"Should we be here?" Emma whispered in Killians ear.

"There certainly not used to having outsiders"

Emma and Killian walked hand in hook, quietly as possible they whispered to each other, making their way with Elsa and Red through a dark underground cave, lit with lanterns. Illuminating the faces of wolves, who all glared and growled at their visitors, while they walked through their den.

"We shouldn't stay too long then"

"Agreed, but we need to get your wound attended to"

Emma hand went to her chest the echo of pain still lingered, the usual hum of her magic was gone, replaced with a jolted burning.

"I'll be fine, just need to keep moving"

"Emma..."

"I thought Red's mom was dead"

"Guys, they can still hear you" Red said now glaring at them too.

"Right, sorry" Emma replied.

The finally stopped walking, reaching a cozy room with beds some food, water, and thankfully no more glaring eyes.

"You can nurse you wounds here, there limited provisions for us all though, we can't spare much".

"We appreciate your letting us into your home, but we can't stay long" Elsa said.

"I understand"

Killian ferried Emma over to a seat while the others talked grabbing a wet cloth, he tried to clean her wound.

"It's ok, I can do it"

"Emma please, let me"

"Ok, but you have a cut above your eye too"

"It doesn't need stitches, you do"

Killians voice shook as he said it, he knew what Emma needed a Dr and medicine, two things they didn't have access to here, he feared the worst.

"Once I get my strength back, I can try to use my magic and heal it myself".

"I don't know when that will be, we can't seem to find a safe place to rest"

"I'll be ok, promise"

"Don't make promises you can't keep love"

Killian was deflated as his concern rose; keenly aware Emma wasn't herself weakening her at the worst possible time. As he continued to bandage her bleeding arm, Emma was preoccupied watching Red reunite with her mother.

The look of longing in Anitas eyes as she watched Red, wondering hoping for a connection to still be there. It was the same exact pained expression her parents always had. As their eyes followed Emma's every move at times, she hated it, the pressure it put on her. Never considering she would miss it, now watching enviously as she saw a family reunite.

"What's on your mind"?

"I was so mad at them for so long, couldn't let them just love me"

"Emma, they had to send you away to another world, alone, it's complicated"

"Thats it Killian, we can get to Storybrooke the same way"

"What, cast another curse?"

"No, the wardrobe"

"First, we need food and shoes"

"You want to find our belongings"

"Won't be hard now, we have a whole community of sniffer dogs that can help"

Elsa came over to help with some food and water, the three tried their best to clean themselves up, eating some food left out for them.

"Are you ok, you don't seem happy to see me Red?" Anita

"I'm confused, this a lot, ok". Red

Red keeping herself a good distance away from Anita, arms at her sides she shrugged, knowing what she was looking at was real, she still couldn't believe it.

"Well, I can answer any questions, help you make sense of this".

"How can I make sense of it, Granny told me you were dead, you were here all this time"
"To her maybe, I decided to live differently"

"Live differently, is that why everyone in Arendale fears wolfs"

"A lot has changed since you've been gone, there has been fighting over what little is left of this world, we do what we must to survive"

"You mean kill"

"It's not the worst thing"

Red was silenced by this, she stood up pursing her lips and letting out a deep breath before speaking again.

"What do you really want to talk about?"

"You left, you never came back"

"I, had to give you your best chance, then the curse took you away"

"Ok" replied looking down, unsure of this vague explanation.

Anita reached out to touch Red face in awe of the sixteen-year-old standing before her, unable to hold herself back, but she recoiled away.

"I'm sorry, I just can't believe I'm looking at you, I wasn't sure if it worked, nothing happened we almost gave up hope, again"

"If what worked"?

"When we realised the curse had been broken, I had to find you, used a blood to blood spell, it called to you, brought you home"

"I was home..."

Red's heart began to race as she looked over to her friends sitting just metres away, covered In blood exhausted and defeated.

"My friends, were ripped away from their families, because of you"

"What"!

Red's thoughts and feelings spiralling with this overdose of information, as the truth sunk in her mind thinking back on the moment the portal opened. The magical doorway burst with light only after her and Killian entered the room, Red's face went pale, while realisation set in.

"I, I have to go"

"Wait no, please"

Ignoring the pleads of her mother a stranger to her, she walked over to the others, and they handed her some food. However, Anita didn't leave hovering just behind the group as they chatted, unable to walk away fear grounded her.

"We can find the castle; I thinks it's a few days hike from here" Killian

"We won't get far, not in our socks". Emma

"I can try and make shoes "Elsa said, "Without the ice skate though"

"We have shoes, if you need" Anita added.

"You don't understand it's not just shoes, they took irreplaceable items" Emma noted, clutching her chest were the necklace her mother gave her used to be.

"We have to get back, what they took". Killian seconded, looking down where his hook should be.

"Red, can you track our belongings"? Elsa

"No" Anita said, this time they turned around to face her.

"I can certainly do it" Red

"You misunderstand, there is only place your things could be, the Lou market" Anita

"They sold our stuff"

Emma stood up frustrated ready to march over there now but just ended up pacing around. Killian huffed wanting her to be able to relax for amount, knowing that that blood loss could cause her to faint.

"I would be careful, the kind of trading that happens there, it's not just clothes stolen from people that have been robbed, you'll find cursed items, dark magic all sorts of dangerous creatures" Anita explained.

"We'll manage" Red said in a huff.

Killian turned away his fist clenched growing forever frustrated with this strange new world, nothing like what he used to know.

"We never thought, about what the impact the curse had on the enchanted forest" Elsa said

"We are all casualties of the Queens vengeance". Anita said looking towards Emma.

"Ok just point us in the direction of this market, we can find our things and be on our way". Emma replied sensing her distrust of her.

"Really you want to go?". Anita questioned bewildered.

"Yeah, we have to find a way home, were not going to get answers here". Red said.

The began to get up from eat some of the food offered to them by Anita, it was hard to resit they where all exhausted and hungry.

"Red, you can wait here if you want, the rest of us can go". Killian said.

"No, I need some air... can you just tell us where this market is". Red said looking towards Anita.

"When you finished with your meal and properly mended your wounds". Anita

"We don't have time to wait" Emma said.

"Emma, she's right we need to rest first, you need to rest please". Killian insisted.

"I'm fine"

Emma had only just stopped pacing now her voice at an octave much higher than normal, what little faith she had in happy endings was wavering. Wanting desperately to find a way home, knowing in her heart something was wrong even after all this time, it still ached.

"He's right, we were lucky to get out of there alive" Elsa

"Ok, just a short rest, then we keep moving" Emma
