This was it, Cody is going to meet the parents of his hellhound girlfriend, Misty. Despite how happy his lovely girl was, the human boy himself still felt a little scared and nervous. But Misty is his girlfriend and he wanted to make her happy, and remembered what Loona mentioned about calling her in case something bad happened

"you don't look excited, Cody." Said Misty. "Are you feeling ok?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Cody sighed. "Still a little nervous about meeting your mom and dad. Worried they might eat me or slice me with their claws if I make them mad. Though I remember you saying that your parents don't really care about you when we first met."

"Oh yeah, they don't." Misty said. "But it doesn't mean they still love me." Then she looked to the side as she was having some deep thought in herself. "Though, they stopped taking heroin and cocaine recently, and are... acting more sober."

A small amount of relief had traveled through Cody's body. The boy also looked a little surprised. "Are they still hitting you?"

"Well... a few times but not as much as they used to. And at first... i never even wanted you to meet my mom and dad. Being how rough and scary they can be, i never bothered you so you wouldn't get hurt."

"What?!" Cody sounded surprised.

"Then why the fuck are you bringing my own adopted brother to meet your crazy family now?" Said Loona, sounding a little protective. "Is there anything you're keeping from us?"

"No! No! There are no secrets." Misty pleaded. "And they want to meet you now because they think you're a total badass, Cody... and my dad likes your taste in music."

The boy looked a little flattered over the last part his girlfriend said. "Were they persistent?" He couldn't help but ask

"Pfft, yeah. They won't stop leaving me alone about it. They are really dying to meet you."

"Oh why did you say dying like that?" The boy felt a queasy feeling in his stomach.

"Ok, but keep an eye on them if something happens." The adopted sister insisted

"I will, Loona. I promise."

"Give me a second, I'll be right back. Just need to get some mint gum." He had a nervous look on his face before running to his bedroom to look for the mint gum, and then came back out ten seconds after. "Sorry about that. Just needed to help with my breath. Had Little Caeser's crazy bread earlier. Hehe."

"that's cool."

"You sure about this, Misty?" Cody said

"Yeah, a million percent sure. they'll like you. I know it." Misty smiled. "So come on, they're waiting."

Cody looked at Loona, and she said: "you'll be fine, remember to call me if anything happens."

"Gotcha, Loona."

"Misty, keep Cody out of harm's way, I mean it." The young adult hellhound noted.

"I will, Loona. I promise."

He walked out the door with his hellhound girlfriend, but little did Misty know that: Cody has his revolver with him and never chewed some mint gum for his breath. It was hidden underneath his shirt, and on his back in case something goes terribly wrong. The boy will never known when his revolver can come in handy. It made him feel like a true American with the Amendment to let him bear arms.

Her apartment was about ten blocks down the southwest of where Loona and Blitzo's apartment was. It was on the third floor of this apartment building, and Cody heard the sound of heavy metal music blaring from the other side of the front door.

The human gulped quietly to himself and when Misty looked at him, he gave her a fake, unctuous smile so he wouldn't let her mood be ruined. "Here we are!" Misty said. "Welcome to my crib." She opened the door and the metal music was even louder than before.

A large male hellhound, who had fur as black as jet, was punching a punching bag with his mighty fists, over and over again, and even used his teeth to bite on the punching bag, looking quite fierce and ferocious as he was munching and growling. He had long white hair in a ponytail and looked muscular, probably even more muscular than Tex. This male hellhound was wearing only his workout pants and shirtless with his large, intimidating muscles showing with a few veins down the arms, almost like. Rottweiler, but with more hair and not any brown spots in his fur.

The female hellhound was in the kitchen, smashing some ground beef with a wooden mallet. She looked more like an Australian shepherd with white fur and many brown and black spots around her, and her eyes were blue like an actual Australian shepherd. She wore green leggings and her hair was blonde and short. Misty's mother also had an orange turtleneck, and when she saw Cody and Misty, she smiled.

"Kevin, can you turn off the music?" The mother called to her husband.

"What's that hun?" asked the father

"I said turn off the music!" she called back, sounding annoyed.

"Oh! Turn it off? OK!" he turned the off button on his MP3 player off and the heavy metal music stopped blaring in the apartment, and the father pulled out his sweat rag to wipe the drops from his face and forehead. Cody's heart was thumping now that Misty's strong father had his sights on him now.

"So, you must be Cody." said Misty's mother.

"We wanted to meet you for a long time, buddy." said the father. He knelt down on one knee to have better eye contact with the human boy. "Misty told us a good deal about you, kiddo."

"She told you about me?"

"Well of course silly. You are her boyfriend." said the mother. "My name is Irene."

"Call me Kevin." said the father, shaking the boy's hand in a rough manner. "Let me take a shower to get this fucking sweat off of me and we'll get better acquainted."

"And you should stay for lunch." said Irene. "I insist."

"What are we having?"

"Ribeye steak." Kevin pointed. "With barbecue sauce!"

"What's a steak without barbecue sauce?" Asked Irene.

"Boring." Misty pointed.

Kevin went to take a quick shower to wipe the sweat from his body and Cody sad on the torn couch with his girlfriend and his mother. "I just wanted to tell you how adorable you look in person." said Irene. "I could just ea-"

"Mom!" Misty said. "Don't say it. He's nervous."

"Oh, sorry. Nevermind." Irene looked embarrassed. "You just look so cute."

"Thanks." Cody blushed. "We saw you on TV a couple of times, right from Lucifer's party and others."

"You... heard about most of my town believing I was the Antichrist? Which i'm not."

Irene made a small laugh. "I know you would never be the Antichrist. And yes." she frowned. "I'm... sorry about your uncle."

"Don't worry about it. It's not your fault. Mr. Belmont is suffering in Lucifer's dungeon right now for it."

"And good fucking riddance to that guy." Irene said angrily. "After all he had done, he deserved it."

"Who deserved what?" asked Kevin, coming out of the shower

"Mr Belmont deserves to be in Lucifer's dungeon after all he did, just because he thought I was the Antichrist. If I was him, I would be pure evil."

"Ah. Him. Misty told me how she helped you against him and his fucking crazy Zionist followers."

"Actually it's a crazy Christian cult." Irene pointed. "Zionist is more of Jewish shit."

"Oh, right." Kevin gave Cody a sympathetic look. "Kid, we're really sorry about your uncle and his friends."

"It's ok."

"Try not to bring it up too much, dad." Misty said.

Kevin looked a little guilty and tried to cheer the kid up by saying: "just wait until you taste the ribeye steak and the sauce. My bitch here makes the best steak."

"Ooh, Kevin, baby." Irene gave him some bedroom eyes and locked their tongues with one another, much to the disgust of both kids.

"Not again." Misty groaned as she facepalmed herself. "Cody, why don't we go to my room for a while? I'm sure they'll stop French kissing some time."

"Good idea."

Following her to her own bedroom, he was amazed to see how cool, yet messy it was in her place of privacy. There were posters of countless metal hands across her walls, some were only heard of in hell and not on Earth, and there were some posters of "Metallica, Sepultura, Megadeath, Exodus, Gojira", and others.

The sides of the bed were a little ripped from Misty's teeth, possibly because she got angry at some things and there was a pile of used pillows that were torn to shreds with claw and bite marks on them. "Nice room." Said Cody. "Looks more metal than Loona's room."

"Thank you."

"But what's with the pillows?"

"I know, I know, I should through them away." Misty sighed.

"Why don't you?"

"Because I'm too lazy."

"Ah. So your parents will stop making out soon, right?"

"Oh yeah. Give them ten minutes no more."

It was becoming awkwardly quiet between the two, and Cody finally asked: "So how is your school?"

"Same old shit. Learning how to torture martyrs in the worst ways possible, and how to properly burn Hitler in a furnace. Me and my class even got on a field trip to see how Hitler is continuously burning in that furnace he had been in since he died."

"Wow. That must have been fun." Cody smirked

"One of the funnest things my class has ever seen in a while."

"You still skipping school?"

"Yep. School is boring as fuck." She looked a little shy about something now. "So listen... I wanted to tell you..."

"Wait, you're not going to ask me to marry you, are you?" The human boy pointed.

"What? No. Of course not. Do I look like I have an engagement ring on me?"

"Touché." Cody looked a little embarrassed. "What is it you want to tell me?"

"Well... I love you." She said, gently grasping his hands. "I know we've been going out for a few months, but... you're one of the best things that ever happened to me, Cody. The best to happen in a long time."

Looking very flattered, Cody said: "Misty... do you mean it?"

"of course, I mean it, silly." Then she gave him a kiss and a hug to show how much she cares about him.

"I love you too, Misty." He hugged her back.

"Alright kids, the steak is ready!" Kevin called from the living room. The two kids rushed into the dinning room and sat in the table. Nothing looked delicious with ribeye steak at the table and it looked so yummy. Cody's stomach was already growling just staring at the delicacies.

the steak sauce was at the center so everyone would take turns in pouring it on their steak.

"This steak looks good." Irene showed his sharp teeth. Her daughter and her husband also showed their shark teeth as they were looking at the meat, making Cody a little nervous.

Nevertheless, they all got their fair share of the steak. As Cody was eating some small bites, the other three were eating it in a very messy way. They were just chomping down on big pieces like actual wolves and dogs would do, and it wasn't long before some barbecue sauce stains showed on their canine faces.

Poor Cody looked on in disgust and felt like losing his appetite after seeing his girlfriend and her parents engorge their lunch in a vicious manner. Some growling sounds were even heard as they were taking some large bites.

What made the kid want to eat his steak was his stomach growling some more and he got his appetite back. He simply just ignored the vicious and barbaric chomping of the three hellhounds and finally ate his food.

"Well you were slow." Kevin pointed

"Kevin!" Irene scolded him. "It's perfectly alright, Cody. Did you enjoy your food?"

"I did."

"Good."

Washing his hands at the kitchen, Cody caught sight of something... rather disturbing. It was a recipe for a special kind of dish, which was called "Sapiens Delight". One of instructions contained the words "insert human head on top, and Cody's blood run cold.

"Ummmm... I'll be right back." He rushed to the bathroom, and began talking to himself: "they're going to eat me?! I knew coming here was a bad idea."

He pulled out his gun and put the bullets into it, fully loading it

Coming out of the bathroom, Cody had a nervous smiled, hiding the revolver behind his back, and said: "well I guess I should get going. Thanks so much for the steak, nice meeting you both."

he was about to head out the door when he was stopped by Kevin. "Wait a minute, me and my wife wanna get to know you more, Cody." He got out of the table and walked up to him. "And we're also going to have some Sa-"

"Stay back!" Cody finally pulled out his gun and pointed at Kevin

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, take it easy, kiddo. What's going on?"

"I shouldn't have come here!" Cody sounded like he was going to panic. "You're not going to turn me into your dinner!"

"What?" Said Irene. "Cody wait, it's not-" Cody fired a shot next to her before she can come anywhere near him.

"Stay back!" Cody warned again.

"Calm down. It's not what-"

"No!" Cody shouted before running out the door.

looking shocked, Misty and her parents ran after him.

picking up his cellphone, Cody said: "Loona! Please pick me up! Her parents are crazy!" Then he hung up. Little did he know that the family was chasing him, and they are getting closer
