Prologue 1: New Beginnings.
We begin our tale in a small house in the outskirts of Rolent, in the small region of the Liberl Kingdom.
Here, we see a young girl is sitting on a table, looking like she's waiting for something, or someone.
"Hmm... Daddy's really late." said the young girl, "I even got a message from the guild saying he'd be home today, too...", this little girl then got up from her chair and went to look outside from the window on the back of the house.
"And Schera's gone traveling around the kingdom on some kinda training..." she said "I'm sooooo bored! Maybe i'll just practice with staff a bit more before dinner.".
Just then, she heard the sound of the door being opened, "Hey, i'm home!" came the voice of a grown man, "! Daddy!" said the girl as she went running to the front door to meet her father.
"Sorry to have kept you waiting, Estelle." Said the grown man, "Did you take good care of the house while i was away?".
"*giggle* Of course i did!" said the girl, whose's name is Estelle. Estelle Bright, "Did you run into any trouble, Daddy? You didn't get hurt fighting the bad monsters, did you?".
"Nope. I'm as fit as a fiddle." said the man who was holding something in a blanket, "That reminds me though, i brought you a present.".
"Really?! What kind of present?!" asked Estelle with anticipation, "A new fishing pole? Sneakers? Something for my training?!".
"... Maybe i raised you wrong, Estelle..." said the man, who is known as Cassius Bright, "Aren't little girls supposed to like clothes and jewelry?".
"I like pretty clothes, but they just get dirty." said Estelle, "And jewelry breaks when you go play outside with it on.".
"Anyway, daddy. What's with the big blanket? Is THAT my present?".
"Oh, you're a sharp one!" said Cassius, "Now why don't you come have a look?" then he removed a bit of the blanket to reveal that he was holding a little boy, this boy had black hair and also had bandages and bruises all over his face.
"whaa...? ..." Estelle was just speechless.
"Well, here you are." Said Cassius, "Quite a handsome boy, don't you think?".
"Wh-Wh-Wh..." "Why is my present a BOY?!" yelled Estelle in bewilderment.
"Don't make such a fuss or you'll wake him up." Said Cassius.
"Wake him up...? You mean he's still alive?" asked Estelle, "Looks kind of dead if you ask me.".
"I've treated his wounds, so he should be in stable condition." Said Cassius, "In the meantime however... we'll need to let him rest."
"I'll put him to bed, so if you wouldn't mind heating a kettle of water on the stove, i'd appreciate it.".
"Okay!" said Estelle.
After a little while, we find ourselves in Cassius's room with him and Estelle looking over the boy, who was put in bed.
"He sure sleeps soundly..." said Estelle, "And he almost looks the same age as me".
"This is the first time I've seen black like that, too.".
"He certainly does have a nice head of dark hair." Said Cassius, "And a pair of amber eyes to go with it.".
"Hmm." Estelle then turned to face her father, "That's nice and all, but how about you come clean and fess up?".
"Fess up...?" asked Cassius.
"Yeah. Who is this kid anyway?" asked Estelle, "And why is he hurt? Why did you bring him to our house?".
"Is he an illi-jit-mate child or something? Did you betray mommy?".
"Where have you been picking up these kinds of words...?" said Cassius while he shook his head with his hand on his face, "No doult from Scherazard, i assume.".
"Yep! That's right!" Estelle flat out confirmed.
"For heaven's sake! That girl is going to get me into trouble one of these days with all her nonsense..." said Cassius, "Actually, i just met this boy while out on business. And i don't even know his name".
"You mean bracer business? Asked Estelle.
"Something like that." said Cassius, then he noticed something, "Oh, look...".
"Huh?" Said Estelle, "He's waking up." Said Cassius.
And sure enough, once Estelle turned around, the boy began to open his eyes.
"Hmm..." the boy began to wake up, "Wow, his eyes really are the color of amber..." said Estelle.
"... Wh-where...am I...?" said the boy.
"So you're awake now, are you?" asked Cassius, "Welcome to my humble home. You'll be safe here, so please try to rest.".
"... What are you triying to pull...?" said the boy, "Huh?" said Estelle.
"You must be out of your mind..." said the boy, "Why... why didn't you just leave there to die?".
"Why? Now that's a question I don't know how to awnser." Said Cassius, "Does, 'things just worked out that way,' work for you?" he said with a big grin.
"D-Don't toy with me, Cassius Bright!" yelled the boy, "Do you have any idea what you're getting yourself involved in...?".
"Hey!" said Estelle as she jumped on the boy, "You're sure shouting a lot for someone who's supposed to be hurt!".
"Running your mouth like that is just gonna make it take longer for your body to heal!".
"... ...And just who are you supposed to be?" asked the boy.
"I'm Estelle! Estelle Bright!" she said.
"She's my daughter." Said Cassius, "Don't you remember me telling you that i have a daughter your age?".
"Now that you mention it..." said the boy before... "Wait a minute! Don't try and change te sub-" but then Estelle jumped on him twice this time, "Ow!".
"Quit yelling!" said Estelle.
"All right, all right, already...!" said the boy, "But you jumping on me like that isn't going to make me heal any faster, either!".
"I don't hear you yelling again, do I?" asked Estelle.
"Look, jumping on me like that is going to make things worse..." said the boy.
"Do I hear... Y = E = L = L = I = N = G?" said Estelle.
"N-Never mind. Just forget it..." said the boy.
"As a word of advice, it would be wise not to argue with Estelle while you're in this house." Said Cassius, "Even i wouldn't stand a chance if I made her mad enough.".
"Yeah, i can see that..." said the boy.
"By the way, aren't you forgetting something?" said Estelle, "Huh?" asked the boy.
"Your name. You know, that thing that people call you?" said Estelle, "I tould you mine already, so don't you think it would be unfair and impolite not to tell me yours?".
"...Umm..." "..." the boy could only stay silent to this.
"It seems like the logical thing to do if you ask me" said Cassius, "Trying to hide it now would only serve to your detriment".
"... F-Fine..." said the boy, "My name is...".
And that's how the story began...
5 Years later...
After that fatefull day, time has passed with relative peace for the Bright family, as we now join them on this day.
Septian calendar 12/02/1202.
Cassius is making breakfast downstairs as we join a grown up Estelle in her room.
"...Ugghh... It's so bright in here..." "*Yaaaaaaaawn*", she said as she stretched herself, "Mmm... I slept like a rock".
"Hmmm...that must mean it's dad's turn to cook this morning. I wonder if that means Joshua is still in bed?".
Just then, she began to hear the sound of a harmonica being played, "Ah! Guess that's a no. Well, guess i'd better get myself ready then, too.".
We then see the entire house as we then focus on the grown boy, now known as Joshua, now playing his harmonica on the balcony, and as he finished, Estelle came from the door to the balcony and began to applaud.
"Nice, Joshua! Bravo!" said Estelle.
"Good morning, Estelle." Said Joshua, "I hope i didn't wake you.".
"Nah, i was already up when i heard you start to play." Said Estelle, then she walked up to him, "I can't believe how awake you are, though. Even the roosters still have bags under their eyes!".
"Not that i mind, what with that siren song of yours gently lulling this beautiful woman from her slumber!".
"What do you mean 'woman'? We're the same age and i'm hardly a man." Said Joshua.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. How wrong you are, Joshua!" said Estelle, "We may be the same age, but I am clearly THE woman of the house. And that makes you something like my loyal follower, wouldn't you agree?".
"Yeah, yeah. How fortunate for you." Said Joshua.
"You could at least try and sound a TINY bit sincere..." said Estelle, "It really is a nice tune, though. Cheerful, yet somehoe wishful... I like your other songs too, of course, but this one's my favorite.".
"Er...what's it called again?".
" 'The Whereabouts of Light.' " Joshua awnsered.
"That's right, 'The Whereabouts of Light.' " said Estelle, "I wish i could play the harmonica like you, Joshua. Sadly, it's a lot harder than it looks...".
"Compared to what i takes to use a staff, I think the harmonica is much easier." Said Joshua, "It's really just a matter of concentration.".
"You're probably right. I guess my problem is just that if I don't do something that uses my whole body, i start to feel drowsy." Said Estelle, "Okay, playing the harmonica is nice and all, but how about getting some exercise, too! All of your hobbies are sitting around kind of stuff like reading and music.".
"No girl is gonna be impressed with just that!".
"Well, excuse me for being so umpopular with the ladies." Said Joshua, "Although, I feel like I should be the one lecturing you about your hobbies. I mean, what kind of boy wants a girl who loves fishing, collecting bugs, and has a fetish for sports shoes?".
"Err... ...that's enough about talk hobbies for now..." said Estelle, "And for your information, I graduated from collecting bugs a long time ago.".
"Really? I'll believe that when i stop finding beetles in the hallway." Said Joshua.
"Hah!...yah!..." the two of them were interrupted by a noise coming from the ground floor.
The two of them turned towards the direction of the noise, "Wait, he's already at it already at this time of day?" asked Estelle.
"Well you know how he is, always the dedicated one." said Joshua.
We then turn towards what they were looking at, and it was a boy, he was wearing an orange shirt and black shorts, and he was wearing blue sandals, but the important thing to note was that he was holding a shield in his left hand and a spear in his right hand.
The boy proceded to do a sequence of 3-thrusts foward, followed by spinning around and slashing with the spear, he then started swinging the spear, first the the left, then he did a 360 to the right, and ended with him jumping foward and thrusting his spear, coming close to the lake near the house.
He then quickly turned around with the shield at the ready, then he began to charge foward witht he shield, then he did a shield bash, he then put his right foot behind himself and got in a position with his spear, to which he then thrust his spear foward.
Then he looked at another direction then threw his spear at a tree, then he charged with his shield foward and rammed it foward, then he took the spear from the tree and did a series of blinding-fast thrusts.
He then dodge-rolled out of the way and landed in the middle of the courtyard, he then proceded to block with his shield as he walked backwards, then, he saw his opening and did a shield bash, "Let's end this!" he said as he did a 360 as he spinned his spear in a circle multiple times, ending with him doing a powerfull thrust foward, seemingly killing whatever imaginary opponent he was facing.
He then stood up straight as he spinned his spear and planted the wooden part of it into the ground and did a pose for a moment. He then held his left arm to his chest as he took a deep breath, "Phew, now that was a workout" the boy said, then he began to hear to hear applauses, to which he looked up to see Estelle and Joshua.
"Way to go, you really showed them what you're capable of." Said Joshua.
"Yup, you're the only one that can make the 'fighting with imaginary friends' thing look interesting" said Estelle.
"First off, thanks, Joshua." Said the boy, "And secoundly, Estelle, how many time must i tell you that i was training?".
"All by yourself?" asked Estelle.
"What? Never heard of 'Shadow-Boxing'? It's basically the same concept." said the boy, "...Then again, you're not exactly the type of person were that idea would work, isn't that right Joshua?".
"Excuse me? What exactly do you mean by that?!" said Estelle, a bit peeved.
"...Well, you're not exactly...wrong per se." said Joshua.
"Wha...? Why aren't you taking my side?" said Estelle, but he simply ignored her.
"Anyway, what are you doing training all by yourself?" asked Joshua, "isn't it ususally better to train with a partner?".
"It is, but since you two were both still asleep, i figured i should try and get some practice on my own" said the boy, "Plus Joshua, after you woke up you decided to play your harmonica, so i figured i should just leave you be. Though, it's always nice to hear you play anyway.".
"You're pretty good with the flute as well." said Joshua, "And if i remember right, you're looking to get your hands on an Eastern flute as well?".
"The Sakuhachi? Yeah i have been thinking about having one imported." said the boy, "I heard there pretty difficult to play, but hey, it's all a matter of practice right guys?".
"Just like with Joshua's harmonica, all it takes is a little bit of effort to do it right." said the boy, "You know what? Maybe i should get an harmonica of my own, that way you can teach me some of your songs".
"Sounds like a good idea to me." Said Joshua, "But were would you get the money to buy the intruments? I don't think the money that you get from your part-time jobs could cover that much.".
"Yeah, maybe you could also tell us how you get the money to afford all those dolls and clothes?" asked Estelle, "You've been getting them WAY to quickly recently.".
"He he he... That, my dear siblings, is a secret!" said the boy with a big grin.
"Hey, Estelle! Joshua! Aleister!" came the voice of Cassius from down below, and they all looked towards him.
"Morning, dad!" said Estelle.
"Mornin'n dad." said the boy, now known as Aleister.
"Good morning, dad. Is breakfast ready?" asked Joshua.
"It's ready and waiting!" said Cassius, "Why don't the both of you hurry on down before it gets cold?".
"Okay!" said Estelle, "I'm on my way!" said Joshua, and then they both went back inside the house.
Cassius then turned his attention towards his other son, "But honestly, at this time of the day? And before you even ate anything?" he said, "You could have at least waited until after breakfast before starting.".
"You know how it is, it this kind of dedication that makes someone unstopaple" said Aleister, "Besides, i wasn't doing anything intense, just a light warmup".
"You do reaslise that what passes for light to you might not mean the same thing to other people, right?" said Cassius, "But anyway, that's a matter for another time, so how about we go inside to eat before Estelle eats our part of the food?".
"Honestly? I could actually see her doing that." Said Aleister, "But sure, let's go inside.".
And so, the four of them ate together, all while talking with each other and just being happy to be with one another.
"Thanks for the grub, dad!" said Estelle, "Boy, am i stuffed!".
"Are you eating or inhaling, Estelle?" asked Joshua.
"Hmph. Like people say, 'Kids who eat and sleep a lot, grow a lot'." Said Estelle.
"Yeah no, that's not a saying" said Aleister.
"Hmph! The point still stands you know!" said Estelle.
"Well, make sure you get enough to eat, but don't forget to pour that energy into your work, too." Said Cassius, "That reminds me, you two are finishing up your training at the guild today, aren't you?".
"That's right. It'll be a review of everything we've learned up to this point." Said Joshua.
"And once we're finished, we'll be bracers just like you, dad!" said Estelle, "That means I'm not going to let you treat me like a kid anymore either!".
"You still lack understanding, Estelle." Said Cassius, "You can only become a junior bracer in the beginning - - or in other words, a trainee. If you want to be treated like an adult, then you should work extra hard in your training to become a full-fledged bracer.".
"Well, I'm not afraid of a little hard work!" said Estelle, "Just you watch and see what I'm capable of, Dad! I'll be so successfull that it won't be long before i pass you, too!".
"That's the spirit! Let's see what you're made of then, shall we?" said Cassius.
"Let's not start a rivalry here, you two..." said Joshua, "And Estelle, keep your focus on the task at hand. We have a test later on today, remember?".
"Huh...?! ..." Estelle was just left without words, "There's the dreaded word for people like Estelle" said Aleister.
"Wait... what test?" she finally asked.
"Please tell me you didn't forget about the test, Estelle..." Joshua said with a sweatdrop, "You know, the one that checks whether or not we've mastered the skills we've been learning in training. Don't you remember Schera saying that if we failed, we've be stuck with a ton of extra homework?".
"Crap... Totaly forgot..." said Estelle, finally realising what Joshua was talking about, "Now that you mention it, I guess I kind of remember her saying something like that...".
Then she immediatly perked up, "Don't sweat it! I'm sure we'll manage somehow or other.".
"I honestly don't know how you've survived this long, Estelle. Your brain is like sieve.".
"Considering you forgot that there was a test today, i wouldn't count your chances." Said Aleister, "Hate to say it Joshua, but it looks like you'll be stuck with more homework because of this airhead".
"Hey!" said Estelle.
"Papa is sad!" said Cassius, "How could any child of mine end up with such a careless, overoptimistic personality?".
"Ha! You're the one that raised me, so i definetly got it from you!" said Estelle.
"I swear, the two of you act so much alike, but whatever." Said Joshua, "We should probably head over to the guild soon, Estelle. Schera's going to be waiting for us.".
"Sounds like a plan. You know how crazy scary she gets when someone keeps her waiting." Said Estelle, and so she and Joshua got up from their chairs and began walking to the door, but then Estelle stoped to say... "Oh, before i forget, it's my turn to cook dinner tonight. Is there anything in particular you'd like to eat, dad? Any requests?".
"Hmm... Something I'd like to eat, huh? ..." Cassius thought about it for a moment, then said, "How about Ruan-style scalloped fish in a balsamic vinegar sauce?".
"Wh-What's that?" asked Estelle, "Something fancy, that's for sure." said Aleister.
"I think that' a little more than Estelle's cooking skills can handle... Or our stomachs..." said Joshua.
"You're right. I just wanted to see what kind of reaction i could get." Said Cassius, "I'll just have the usual fried fish and omelet. No need for anything fancy, but do try and make it edible.".
"How rude! ...But i can't actually say he's wrong..." said Estelle.
"Actually, i do have one favor to ask before you head out." said Cassius, "I'd like you to pick up a copy of the Liberl News from the general goods store. They're supposed to be getting the latest in edition today.".
"Got it. One copy of the Liberl News from the general goods store." Said Estelle, who then went to her father and received the Mira needed to pay for the newspaper.
"If there's any money left over, you can have it as your allowance." Said Cassius, "However, that means: no wastefull spending.".
"All right! Thanks, dad!" said Estelle, then she went back to Joshua, "Okay, we're heading out now. See you later, Dad." He said.
"Work hard and give Scherazard my regards" said Cassius.
"Oh, by the way, Dad. Is it going to be all right if you stay at home like this instead of going to the guild today?" asked Estelle, "You haven't been there for a couple of days now.".
"Unfortunately, I have a lot of paperwork to sort out." said Cassius, "But don't worry, I'm carriying a big enough workload that the guild's not likely to fire me anytime soon.".
"(That's not the most convincing thing I've heard out of your mouth...)" thought Estelle, "Oh yeah! Hey Aleister? Want to go into town with us? You haven't stepped foot in there for a few days now.".
"Thanks for asking, but not right now, i have other stuff planned for today." Said Aleister, "Besides, i'd rather not go there only to have to make a run for it.".
"Why would you have to make a run for..." said Estelle, then a thought came to mind, "! Hang on a minute! Did you prank someone again?".
"Maybe." Said Aleister.
"And things got out of hand again, right?" asked Joshua.
"...Maybe..." said Aleister while looking away from the two of them.
"(Sigh) This is REALLY starting to get out of hand now." Said Estelle, "Could you at least tell us who was the unlucky victim so we could apologise to them?".
"Fine, fine, It was... ." said Aleister, before dissolving into a whisper.
"Couldn't hear you there, gonna have to speak up." Said Estelle.
"I pranked Schera, all right?!" said Aleister, and the whole room was in silence.
"(Sigh) What did you do this time?" asked Joshua.
"I was walking around town, minding my own buisness, when i realised she was taking a bath." Said Aleister, "So, thinking it would be funny, i went in, took all of her clothes and hid them somewere she wouldn't think to look, so, when she got out and realised she had nothing to were, i jumped out and said 'good luck going to work without your clothes!'. Then she began to chase me and we ran around the building.".
"Seems fine so far." Said Estelle, "But that's when things started getting out of hand." Said Joshua.
"Yeah, so, she was starting to get to me, so i obted to run outside, thinking that she wouldn't run after me with just a towel, but then, i tripped, and since she did actually run after me when i got outside." Said Aleister, "So, she lifted me up and demanded that i tell her were i hid her clothes or she would give me a real spanking, but just as i was about to tell her, BAM! It happened.".
"What happened?" asked Estelle oblivious, while Joshua could already imagine.
"(Sigh) Her towel fell off." said Aleister, and the two of them were stunned, "And keep in mind that this happened while we were outside, so her face quickly got red.".
"W-Wh-... WHAAAAAT?!" yelled Estelle, "D-Does that mean that you saw her...".
"...In all her glory? Yup." Said Aleister.
"So, what happened next?" asked Joshua, quickly wanting to change the subject, "I'm guessing that's when she brought you back inside for a spanking?".
"Actually, i managed to break free from her grasp and ran as fast as i could into the woods." Said Aleister, "After i made sure she wasn't following me, i went to grab her clothes and took them to Aina, asked her to deliver them to Schera, and immediatly went back here".
"Wow... That's one hell of a story." Said Estelle, "And once again, another one of your harmless pranks ends up blowing out of proportions.".
"Yeah, i know." Said Aleister, "And as you can imagine, ever since that day, i've been triying to avoid her, not going into town much, and whenever she comes here, i quietly sneak out.".
"Well, that explains some things." Said Cassius, "she's been coming to me and asking about you in particular, saying that she needs to have a 'serious talk' with you. But whenever she comes around, you suddenly dissapear, and whenever i say that we should look for you, she says that she'd rather catch you by suprise".
"Well, I'M suprised that this didn't become the talk of the town." Said Estelle, "Didn't you say that this happened out in the open?".
"Well, i wasn't paying attention to my surrondings, but It was in the evening, so I guess either no one was there to see it, or the few people who did see it decided to keep their mouths shut." Said Aleister, "Still though? It's gonna be a good while before i get close to her. But while were talking about it, when you see her for your test, could you tell her that i'm sorry?".
"She's probably gonna want to hear you say it to her face." Said Joshua.
"Yeah i know, still though, i'm gonna have to come up with a bit of courage before i do it." Said Aleister.
"All right then. Well, i guess we'd better get going." Said Estelle, and so she and Joshua went to the door, "Bye now!" she said, "See you two later." Said Joshua, and so they left.
"Well, those two sure are excited today." Said Aleister, "But i guess it makes sense, after today, if everything goes well, the'll be becoming bracers.".
"As i said to Estelle, the'll only be becoming junior bracers." Said Cassius, "The both of them will still have a long way to go even after that. But while were on the subject, what do you think there odds of passing the test are?".
"For Joshua? Pretty good if he's smart about it." Said Aleister, "But for Estelle? Let's just say that, if she does pass, it will probably be because Joshua saved her.".
"(Sigh) even you think so, huh?" said Cassius, "If she really wishes to become a proper bracer and be given the respect she wants, she's gonna have to get her act together.".
"I guess you could say that she'll have to 'git gud' if she wants to make it as a bracer, right?" said Aleister with a big grin.
"And were exactly did you learn that slang?" asked Cassius.
"From a role-playing group that passed here some time ago." said Aleister, "They said it to one of their newer members and they told me what that meant, and let me tell you, it sure was fun playing with them. We went dungeon diving, got some powerfull weapons and items, learned some powerfull moves and spells, and we even fought a frikkin' dragon and shared in it's hearts.".
"Indeed, you wouldn't stop talking about it for the entire duration of their stay, and you sure were sad to see them go." Said Cassius, "I was worried about letting you participate in something as complex as role-playing, but if it get's you to talk with more people, then all the better.".
"Well, it sure was a fun experience, that's for sure." Said Aleister. "And besides, it's not that hard when you understand the rules and have a liberal sense of imagination, I certanly wouldn't have thought to throw a dung pot into poisonous coccons to make them overload and explode.".
"A game that literally rewards people with imagination, who would have thought." Said Cassius, then he got up from his chair, "Well now, i think it's about time i went back to my paperwork, can't delay it that much, after all." He then walked a bit towards his room, but then he stopped to look at Aleister, "Now, you're free to do what you want today, but try and keep yourself out of trouble, all right?".
"Yeah, sure thing dad." Said Aleister.
"Verry well then... Oh, and also, i suggest you try and work up some excuse for Scherazard soon, you won't be able to keep dodging her forever." And with that, he went into his room.
"...Easier said than done, she can be suprisingly scary when she wants to." Said Aleister to himself, "Not that he's wrong though, gonna have to apologise sometime soon.".
Then he got up from his chair with a determined look, "But that can wait a little while longer." Then he formed fists with his hands then pumped his arms back, "After all, today's finally the day that i explore that ruin!".
We then cut to see Aleister in his room at the top floor, and in here we see that in this room there are the mundane things like: A carpet on the floor, a wardrope, a desk and a bed, but there are also some training lances and shields on one side of the room, a counter with some toys and action figures and dolls, some more realistic than others, there was also a book titled: The proper basics on tea parties. On the desk, there is a big book called: Lords of the Elden. Player's handbook. And alongside it there are some sheets of paper with big words saying: Character sheet. We don't see much else from the sheet as it is covered by a normal book, but we do see a name: Syf the Gifted One.
We then see that Aleister is wearing some new clothes, he's still wearing an orange shirt and black shorts, but now he was wearing black fingerless gloves and instead of sandals, he was wearing brown combat boots, he was also wearing a belt with pouches and a hook for Rappel and was wearing black kneepads with a silver shine to them, then he finishes with putting on a small grey cloak with a hood.
"All right now, i'm all suited up." Said Aleister, "Now just to summerise what i have, my lance and shield? Check. Combat Orbment? Check. Healing items? Check. Orbal camera with a clean orbment? Check. A rope? Check. A flashlight? Check. Well, it seems like i have everything i need for my first real life dungeon diving experience.".
He then went out of his house and walked a bit in the Elize highway until he reached a for in the road, he looked towards the northen road and thought "Wonder how Estelle and Joshua are doing with their test", then he turned towards the southern road and walked in that direction.
His destination? The Mistwoods. More specifically, the ruins in the Mistwoods which hide a secret entrance that seemingly only he can enter.
Why? Because it seems fun to him, and because, from what he read in the places that everyone else can enter, that place might just have to hide more than it appears...
Hello to everyone reading, this is indeed real, a new Legend of Heroes crossover story, but let me tell you, this will be something MUCH bigger than what you're expecting, i got big plans for this, and i'll be happy to have you all along the way.
To everyone who follows me, sorry for being MIA for a while, lfe's been complicated for me, and i was getting ready for this, but don't worry, i still plan on working on my other stories alongside this one, even if it might take a while.
So, what do you think about this beginning? I know nothing much has happened that didn't already happend, but the new stuff will be kicking off next chapter, so stay tuned.
And to some of you wondering how a will handle the new stuff alongside the main timeline, i plan on balancing it at best that i can, some things might change, some stuff will stay the same, but you can bet that there will be a LOT of new stuff in this world.
And to some of you wondering just what you read, let me tell you something, while Cold Steel was the first game to be officially localised, this story started actually started with: The legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky. I highly suggest that all of you go play it for yourselves first before reading this story, it's really cheap on steam, or if you don't want to pay for it, then i suggest you go watch a let's play from a Youtuber called "BigKlingy", his playthough is really good and verry detailed, either way, trust me, you'll really enjoy this trilogy if you're a fan of this series.
Anyway, hope you all enjoyed yourselves, and see you next time.
