Responses to questions and statements:
-Austin: Yeah, got recently inspired by the E-Day trailer, though the idea has all of Noble team arriving at Sera, not just Noble six. Super excited for it! Not going to lie...seeing Dom again got me emotional.
-Again, all of those sound like really cool ideas though I'm not that knowledgeable on IPs like God of War. I did watch a couple episodes of power rangers lost galaxy when I was younger, though I didn't finish it. Still remember thinking that it was somehow connected to the Starship Troopers universe since they had reused the armor. Was really confused when I found out it wasn't at all connected. I was pretty stupid back then, still am if I'm being honest :(.
The Fall of the Planet of the Apes (Halo x Planet of the Apes crossover)
Summary: Noble Six and Dot had arrived on a world to find the human race having been overtaking centuries ago by evolved apes, with most of humanity having turned feral and the rest isolated in sealed enclaves to prevent contamination. Now, they must work with what's left of the intelligent human race to help bring mankind back to dominance. Or die trying.
"Do you not understand where we are?" Mae asked Trevathan as the commotion outside died down. "When things got bad and the government went underground, this is where half of it went. With all their technology and all their weapons."
She sat down as she tried to make him see reason. "Don't you see, that ape cannot have what is inside."
However, Trevathan remained adamant. "You got to stop thinking about the way things were, and and start thinking about the way things are. This is a good life and you have a chance to be a part of it."
"What... build a world for the apes?" Mae asked with her voice pretty much dripping in sarcasm.
"It is already their world!" Trevathan stood up from where he was sitting as he threw up his hands exasperated.
The two stared at each other before the older man sighed as he ran his right hand down his face in frustration. "Look... you got to stop listening to that behemoth and that woman that lives in his fancy suit. Just because they weren't able to save their humanity doesn't mean they can save ours."
"Hey!" Mae shouted fiercely as she gave him a glare that could make ice melt. "Don't you dare say that. Are you already forgetting what he did for this!? What he did for you!?"
"Of course not!" The aging man defended. "But let's look at the facts here. He is just one man and the apes already outnumber us a hundred to one. If we continue to follow him, it's just going to end up with what's left of the human race dead!"
Before the two could continue arguing, a monotone and modulated voice filled the room.
"Perhaps."
Mae actually jumped as the two spun around to meet the source. The air shimmed before them as a towering man in dark green armor appeared before them. Mae looking upon the figure with reverence and sheer loyalty as Trevethan's eyes became filled with fear.
"Uh-" He started before he was cut off by the super human.
"But I would rather go out fighting and trying, as opposed to living under the foot of a species that looks down and hunts us for sport." He moved upon Trevathan as he drew his kukri, a gift from a close friend of his before he died.
"W-Wait, let me just-"
"Let me show you just what exactly we do to traitors to mankind where I'm from."
That's it for now. Again, hope you all enjoy the things that my blueberry sized brain manages to generate. See you all next time, guys. And remember... stay frosty, gents.
