Chapter 5
Valley of the Daleks
As I looked at the black entity in front of me, I said, "N-nice Dalek.". "Daleks are not nice!", the Dalek snapped at me. "Can I help you?", I asked. "You are human. Humans are not needed. You will be exterminated! Exterminate! Exterminate! EXTERMINATE!", the Dalek bellowed before firing a blue beam from its gunstick that I narrowly dodged. Suddenly, a highly dishevelled man in a high-tech wheelchair came in. He only had just one hand- his right hand which also looked like a metallic claw. "Dalek Sec, the Supreme Dalek requests your presence.", the man said to the black Dalek. "I apologise, Lord Davros.", Sec said to the man before sliding out of the room. "Wait, did he just call you…Davros?", I asked the man. "He did indeed. I am Davros, creator of the Daleks.", the man said. "Where are we?", I asked. "Kaalaan, the city of the Daleks.", Davros replied. "You mean that city the Eleventh Doctor and Amy explored in The Adventure Games?", I asked. "I do not know what an Eleventh Doctor is, but yes.", Davros replied. After a brief and awkward silence, Davros said, "The Mage Relic must be working overtime now. Since the other 6 Class Relics have been corrupted, the relic is trying to protect you by warping all over the place.", Davros said. "So that's what's been happening!", I said. "Indubitably.", Davros said with a cadence that reminded me of a certain twit gamer.
Suddenly, I was warped to a strange yet familiar European castle. I walked inside, catching the glimpse of a woman with long pink hair and cyan eyes. Her eyes then met with mine, prompting her to excitedly run up to me. "Oh, Jack, I thought you'd never come back after being trapped in Cyber Space!", the woman said. It was at this moment that I noticed that the woman was wearing a dark pink bikini. "Well, Julis, it was only a matter of time anyway until the Dream Cradle collapsed.", I said to the pink-haired woman. Much like with Barry, I also noticed a strange ring with a red cross on her left ring finger. I then asked, "How's King Jolbert?". "Not good. In fact, I think he might be dying.", Julis said. "How sad.", I said. "Well, that's life. Not to mention how he used up a lot of power defending Lieseltania from the Incursions and the many horrors that crossed through as a result.", Julis said. "No shit. Given how the beings that crossed over were things that actually shouldn't have been possible to even exist, I'm personally surprised that the damage YHVH caused wasn't even worse. Monstrosities like Guardian-enhanced Daleks, cyber-converted dragons, even mass produced forms of the Titans- those beings absolutely should have not been able to even exist.", I said. Looking out the window, Julis then said, "It's getting late. Wanna stay the night?". "Might as well.", I said.
Whilst I was leaving the castle the next morning, I then had a thought that the Waxing Moon Vessel was starting to affect reality as well. Though it was obviously less dangerous than what YHVH had subjected the Multiverse too with its countless Incursions, there was also the possibility that the Waxing Moon Ritual was causing the Incursions to keep perpetuating and causing time itself to collapse. I thought back to what I learned from Julis whilst we were eating dinner last night- that multiple time periods were recording the presence of a man known only as the Sage and that he bore a strong resemblance to me. That, or maybe my echoes hadn't yet all disappeared. I then thought back to when I was in the Chronos Terminal, knowing that my echoes indeed caused a quantum entanglement to form and I used that entanglement to force an Incursion to destroy the world that YHVH had intended to create- a world without freewill or even life. Leaving the castle grounds, I then saw another purplish-pink portal much like what I saw in Central City, walking through it to find myself on the bridge of an advanced starship. I then left the bridge, finding myself facing a giant assortment of various cryosleep tubes, having the strange sensation that I knew the people inside from somewhere. I then walked further down the chamber, coming to a strange chamber filled with deactivated Daleks. "It's alright. They won't try to exterminate you.", said a voice behind me. I turned around to see a woman with long blonde hair, green eyes and pointed ears wearing a blue tunic. "Zelda, what do you mean?", I asked the blonde-haired woman. "They may be Daleks from the planet Skaro but they were heavily injured in the Final Day of the War of the Worlds, which happened from their perspective when they were caught up in a time eddy, causing them to nearly be eaten by the Nightmare Child. Of course, the Sovereign Empire managed to rescue them, but not without a significant cost- when they were rescued, the Daleks had been very heavily injured. We could only place them in this chamber to keep them safe.", Zelda said.
I then found myself facing the Happy Hotel again. "Wait, where am I now?", I asked. Suddenly, the doors of the hotel automatically opened as if the hotel was beckoning me in. I then felt my phone buzzing again. Looking at the screen, I saw a message from Alastor saying, "Come in. Don't be scared. We've all been waiting for you.". Another message from Barry then appeared, saying, "He's right. Please, just come in. Do it for me.". This was followed by a third message from Clive saying, "We need to find the world where you came from so we can destroy it. If you come in, we'll be able to finally do so, freeing you from your torment.". Absolutely terrified by what the messages were implying, I then ran off in the opposite direction, only for strange black and dark red tentacles to shoot out of the entrance. As they tried to wrap themselves around me, I then found myself empowered by a strange burst of red electricity causing me to zoom off even faster. But it was to no avail- every road I took led back to the hotel. Then, a larger tentacle grabbed me by my hood and violently yanked me into the hotel, prompting the doors to close.
Groggily waking up, I then found myself in a strange bedroom with myself in a four poster bed with a gold satin quilt and white silk pillows. "Wait, two pillows. Does that mean-?", I asked before Vox's face appeared on the television, saying, "That's correct! You have been chosen for the greatest and most highest purpose known to man- ruling all of Aionios and crushing those who oppose you underneath your heel. It's what you deserve after what YHVH put you through, Mythos.". "I thought Clive was the Mythos, not me.", I said. "That's what we wanted YHVH to believe. Though Lord Rosfield certainly possesses the ability to use the four elements like a baller, his main elemental affinity is fire through Ifrit; he was only able to use the elements of earth, air and water through absorbing Titan, Garuda and Shiva's powers. Oh, but Shiva is the Warden of Ice, is she not? No matter; the Motes of Ice also possessed the ability to manipulate water too. If anyone is the true Mythos, it is you, Jack. Sorry, I meant to say Toby.", Vox said before I tried to turn the TV off. "I wouldn't do that if I were you.", Vox said, his face not disappearing. Suddenly, Alastor's voice blasted on through the radio. "Indeed, it is your destiny to rule over all.", Alastor's voice said. I then found myself in the shrine where I saw the Waxing Moon Vessel, only to see that it was surrounded by a dark red hemisphere. Walking out of the shrine, I found myself at Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa. "Wait, what the Hell is happening?", I asked. "I'll tell you what's happening, bub. Another Incursion is just about to happen and the Waxing Moon Vessel is about to unleash another dark surge of energy.", said a man in a yellow jumpsuit with a black and yellow cowl (with the black parts looking vaguely like horns) and blue gloves with openings at the knuckles. Turning to face the man, I asked, "Sorry, who are you?". "It's no surprise you wouldn't recognise me, bub. I'm Logan Howlett or the Wolverine if you prefer. I'm the best there is at what I do.", the man said. Looking at the sky, I noticed that the sky even looked somewhat reddish.
Unnerved at the crimson sky, I then watched as Noah, Mio, Eunie, Taion, Lanz and Sena walked up, all covered in nauseously radiant auras. "Friends of yours?", Logan asked. "Not exactly.", I said. "Oh, you wound us.", Lanz said. "Strong words coming from a Consul.", I said. "You know, it really isn't too late. Come with us and we will purify you. You've suffered for too long; we can end your suffering by exposing you to the Silent Core.", Noah said. "I'm sorry but I thought the Silent Core was highly corrupting compared to the Infinity Core.", I said. "It doesn't have to be this way. The Silent Core will free you, just like how it freed us. Come with us and be reborn.", Sena said. "I don't think so, bub. You see, the Silent Core is fuelled by the Bakugan known as Naga whilst the Infinity Core is fuelled by his sister Wavern; once one is exposed to the Infinity Core they cannot be corrupted by its opposite. Jack has a point, you know.", Logan said. "No matter. We'll just have to return him to his original state before he was corrupted by the Infinity Core and then expose him to the Silent Core that way.", Noah said, summoning the Sword of the End. "Try me.", I said, summoning the Dein Nomos to my right hand. Suddenly, a golden bolt of lightning crashed down to my other side (Logan was at my left side, you see), revealing a man with spiky blonde hair and red eyes wearing shining golden armour. "Honestly, to see mongrels like you quarrelling whilst an Incursion is about to start is truly uncouth.", the blonde-haired man said. "Nice to see you join us, Gilgamesh.", I said to the blonde-haired man. "Who accompanies you is of no concern to us. You will come back to us and reclaim your divine birthright.", Taion said. "Try me.", I said, rushing at them.
Not wanting to give up my crucial advantage, I slashed forward unleashing a crimson burst of fire. Lanz just managed to jump in and block the slash only for me to unleash a blast of darkness from my left arm. I followed this up with several slashes from the Dein Nomos, unleashing a violent flurry of dark red slashes that Mio just managed to acrobatically dodge to grant Noah an opening to attack, only for me to effortlessly block the attack with a burst of orange energy that I followed up with a lance of dark fire that I fired from Dein Nomos. I then summoned the Monado III to my left hand and gripped it tight, unleashing a violently fast flurry of slashes. "Faster! Gotta go faster!", I thought as I slashed with both swords, my speed increasing as I did so. "Need to clear my mind of all thoughts except the battle.", I thought, my speed then increasing to a truly ridiculous level; I then closed my eyes in order to enter a state of zen, opening them as they proceeded to glow an icy blue. "Just how fast can you go?", Noah asked as he did his best to block my assault. "Good question. Let's find out.", I replied as a blue aura surrounded me, causing me to now move like I was blinking in and out of reality due to my speed. Noah then attacked himself, aided by Lanz and Sena's own attacks. But it was no use; I easily outsped all 3 of them. Logan and Gilgamesh themselves joined in with their attacks, Gilgamesh unleashing a gilded onslaught of swords from afar whilst Logan slashed to and fro with his claws. Noah then hesitated, which gave me my opening; not missing a beat, I then slashed with the Dein Nomos, driving the 6 Consuls back. "OK, we admit it; you're strong. And now you've proven it, come meet us when you're ready to rule us.", Eunie said before they teleported away. Dismissing my swords, my eyes returned to normal as the blue aura surrounding me dissipated. I then noticed that Gilgamesh and Logan had mysteriously vanished, only for an earthquake to hit.
The story continues in the next chapter.
