Hello! This will my first fanfiction story I would've ever made. This story takes massive inspiration from great stories like Pokemon: Jordinio Version, Borne of Caution, and Borne of Desire. It'll begin in Kanto and end in Paldea.

This guy will not only have massive meta knowledge, he will also abuse the hell out of it. Like the island of Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise and the Dratini turned Dragonair in the Safari zone. Not only that but he'll masterfully use a combo of moves for powerful combos.

It'll take small dabs at my personality and how I would act if I was in the anime but not to the point where it's a carbon copy of me. I'm still gonna add the extra SI-OC tag though because I want more clicks on it.

If this story actually becomes half-way eye catching then I'll let the audience choose a team member. The story begins with him randomly reincarnating in a body of a route 1 Pokemon trainer with a Charmander.

Which is part of the 2 unnamed trainers who took the Charmander and Bulbasaur. Can't believe something like that went completely unused to focus on the rivalry with Gary and Ash but maybe they could've given them like a 3 episode battle special for an anniversary other something!

-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-

Waking up to see a Charmander on my side, resting peacefully was the absolute least I could've expected. Why the fuck am I here? Matter of fact better question, how am I here?!

First thing first, how I got here. A question that my dumbass couldn't even comprehend since that absolute last thing that I remembered was taking a nap while my sister said she would cook. I'd bet that she probably burned the house down. Finally after 17 years of being alive after the first day of school I finally died.

Wow.

I died to garbage - no absolute dogshit - cooking skills.

Really?

All the damn rumors dad was telling me about Ella was true.

Your sister nearly exploded the microwave making noodle cups?

Oh no way dad your lying!

Your sister burned water?

Dad that's not even possible!

Your sister tried cooking dried ice?

No way dad, no one's that stupid!

I should of fucking listened instead of deciding to move with my sister after she got her job...

'I'm such a dumbass.' I think in annoyance.

Fuck man!

For now, I have much bigger problems on my head right about now. Like who am I? What relations do I have with my Charmander? Do I have any skills? Are my parents alive? Do I have a Pokedex? Do I have Pokeballs? What moves does my Charmander have? What's his or hers ability? Do I have any other Pokemon?

My thought were straying away and I was getting distracted.

Priorities. We have to stay focused my brothers.

Focus.

After a quick check to my fresh and brand new Pokedex, I found out that my new name was Alex Locker and I was considered to be what was known as a Rookie Trainer. The way that the ranker worked was that any person with 0-2 badges is a rookie trainer, people with 3-4 badges are apprentice trainers, people with 5-6 badgers are advanced trainers, and anyone with 7 or more badges are known as elite trainers.

I was announced as a rookie trainer who has just given a Charmander from Professor Oak just 3 hours earlier. And with the information I scanned Charmander causing a robotic voice to fill my ears.

Charmander: The Lizard Pokemon. The fire on the tip of its tail is a measure of its life. If the Pokémon is healthy, its tail burns intensely.

This Pokemon is male and has the ability Blaze. This Pokemon has a Brave nature. This Pokemon knows the moves Scratch, Growl, Ember, and Metal Claw

Hmm. Having the egg move Metal Claw will be a great foundation to learning Iron Tail and after a quick check on my waist I felt Charmander's pokeball and recalled him in a burst of red light. After a quick search of my location using my Pokedex, it was shown that I only was at the beginning of Route 1.

No wonder the original owners for Bulbasaur and Charmander didn't qualify for the Indigo Plateau.

This lazy asshole was just frolicking around in flower fields instead of battling trainers.

And after checking the other Pokeballs for any other Pokemon, I swiftly realized that I had no other extra Pokemon.

Right away that I checked my backpack for anything useful and overall have 3 potions, 3 antidotes, 5 Pokeballs, both a TM and Kanto Badge case, and camping gear and a surprisingly large amount of dried foods with 2 freshly made sandwiches and Pokemon food. On my waist also consisted of a Berry Pouch.

Walking over to a nearly pond, taking a second to obverse the wild Pidgey and Spearow, along with ignoring a massive heard of Spearow heading into one direction since I'd like to stay free of the shenanigans of Ash and his crew, I saw my appearance which was black hair, black eyes, black and dark red official league jacket, shirt and pants, along with black and red sneakers. I found a secluded part of the route to get important training done.

Utilizing my extremely useful Pokedex to take notes on everything I had planed.

First I'd make Charmander run as fast as he could across the field to try and learn Quick Attack while also training his speed and stamina.

Then after learning those moves I'd make him complete intense physical work outs. While doing this he'll growl and after the main work-outs he'd rapid scratch the air to turn his scratch into Slash.

After that, I have massive plans for Swift for I'll leave that as a break period while I bond with him while noting everything that Charmander gained that was notable. The break period will last an hour and I'll find the most beneficial food for him while also tasting good for him.

At last any new discoveries will be trained but for now I'll make him completely perfect all of his moves to a masterful degree.

The food situation should be fine once I reach Viridian City to do some research on what food is the most beneficial and since I have no money to afford it, I'd have to live off of trainer winnings, tournaments, and league winnings.

Which I'm sure I'd win due to my competition being Season 1 Ash and Gary.

Ending that line of thought, I released Charmander from his Pokeball, exploding in a shower of red light.

"Char!"

I had to hold back a tyrannical laugh.

This'll be really fun.

For now I settled with a smirk.

"Hey Charmander, let's gets some real training done! I want you to become the strongest Charizard one day and this is the start!" I said confidently.

"Charmander Char Char!"

"Alright that's the spirit! First, I need you to do 10 laps around the field as fast as you can go go go!" I stated, getting Charmander right to work.

"Char!" He said, immediately getting to work.

Hell yeah!

Note Entry: Day 2

This is my second day as a Pokemon trainer and so far, things have been going great. Charmander is already on his way learning Quick Attack and I'm starting to feel the heat on his embers but sometimes after Charmander is finished with training ember, he shoots a cloud of gas. Could be good a distraction move if mastered as a variation of Charmander's imperfected Smokescreen.

Yesterday also had a massive explosion of electricity so that's cool I guess.

Note Entry: Day 5

Day fifth as a Pokemon trainer and things have been going surprisingly well! Quick Attack is completed done and the progress on Smokescreen is already done. There is the variation where Charmander shoots a ball of smoke at the opponents eye which we enhanced with accuracy training where I ran with a target on my back while he shot at me. Literally. And the other is just the normal version. Iron Tail was learned surprisingly fast and Ember has been getting much hotter.

I won't stop training it until it evaporates water.

At the same time me and Charmander has been getting much closer while I've been trying to find ways around the language barrier. Might have to find a Abra on Route 24 after destroying the gym there as well, the girls there as slackers anyways. Alakazam would be extremely powerful with moves like Dazzling Gleam, Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, and Psychic.

Note Entry: Day 7

Seventh day and everything that I wanted Charmander to learn he got it. His flames got hot enough to not completely overpower water but decently get around it. When I go through the Viridian Forest I'll destroy all of the bugs and trainers along with Samurai. And I'm thinking about trying to sop the process of learning moves for now since we have a solid foundation of moves. Honestly the progress on slash hasn't gained much progress.

Note Entry: Week 1

Overall this week has been extremely useful for elevating Charmander's basics and fundamentals.

So far Charmander has mastered Scratch, Quick Attack, Growl, Ember, Metal Claw, and Smokescreen.

Plans for next week are to find my next teammate, go through the Viridian Forest, get the Bolder Badge, meet up with Ash, and teach Charmander Dragon Rage.

Potential Teammates (Realistic)

Nidoran: Either gender is fine but I'd prefer Nidoqueen since they have more bulk and Charizard as a species are pretty frail.

Mankey: Could Learn Low Kick for any Onix or any other heavy Rock types Brock might have.

Pidgey: Pidgeot are extremely fast and Pidgeotto can be reliable.

Weedle: Beedrill are useful and evolve fast with an extremely powerful Mega Evolution form.

Magikarp: Maybe if I get a Fishing Rod, Gyarados would be extremely useful with their high attack power and wide move access.

Staryu: Starmie has great coverage and are very reliable.

Horsea: Kingdra is an amazing Pokemon with a surprising Dragon type to increase their versatility.

Shellder: Cloyster with Shell Smash and Iron Defense his an extremely powerful combo based off of his Pokedex entry.

Potential Teammates (Ran off of hopes, dreams, and delusion)

Pichu: If I somehow find one in Viridian Forest LOL.

Pikachu: Even rarer in the forest.

Dratini: Wishful thinking at this point.

Psyduck: Wildly strong psychokinetic powers.

Scyther: Yeah alright bud...

My game plan was to stay here for a full 2 weeks to get some of the basics out of the way, master all of Charmander's current move set and to learn both Quick Attack and Iron Tail using the foundation of channeling steel type energy into his tail instead of his claws.

He finished it all within a week's time.

Not to mention the fact that he also mastered Smokescreen while attempting to creation larger fireballs for Ember. Combining the gas in Smokescreen and the fire in Ember to create what I like to call, Plasma Burst.

How?

I don't know stop asking me!

Instead of pondering on useless thoughts, I continued walking with my Charmander by my side.

In the distance me and Charmander got closer and closer to Viridian City I decided to fill the silence.

"Hey Charmander do you want a nickname? I already have one in mind for you but it's alright if you don't want one," I stated, breaking the calm silence.

"Char..." He said with a thinking hand gesture.

"Charmander!" he says nodding his head with a happy expression on his face.

"Alright then," I reply.

Honestly this all just feels surreal, out of nowhere I'm in the world of Pokemon, the franchise that build many childhoods including mine. Playing SoulSilver on my DS at 1AM in a memory that I will always treasure.

"I think I'm gonna name you Kaiser. It means Emperor since one day we'll be at the top of the world!" I exclaim.

"Charmander!" The newly named Kaiser replied, shooting out an impressive fireball into the air.

I got a new chance at life.

'I'm gonna have some fun with this!' I smiled in excitement.
