Chapter 22: Take and Escape
Freddy and his friends were now officially in Las Vegas. They sat at a table somewhere downtown, discussing what they were going to do. "Now, Gator Enterprises isn't too far from here, but I think it's best we lay some things out first," Freddy explained, "We aren't here to gamble, we aren't here for tourism, and we aren't here for any hotel experiences. We are here to get what files Monty could potentially have and expose them as quickly as we possibly can."
Bonnie and Chica had somewhat disappointed looks on their faces. "What?" asked Freddy. "I just assumed because of all this time we have, assuming we'd be breaking in at dark, we could've perhaps done stuff to pass the time away?" replied Chica. "I mean she does have a point," added Bonnie, "We could plan, then before we take and escape, we have some fun at-" "Lad and lassie," said Foxy, "We must listen to Freddy for this one, save the plans for another time." "Thank you Foxy," Freddy continued, "Obviously, nothing against you guys, Bonnie, Chica, but in the scenario we are currently in, it's best to stick forward with what we plan on doing."
After stopping by a paper and pen store, the gang started their planning in a secluded area. Much like the plans with going into the 3rd town owned building back home, they conducted what they did all those days ago. Freddy was unsuccessful with finding any pictures on the inside or what the inside could look like from the web, so he had to keep that in mind when entering. When observing the Gator Enterprises headquarters, there didn't seem to be much security, but there were indeed many security cameras around. But at this point, hardly a concern.
When the planning was all done, the gang overlooked it. "If there be security, we got the distractions!" said Foxy. "But how do we know it'll work?" asked Bonnie. "Simple, we try it out the moment security gets suspicious," replied Chica. "We might be cutting it close, but I'd prefer if we do it sooner than later," said Freddy, "I don't see us having a whole lot of time, considering Monty will do everything in his power to demolish the pizzeria, now that it's burnt."
"Eh, I didnae believe going in while it be light out is the best idea," said Foxy, "We may be better off doing it at night, just for the sake of not gettin caught easily." Freddy thought about it. "Hmm, true," he said, "But it doesn't get dark for at least another few hours. So what can we do?" Bonnie and Chica started to look at Freddy as if they had their ideas. Freddy sighed, "Okay fine, we can do stuff to pass the time away." "Yes!" Bonnie said. "Woohoo!" added Chica. Foxy rolled his eyes.
Passing the time away ended up being quite fun. Bonnie watched a live concert, Chica checked out the Las Vegas strip, Freddy went gambling, and Foxy slept somewhere, because he got really bored really fast. Was any of this necessary? No, but it would give a good excuse on Bonnie and Chica's sake to do something.
The hours went by and it was officially getting dark. The moment that went into full swing, Freddy and his friends stopped what they were doing and immediately approached Gator Enterprises. "Here we go," he said somewhat nervously, "You still got the stuff we need?" "That we do," replied Chica.
The gang walked the strip to get to Gator Enterprises and eventually, they arrived there yet again. How the 4 of them were going to enter without attracting unwanted attention was questionable. If it didn't work when going from Utah to Nevada, then it certainly wasn't going to work in this scenario. When they wandered to the back of the building however, the odds looked much better. One of the janitors put a brick between the door and it's opening, while taking out the trash and recycling.
"There's our chance!" said Freddy, "Come on!" Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy followed him. They were quick to sneak into the building thanks to the fact the back door barely squeaked. The janitor didn't even bother to glance over to see if there was anything going on in that direction.
Freddy and his friends were now in the janitors area. They found a map of where they were at and what the rest of the building would be like. Obviously, they were on the 1st floor, but Monty's office was on the 5th floor. This ment they'd have to take stairs or elevator to get there. They were admittedly unsure of how busy the building was and if ot was even open, but given how far they were now, there was no turning back.
"Up to the 5th floor we go," said Freddy. They exited the janitors area and went down the hall to where the waiting room was, just before the receptionist's desk. However, nobody was present within the vicinity. They went past it and down another hall, eventually getting to an elevator. When it was called to the level they were at, it luckily didn't have anyone in it. Soon enough, they got in it and it slowly took them up to the 5th floor.
Unknown to the gang, security had been watching them on the cameras since they had entered through. 2 guards had been watching them closely. "It's Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy!" said one of them, on the phone with the police, "They're the ones wanted by police back in Utah! Our boss Montgomery Gator warned us about them ahead of time." The second guard was watching where the 4 were going through the cameras. Monty had clearly warned them ahead of time, although it was not precisely known when he did.
Freddy and the gang arrived to the 5th floor. They quickly made their way to Monty's office, which still had that broken door from before. "Someone got pissed," remarked Chica. "Well, he was known for his anger," said Foxy. "What do we do now?" asked Bonnie. "You three guard here," said Freddy, "I'm gonna go get what is needed. If security and or the police show up, you know what to do." Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy nodded in response.
Freddy went into Monty's office and looked for any files he could, but couldn't find a thing. Then he saw Monty's computer and a lightbulb went off in his head. Luckily for Freddy, Monty forgot to log out of his computer because of him bursting out of the building in rage on that very night. He was greeted with A LOT of files within Monty's computer. "Oh my god," Freddy said in complete shock. It wasn't just solely the steps and plans for just Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, it was the steps and plans for past and future restaurants.
While Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy guarded, they suddenly heard police sirens. They looked out the window and saw them enter the building. "Here they come boys!" said Chica. "You know the drill!" called Freddy. "Time to give them landlubbers a show they won't forget!" said Foxy. "Or they might come in guns blazing because we are wanted!" said Bonnie.
The sounds of the police could be heard climbing up the stairs. They then could be seen at the end of the hall. This also included Monty's security guards. "Las Vegas Metropolitan Police! Put your hands up!" yelled one of the officers. Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy now knew it was showtime.
"Wait, wait wait!" said Foxy. The officers and security stopped, while also having their guns aimed at the 3. He then took out his kazoo and starting playing Tequila with it. The 2 guards as well as the police just looked on at Foxy in confusion. Then Foxy said, "Pepperoni!" before continuing on as if nothing had happened. "That's not even the word Foxy," Chica facepalmed.
Freddy was still checking out the computer files. Eventually, he found and got all of what he needed. He then typed in the search bar to find any site that lead straight to the government. Freddy found a site where you could send things to Utah's state government. But given how the police were close by and how sending the files would take time because of how many there were, he'd have to store them on something. "Damn!" Freddy said in frustration.
Foxy ran out of the breath after playing for as long as he did. "I cannae do it anymore!" he said. Bonnie and Chica looked at each other, not sure what to do next. The officers then looked at each other confused. "That was a distraction!" said one of Monty's security. The officers suddenly went back into focus. "Alright, we've seen enough," said one officer.
"Wait! Before any of you try something, do you like opera?" The officers nodded, while both of Monty's security guards looked at the police in total shock. Chica then took out a boombox and classical music started to play. Chica then started to sing some opera, really catching Bonnie's attention the most.
To Freddy's luck, he found a usb stick in one of the desk drawers. But before he went foward, he checked to see if there was enough space. Whether out of sheer coincidence or just sheer luck, the usb had nothing on it, meaning the files could indeed be stored on there with no problems. It helped the computer told him how much space was available when putting it in. From there, the files being moved from computer to usb began.
Meanwhile, Chica just concluded singing her opera song. The police officers clapped, one of which had a tear roll down their cheek. They clapped including both Foxy and Bonnie. She looked at Foxy and nodded, before looking at Bonnie. "Beautiful! Beautiful!" said Bonnie, slightly blushing. Chica heard this and may or may not have been slightly blushing herself.
"That was another distraction!" said Monty's first guard. "They're playing tricks on you guys!" added Monty's second guard. But before the police could fully react or get back into their job, Bonnie distracted them just like Chica and Foxy before him. "Hold up!" he said, before taking out a giant ball, "How about some juggling?" Chica and Foxy also took out balls, but smaller. The officers once again nodded, while both of Monty's guards were seething with anger.
The computer was still fitting in the files to the usb. It was taking quite some time as expected, while Freddy was getting more anxious. "Come on!" he said, "Who knows how long these distractions will keep the police occupied for!" It was almost complete too, but to Freddy, it seemed to take an eternity.
Bonnie was balancing himself on the big ball. "Watch and learn!" he said. The officers watched with interest, while Monty's guards just glared. Foxy got a ball ready and threw it up to Bonnie. Bonnie caught it and began bouncing it. Chica then got a ball and threw it to Bonnie. Just like before, Bonnie caught it and bounced the balls this time from one and to another. However, it wasn't over just yet. Both Chica and Foxy threw 2 extra balls in. Now he was really juggling.
The police officers watched in fasination, while Monty's security couldn't take it anymore. "This is total bullshit!" yelled the first guard. "We're taking care of this our selves!" added the second guard. Both of them charged for for Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. This made Bonnie lose concentration and he fell off his ball. The balls he was juggling ended up falling on the guards, causing injury.
Knowing that time was up, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy ran to Monty's office was where Freddy still was. The computer just finished sending the files to the usb. Freddy took it out of the power box, when he noticed his friends standing just short of him. "What are you doing here?" asked Freddy, "Shouldn't you be guarding?" "Police are distracted, but I don't they will be for much longer," said Bonnie. "We did all our distractions, so we're kinda out," added Chica. "Monty had security, they be the only ones who refused to fall for what we had," also added Foxy, "We took em down before goin here. So my advice is since ye be done captain, run!"
The 4 ran out of Monty's office and down the opposite end of the hall. Before running though, Freddy took the usb with him. The officers were confused at what their original task was ment to be. "What the hell were we doing again?" asked one of them. "I don't know, watching a show from the mascots of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza?" replied another, "Wait a minute, why were doing tricks for us?" "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IT WAS A DISTRACTION!" yelled the first guard, as the second one facepalmed.
At the end of the hall, there was an elevator but no stairs. The gang arrived to it right as the police started to chase after them. "Now they are REALLY coming!" said Chica. Freddy quickly pressed the call button and to he and his friend's luck, the elevator was already there. They immediately went in but none of them knew what button to press. If they pressed the 1st floor button, the cops and security surely would be down there waiting. If they pressed the roof floor button (which was just above them), the cops and security likely wouldn't think of going up there, but the chances of escaping would also be more slim.
The running from those chasing the gang were getting louder and louder. Freddy pressed the roof button, the doors closing right after he did so. "The roof? Why the roof?" asked Bonnie. "If we go downstairs, they'll be expecting our arrival," Freddy answered, "Our odds of getting down aren't known, but we'll think of something."
The elevator reached the roof and to no surprise, there was no way to get down from there. "And we be stuck up here," sighed Foxy, who was the least surprised. "We just wait here till we here them come back up?" asked Chica. "Perhaps, but that in itself might be a risk too," Freddy replied. "We're gonna be stuck up here forever!" Bonnie complained as he found a can of beans and threw it up into the air.
Suddenly, it made contact with something. This caught the attention of both him and his friends as they heard a guy screaming before crashing down to the ground with his hang glider. Turns out Bonnie had unintentionally hit a guy with a can of beans who was obviously hang gliding midair. The dude was knocked out cold after hitting the rooftop full force.
"Why do I have to amplify our problems?!" asked Bonnie feeling like a jerk now. "To be fair, who in their right mind thinks hang gliding over the Las Vegas strip at night is a good idea?" said Chica. "Don't worry Bonnie, he's not dead," said Freddy, checking to see if the guy was alright. "He just be knocked out is all," added Foxy, before pausing, "I have an idea, and ye may call me mental for this one, but..."
Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy all strapped themselves into the hang glider. "I think this is ment to hold only 2, not 4!" said Chica, feeling crammed in with her friends. "It's not spacious, but it's the only way to get down from here," said Foxy. "You guys ready?" asked Freddy. "Ready as we'll ever be," Bonnie replied doubtfully.
They then jumped off Monty's HQ. Decending down faster and faster while also trying to stay airborne. Chica was nervous, though hard to tell if it was because of the height or where they would land. "I believe I can fly!" Chica sang, "I believe I'm gonna die! While all the people scream and cheer-"
A loud and deep honk could be heard. They all looked in front of them and saw they were approaching a tour bus. The 4 of them screamed, as did the bus driver as she slammed on the breaks, startling the passengers. Freddy and his friends slammed into the bus's front window as the bus itself stopped. The gang and the broken glider slid down the window and to the ground.
Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy got up and out of the wreak. "That hurt SO badly," said Freddy, holding his head. "I won't be surprised if we all got concussions from that blow," added Chica. "Hey! What the hell!" the bus driver yelled. "Pardon us lass," said Foxy, "We be havin a long night." "Phew," Bonnie said wirh relief, "At least we got away from-"
They then heard police sirens down the street. "Blimey! The blasted bobby be searchin for his captain and crew!" said Foxy. "Not for long!" said Freddy, "Follow me!" His friends then followed him away from the scene. "You forgot to clean up your glider!" the bus driver yelled, but none of the 4 replied back to her or acknowledged her, "Why do I always encounter the weirdos?"
