To Sara's surprise, Kibutsuji had somehow appeared behind her in a split second and she hadn't even noticed him or his presence.
"HOLY FUCKING SHIT, WHAT IN THE ACTUAL HEART ATTACK" Sara dramatically fell to the ground, hand on her chest. "Mr. Demon King? More like Mr. King Boo type shi"
The demon chuckled, amused by her theatrics. "Moon Breathing human. Are you even aware of the gravity of your latest actions?"
Sara nodded. "Yes, Mr. Demon King. I am aware of the gravity of my actions. I was desperate so I chose to be dramatic to get my point across".
Kibutsuji lightly rolled his eyes, though his grin never left his face. He was entertained and amused by her erratic behaviour. "What were you even thinking?"
"I was not thinking, Mr. Demon King, Sir" She put one of her wavy locks behind her ear in order for it not to cover her face.
"Clearly" he simply stated. "Whatever you wanted to speak with me must be very important for you to commit such follies. Now, tell me, human. What exactly drove you to this point?"
Sara straightened her back, determined to get her demands through. Heck, she had already punched him in the face and he was just there smiling. She had nothing to lose.
"Mr. Demon King, Sir. As you know, I have been captured here for a week"
"Get straight to the point, you suicidal brat" he crossed his arms, his tone was stern, even slightly venomous; but Sara could feel his playful aura.
"Right, straight to the point you say, you say" Sara mumbled more to herself than to him, though he still heard her perfectly. "I need my own room, clothes to change into aaand better food with more nutritional variety."
Kibutsuji was not responding, so she took it as a hint to continue. "My back hurts from sleeping on the floor. I have no bedsheets so I always wake up during my sleep feeling cold. Also, passing demons won't stop looking at me and it's weird. I need some sort of... you know... intimacy?"
The demon nodded. "Alright, keep going" he was really enjoying this, wasn't he? Sara could just feel it.Does this man really have nothing better to do?She thought to herself.
"As per my clothes... well. You might have noticed already since I threw my jacket on your face, but they are stinky. I need more changes of clothes, or the potential Demon Slayers that I train in the future will pass out due to smell intoxication".
He chuckled, listening to her earnest explanation. "What about the food? Is fruit not good enough? Its water content is high and they are very healthy."
"I highly doubt eating apples everyday will keep my health afloat. Neither for training with Kokushibo nor for training with the potential Demon Slayers." Sara was determined, as Kibutsuji was just listening to her intently and nodding.
"I see what you mean" he said, lightly nodding his head.
"So you surely understand why-" Sara was interrupted.
"The answer is no. I really couldn't care less" He replied, his smirk growing into a malicious grin.
It was Kibutsuji Muzan, the king of all demons. Of course it wouldn't be that easy.
"Come on, man. I even risked my ass punching you and running!" She crossed her arms, still paying attention to every single micro detail in his expression that might indicate he will either give in or beat her up.
"Let's see..." he spoke softly. "What do I get in return for providing you with those things?"
Sara tilted her head. This guy seriously wanted something out of her aside from the training he kidnapped her for in the first place? What could it possibly be?
"I will stop drawing a mustache and horns on your face in my imagination" Sara replied, making him chuckle, amused by her odd and irreverent reply.
"What can you do for me that might earn you those privileges?" He stood up from the closet where he was seated and walked towards her, barely leaving any personal space.
Sara laughed nervously. "What?" She backed away from him as he got closer. "I don't really know, what do you want?"
His grin grew as his distance from her decreased. Soon enough, he had her cornered against the wall. "I won't give you anything for free. What can you offer me?" He twirled one of her locks while locking his gaze with hers.
Sara stood there, frozen. What the heck was this man doing? She was terrified to say the least. What a disgusting creature! "I... I can do hair! I can sing! I can also do your makeup! I... I don't think you wear makeup now, do you?" She chuckled, nervously.
Muzan looked at her with a hint of surprise in his eyes. Truth be told, he was not expectingthatkind of answer. He was expecting somethingcompletelydifferent.
"I give really good scalp massages, you know" Sara chuckled. She tried to appear calm, but she was strugglinghardnot to poop her pants. She did not want this guy expecting anyweirdfavors from her.
"...scalp massages? Hair?" He was absolutely clueless about those things. He did not remember anyone doing his hair or giving him a scalp massage. It may have not been what he expected, but it did not sound like a bad deal at all.
Plus she said she could also sing. She could sing something relaxing to him. After all, he was having a stressful time afterbarelymaking it out alive fromthat terrifying man.
Sara was starting to get slightly concerned. Kibutsuji, still cornering her against the wall, was looking nowhere, unmoving and unresponsive. He blinked once every now and then, but he had fallen completely silent. She assumed that he was lost in thoughts. However, she did not have all day to stand there with him. She had some rights to fight for.
"Mr. Demon King... Sir?"
His eyes suddenly recovered their glow as he was snapped back into reality.
"Oh, right. Moon Breathing human. Let's make a deal" he said, looking directly into her eyes again.
"What deal might that be?" She kept her composure, but she was nervous about what this weirdo could be thinking of.
"Just something a bit... intimate"
What is up, my fellas? Here I am again, one more Monday, with a new chapter for The Glowing forest!
This strange guy wants to make a deal. Hopefully, it won't be too bad!
