"And I wouldn't have it any other way, Audrey..", Bucky grinned before replying, "As we get out of this place, we'd have to split up and keep up normalcy as much while we get ready...I love you, Audrey Ramirez.".

Audrey nodded, and replied, "I love you too, James Barnes.", kissing him tenderly yet lovingly on the lips as they held each other for a few moments, and then pulled back, smiling as they left the room, watching the coast as they left the building, and with a glance, the pair split up, back to their own barracks, and just in time too as bugle call sounded out not too soon afterwards.

With her little amount of essentials, she went for the hanger to get the plane prepped up, and get the bikes in, while Bucky was checking over the backpacks of the guys, and Mole came out of his hole, coming into the barracks of the Howling Commandos, sniffing the air and scanning the grounds, while Sweet is checking up his medicinal necessities, not knowing about Steve in the distance on his return stroll to the tent.

"What are you sniffing at, Mole? We had no alerts from the patrols or bar brawls or even a surprise wake up call for extra training in the middle of the night.", Sweet replied, and Mole replied, "Something in the air...Almost faint, but still there...Almost like sweet flowers...no, not sweet flowers, like spicy nectar, wait, wait, pheromones!".

Sweet blinked for a moment before he closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose as he had a suspicion what that might have been. "Okay, if you say so, but word of advice, keep it to yourself and don't say anything."

"Why? You know something?", Mole asked as Sweet gave him a glare before Mole backed down. "Okay, sorry... zipping it...".

Sweet nodded, "Good. Now, I suppose you did your pre-check of tunneling, and found a place for us to camp out for the night after the landing near Geneva.", and Mole nodded, "Yep! All secret and hidden from sight and found first secret train station thanks to codebreakers.".

"Great. Now, get to mess hall, and bring doggy bags of breakfast for us boys.", Sweet replied, and Steve's voice replied, "Grab me a doggy bag too.", before they turned around to see Steve smiling as he came in, holding up his one bag of luggage and his shield.

Sweet and Mole laughed, "Steve!", earning Bucky to hear them, and turned around from his backpack checkup, looking up with a grin, "Stevie-o! When did you get here?", walking over to join into the reunion.

"Plane landed 20 minutes ago. Had to be quiet. It's great to see you guys.", Steve smiled, and Mole replied, "Is baby girl adorable?", with a curious giggle.

Steve smiled, "I have something better than telling you.", before taking out his compass, opening it up to reveal a whole new picture now, of Peggy looking beautiful, having a peaceful, loving smile, holding up a curious yet bubbly Brookyln to Peggy's cheek side by side, somehow in better color than before, probably a better-quality version of a camera in Britain.

Bucky widened his eyes, "Oh, wow, she clearly got your hair...She's awfully cute.", and Steve fondly chuckled, "She's a lot like me yet so smart and beautiful like her mother...Blonde hair, my skin tone, and one of her eyes my blue color, while having Peggy's nose, Mom's smile, and on Peggy's side of the family, got her grandfather's dimples, and the other eye Peggy's chocolate brown color...Her name fits her so perfectly...I guess Phillips told you the full name...But it wasn't me that came up with Brookyln...", with a warm laugh.

"Really?", Bucky was surprised to hear that. "I could've sworn...", shaking his head. "I know, imagine my surprise too... Peggy's father was so sure that I was the one that came up with it.", Steve shook his head and smiled.

Sweet laughed, "That is fair. Still, she looks very healthy and strong in that photo. Everything went pretty well, considering the birth?", with a curious nod.

Steve replied, "One thing for sure, it wasn't a Atlantean length of birth or the tolerance either...It was practically 8 hours and some change, close to nine hours...Peggy strived through it, and it was really tiring for her, and very painful, especially when Brookyln wasn't your typical preemie like probably Phillips and Peggy's parents thought about the timing, but she was hearty which you would imagine that I was so relieved to see, and the moment she announced out loud...Peggy was practically crying in joy and over the moon that she couldn't wait another minute for her to be cleaned up fully, and when she was in her arms...Gods, it was the most beautiful sight I've ever seen...", with a wistful, awed look in his eyes.

"Crazy how this has all turned out... how does it feel, by the way?", Bucky asked him. "Being a father and all?". Steve took a deep breath as he thought about his answer. How did one put it into words? From being able to create a life, for it to bare resemblance to you... to all the feelings that you have, and it gives upon seeing or even thinking about it?

Steve then replied clearly and firmly, "It motivates me to fight even more for a future where she deserves to run barefoot in a field of flowers, with no care in the world for anything, laughter in the air, with that bubbly smile, twirling in the sunlight, making games with other children who deserves to have fun and experience a life with no war on the horizon, with me and Peggy on a bench, watching with joy and love.", as he looked at the picture, stroking it with a finger.

Bucky saw something new in his brother's eyes, and even after what he had seen at prison camps and such, he can understand who they are fighting for...They are fighting for the people who deserves to be free, to live, to grow up, and much more, and they are fighting for their makeshift family, and the ones who gave them a family beyond their hearts, like how Steve fights for his loved ones in that picture, like how Sweet fights for his wife/mate to protect her and her people from danger ever again, and how Bucky fights for Audrey to make his future with her, and even how Mole fights for his people to give freedom and independence to his homeland.

And they also fight for the lost souls who deserves to have justice as well while the boys were silent for a moment before Mole then spoke up, "I'll get doggy bags from mess hall. Not be long before plane goes.", leaving the tent, digging a tunnel, heading straightforward for the mess hall.

Relieved that Mole is gone, as he tends to blab secrets at fault when he is drunk, Sweet then glares slightly at Bucky, "Please tell me that you didn't pressure her.", as Steve became confused, and a bit concerned when he heard Sweet's tone.

"What happened?", Steve asked as he looked to Sweet and Bucky. "Take a wild guess...", Sweet told Steve as it suddenly clicked for Steve before Bucky held his hands up, "Steve, I promise, swear on my mother's grave, I didn't pressure her for even a second.", Bucky said.

Steve widened his eyes as there is only a few things Bucky swears on his mother's grave, like making sure some of his payment of serving the Rangers and the army goes to his sisters for rent and all, and Steve saw to that before he left America with Peggy, and saw that Bucky's sisters have been doing well, and he looks at Sweet, "He's telling the truth.".

Sweet exhaled deeply, and Bucky replied with a smile, a strangely new yet familiar smile as he whispered, "We said them...We said the three words...Steve, she's the One...I am officially off the board, and I have no regrets...I love her so much that I couldn't even think of a day without her, less alone a life without her...I am going to propose to her on her birthday after the war, after I get to know her family and hopefully with some proof to her father that I love her, to get his blessing.", a determined spark in his eyes amongst incredulity and love.

"Wow...", Steve said. "I mean, I had a feeling you didn't try to do anything wrong with her, we could all tell that she certainly broke your previous relationship ways...".

"Yeah, knocked some sense into me there... and then there was, of course, that one incident that I still regret even after everything...", Bucky smiled wryly before sighing with an upset look in his eyes.

Sweet patted his shoulder, "I can see it in your face, and I believe you, not that I don't believe Steve, but to hear you validate about Audrey, and your past regrets, I'm damn relieved to know you've changed into an even better man, because of her...And hey, there will be people in Britain who doesn't know Audrey, or you as you have been rarely up there because of Ranger duties before, and no judgement there, so it will be fine after we get this mission done, hmm?".

Bucky, shocked to hear the practical blessing from Audrey's uncle-figure as he was told by Audrey that Sweet promised her father to look after her over the whole Atlantis expedition and all, since Sweet knew him, and looked at Sweet with a sincere smile, "Thanks, Sweet, and before you ask, Audrey drank the extra strong special tea she made from Peggy's instructions a few hours before we did it in bed, and I trust her completely, as it's for the best in the time being.".

"Yeah.", Steve nodded. "I'm already stressing out about Peggy and Brooke, them still being in London. I know the Luftwaffe raids have pretty much mostly stopped; Göring would be crazy to send his planes now to start bombing cities again with how many Allied fighters have been built up on the island, not to mention, focusing elsewhere... but still... so close to the frontlines as opposed to being in America.".

Sweet nodded, "Well, any way we can help end this war faster, starting with this mission, we will see the day Germany surrenders and Hitler and Schmidt are dead, the safer the girls will be, Steve. And yes, better for the time being, Bucky. Audrey knows that more than anything.".

Bucky and Steve nodded, glad to hear Sweet's wisdom, and shortly afterwards, Mole got back with doggie bags of breakfast, while they headed out with prepped backpacks and such, heading for the hanger where Audrey is reporting to Phillips upon the weather outlook, with the plane rigged to head out, with the bikes strapped securely, along with extra gasoline and such.

"And you're sure even with today being cloudy, the landing will be perfect, Ramirez?", Phillips asked, looking at Audrey.

Audrey replied, "Sir, with all due respect, the sun will be still aiding me, and it's good because if it's sunny, people would notice the shadow and such, so it's much better that it's cloudy to sneak along and even if we're landing in a Allied, safe place near Geneva, I'll take care, and keep the plane in drift while hiding it in a barn or something, and there are other Allied squadrons in different areas near enough to the Alps to help out in destroying stations of that secret train after locating them and coordinating sequence detonations with the Howling Commandos, with hopefully, in forcing the secret train into exposing it out in the open for the Captain and the boys.".

"Alright then.", Phillips nodded. "But remember, you better damn well sure land not on Swiss territory. We don't want to cause any issues; you'll be POWs to them, and I think breaking out of Switzerland is a bit more difficult since they don't have all their attention focused on the war.".

Audrey saluted, nodding, "Yes, General, sir!", and Phillips then walked on, glancing at the Howling Commandos including Steve, "Do not let me repeat this. Only radio morse code to me if something's wrong and do your mission with upmost care yet no mercy to our enemy, clear?".

The team saluted, "Sir, yes, sir!", and Phillips nodded, "Good. Dismissed, and I wish you all luck.", and most of the team headed up into the plane, with Audrey taking up the pilot's seat, and Steve looked at Phillips, who gave him a small smile, "I'm glad you're back, Captain. Don't worry, I'll keep the radio on while I visit Britain sooner or later. And remember, if there are high-class members of our enemy, subdue them, and take their last options away before they kill themselves, like that Zola doctor or even Hitler, and have our friends take them to one of our bases for interrogation, even Britain. We cannot afford to have them breaking a pill tooth in suicide before we have the opportunity to learn needed information.".

"Don't worry, sir, we'll make sure we bring back someone if we can.", Steve told him. "Though, they might not give us a choice...", with a nod.

"I know; we certainly need to know at the very least anything we can on German weapon developments though HYDRA." Phillips added. Steve nodded, "Yes, sir. Understood.", saluting him, and Phillips replied, "Take care especially, Rogers.".

"Trust me, sir, I have more motivation and reason to fight for a future where everybody will live without fear of war.", Steve narrowed his eyes determinedly, and Phillips nodded, "Good man. Dismissed.".

Steve then headed up into the plane, and secured himself, with the ramp coming up, and with signals and radio communication to the base radio tower, Audrey then taxied the plane out, and then steadily headed up into the sky, soon leveling out among the clouds, not too high nor too low, checking the instruments and all.

It was three hours of travel, and with checking the map double time, Audrey then landed in an Allied place with radio communications, in a clearing within a small airport base that was taken up by one of the Allied squadrons, only an hour from Geneva, clearly away from Swiss land.

With Mole's memory and his makeshift map of tunneling to the Alps, he is confident once he touches earth, which he immediately is happy to feel again under his feet and all, still hating planes, yet brave for his friends to face that fear, and so with coordinating with the squadron, the bikes with the sidecars, and the backpacks on the boys, the Howling Commandos are set to head to the first safe site within the Alps that Mole found.

Audrey pulled Bucky into the hanger barn, looking at him, "You better damn be careful, James Barnes...I worked on your bike, and I filled up all the canteens, extra ammunition for your rifles and pistols, and extra gasoline for the bike.".

"Don't worry.", Bucky smirked. "We'll be fine... ain't nothing we've done before, after all.", nodding. "Still, wouldn't hurt to be careful, Bucky.", Steve reminded as he walked past them, carrying a number of things with ease.

Audrey raised an eyebrow at Bucky who chuckled sheepishly, "I didn't say anything first...Apparently, Sweet knew something was off...Don't worry, Mole is clueless.", and Audrey groaned, blushing.

Bucky smiled, touching her chin, "Still, we will be careful...No promises...", and Audrey exhaled, "I know...All the same, this crystal,", as she is jabbing gently into his chest to the crystal he's wearing, "you must remember-".

"To only use it for healing, and in emergencies, and no abusing it. Ask, don't demand.", Bucky recited, nodding with a smile, and Audrey shook her head with a fond smile, "Smartass...", before her finger became her hand resting on his heart, she looked at him deeply and lovingly and slightly longingly, whispering, "I love you, Bucky...", coming a tad closer into his embrace as he wrapped his arms around her.

"I love you too, Audrey...", Bucky said as he took a deep breath, quietly praying that once more, they'd get through all this unscathed. It would be very dangerous, practically the heart of HYDRA itself if the reports were even somewhat accurate.

Audrey practically felt the same way, and replied, "Kiss me, please...", and Bucky smiled lovingly, obliging her as he leaned in, tightening his embrace, feeling her arms moving to embrace him back around his neck, and the kiss was a mix of love, passion, bittersweet hope and pain, like it could be the last kiss between them.

Steve and Sweet saw it all, and they shared a knowing glance as they had felt the same way, with Sweet keeping the memory of his feelings and such in that kiss with Nola before he escaped with Steve, and Steve, he would never forget how he held Peggy like a lifeline with that familiar, painful feeling as they kissed that evening at the hanger, and with Brookyln, how she felt the whole atmosphere, yet somehow was bubbly and gave her father her very first smile and first laugh as Steve tickled her and asked her to look after her mother.
