Link
Long story short, we scared off the Lynel, only for it to get reinforcements, then Zelda somehow got Vah Ruta's map on her slate, and then Mipha decimated hundreds of monsters single-handedly.
Also she's the newest Champion.
The guardian did absolutely nothing during all of this.
We stood on the edge of Shatterback point. Sky said that he felt some sort of energy here. He thinks that his brothers were here.
That seemed very unlikely but we came anyway. I had spaced out for about an hour when Zelda shouted something and pointed to something in the air a few feet above the ground.
I mentally shook myself out of my reverie and focused on what the others were saying.
"I saw that when you came through." Zelda told Sky. "At first I thought it was just heat from the volcano, but if you look closer, doesn't it seem mysterious and unreal?"
Sky nodded absentmindedly at her. His full attention was on the shimmering patch of air as if it was his lifeline.
Suddenly two people fell out of the air, like Sky did. The portal dissipated as soon as they left.
Sky's face lit up as he studied the mound of blue and green.
There was a childish groan before a head popped up. He had short blonde hair and blue eyes. He wore a blue tunic embroidered with a lobster. It looks a bit like PJs to me. He wore normal trousers and boots. But all of his clothes bore grass stains and tears.
A sword with a weird hilt was strapped to his back along with a rectangular shield (but one side was curved).
"Geroff." The man he was sitting on growled, his voice muffled by the grass in which it was pressed.
The boy—who looked thirteen—got off the man and helped him to his feet.
The other guy had the same blonde hair and blue eyes. It was actually easy to tell that the two newcomers and Sky were related.
The man had on a green tunic over chainmail. He also wore normal trousers and boots—again stained from grass and torn in several places—but around his neck a fancy blue scarf fell to his ankles.
A silver sword with a fancy hilt and handle was on his back. But like his brother Sky, he was not armed with a shield. Also the man had a charismatic smile on his face. As if he did not just fall from the sky onto his face.
However the two newcomers looked around them with a sense of familiarity but confusion. Like they knew where they were but something about it was off. Either that or they were confused as to how they got here. I don't know. Nor do I really care.
The Egg Guardian whistled to break the silence. Zelda giggled and picked him up into her arms.
Sky went up to the two newcomers and hugged them. The little boy gave in immediately but the other guy had unease written all over his face as if he wasn't sure if Sky was actually Sky.
He reminded me of a well trained knight. My mother would like him. (With the threat of Calamity Ganon on the horizon, she came out of retirement to help in the fight/preparations.)
"—nd this is Link." I heard Sky say.
I looked down to hide the embarrassment glowing in my cheeks for missing Sky's introductions. Thankfully he was just introducing us, not his friends.
"Guys, These are my brothers Warriors and Wind." Sky pointed to them in turn.
Sky made eye contact with his brothers and a silent understanding passed between them.
Warriors and Wind. I mused to myself. Those are some odd names. I wondered if they were nicknames, and if so, then what were their real names?
"Just five to go." Sky said.
That left Impa spinning. "Wait… five?! You have seven brothers?!" She exclaimed.
Sky nodded simply.
"It's nice to meet you." Mipha said softly.
Warriors and Wind studied her with wide understanding eyes.
They then turned their gaze on the rest of us. They seemed to recognize me and Princess Zelda.
They looked to Sky for confirmation. He nodded then whispered something to them.
"Oh… shit." Wind said softly before being openly scolded by his brothers.
I looked at the interaction with a mix of amusement and confusion.
How in the name of Hylia do all three of them seem to know Zelda and I?
