground.

However, this enraged the Rathalos as it saw its mate being attacked, so it quickly flew over and shot a huge volley of fireballs at the two of them. Qrow managed to escape quickly by turning into a bird once again, but Omen was hit by some of the fireballs and tumbled across the ground. The Wicked Claw Wyvern was quick to get back up, but the Rathalos flew higher into the air, then slammed down on the Fanged Wyvern, biting at his neck as well. Thankfully, the crew had unlocked all their monsters' auras, so it was able to stand up to the bites for a time. And Qrow was quick to rush back in and slash the Rath across the face, breaking the plates on its head and such, before blasting it back with a few shots from his shotgun. However, the beast recovered surprisingly fast and snatched Qrow in his talons, flinging him back into a wall of downed trees.

Qrow recovered and glared up at the two Flying Wyverns as the Rathian was now getting back up. The former bad luck charm was about to rush in at them, before feeling a splash of water on his neck. Looking back, he could see a number of trickles of water coming from the small spaces in the openings of the wall of trees. "Well, now... These guys are getting a little heated, so this should be perfect to cool them off." He said, noting the Rathian rushing at him, before looking to Omen, who managed to rip some meat off of a Jagras corpse in the Raths' nest, charging it with Dragon Energy and flinging it in the Rathalos' face, causing the beast to go reeling, but didn't drop from the air. "Omen! Get him on the ground!" Qrow shouted.

(On it!) The Fanged Wyvern acknowledged, dodging a fireball from the King of the Skies, before leaping onto its back and sending it crashing to the ground and biting into its neck as it had done to him before.

Qrow smirked at this, before looking at the Rathian. "Alright. Come get me, princess." He taunted. The beast did indeed charge at him and swing it head to snap him up in her jaws, but he jumped back to the tree wall and pressed off it, launching over her and causing her to hit the tree wall, doing some damage and causing the openings inside it to be widened, more water freely pouring out. "Have a nice swim!" Qrow said, firing more aura feathers into the wall, the small explosions they created bringing down the wall and quite literally opening the floodgates, a tidal wave rushing forth and sweeping up the Rathian, knocking her down and sending her along with the wave. "Omen! Time to go!" Qrow shouted, turning into a bird and flying away. The Ebony Odogaron noticed the tidal wave as well and rushed past the reach of the wave just before he would be caught up in it. Unfortunately for the Rathalos, it wasn't able to recover in time and it, too, was knocked down and washed along with its Queen, all the way off the cliff at the end of their nesting site.

The Huntsman and Fanged Wyvern both looked over the edge of the cliff where the Raths had fallen. (They're tougher than that. They're not done yet.) Omen told his partner.

"Then let's finish this. Qrow said, turning into a bird and diving down to where the Flying Wyverns had fallen, while Omen leapt over the side, managing to find several footholds along the way in order to get down quickly, but without falling far enough to take damage. They soon arrived where the Raths had fallen and wasted now time, Qrow tossing Omen a large steak he'd gotten from the box, the beast eating it and supercharging itself, rushing in to ferociously lash out at the downed Flying Wyverns with its claws as Qrow turned his sword into a scythe and delivered a devastating barrage of strikes to the Raths, using some occasional aura feathers as well. Finally, the damage was too much and the King and Queen fell unconscious.

Qrow chuckled as he placed his sword on his back and petted Omen as he approached. "You did some good work out there, buddy. Grimm are gonna be like chew toys for you." He told the Fanged Wyvern.

(If it's easier than that, I'm almost not sure it's worth the energy it'd take to kill them.) The hellish hound said, snarling in a way to almost appear smirking.

Qrow chuckled at this, before looking up to the sky. "Hey, Katana! I think I won. Ready to come back whenever!" He called up to the host.

"Bringing you back now." Katana acknowledged, before the dusty old crow and his hellish hound were removed from the simulation.

Qrow and Omen then reappeared in the training room, where the Huntsman was quickly tackled by his nieces, hugging him tightly. "Uncle Qrow! You did awesome out there!" Ruby cried out.

"Yeah, you kicked some royal butt! Now Rathalos and Rathian and the king and queen of the dirt you made them eat!" Yang laughed.

Summer was next to walk up and deliver a light punch to Qrow's shoulder. "Pretty good job out there, Stilts. It was just like old times, watching you fight again." She said with a smile.

"I must admit, you worked together with your monster well." Ironwood said.

"Yeah! You were great out there, too, Omen! Thanks for keeping Uncle Qrow safe." Ruby said, hugging the Fanged Wyvern around the neck.

(Eh. I figured it wouldn't go over well if I didn't come back without the oaf.) Omen explained.

"You know you would've been an appetizer without me." Qrow told the Wicked Claw Wyvern.

"So, who's up next?" Pyrrha asked.

"Well, I thought-" Katana began, before Tekko and Razara suddenly kicked the doors open and staggered in, a bit bruised and banged up, the group only now realizing they hadn't been present for the fight. "My babies! What happened to you?! I thought you were here with us the whole time! When did you leave? And what did this to you?!" She asked, going into full "Overbearing Mom" mode, checking her daughters' injuries and temperature before treating their injuries, even though they were disappearing as she was treating them and even dumping the two of them into an ice bath to ease any sore or pulled muscles and tendons... After putting up an ice wall so the crew didn't see her daughters in a state of undress, of course.

"Mooom! Quit it!" They both whined.

"We're ice demons, anyway! This is just a regular bath for us!" Razara complained.

"Seriously, though, what happened to you two?" Cinder questioned.

"We got a message from Kamura village that they were under assault by the Rampage, so we went to help." Tekko explained.

"The Rampage? What's that? Sounds awesome!" Nora said.

"If you call a small army of monsters uncharacteristically working together to invade and decimate an innocent village, then sure." Razara said in annoyance, before sputtering as Katana dumped some more icy water over her and her sister.

"No way! Monsters really work together to attack a village! That's insane!" Blake said in shock.

"I'm with Nora, that sounds pretty epic! I bet it would be like those big, huge battles in fantasy movies where two armies battle to the death!" Yang said.

"Well, if you're so eager to try it out, then this might a mission you can all take on. Normally, the citizens and hunters of Kamura Village help out with the rampage, but I'm not bringing them all here just for a simulation they literally just went through in real life, so it's just gonna be you guys against a horde of monsters." Katana explained.

"So, basically an average Tuesday for us." Coco said.

"Good point." Katana admitted.

"But, don't forget, even some of the weakest monsters have proven to be more fearsome than all but the most massive Grimm." Ozpin pointed out.

"Still, it will be good practice for all of us, especially the students, for if and when we must face monsters in our own world." Glynda pointed out.

"Then, whenever you're ready, get on the platform... And get ready for war." Katana said dramatically.
