Hi guys! This is my sixth chapter!

Of course, everyone by now knows the drill. No credits whatsoever go to me. Only my favorite author, Phyllis Reynolds Naylor.

But I do own Blake Jones and Abby Smith.

Enjoy!

Jake POV:

She's impossible, I thought. I looked around the lunch room for a empty table. Then I saw one, just across from me.

I walked over and sat down. I managed to get the last piece of cheese pizza. Delicious.

I saw Josh, Beth, and Eddie come out with plates. They walked over. "Hey, Jake. Can we sit here?" He asked.

"Sure. I don't care." I said.

But Eddie sat down with an angry look on her face, as she took a bite of her pepperoni pizza.

"What's up with her?" I asked Beth.

"Someone took the last piece of cheese pizza. She doesn't like any other kind of pizza." She said. "Once she came down with a fever, just eating two pieces of Hawaiian pizza."

"How does that happen?" Josh asked, confused.

"We don't really know. We're still confused ourselves." Beth said.

"Well, I happen to know who got the last piece of cheese pizza." I said, grinning.

Eddie looked over and glared at me. "You didn't." She seethed, narrowing her eyes at me.

I grinned even wider. "Oh, but I did." I said.

"That's it! I'm so sick of you!" She cried. And just like that, I had chicken salad all in my hair. It was all over the floor, my shirt, and even my shoes.

The teacher that was on lunch duty, came over and took Eddie to the principals office.

"Uh, that was unexpected." Josh said. "Really? Cause I don't think so. She was bound to blow sometime soon." Beth said.

"I also expected it, but I just wish it hadn't happened." I said, but then I started laughing. "She's definitely an original person."

"You got that right. She's one of a kind, that's for sure." Beth said, giggling.

Eddie POV:

Well here I am. Outside the principals office.

The principals assistant stuck her head out the door. "Mr. Loughton will see you now." She said.

I walked in the door. "Well, Miss Malloy, please take a seat." He said. "I understand that you dumped your chicken salad on Jake Hatford's head. Is that right?"

"Yes sir." I said, letting my head drop.

"Why did you?" He asked.

"Well, Jake always does things to mess with me. And he took the last piece of cheese pizza." I said, frowning.

"Hang on, let me get this right." Principal Loughton said, rubbing his eyelids. "You mean to tell me that the reason you dumped chicken salad on him was because he took the last slice of pizza?"

"Of cheese pizza, but yeah. That was why." I said.

"Ok, I'm just going to let you off with a warning, but please don't do this again." Principal Loughton said, laughing.

"Yes sir." I said.

"Alright, head on back to class now." He said.

I walked out the door and ran into Jake on my way out.

I decided to do the right thing and apologize.

"Hey, Jake. I'm sorry that I dumped my chicken salad on you." I said.

"Hey. Don't worry about it. It's ok. It's pretty funny if you think about it." He said, grinning.

"Ok, good. But I wonder what Caroline is doing right now." I said.

"I'm not sure. Probably acting out book scenes again." He said, laughing. I giggled at what he said. Mainly because it's honestly so true.

Wally POV:

"Hey, is it ready?" I asked Caroline who had just sat down next to me at the lunch table I'd picked out.

"If you're asking about the prank for Blake, then yes." She said, giggling.

"Well, what prank did you do?" I asked. "I'm really dying to know."

"Well, his hair will look like a rainbow, that's for sure." She said, grinning.

"Oh, man. What did you do?" I asked, grinning like a cat that ate a canary.

"Well, I figured out his locker combination. Then I put a confetti canon in his locker. But instead of confetti, I put a rainbow powder in it." Caroline said.

I laughed so hard and I couldn't stop. I honestly don't even know when Caroline started to laugh as well.

"I can't wait to see how he reacts to it." I said.

"Same here." Caroline said, grinning.

"When will it-" I was stopped mid sentence as a loud BANG! went off. We followed the sound of Blake yelling, and found him. He was covered from head to toe in a rainbow powder.

Caroline and I burst out laughing. Blake looked over and glared at us. "Why are you laughing, Hatford? Did you and miss genius have something to do with this?" He snapped.

"Oh no! You did not just call me miss genius!" Caroline said. She ran up to him and tackled him to the ground.

"Get off me! What are you doing? I said get off me!" Blake screamed, but Caroline sat down on his chest.

"Not a chance, buddy." Caroline said. I laughed so hard and I couldn't stop.

Beth POV:

Josh walked me to my next class.

"Hey, I'll see you later." I said, walking inside Room 203.

"Yeah, I'll see you later." He said, walking away.

I walked inside and took a seat beside a red haired girl. "Hi, I'm Beth Malloy." I said, introducing myself.

"Hi, Beth. I'm Amber Green. Are you new to our school?" She asked.

"Yeah. I'm new to the school. Do you want to be my friend?" I asked.

"Yeah, sure. I always like to get new friends." Amber said.

The bell rang and Mr. Anderson walked in. He's a tall, skinny guy, with brown hair and green eyes. "Shall we get started?" He asked.

In about 25 minutes, our class was done and we were heading home.

Since I'm a sophomore and can't drive yet, Eddie drives us home school. But this time was... somewhat different.

Jake's truck failed on them in the parking lot. So he and Josh had to ride home with us. But before we go home, we have to pick up Wally and Caroline from the middle school.

Then we have to go get Peter from the elementary school.

We texted Caroline to get Wally and come outside so we can get them. When they got in the car, they had smiles on their faces.

Like they would look at each other and just start randomly smiling.

Then we went and got Peter. "They had me learning multiplication. I hate math!" He complained the whole way home.

First it was about how a girl in his class stuck a "Kick Me!" paper on his back. Then about the multiplication.

"Peter, bud, that's the way the cookie crumbles." Jake said, then we all burst out laughing.
