Chapter 5:

Every Dog Has His Day...Just Not Today

***The Next day***

Yukikaze couldn't stop thinking about what had happened last night and how she had fantasized about her older brother while masturbating. She knew that it was wrong to think about him like that, but she just couldn't help herself. Every time she closed her eyes, she could see his face and hear his voice in her head. She tried to push these thoughts out of her mind, but no matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't seem to get them out. Her head was in the clouds during class, and she barely paid attention to anything that was being said. All she could think about was her older brother.

She was snapped out of her trance when she heard someone call her name.

"Yukikaze, are you okay?" Rinko asked.

Yukikaze looked over at Rinko and smiled. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a little tired, is all."

Rinko nodded her head and returned to her seat, but she was... worried for her best friend, as Yukikaze was usually a diligent student. Then again, from what her little brother had told her yesterday about the fight they had, maybe this could be the reason for Yukikaze's idleness...?

Up on the school's rooftop, Kaiser was lying on his back, staring at the clouds. He found this exercise relaxing and comforting as he let the world pass by him as his father would lay next to him as part of an exercise to help calm Kaiser down whenever he was frustrated with something. They both would watch the clouds talking about things like life problems, philosophy, family, and hobbies.

He was thinking about last night and what he saw and did.

He knew that a son shouldn't have those kinds of feelings about their mother, but he knew deep down that Shiranui was more than a mother to him... She was his savior and a woman who he owed his life to, but not only that, but the fact that he also lusted after his little sister, whom he had sworn to protect as well as make her happy. His love for his family had turned into lust over time, and he felt like he was betraying his adoptive father's memory.

He just wanted things to go back to the way they were with all of them being happy and enjoying that happiness together...but things never turn out the way they are supposed to as Kaiser broke out of his reverie and called out on an empty school rooftop.

"You can stop hiding now... I know you are there." Kaiser said it out loud.

"Crap, how did he find us so quickly?" A whiney feminine voice said.

"Maybe this wasn't such a good idea... I mean, what if Fuuma-chan finds out?" Said another feminine voice that was equally as worried. From the shadows, two figures appeared that were Shikanosuke and Hebiko.

Kaiser looked at them with a serious look as he said, "Umm, who are you again?"

As soon as he said that, both of them face planted as they yelled out at the same time. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN, 'WHO ARE YOU'?! HOW COULD YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN ABOUT US ALREADY!"

Kaiser scratched his head trying to remember their faces until he snapped his finger and finally remembered, "Oh right, your those two, That Spunky Girl and Shorty, right?" Kaiser said bluntly as the two stooges got even angrier at him.

"I'M A BOY!/I'M NOT THAT SHORT!" They both yelled at the same time.

"Uh huh, so what do you shrimps want?" Kaiser asked, already tired of the peanut gallery.

Shikanosuke spoke up first, "W-Well we wanted to talk to you about yesterday."

"What about it?" Kaiser asked, not really caring about the answer.

Hebiko answered this time, "Well, you see, we were wondering if you would like to join the Independent Rangers with us."

"No," Kaiser said flat out.

"W-what why!?" Shikanosuke asked, shocked at his response.

"Because I don't want to." Kaiser replied bluntly.

"But why?! You are supposed to be some hotshot elite Taimanin, and yet you won't even help us?" Shikanosuke said angrily.

"Because I don't want to." Kaiser said again as he started to lose his temper.

"Why not!?" Hebiko asked this time.

Kaiser looked at them both as he said, "Because I am not some Dog to be sic'd on to others, I have no interest in fighting in some kiddie club, and I am not interested in training with brats who can't handle their own problems." Kaiser said as he knew these two wouldn't stand a minute against him.

Shikanosuke spoke up first, as he had a defiant look on his face. "Well, we won't leave until you prove to us that you are strong. Right, Hebiko!" Shikanosuke said as the femboy looked worryingly at Hebiko for backup.

"Y-yeah we're not t-that weak. We're a-a-part of the Independent Rangers, so that means w-we are the E-Elite of the Elite." Hebiko said in an unconvincing manner as her legs were shaking.

Kaiser just sighed as he turned his back on them.

"Listen here, you little shits. I can clearly see that Kotaro only picked you 2 to join his little club because you both are so loyal to him, but I recommend that you turn back and leave while you still can... The world outside of Gosha Village is cruel and uncaring for the weak." Kaiser said as he walked away from the two Taimanin.

"I'm not afraid of anything or anyone!" Shikanosuke yelled out after him, "I will become stronger no matter what it takes! I will prove myself to everyone and be a true Taimanin!"

Hebiko looked at her friend with worry as she spoke up, "Shika-kun, you know we can't stay here forever."

Kaiser stopped as he heard Shikanosuke's declaration, "1 minute...If you can last against me for 1 minute. I'll reconsider your offer to join the Independent Rangers." Kaiser said as he turned around and faced the two Taimanin.

"What!?" They both said it in unison.

"You heard me; if you can last for one whole minute against me, then I will join your little stupid club." Kaiser said as he cracked his knuckles.

Shikanosuke looked at Hebiko with a determined look on his face as he said, "You heard him, Hebiko, let's do this!"

Shikanosuke drew out his shurkiens as he charged towards Kaiser recklessly.

"H-hey wait, Shika-kun! We don't know what he is capable of!" Hebiko yelled out, but it was too late, as Shikanosuke had already engaged Kaiser in combat.

"I'll show you how strong I really am!" Shikanosuke said as he threw his shuriken at Kaiser, who was unarmed.

Kaiser just stood there and watched as the spinning blades came right at him. Kaiser then, with his bare hands, swiftly slapped them away while dodging a few as he used as few movements as possible.

"Not bad...but your missing something. Ah, that's it... The Intent to Kill." Kaiser, in one step, covered the distance between him and Shikanosuke as he used his other hand to gut punch Shikanosuke, which sent him flying across the roof.

Kaiser then walked slowly towards Hebiko while exuding his ravaging bloodlust towards her. "If you have no intent to kill, you might as well let yourselves die because out there...It's kill or be Killed." Kaiser said coldly.

Hebiko looked at her friend, who was lying on the ground in pain, and knew that she wouldn't last long against Kaiser. She then turned back to Kaiser and said, "H-Hebiko doesn't want to die yet! But I can't just stand by and watch my friend get hurt!"

Hebiko then pulled out two Ninjato blades from her back and charged towards Kaiser.

Kaiser just stood with his arms crossed as Hebiko came charging at him with her swords. She tried to stab and cut him, but Kaiser merely redirected the blades away with a single fluid countermove that looked like water flowing past a stone as Hebiko's defense was open. Hebiko stood dumbfounded as chop hit her on the back of her neck, effectively knocking her out.

"Huh...well, that was boring. Well, you heard me, quit while you're still alive, pipsqueaks. I got no time for some sniveling weaklings." Kaiser said in a disappointed tone.

As he was walking away, he heard a sound behind him as he saw Shikanosuke get up again.

"You got some guts, kid; I like that." Kaiser said as he had a feral grin on his face.

Shikanosuke looked at Kaiser with a determined look on his face and said, "I'm not gonna let you walk all over us! We may be young, but we are Taimanin! You better watch your back because one day I will become stronger than you!" Shikanosuke yelled as he charged towards Kaiser.

Kaiser just sighed and said, "Fine, have it your way."

With that, Kaiser let Shikanosuke hit him in the stomach with his fist as the young femboy felt he was hitting a solid steel wall as Kaiser stood unimpressed by Shikanosuke's strength. Kaiser, with one swift kick, hit Shikanosuke in the stomach, sending him flying once again. Shikanosuke lay there on the ground gasping for air while Kaiser walked over to him. He then picked up Shikanosuke by his collar and stared into his eyes.

"You really think you can beat me?" Kaiser asked coldly. Shikanosuke was too weak to speak, so all he could do was stare at Kaiser without fear. "Hehehe, you got courage, Kid... but you're gonna need more than that to survive out there... because I've seen it all... the Darkness... the Corruption, that is devouring this world." Kaiser said as he reared his fist back as he punched Shikanosuke in the face. The blow caused Shikanosuke to see stars for a moment as Kaiser kept punching the young boy in the face.

This continues for a while until he hears someone shout at him.

"STOP!"

Kaiser held back his last punch as he put the bruised and beaten Shikanosuke down as he saw Kotaro standing there carrying an unconscious Hebiko.

"What are you doing here?" Kaiser asked with an annoyed tone.

Kotaro looked at Kaiser with a stern look on his face and said, "I was just about to ask you the same question! What do you think you're doing to my friends!?" Kotaro yelled back.

Kaiser just laughed and said, "Well, I was just helping your stooges get stronger. They were asking for it." Kaiser replied in a mocking tone. "Next time, keep your groupies on a tighter leash, or else I'm not responsible for what happens to them."

Kaiser gave Kotaro a smug, condescending smile as he proceeded to walk away towards the school's rooftop exit, "But I can't lie... you have some really good friends, Kotaro...you better not lose them."

Kaiser tone carried a yearningl and...lonely tone as he left the rooftop.

Kotaro sighs knowing that his plan to recruit Kaiser has gone astray, but still... maybe there was still a chance before someone else tried to snatch him.

As Kaiser made his way down stairs and to his next class, thinking about what he had just done, Normally, Kaiser wouldn't pick or even entertain the thought of fighting people who were weaker than him, as it always left a bad taste in his mouth, but he had lost his cool, and if his father was still alive, he would've been disappointed in him as to how he handled that encounter.

There was so much going through Kaiser's mind with everything going on that others tend to forget...he was still just a boy trying to figure out his way in a world that was in chaos.

Kaiser kept walking until he saw a mop of bright brown hair down the hall that made him turn around and try to leave before the owner of said hair took notice of him.

"Huh?... Oh, Hey Kai-kun~" said a voice that belonged to Asuka Koukawa.

Kaiser stopped in his tracks and sighs as he turns to face her with a blank expression on his face.

"Hey Asuka...whats up?" He asked, trying to sound as calm as possible.

Asuka just smiled at him and said, "Well, I wanted to ask you something."

Kaiser looked at her with an eyebrow raised and replied, "And what would that be?"

Asuka then walked over to Kaiser and put her arm around his shoulder while she whispered into his ear. "You. Me. Tonight..."

Kaiser's face turned red as his body went rigid and stiff; he was not good with women who were very forward with him, and Asuka knew what buttons to push on him.

"Uhhh...I-I d-don't know about that...ummm, I-I..." Kaiser was stuttering.

Asuka just giggled and said, "Come on, Kai-kun~ it will be fun! We can hang out together!" She gave him a seductive smile as she moved closer to him.

"Ummm uhhhhh...A-Asuka I-I don't think that w-we should do this right now." Kaiser was sweating bullets at this point and trying to get away from Asuka. " I-I mean, there are people watching and..."

Before Kaiser could finish, another voice interrupted him.

"Asuka! Come on, stop wasting your time with this Loser... Geez, I don't why you even want to hook up with this lame guy."

As soon as Kaiser heard this voice, his attitude did a complete change as he went from Shy and Meek to Rude and Ornery when he saw the form of Kiara Onisaki.

"Tch..." Kaiser clicked his tongue as he had a scowl on his face. "Wha'd ya want Cow Tits? Can't ya see I'm busy here?"

Kaiser said with disdain as he faced his so-called 'mortal' enemy. For whatever reason, he and Kirara could never get along, as she was a misandrist who distrusted men in general as beasts, while Kaiser was always looking for ways to antagonize her as he felt some sort of animosity towards her that he couldn't explain.

Kirara just scoffed at Kaiser's comment and replied back with the same amount of disdain in her voice, "Hmph! Don't call me cow tits, you dumbass Mad Dog!" She then turned away from Kaiser and started to walk away before she stopped and looked over her shoulder and said, "Asuka, if your done wasting time with this Loser come join us. We are going to go hang out at that Karaoke place tonight."

Kaiser's scowl never left his face as he flipped off Kirara while her back was turned. "Fucking cunt...well, it seems you already have plans... maybe next time, Asuka." Kaiser said, going back to his normal personality as he focused his attention back on Asuka.

"It's ok, Kai-kun. I know that Kiara can be a bit much sometimes, but she is really nice once you get to know her." Asuka said with an awkward smile on her face.

"Yeah, well... whatever, you should probably catch up with Kirara; you know how she hates waiting." Kaiser said with a sigh as he knew that if he didn't leave soon, he would snap from all the stress he was dealing with.

"I'll probably see you later or something...well...umm...it was nice seeing you, Asuka." Kaiser said with a tired smile, as he never disliked Asuka; he just didn't know how to deal with her forwardness sometimes.

***After School***

It had been 7 years since Kaiser had wandered into Gosha village with no memories as to how he got there, and in those seven years he has been trying to find ways to regain his lost memories, but unfortunately, he hasn't been able to find anything to help him. The only thing he had to go off of was the Sigil tattooed on his right arm that read "Wrath" from an unknown language that doesn't seem to exist on any human records.

Kaiser had always wondered who he was and if he had a real family out there who missed him. That is to say he wasn't dissatisfied with his adoptive family, but thoughts like those were common among orphaned children.

Kaiser was walking through the streets of Gosha Village after school brooding as he was just frustrated with everything today. He noticed that it was late afternoon, so he decided to stop at one of his and Yukikaze's favorite sweet shop stands, Inageya.

Kaiser ordered some dango from the old lady, Inage, who ran the stand. Kaiser sat down at one of the tables outside to enjoy his meal. As he ate, he couldn't help but think about how much things have changed since he first came here all those years ago. Back then, he was just a hollow shell who remembered nothing and was nothing until Shiranui gave him a home as well as family.

As Kaiser ate his dango, Inage took a seat across from him as they both watched people pass by.

"So, Boy, what brings you into my shop today without your little sister?" She asked as she took a drag of smoke from her pipe.

"Well, Yuki has her swim team practice after school today, and I just felt like satisfying my sweet tooth today, Inage-san." Kaiser said respectfully, as Inage Natsu was one of the few people whom he respected, as she would give him and Yukikaze free ice cream since they were kids, as well as being incredibly strong that Kaiser has yet to win a match against her.

"You know you can call me Natsu, right? You've been calling me that for years now." She said with a chuckle as she remembered when she first met him. He had come up to her asking if he could have some candy for his little sister and trying to pay for it only to come out short. It was then that the boy offered her his body to pay for the candy before Natsu laughed at the young Kaiser. She gave the candy to the boy as she said that she'd treat this as a favor for the future before seeing the young boy run from her stand back to his little sister sharing it with her.

"I remember when you used to be so shy around me back then. It feels like only yesterday that I first met you." She said it with a smile.

"Yeah, it's hard to believe that was over 7 years ago, huh? Time really does fly." Kaiser said with nostalgia.

He was so different back then as he wasn't as outspoken nor rebellious, but after his adoptive father's death, Kaiser had to change and started to act out more as he had to become more assertive to look out for his adoptive family as he could no longer stand aside while things happen to them. It was only after his adoptive mother was kidnapped that Kaiser became more confident and rebellious towards authority, which eventually made him into the young man he is today.

"So, how are things going between you and Yukikaze?" Inage asked curiously as she took another drag of her pipe.

"She has grown up into a very kind and caring individual. She is a wonderful role model for others and an incredible example of what an individual can accomplish through hard work and dedication. Her father would be so proud of her right... (sigh), which makes me wonder sometimes that my being around is causing her trouble... would Kenichi approve of the things I have done?" Kaiser said with a sigh.

"Do you doubt your actions or choices, Kaiser?" Inage asked, trying to understand his doubts.

"No, I don't. The path that I have chosen is my own, and while I would like to have someone to share the burden with, I must take full responsibility for the actions that I have taken." Kaiser said with a determined tone.

"Then why are you doubting yourself?" Inage asked, pressing him further.

"Maybe. There are moments when I can't help but feel guilt for the harm that I have caused and question my actions. How would Kenichi handle things? Would he have done half of the things I did in order to save his family? Sometimes it seems that the only thing I know how to do is break things." Kaiser said with a chuckle at his own self-depreciation.

"These are questions that we all have to ask ourselves. Kenichi had his fair share of doubts and mistakes, but he made the right choices at the right times." Inage said, trying to reassure him. "What you should not worry about is how Kenichi would do things or even the thoughts of a man that is long dead; instead, you are growing into the role that you have always known you should fill. You are a protector, a shield to keep those you care about safe. This is not something to be ashamed of. Your actions are those of one who cares deeply and puts the well-being of others before their own. A quality that your adoptive mother certainly seems to have instilled in you."

"Even after the fact that I have killed so many, maybe even hundreds... it doesn't make me a good person. There are times when I am filled with hatred and anger as I think about the evil and corruption in this world... I can sometimes feel it gnaw at me, like a rabid hound that just wanted to bite everything around him and go mad. This Bloodlust... it has always been with me, even before I lost my memories." Kaiser said with a slight shiver and a far-off look in his eyes, which was not lost on Inage. "It's like the person I was before was someone who craved violence and bloodshed."

"That feeling of bloodlust, you have described, is a natural part of human existence. It is the animalistic urge to survive, to take what is yours and protect what you hold dear. In a sense, that urge is not evil but just a natural expression of what is in our blood. However, if allowed to fester and grow unchecked, it can lead to terrible violence and chaos." Inage took another drag from her pipe as she gently blew out the smoke from her lips as the wisps took the form of a tree fading into the wind. "If you have doubts or questions, then ask yourself why you are acting this way. Is it because of a conscious desire or reaction to your environment or simply because your body has learned how to respond to stimulus without much conscious thought? If you can truly think about the motives and reasoning behind your decisions and behaviors, then you are making informed choices and not following any subconscious impulses."

Kaiser was silent as he was processing the words from this woman, who always knew the right answers. Granted, he had his mother and sister to confide in, but he didn't want them to know the dark thoughts or impulses he had from time to time, as he knew that the image they had of him was to be a noble and gentle person, not some sadistic or bloodthirsty lunatic.

"You are not alone, Kaiser. Everybody feels doubts and uncertainties from time to time. What matters is what you choose to do with those feelings and how you carry on. I believe that Kenichi would be proud of you and what you are doing, but only you can know for sure. One thing that I would say is that there is no easy path and you cannot change who you were before you met him, but even without your memories, you have gained much from experiences that you have had and have come to appreciate the value and importance of life." Inage gave him a warm smile and a pat on the shoulder as a way to encourage him. "You are not just a killer but a thinking, feeling being, and while I can't claim to know your past or what drives you, Kaiser, I can say that the choices you have made, whether in the past or now, have brought you to where you are today. Asking questions and understanding your emotions are not something to be ashamed of. Just remember that you are human, and that is something that you can learn. This is what it means to be a Taimanin."

"Hmmm," Kaiser paused as he tried to digest the words as Inage gave him a knowing smile. He had a feeling that this woman had experienced a lot more than she was letting on and had also lived through similar situations. She was a very intelligent and insightful woman but also had a certain wisdom and compassion to her that he didn't quite understand. It made him wonder if there was more to her words and her advice than what he was seeing at the moment or if there was some hidden purpose to her teachings and wisdom. He felt a small sense of kinship with Inage, as they were both older people who had experienced many things and were now trying to find their place in a world that was changing at a rapid pace.

"It's a saying that was often used in Japan, and it speaks to the idea that we don't grow stronger by avoiding adversity but rather by facing it." Inage continued with a warm smile. "And Kaiser, you are going through a lot right now and have experienced a great deal more than most people would ever have to, but you are making a difference in the world by fighting the good fight and not letting yourself be consumed by anger and hatred that may lead to the downfall of everything that is good. So, go forward with your heart as your compass, and do not allow doubt and guilt to consume you."

Kaiser didn't have any plans other than killing demons, while Yukikaze would be the next head of the Mizuki Clan, which meant she would be given a huge amount of responsibilities that he couldn't help her with since he wasn't of Mizuki nor Taimanin Blood, but after his talk with Inage, he felt an unwavering sense of obligation towards Yukikaze and felt a strong connection with her. After his own experiences as an Amnesiac, Kaiser realized that the Taimanin life was filled with pain, hardship, and sacrifice, but it was also a life of purpose and the ultimate struggle for freedom and justice, which they fought for.

"Is there anything else I can help you with?" Inage asked gently as she noticed that Kaiser seemed lost in thought for a moment.

Inage knew that Kaiser, beyond his rough exterior, was a loving and kind boy who always wanted those he cared for to be happy, even at his own expense, as he acted with the best intentions for those who he loved. It was part of the reason why she threw her lot in with other more progressive Taimanin clans; even after she had retired and stepped away from the politics of the clans, she had found the Amnesiac Outsider Boy... interesting, to say the least. When Kaiser was about to be executed for disobeying the Laws and Rules of the Elder's Council and Japanese Government, Inage saw it was done all out of love for his adoptive mother, whom he had to rescue even if it meant his death. Hell, if it weren't for Shiranui coming to ask her for help and the other clans to help save her beloved adopted son, she would have gone and personally helped the boy escape...and maybe even taken him for herself if she could be allowed to fancy that thought.

"Yeah, I guess you are right, Natsu-san... but I just don't want to cause Yukikaze any trouble or get in between her and her mother's happiness." Kaiser said as he took another bite of his Dango.

He knew that Inage was one of the few people he could talk to about these things without worrying about being judged. The old woman had been there since before he was just a kid, and she treated him like a grandson, always being a kind and helpful person that Kaiser had thought of her as a mentor of sorts. She had encouraged and helped him in his studies and training, even though he had no memories of his past and could only rely on her guidance and experience in matters of the spirit and heart.

"You know that is not what Shiranui wants either, right?" Inage said to Kaiser before gently puffing out the smoke from her pipe.

"Huh? What do you mean, Natsu-san?" Kaiser asked curiously.

"Shiranui loves you like a son, and she doesn't want to see you hurt, but your mother also knows that Yukikaze cares for you deeply too. She just wishes that you two would sort your feelings out." Inage explained with a sigh. "She is worried that you'll start pushing her and Yukikaze away and that you will eventually grow apart or end up hurting each other in some way. You are both young, still learning while exploring your own feelings and figuring out what you want."

"But why is Shiranui worried so much that's it'll turn into a disaster; it's me being here a problem?" Kaiser questioned further.

"It's a mother's prerogative to worry. But you are important to her too, Kaiser; you've been a great help to the both of them in your own way by being the one who stands when things get rough... After Kenichi died, your mother was devastated, but the only thing that kept her grounded was you and Yukikaze." Inage added.

"But...but I thought that she was trying to find revenge for dad's death?" Kaiser asked, confused as to what really happened after his adopted father's death.

"No, boy... she was just trying to protect the family she had left... with the only two people she had left was you, her son, and her daughter, Yukikaze." Inage said as she had a sad look. "She was looking for answers, trying to find a reason why Kenichi had been taken from her. She had nothing else to hold on to fill that void other than anger, hurt, and lashing out for a target to put all of her pain and anger into, to punish the person who had killed him."

"What? But I don't understand... I mean, I know I had a strong desire for revenge, to make the people responsible for my dad's death pay for what they did." Kaiser said softly.

"But you didn't, did you?" Inage responded as she saw Kaiser look at her in shock.

"Of course not! I couldn't abandon my family for revenge... Yukikaze...Shiranui...I had to help them." Kaiser paused as he thought over this new information.

"Your mother was lost, wandering, trying to figure out how to move on without her husband, but her world slowly began to return with her finding a way to cope with his death by making sure you and Yukikaze found your own way and happiness. Now you know the truth, and I think that she would feel better about it if you let her know how you feel." Inage smiled kindly at Kaiser, hoping he would take her words to heart.

Kaiser nodded slowly and pondered over what Inage was saying. He could understand what Natsu-san was getting at, and he didn't want to lose his adoptive mother, or Yukikaze. He had seen how his family had been torn apart, seeing Yukikaze depressed and his mother suffering alone. He had to do something, so he left to go look for his mom and rescue her from Under Eden because Kaiser had made a promise to fix everything. He had always felt a fondness for his adoptive mother, and even after everything that had happened, she had always been a calming and understanding presence in his life. He knew that she was just worried about him not having anyone to turn to or share his feelings with, and he had often felt the same for Yukikaze as well. It wasn't until recently that he had started to have more romantic and sexual thoughts and feelings for his adoptive sister, which he had never felt quite right about, but... he didn't regret his feelings or the love he had for them.

"So you think I should talk to Yukikaze and Shiranui about these feelings and what I want?" Kaiser asked, still unsure where the conversation was going. "Hmmm, that makes sense, I suppose."

"Yes, I think that would be the best way to approach it. I know it is difficult when it comes to matters of the heart, but if you really care for your family, and I know you do, you need to do something and take a risk."

Kaiser listened to Inage's word carefully, as the old woman always gave him good advice and never once steered him wrong.

"(Sigh)... You always seem to know what to say and have been able to read me like an open book sometimes, Inage-san. I sometimes wonder who I was and where I came from. I always wonder if I had a real family or if I even belong here... I sometimes think that people would be happier if I just left." Kaiser said with a sad look on his face. "But... none of that matters because... I'm glad I had a chance to meet everyone in Gosha Village. I met you, Rinko, Yukikaze, Tatsuro, Kenichi, Shiranui, and all of the other Taimanin. I want to keep fighting alongside them and protect them, even if I end up losing in the end."

Inage got up from her chair and walked over to Kaiser before giving him a hug.

"You know that you are welcome here no matter what, right?" Inage asked as she looked at Kaiser.

"Yeah, I know Natsu-san." Kaiser replied. "Thank you for your wisdom."

"You and Yukikaze are like grandchildren to me, and Shiranui is like a daughter to me. I don't care if we aren't related by blood or anything else. So never think that you are not worth anyone's love or kindness." Inage said as she could understand that Kaiser was still young and still prone to making foolish mistakes, as all young people tend to do, but he always tries to face his problems head-on without fear or doubt. It was these traits that made him a person that she took a personal interest in, as she could see the potential he had within him.

"Natsu-san... Thank you. Sometimes you're the only person I can share these thoughts with... I don't want to worry my family with my thoughts, and I don't have any friends, so you're the only person I know that I can talk to about my problems. If there is anything you need, please don't hesitate to ask." Kaiser said as he wanted to repay all the advice, kindness, and sweets this woman has given him.

"Hmph! You're such a sweet boy when you put your mind to it!" Inage exclaimed as she gave Kaiser another hug. "Now get back home before Shiranui gets angry at me for keeping you here too long!"

Kaiser just laughed and got up from his seat. He then turned around and bowed to the old woman. "Thank you again, Inage-san."

"You're welcome, Dearie, now off with you!" Inage replied with a wave of her hand.

Kaiser left the store and started walking down the street towards his home. He was lost in thought about what Inage told him earlier today.

As he walked through town, he saw many people stop what they were doing to look at him. Some would even point and whisper amongst themselves. It was no surprise that people stared at him; after all, he was the "Mad Dog of Ruin" and the "Disgrace of the Mizuki's," as he was quite the sight to see. Kaiser was taller than most boys his age, and with his foreign features—his bronze-tanned skin, Mediterranean facial appearance, green eyes, and light almond brown hair—one could tell he was not Japanese. His body was covered in scars and burns, with most of them healed. He was an Outsider and they did nothing to hide the fact that he didn't belong here... Kaiser always felt like he didn't belong anywhere and only found comfort on the battlefield, where death and carnage were his only companions. Kaiser scowled as he scared off some of the onlookers to mind their own business as the sky began to gray, alerting everyone that there was a storm brewing.

He finally made it back home and went inside. He was greeted by a familiar voice calling out to him.

"Welcome home, Onii-chan!"

It was Yukikaze; she ran up to him and gave him a hug. She then proceeded to kiss him on the cheek. This caused Kaiser's face to turn red with embarrassment.

"Hey! What are you doing, lil' sis?" He said as he gently pushed her away.

"What? I just wanted to say hi." Yukikaze replied with a pout on her face.

Kaiser was confused as he remembers that they stopped kissing each other on the cheek when Yukikaze turned 15. She said it was gross for a brother and sister to do those kinds of things when they got older, as Kaiser, not knowing any better, accepted what his little sister said at face value.

"Hey...umm...how was your day? Okay, I hope?" Kaiser asked, hoping to steer the conversation towards a more comfortable topic.

"Yeah, it was great! I went shopping with Rinko today, and we got some new games for our consoles." Yukikaze exclaimed excitedly.

"Oh yeah, I remember you telling me about them last night. You really like that one streamer girl; what was her name again?" Kaiser said with a smirk on his face. "Ah, I remembered now; it was Y-kazeX-chan or something like that."

Yukikaze blushed and looked down at her feet in embarrassment.

"W-Well yeah, she is pretty cool." She replied, trying to hide her online persona.

"Well, I'm glad you had a wonderful day, lil' sis. Hey, lil' sis..." Kaiser walked towards his little sister as he hugged her. "I just want you to know that I... that I am thankful for what you and your mother have done for me. Thank you for being my family." He whispered into her ear.

Yukikaze felt tears welling up in her eyes as she wrapped her arms around him and buried her head into his chest. "I love you too, Onii-chan."

Kaiser then lifted Yukikaze off the ground and spun her around. They both started laughing as they held each other close.

The two of them were interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Come in!" yelled Kaiser, still holding onto his little sister. The door opened to reveal Shiranui standing there with a smile on her face.

Kaiser put his sister down as he gathered his courage and faced his adopted mother as he walked up to her.

"Mama, umm...hey Mama...I...I want to say thank you...thank you for saving me on that cold and rainy day... Thank you for all the love and kindness you gave... Thank you for being my mother, and one day I hope that I can repay you for all that you've done for me... I Love You, Mama." Kaiser said as he gave Shiranui a heartfelt and honest smile.

Shiranui was stunned at what she had just heard as she felt her heart skip a beat as her feelings were overflowing at this point for Kaiser.

She walked over to Kaiser and hugged him tightly. "Oh Kaiser...Kai...I love you too...you will always be like a son to me." She whispered into his ear.

Yukikaze looked up at her brother with tears in her eyes. "Onii-chan?"

"What is it, lil' sis?" He asked.

"Can we stay like this for a little while longer? Just the three of us together?"

"Yeah, I would like that too." Kaiser said as he hugged Yukikaze and Shiranui tightly. "I promise to do everything I can to make you all happy."

The three of them stood there for what seemed like hours until the rain outside began to fall on the manor with its soft pitter-patter.

"Hey Mama...Onii-chan... can we... can we all sleep together tonight?" Yukikaze asked shyly.

"Huh? Why Yukikaze?" Kaiser asked as to why his little sister wanted all three of them to sleep together on the same bed until finally a bright flash followed by a loud clap was heard outside their mansion. "Oh, right, I forgot you're afraid of thunder."

It was strange that a Taimanin like Yukikaze, who was a Lighting user, would be afraid of a thunderstorm.

"It's ok, Onii-chan... I don't mind if you hold me tight as long as it keeps me safe from the thunder." Yukikaze said with a smile on her face.

"Well then, let's get ready for bed." Shiranui chimed in.

Kaiser smiled at both his adoptive mother and younger sister as they walked off to their room. He felt so happy right now that he couldn't help but laugh out loud.

The next day, when Kaiser woke up, he looked over at the clock and saw that it was almost noon; luckily for him and his sister, they didn't have school today. Kaiser slept peacefully as he felt content with his life. It's been years since his last nightmare, as he remembers that he used to have them frequently when he first started to live with the Mizuki's; he used to fear going to sleep, but after his 4th birthday he would not have them as frequent.

Kaiser was reminiscent of his talk with Inage and how her advice helped him patch things up with his family; no longer did he feel like he was a burden or that he was causing them trouble, as he remembered their gratitude from last night. Kaiser felt a shifting at his sides as he saw that his little sister and mother were clinging on to him with his little sister head on his chest while his mother had her large breast against the back of his head. Their legs were tangled with his as his mother's hand was dangerously close to his crotch as his little sister's plump thighs rubbed up against him. Kaiser had a reaction like any normal young man would as his morning wood was standing at full attention.

"Mmmm...Onii-chan, your so warm." Yukikaze said in her sleepy voice as she snuggled closer to her older brother.

Shiranui stirred awake as well as she noticed that Kaiser's hard-on was poking her thigh. "Oh my~ it seems you have a problem down there."

Kaiser's face turns red as he starts to sweat bullets. "I...Uhh...I can explain...this happens to me every morning, and I mean...You are beautiful, Mama...NOT IN A WEIRD WAY...Umm, I mean... ahhh..."

Shiranui giggled as she saw her adoptive son try to explain his morning wood, but deep down she felt lust building up for her son, but unlike before, she wasn't going to push him away. Not after all the gratitude he showed her last night to her, Shiranui would embrace her son and love him regardless of what others thought or what the consequence might entail, because whether it was the Body Modification Experiments that were done to her or the Brainwashing during her capture, she knows in her heart that the love she feels for her son has and always will be real.

"It's okay, sweetie. It's perfectly natural for you to have this... 'Problem. First thing in the morning, as young boys your age are full of...'Energy' fufufu~, actually it's flatter that you find my old body attractive at all." Shiranui giggled as she knew her body was out of shape since she retired and only did missions on occasion for Asagi, as it didn't have the firmness that it once had.

"THAT'S NOT TRUE!" Kaiser said firmly as he turned his head to look at his mother with seriousness in his eyes, "Your plenty attractive, Mama...you always have been beautiful to me...and umm...well, I hear that other guys and girls talk about how umm...sexy you are... So please don't talk bad about how you look because to me, you'll always be that perfect woman who saved me from the streets on that cold, rainy day."

Kaiser became meek as he whispered out the last part, as he did truly love his adoptive mother and sister.

Shiranui felt tears well up in her eyes as she hugged her son tighter and kissed his forehead passionately before pulling back and looking into her son's eyes. "Thank you, my dear sweet little boy, but it seems that we can't stay in this bed forever now, can we?" Shiranui said with a sly smirk on her face as she sat up and slowly lifted her long hair to reveal her large breasts, which were covered by nothing but her silky and risqué nightgown along her near-see-through lingerie.

Kaiser gulped loudly as he looked at his mother's exposed body parts.

"I guess not...woah," Kaiser said as he couldn't take his eye off his mother's plump and curvy body.

Kaiser decided to wake his little sister up, who was still clinging to his body. He shook her gently until she woke up and rubbed the sleepiness out of her eyes.

Yukikaze stretched her arms above her head and let out a big yawn before looking down at her older brother and smiling brightly, "Good morning, Onii-chan." She said happily as she leaned down and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning, Yukikaze..." Kaiser said as he smiled softly at his little sister, who had quickly become one of the most important people in his life.

As the two got ready and dressed for breakfast, they were greeted by their mother and the ghost butler Zenki, who already had breakfast ready. The three sat down at the table together and enjoyed a nice peaceful meal until Shiranui decided that it was time to get serious.

"So...I want you both to know that I am proud of how far you have come in your lives, so please enjoy this day off together as a family. Kai-kun, what would you like to do today? Kaiser thought about what they could do together as a family as he thought of the perfect idea.

"How about we go to those new batting cages they built as well as shop around... I know that you and Yuki-chan will find something you'll like." Kaiser said as he was hoping that this would satisfy everyone's interest.

"Hmm...I think that would be a great idea, Kai-Kun." Shiranui giggled as she ate her breakfast.

"Zenki, would you be a dear and brew us some tea?" Shiranui asks as she turns her attention to her adopted son. "So Kai-kun, do you have any plans for the future, like creating your own clan or going abroad?"

"..." Kaiser had thought about options, but he honestly felt... alive, killing demons, but he would keep that impulse a secret to his dying day as he didn't want his family to be disgusted with him. Such a thing would absolutely destroy Kaiser's mind, as he would feel that he would lose the last things in his life that he could call his own.

"Well, I had thought about it... maybe... but to be honest, I would rather just be here with you and Yukikaze, making sure you two are happy and safe."

"Aww..Onii-chan is so sweet." Yukikaze said as she blushed at her brother's words.

"Yes, well, I am glad we have come to an agreement, Kai-kun, Yuki-chan." Shiranui smiled softly as she drank from her tea cup.

A/N: And that's all folks. I like happy ending and when things work out in the end but next chapter will be a bit short as it will be a sort of filler chapter but that's okay because it will give me time to post the First Story Arc.

Until Next Time Space Cowboy.
