Chapter 8

Here we go! It's time for the War!

Kurosaki Clinic.

Ichigo was at his home when he received the message from Issei about Gingo making his move and that he had Ukitake captured in the Xcution base before informing Rukia of the situation until the two saw that their phones were jammed as Ginjo appeared and smiled at Ichigo through the phone.

{"Hello, Ichigo. I hope you're enjoying your day.} Ginjo said while laughing at Ichigo's angered face.

"If you even think about hurting my friends, I will-!"

{What kill me? You may be content to deal with Hollows, but you don't have the nerve or balls to kill a human. No, that's more of your friend, the Overlord, who's been a pain in my neck since day one. Though I am surprised, he didn't interfere with you coming here to train with your powers, though it matters not since I plan on killing both you and Issei before taking your powers and using them to not only kill Ukitake but also tear down the Soul Society.}

"Like Hell, I'll let that happen! Come and face me like a real fighter!" Ichigo shouted before Ginjo groaned and rolled his eyes.

{You really take all the fun out of being a villain, you know that? Also, do you really think I'm dumb enough to stay at my base? I destroyed it after I initiated my plan to move to my new place. Anyway, you won't be able to find it since I have a special plan for you and your friends.}

"What is it?"

{Simple. A game. You see, I have generals all over Karakura Town, and they're ready to face each of your friends, but they can only attack if I give the order. This is my deal, so listen carefully. Ukitake is in my possession, and I've set up my generals for you and your friends throughout Karakura Town to face in battle. Each of you will face one of my generals. The traps where my generals are will only be deactivated if you can eliminate them. If one of you dies, the rest will remain trapped. Enjoy the game, for this will be fun! For me, that is.} Ginjo said before ending the call, which made Ichigo rush out of his home to Urahara Shoten to see if his friends were there so they could come up with a plan to find Ginjo as soon as possible.

However, Ginjo was smiling at his base since he knew Ichigo would react this way before pulling out a certain Gameboy that one of his colleagues had before he was killed before tapping the power button.

"Now it's time to get the game started," Ginjo said as he selected the characters: Ichigo, Chad, Uryu, Rukia, Tatsuki, Soifon, Orihime, and Urahara.

Ginjo was able to obtain a small piece of the gamer Fullbring to set up the traps and just enough power to begin his plan to separate the players to take them out one by one.

Ginjo smiled to himself as he looked at each of his generals before talking the start button.

"Now it's time for the players to meet their match," Ginjo said while Ichigo was heading to Urahara Shoten until the Substitute Soul Reaper was swallowed by some pixels that grabbed him before Ichigo yelled as he landed in a familiar place.

The bridge of Karakura Town.

"This is-"

"Yes, Ichigo. This is where I died." Misaki said as Ichigo turned to the left to see the woman he wasn't able to save.

"M-Mom?" Ichigo stuttered, which made Misaki Kurosaki smile at her son as she walked over to him and hugged his back. This made Ichigo relax and cry tears of happiness as he had missed this feeling for so long.

"I'm so proud to see you've grown up to such a fine young man," Misaki said, which made Ichigo laugh a bit as he cried before the mother and son had a warm embrace, unaware of the dangers that were around them.

Rukia yelled as she fell and collapsed next to a familiar face before calling out to her captain.

"Captain Ukitake!" Rukia yelled as she rushed over to see if he was okay but not until he groaned a bit seeing Rukia again in good condition.

"I'm happy to see you doing well here," Ukitake said before Rukia put him to sleep with a Kido spell. She began to heal his body until a voice made her pause in fright.

"Rukia? Is that really you?" The voice said until Rukia turned around slowly to see a person approaching the duo, which made Rukia silence a gasp that wanted to escape her mouth.

Granted, his attire was different since the person was wearing a dress garb that covered his entire body, unlike the Soul Reaper uniform. He also wears a frilly noble's coat that acts as his replacement jacket and a single white gentleman's glove.

But his face was so familiar since he had jet black hair and the warm, kind eyes that she saw in her brother's figure before he died on that day because of her actions.

"L-Lieutenant K-Kaien Sh-Shiba?" Rukia asked before the person smiled as he held out his arms for her to hug him.

"It's me, Rukia. How are you doing?" Kaien asked before Rukia rushed over to him and punched him in the stomach a few times with light punches, which made her cry tears of happiness as she saw someone she cared for.

"You idiot! Idiot!" Rukia shouted as she cried into Kaien's arms. She smiled down at her and patted her head as a brother would do to comfort their sister.

Chad found himself in Karakura Park, where Shrieker awaited him as the massive bat-like Hollow chuckled at the human before shrinking to a human-like form with his massive wings in his back, but his tongue was hanging out of his mouth a bit now.

"It's good to see my next meal is brought before me, but I do thank you for taking in my dessert," Shrieker said as he lifted a cage to a certain parakeet, which made Chad want to attack Shrieker stopped as he pointed to a few of his little...kids...that were around the base of the cage.

"I suggest you stop, for if you try to go after the brat, then I'm afraid your little bird will be sent to Heaven faster than you can say Fullbringer," Shrieker said as he laughed at the boy's shocked expression before Shrieker began to attack as he flew towards Chad and punched him in the gut, sending Chad flying back into the slide, that bent in when Chad made an impact.

Tatsuki and Uryu were fighting many zombified humans, which made Tatsuki uneasy about fighting these people while Uryu kept firing arrows at the humans.

"What are you waiting for Tatsuki? Use your Sacred Gear!" Uryu shouted as he fired more arrows, but Tatsuki struggled. She looked at the bane of her opponent, and they laughed at their misfortune.

"Aw, what's the matter, little girl? Can't fight a few dead people like your friend?" The Hollow laughed, which made Tatsuki growl in anger at her until she was sent back by a zombie slamming a girder into Tatsuki, sending her back into the base that they were trapped in, which made the Hollow laugh even more at their fruitless attacks.

This was Numb Chandelier, a large Hollow whose body is composed of twelve large, lavender tentacles of sufficient length for her to prop herself up between buildings. Her mask resembled a jellyfish, with six appendages at the bottom and three circles of protrusions at the top. She had heart-shaped openings around her eyes, and she had long teeth with no lips or gums. Her Hollow hole was above her mask at the meeting point of her tentacles.

"Aw, now don't tell me you're going to hurt these poor souls, are you? What kind of monster would harm such innocent souls?" Chandelier asked as she laughed at Tatsuki, who glared at her with anger that made her eyes turn emerald green while her body began to glow an eerie crimson red, and claws began to form on her hands as well as fangs.

"Grrrr...You're a disgusting piece of shit, you know that bitch?" Tatsuki asked as she growled even more at Numb Chandelier, who smiled as she saw this.

"Perfect." Numb Chandelier said as she saw Tatsuki's eyes begin to become more of a dragon's eyes.

Orihime was isolated in an abandoned hospital, her heart pounding as she heard the haunting growls of the Arrancar generals lurking in the shadows.

Orihime was scared since she was alone and didn't have anyone with her to protect her from danger.

No Ichigo, no Issei, no Tatsuki, none of her friends were there to help her since Orihime was a coward at heart even though she was such a kind person but whoever was here in this hospital made her afraid since Orihime saw her brother die right in front of her at a hospital as well.

The growls of the Hollow scared Orihime even more as she hid under a hospital desk but couldn't tell where it was coming from, so she looked at the security cameras that helped her see her captor, and the appearance terrified her.

The Hollows's body was a dull purple with a white neck. His head sprouted out like that of a hammerhead shark, and he had two rows of 8 teeth with no eyes on his head. He had two gills on each side of his chest, as well as fins for arms and two bulky legs. His Hollow hole was located in the center of his chest.

"Where are you...little guppy?" Hammerhead asked as he stopped for a moment and took in a sniff of the air, which made him smile in joy.

"I smell you," Hammerhead said as he licked his lips and growled a bit as he walked from the far end to the security desk, which made Orihime shut her mouth close as she held her breath and waited for Hammerhead to move on until the shark did so.

Orihime didn't hesitate to let out her breath due to her fear of the idea that the shark might be right outside her hiding spot.

Once she heard a door close, Orihime let out her breath slowly and headed towards the opposite direction that Hammerhead was in, hoping she could find a way out of the prison she was in before feeling the hair clips hoping the fairies could help her. Still, they were prevented from being summoned to help Orihime in her time of need.

However, things were so lucky for Orihime.

"Ah!" Orihime yelled after she dodged Cero from Hammerhead.

"I found you..." Hammerhead said before he roared and chased after her in the hospital hall.

Meanwhile, with the Second Squad Captain.

"Die!" Soifon yelled as she punched another Hollow in the face before scoffing at the army of Hollows coming with a Menos Grande roaring in the air.

'Dammit. I've barely even made a dent in their forces.' Soifon said in her mind as she panted with her Shunko, starting to lessen and become weaker.

"I need to buy Lady Yoruichi and that Hat-wearing jerk as much time as I can," Soifon said before creating a massive tornado punch with the Shunko and sending many Hollows to the afterlife, which made her smile as she continued using her new speed to her advantage to dodge many of the large Hollows.

That was until the Menos decided to step in, which resulted in Soifon in getting swatted as a fly into a building, much to her annoyance due to her being distracted by the small fries.

"Dammit. This isn't...how I'm...going out." Soifon stuttered as she gritted her teeth in annoyance; the Hollows laughed at her defeated and tired form until one dared to approach her, which made Soifon kick the Hollow away from her being.

The other Hollows began to approach her, which made Soifon look defeated. She closed her eyes and apologized to both her friend and savior.

'I'm sorry, Lady Yoruichi. I wasn't able to catch up to you or even beat you.' Soifon said in her mind as she recalled the smiling face of the one who helped point out to her how she still had a long way to go.

'Heh. Sorry, Issei, but it looks like I'm finished.' Soifon said until hearing a squeal broke Soifon out of her lamenting before she looked to see crimson arrows fall from the sky and rain down on the Hollows before chains behind the arrows that went into the Hollows until the powers of the Hollows went to the shooter.

"Are you okay, little Bee?" A voice asked, which made Soifon look up to see an Angel of Death who wasn't pleased with the Hollows daring to harm Soifon.

Soifon's breath was caught in her throat. Descending from the sky was an imposing figure wreathed in a dark, ethereal aura. His wings, vast and black as night, were lined with spectral chains that shimmered with a menacing glow. His eyes, glowing crimson, burned with an intense fury that sent a chill through the remaining Hollows. In his hand, he held a scythe, its blade crackling with energy that seemed to hunger for the souls of the wicked.

It was Issei Hyoudou, in his full Vollständig form, Verdammnis König. He descended like an angel of death, his presence overwhelming and awe-inspiring. The surviving Hollows recoiled in fear as Issei's gaze swept over them, his expression dark and unforgiving.

"Are you okay?" Issei repeated, his voice gentler as he looked at Soifon, concern replacing the fury in his eyes.

Soifon could only nod, too stunned to speak. Issei smiled at this before he turned his attention back to the Hollows, his scythe twirling in his hand with lethal grace. With a single sweep, he cut down the remaining creatures, their forms dissolving into nothingness as the chains around him absorbed their essence into his scythe and chains.

The Menos Grande, sensing the danger, attempted to retreat, but Issei was faster. He raised his scythe, and with a powerful swing, a wave of crimson energy erupted from the blade, slicing through the Menos in a flash of light. The towering Hollow let out a pained roar before it attempted to strike Issei with a point-blank Cero, which scared Soifon before the Menos Grande unleashed it. Still, to her shock, Issei merely lifted his scythe and blocked it with the blade as the energy went into his scythe until the Cero ended with the scythe blade being much larger and sharper than it was before which made the Menos stagger back at the Angel before it.

"Rest in peace," Issei said as he lifted his scythe and spun it in his left hand before swinging it at the Menos.

"Aeternum Purge (Eternal Purge)," Issei said as the Menos saw a massive spectral vortex of souls unleashed, sweeping across the battlefield like a cataclysmic wave until it saw nothing else but darkness.

The attack soon ended while Issei said a prayer for the souls to find peace in the afterlife before he landed softly beside Soifon, his wings folding behind him as he reached out a hand to help her up. She took it, still in awe of the sheer power he had displayed.

"Thank you," Soifon managed to say, her voice trembling with a mix of relief and gratitude.

Issei smiled gently at her before hugging her in his arms, which made Soifon blush as she felt grateful, but for some reason, her heart wouldn't stop beating loudly just from his presence.

"Aw, it's so nice to see my little Bee and apprentice be so close together," Yoruichi said with a smirk, which made Soifon blush before Issei flipped her off.

"Soifon. You should go back to Urahara Shoten to get healed up and ready just in case the other Hollows are freed from their traps if they kill Ichigo and the others. I don't know about all of them, but I know Ichigo will be able to defeat his opponent." Issei said before he opened his wings.

"Can't we go find them?" Soifon asked until Yoruichi replied.

"No. It's part of the prison system. Neither can be freed from the prison until only one survives. All we can do now is prepare." Yoruichi said before Soifon let out a sigh but nodded until she grabbed Issei's left sleeve and pulled him close to her.

"You better not die, you idiot," Soifon said before pecking his cheek, which surprised Issei until he nodded and pecked her forehead.

"You too, bumblebee," Issei said before taking off to the sky, which made Soifon's mouth become a small smile as she followed his wings until she turned to see Yoruichi with a teasing grin on her face.

"So...when are you two going to fuck each other?"

"LADY YORUICHI!" Soifon yelled, knowing she would never have her teacher let her forget this moment for as long as she lived.

At Xcution Hidden Base.

Ginjo was enjoying his entertainment by watching all of his enemies face their enemies. At the same time, he was safe from Kisuke Urahara, Yoruichi, and Soifon, thanks to a special magic item that he borrowed from his colleague that assisted him in obtaining the Hogyoku that gave his generals even more power.

"Ah, things are finally going my way, and once I end these children, I'll absorb their powers and then take the Hogyoku for myself," Ginjo said with a smile before hearing something that was flying in the air until Issei himself broke down the door to his hidden base as he stood below the balcony that Ginjo was standing on top of before he walked towards Issei with a smile on his face.

"Ah, the Overlord of Karakura Town. Welcome to my humble abode. Do you like it? I thought it was perfect for hiding from the real threats to my plan. Still, thanks to my sponsor, I have the final piece I need to not only gather myself an army of loyal followers but also those who will serve me without a moment's hesitation. Who better than the Overlord himself?" Ginjo asked rhetorically until he pulled out an item that took on the form of the legendary Iron Crown of Lombardy, which consists of a circlet of gold and jewels fitted around a central silver band, which tradition holds to be made of iron beaten out of the Holy Nails that were embedded in the True Cross when Jesus was crucified.

This was the Alphecca Tyrant.

Ginjo stood atop his balcony, gazing down at Issei with a smug expression. He held the Alphecca Tyrant, the legendary crown, in his hands, its golden and jeweled circlet gleaming ominously in the dim light of the room. The air crackled with power as Ginjo prepared to use the relic to bend Issei to his will.

"You've been a thorn in my side for far too long, Overlord," Ginjo said, his voice dripping with arrogance. "But now, with the power of the Alphecca Tyrant, even you will fall under my control."

He descended the stairs, his footsteps echoing in the silence as he approached Issei. The Overlord stood still, his head lowered, his expression hidden. Ginjo smirked, holding the crown aloft.

"Let's see how the mighty Overlord fares when his mind is no longer his own," Ginjo taunted, placing the crown on Issei's head. The moment it touched Issei, a surge of power erupted from the crown, sending a shockwave through the room. Issei's body trembled as the Alphecca Tyrant's power attempted to assert its control over him.

Ginjo watched with a satisfied grin as Issei seemed to falter, his head still bowed. "Yes… submit to me. Bow to your new master," Ginjo commanded, confident in his victory.

Issei's body stilled, and for a moment, there was nothing but silence. Ginjo stepped closer, reveling in his apparent success. "Now, to prove your loyalty," Ginjo said, his voice full of mockery, "kill yourself."

But as the words left his mouth, something shifted. The air grew heavy with a dark, oppressive energy. Ginjo's smile faltered as he noticed Issei's shoulders shaking, not with fear, but with laughter. Low, menacing laughter that sent a chill down Ginjo's spine.

Issei's head lifted, revealing a twisted grin on his face, his eyes glowing with a terrifying power that sent a chill down Ginjo's spine as if the Grim Reaper appeared before him to claim his soul and send him to Hell.

"You really thought you could control me?" Issei's voice was cold, filled with disdain.

Ginjo's eyes widened in shock as Issei's hand shot out, gripping the handle of his scythe. Before Ginjo could react, Issei swung the scythe in a blur of motion, the blade slicing through Ginjo's abdomen with brutal efficiency.

Ginjo stumbled back, clutching his stomach in pain and disbelief, trying to stop the bleeding while trying to wrap his head around why it didn't work.

"You… you're supposed to be under my control!" Ginjo gasped, his voice trembling.

Issei chuckled darkly, his aura growing more intense, the very air around him crackling with energy.

"You're nothing but a fool if you think you could control my mind with a pathetic disgrace of a Longinus that disgrace's the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross," Issei said, his voice dripping with malice as chains began to materialize around the room, slithering like serpents, sealing off any means of escape.

Ginjo's confidence shattered, replaced by a creeping dread as he realized the gravity of his mistake. Issei's presence had transformed into something far more sinister, more malevolent than anything Ginjo had anticipated.

"You've just signed your death warrant, Ginjo," Issei intoned, his voice echoing ominously through the chamber.

Issei's voice dropped to a chilling whisper, his words laced with dark power as he began to chant.

"By the blood of the damned, by the souls of the lost,

I bind thee to this land, where no shadow can cross.

By chains of despair and death's final breath,

I seal your fate in the realm of eternal unrest."

As he spoke, the air grew thick with an oppressive energy. The very ground beneath Ginjo's feet began to shift and darken, transforming into a barren, desolate wasteland. The walls of the chamber faded away, replaced by an endless expanse of twisted, barren land strewn with the remnants of those who had fallen before.

The sky above them was a swirling vortex of darkness, lit only by the occasional flash of lightning that revealed the ghostly forms of countless souls, all of who were the victims of Ginjo's actions.

The chains erupted from the area as they wrapped around Ginjo and trapped him, resulting in Ginjo trying to get free, but the chains grew tighter, their cold metal digging into his flesh as they pulled him down, anchoring him to this accursed plane.

Issei's scythe pulsed with energy, drawing strength from the souls of the damned. The blade glowed with a malevolent light, casting eerie shadows across the desolate landscape.

"Welcome to your final resting place," Issei intoned, his voice echoing ominously through the desolate land. "Here, you will find neither peace nor escape, only endless torment."

Ginjo's struggles grew more frantic as he realized the full extent of Issei's power. He was trapped in this nightmarish landscape, with no hope of escape, and the chains binding him grew tighter with every passing second.

Issei raised his scythe high, the blade glowing brighter with each soul it absorbed as they begged Issei to release their souls and avenge them.

"Your suffering begins now," he declared, bringing the scythe down with a devastating force.

Ginjo screamed in terror as he was dragged into the ground, his body being torn apart by the relentless chains, bit by bit, as the scythe continued to pulse with power, its blade tearing through Ginjo's mind and soul, consuming him piece by piece.

Issei watched with a twisted smile as Ginjo's screams echoed through the desolate land.

"This is the price you pay for your arrogance," Issei said coldly, his eyes glinting with sadistic pleasure. "Soon, you'll beg for death, but even that will be denied to you."

With a final snap of his fingers, the tarot deck appeared before Issei, the cards shuffling in the air as if guided by an unseen hand. One by one, the cards were revealed, each one representing another layer of torment for Ginjo.

As Issei's scythe cut through the air, the tarot cards hovering before him began to glow with an eerie light. Each card, infused with the souls of the tormented, materialized into spectral figures that circled Ginjo, their eyes burning with a vengeance.

Issei held up the first card, The Fool, as a spectral jester appeared, mocking Ginjo with cruel laughter, a twisted reflection of his arrogance. The jester danced around Ginjo, tugging at his soul, unraveling his psyche bit by bit.

The Hanged Man followed as chains emerged from the card, suspending Ginjo in midair, twisting and contorting his body. The souls he had tormented in life began to manifest, their voices a chorus of agony, demanding justice and retribution. Issei watched, his gaze cold as the chains tightened, every movement of the hanged figure a new torment.

The next card, The Tower, exploded into reality with a thunderous crash, as a spectral tower crumbled, symbolizing the destruction of Ginjo's ambitions. The ruins surrounded him, collapsing on him repeatedly, burying him alive in an unending cycle of despair.

The souls around them began to chant, and Issei's voice joined in, resonating with dark power:

"In darkness, you shall fall,

In shadows, your end will call.

Your crimes are now revealed,

By chains of fate, you're sealed."

As Ginjo writhed in pain, The Devil card manifested, bringing forth a demonic figure that reached out with fiery chains, lashing at Ginjo's spirit, branding him with the sins of his past. The souls began to wail louder, demanding more, their cries echoing through the chamber.

Issei moved on to The Moon, and a spectral wolf emerged, howling into the void, its gaze locking onto Ginjo with a hunger that spoke of nightmares. The wolf lunged, sinking ethereal fangs into Ginjo's essence, draining him of hope and sanity.

Issei's voice rang out again, deep and resonant, with the souls harmonizing:

"Your soul shall be undone,

By darkness, by the unholy sun.

Your spirit, now a feast,

For demons and the beast."

As the final card loomed, Judgement, the entire room fell silent, the only sound the rattling of chains and Ginjo's labored breathing.

Issei held the card up, allowing Ginjo to see his impending doom. The card glowed brighter, and from it emerged a towering angel of death, wielding a scythe of its own, its wings blackened and its eyes void of mercy.

The Angel's voice joined Issei's, and together with the chorus of souls, they sang Ginjo's final requiem:

"Judgement day has come at last,

For sins that cannot be surpassed.

In death, you shall atone,

In torment, you shall moan."

As the last note of the requiem faded, the Angel brought down its scythe, and Ginjo's soul was cleaved from his body, torn apart by the chains, shredded into nothingness by the vengeful spirits. The final scream that escaped him was one of pure, unadulterated terror—a fitting end for one who had tried to defy the Overlord.

Issei lowered his scythe, the spectral figures fading back into the tarot cards, which floated back into the deck.

With a final, satisfied smile, he whispered, "May your soul find no peace in the abyss."

The room returned to its dark stillness, and Issei stood victorious, the weight of his judgment still lingering in the air until Issei snapped his fingers as he returned to his base form with his wings and aura leaving his body.

Issei then walked towards the balcony and sighed as he looked at the views of his friends, unable to do anything to save them.

"My deepest condolences, my friends, but I do hope you can find your way out of this," Issei said before picking up the crown and crushing it in his hands, destroying it until he saw a familiar cube with a certain sphere inside of it.

"Ah, the other half of the Hogyoku. How fortunate that Ginjo was stupid enough to leave it in his secret place." Issei said as he grabbed the cube and cut a rip in reality before a Gargantua opened up to see that a palace was within the sands of Hueco Mundo.

"My father wouldn't mind if I dropped in for a visit. Issei said as he walked into the Gargantua before walking towards the place only to see a figure appear in front of him.

"I'm glad to see you well, Issei. Have you stopped the fool?" The figure asked before Issei smiled and produced the Hogyoku that Ginjo had with him.

"Indeed, and I've obtained the other Hogyoku. I will say it was fun entering my Angel form since it's been such a long time since I've used it. Though I do not like the idea of leaving my friends alone to face such horrors alone without my assistance." Issei said that he had faith in Ichigo and Uryu's skills. Still, the others were questionable, mostly Orihime and Tatsuki, since Chad had skills fighting Hollows, but the girls were another story.

Orihime has no fighting spirit or capability, while Tatsuki has fighting skills but needs to gain experience in fighting experienced opponents, even with her Sacred Gear, the Boosted Gear.

"I understand your concern, my son, but you must understand that their struggles will help them grow as an individual since you had to struggle and fight to become as strong as you are now, and now it is time to stop protecting them and let them make their own decisions and suffer the consequences from them. I understand since you have your mother's heart while you have my mind." The figure said something that made Issei sigh, knowing his father had made a valid point.

Issei was happy helping his friends with their powers. Still, the problem was that Issei also wanted to protect them from the consequences of obtaining power in the world they lived in since he had seen both sides of the Supernatural world and the Soul Society. Unfortunately, neither side cared about the other and believed they were the ones in the right.

"You...make a good father," Issei said before the figure known as his father hugged his son until they headed to the palace to begin the next part of their plan.

"Rukia Kuchki still has no idea about the Hogyoku that Kisuke implanted into her Gigai and now herself, yes?"

"Correct, and once we extract it from her, it'll be easier to combine both Kisuke's and yours to make it truly authentic and more interesting to help further your goals," Issei said before his father smiled at this information.

"Excellent, and I'm going to enjoy revealing who I am to my...colleagues, and I assume you'll be there to enjoy the after-effects of the chaos you'll be sowing in the Soul Society?"

"But of course, after all, I have my fun when it comes to humiliating wannabe gods among their kind, which is why it'll be so satisfying when some of my newest members collect their precious Zanpaktos. Hahaha!" Issei laughed at the end before his father chuckled in response until the two entered the said palace and went to a special meeting room where a servant prepared some tea and snacks along with a chessboard in the middle of the table it was on.

"Shall we play another game?" The father asked before Issei smiled at this and nodded.

"Of course. It's always fun playing with one of the greatest minds in the Soul Society."

"Heh. You have your same mother's sense of humor."

"But it's true, isn't it?"

"You're not wrong."

"Now let's play old man Aizen."

"Hah. I may be a thousand years old, but I can still fight you with one hand behind my back." Sosuke Aizen, the biological father of Issei Hyoudou, said before Issei moved a white pawn as Aizen moved another to begin their reunion.

Like father, like son.

Scene!

Yes, I'm sure that some of you already guessed that Sosuke Aizen is Issei's biological father. Still, their relationship is really not some manipulative relationship since Sosuke learned to find love and affection from a person who truly helped him learn about life and gave Aizen what he always wanted: someone who saw him as more than just a tool or a weapon.

Anyway, the next chapters of the War will have each of the Karakura Guardians facing and growing as a person, though I must warn you, one person will die!

Care to guess who?

See you soon!
