Izuku was filled with anxiety as he walked to the gate from the Battle Area. His official quirk registration stated "Super Strength," and letting out fire definitely wasn't part of it. He nervously pondered a plausible excuse. "Maybe if I say I punched so hard the air lit on fire?" he mused, dismissing the idea as ridiculous. The last thing he wanted was an angry Power knocking on their door and blowing him up into a million pieces.

Lost in these thoughts, Izuku eventually arrived at the school gate where Itsuka and Komori-san were waiting for him. He waved to them, and they waved back.

"Izuku~!" Kinoko shouted as she ran up and jumped to hug him. Izuku caught her to prevent her from getting hurt, enjoying the feel of her soft, light body against his.

"Ah! Be careful, Komori-san. Though I guess if you're this lively, the practical exam went smoothly on your end?" he asked.

"Mmh," she nodded. "By my count, I should have 26 points, shroom. Itsuka said it's more than enough to pass, shroom."

Izuku found the score a bit low, but considering how challenging it was to even find the robots, he wasn't surprised. He decided not to rain on her parade.

"That's great to hear, Komori-san. Told you you'd do perfectly, didn't I?" he said, patting her head.

"We should celebrate this!" Itsuka suggested with a big smile. "Maybe Midoriya will buy us something as a reward?"

"Eh?! T-There's no need for that, shroom! Though I'd be happy to spend s-some time t-t-together, shroom," Kinoko stammered, almost whispering the last part.

"Yeah, sure. Maybe we can go to this ice cream shop in Shin-Shizuoka. I heard they serve some interesting flavors," Izuku said, curious about wasabi ice cream.

"I'm in!" Itsuka said.

"I'd like to go too, shroom," Kinoko agreed.

"Let's go!"

They traveled to an ice cream place called La Palette, with Itsuka and Komori-san leading the way. They enjoyed various desserts, mostly ice cream.

Once it became dark, they walked Komori-san to her home. As Izuku was saying goodbye, he felt a tug on his shirt. He turned to see Komori-san holding it, her face a very pronounced blush.

"A-About the reward, shroom," she started.

"Oh, yeah! Do you want me to buy you something? So long as it's not too expensive, I'll be more than happ—" Izuku began but was interrupted.

"I-I-I don't need you to buy me anything, shroom. I want to ask you to do something instead, shroom," she said, making him curious.

"Sure, what is it?" he asked without hesitation.

"I want you..." she took a deep breath, gathering her courage, "...to call me by my first name," she said.

Izuku wasn't surprised. They had known each other for six years, and she started calling him Izuku the day they met. He had been asked a few times why he kept calling her by her last name, but every attempt to use her first name resulted in her fainting, so he refrained from doing so.

"Sure! Kinoko," he said, which made her smile widely. "Are you sure you don't want anything else? Honestly, I'd have called you that had you asked sooner."

"No. I want to earn the right, shroom. I've known you and Itsuka address each other by your first names but never said anything," she turned to Itsuka, "I won't lose!" She then gave Izuku a light peck on the lips before entering her home.

Izuku stood there, stunned. The girl who could barely ask him to call her by her first name not only declared war on Itsuka but also kissed him. That escalated quickly.

"She must've felt like she's seriously losing her chance," Itsuka said.

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

"You're not that dense, Izuku. You know what I'm talking about. You had relationships before, but never have I seen you completely ignore both of us like that. Heck, it's like you completely ignored the world itself."

"Maybe. Both of you are special to me and I'd move mountains for either of you, but I'm drawn to her like no other. It's seriously hard to explain."

"Hmmmm," Itsuka hummed. "At least don't go ignoring Kinoko like that. The poor girl looked like you killed her puppy in front of her."

"Yeah. I'll try."

They started walking toward Izuku's place. Apparently, Itsuka wasn't convinced he could get home without getting lost in Hokkaido. 'That was only one time,' he protested in his mind. As they neared his house, he brought up the subject he had been dreading.

"Hey, about the entrance exam," he started.

"What about it?" Itsuka asked.

"I may have goofed. I accidentally used fire," he replied. She looked at him with a 'Are you serious?!' face, and he tried to avoid eye contact.

"Did the other examinees see you?" she asked.

"I guess you could say that the rest in the Battle Arena saw it, yeah," he tried to laugh it off.

"Sigh Figured it'd happen sooner or later. You should just update your quirk registry to 'Energy Manipulation' or something like that. It'll cover your initial 'Super Strength' while still convincingly explaining what you did," she said.

He looked at her like she grew a second head. Thankfully she can't read minds or she'd start lecturing him she's no Orthrus. He then proceeded to kiss her and carry her in bridal style as they ran toward his room. He was going to reward this little wolf all night long.

Time skip to Friday

As Izuku approached the restaurant where he agreed to meet Ochaco, the crisp evening air carried the tantalizing aromas of sizzling meats and fragrant spices. He patted his pocket, feeling the reassuring crinkle of the letter he'd found yesterday with their meeting place - Chojiya, a traditional Japanese restaurant steeped in history and cultural charm.

Upon entering, his gaze was immediately drawn to Ochaco awaiting him at their table. She wore a stunning black dress that hugged her curves alluringly, and a delicate floral tiara adorned her chestnut tresses, lending an ethereal beauty to her ensemble. Izuku couldn't help but pause, drinking in the vision before him as his heart stuttered. Ochaco's radiant smile brightened the room, and the air seemed to crystallize with the promise of an enchanting evening ahead.

"Greetings, my dear Knight," she said, her smile outshining the sun itself.

"You are more breathtaking than the stars on the darkest night. Thank you for joining me," Izuku replied, his words barely escaping the tightness in his chest.

"You're very kind. Thank you. Shall we be seated?" She gestured to their table with a coquettish tilt of her head.

"Awesome! I've never dined here before," Izuku remarked, taking in the traditional decor and low hum of conversation surrounding them.

"Then I'm glad we'll get to experience it together for the first time," Ochaco said warmly.

They placed their orders, both selecting fragrant green tea to accompany their meals. As they awaited the food, Izuku suggested, "While we wait, why don't we get to know each other better?"

"What did you have in mind, Sir Knight?" Ochaco's eyes sparkled with amusement.

"Something simple - we take turns asking questions and share as much as we're comfortable with. I'll start: what's something I'd never guess about you?"

Ochaco's brow furrowed in contemplation before she began, "Well, you could say my upbringing was...humble. I was raised to live quite simply as a child by someone else. Even then, I dreamed of becoming a hero who could save civilians and other heroes alike. I remember watching how people's cheers and support uplifted heroes after tough days, giving them strength. Thanks to my current position, I can aspire to be that source of inspiration, at least in part." Her smile blossomed with pride and contentment.

Izuku's eyes widened in amazement. "Wow...I've never considered the fans' role from that perspective before. That's incredibly insightful of you."

A faint blush tinged Ochaco's cheeks. "You're very kind. This world is still new to me in many ways since discovering my heritage. Tell me, as someone straddling the roles of hero-in-training and Evoker, how do you find balancing those vastly different realms?"

Izuku pondered her query for a moment. "I suppose they've just blended together for me over time. Of course, as an Evoker I don't have the limitations of quirk laws, and the creatures from Elesewhere are often far more dangerous. But I also find wonder in them. Then again, how could I overlook the gorgeous, sword-wielding woman I encountered months ago?" He flashed her a roguish grin.

"Oh? Are there more like me around? Should I be jealous?" Ochaco's teasing lilt sent his heart fluttering.

"Never. There's...something indescribable about you. As if our souls are bound across time and space itself." The words tumbled out before he could rein them in.

"Most would wait until at least a second date to profess their undying love, Sir Knight," she remarked archly, though mirth danced in her warm brown eyes.

"Yeah, I know it sounds crazy. But..." Izuku rubbed the back of his neck self-consciously. "When you stepped through that portal, it was like regaining a part of myself I never knew was missing. Deep down, I can't shake the feeling you sensed it too, though I can't explain how I know that."

Unsure of how to take this information, "O...Our food has arrived. Let's enjoy it while it's hot," Ochaco demurred, though her gaze remained tender.

"Of course! To good food and wonderful company," Izuku agreed with a grin.

As their laughter and murmured conversation mingled with the other patrons' voices, filling the air with a lively ambiance, Izuku and Ochaco lingered over the last bites of their meal. The empty plates before them were a testament to their shared delight, a delightful interlude ripe with the promise of many more to come.

"That was lovely. Thank you, Izuku," Ochaco said, placing her utensils down with a contented sigh.

Izuku's eyes crinkled with his broad smile. "It was amazing. Dining in such a historic place really adds something special, doesn't it? And the company only enhanced the flavors." He reached across the table to give her hand an affectionate squeeze. "Thank you for joining me."

A faint blush tinged Ochaco's cheeks. "This was my first date. I should savor the experience." Her eyes widened suddenly. "Oh! Thank you again for a wonderful evening, Izuku."

Izuku's jaw went slightly slack with surprise. "Wait...you've seriously never been on a date before? Like, ever?"

"No, I was betrothed once but that hardly counts as dating," she demurred with a dismissive wave of her delicate hand.

"Betrothed, huh? So where is this mysterious former fiancé now?" Izuku's brow furrowed with curiosity.

Ochaco's expression hardened, her soft features sharpening into severity. "Dead," she stated flatly.

"Oh gods...I'm so sorry, Ochaco. That's awful." Izuku reached for her hand again in silent comfort.

She shook her head minutely. "Don't be. It was merely a political arrangement, unlikely to ever become more, even if we'd wed."

Izuku cocked his head quizzically. "Why's that?"

Ochaco's eyes glinted with a mixture of disdain and melancholy. "Because I could never love someone as shallow and self-absorbed as him. And I doubt he was capable of loving anyone besides himself. Or did you mean to ask about the politics behind the arranged marriage itself?"

"Yeah, that one," Izuku confirmed with a nod.

Ochaco exhaled a weary sigh that seemed to emanate from somewhere deep within her soul. "Royals do not marry for love, we marry for the Court. My father hoped tying me to him would bind a powerful clan closer to the throne." Her lips twisted in a rueful moue. "I expect he still dreams of such ambitions."

"So what happened with the other guy?" Izuku pressed gently.

An acerbic note crept into Ochaco's tone. "He was discovered abed with another man's wife."

Izuku winced overtly. "Yikes, that sucks."

"I can forgive infidelity when there's no true bond between us. But I cannot abide foolishness in my future consort." She shook her head slowly, tendrils of chestnut hair swaying with the motion. "Trying to cuckold a Councilmember Battlemage was hardly a sign of great intelligence."

"Yeah, I'd say that's a pretty dumb move," Izuku agreed wryly.

Ochaco's smoky voice took on a grim undertone. "The next day at noon, they met on the tourney field. Afterward, the grounds crew spent the remainder whittling my ex-betrothed's...pieces from a wide radius."

Izuku paled slightly at the visceral image. "Ouch..."

"Which is what led me here," Ochaco continued in a somber murmur. "Shipped off to study in this realm, out of sight and mind until the blood dries and my Father can pretend to forget before pawning me off on some other nobleman to shore up his throne."

A contemplative frown furrowed Izuku's brow. "Surely there are some worthy nobles you could marry though? Men of good character?"

Ochaco favored him with a sad, enigmatic smile that seemed to hold ancient melancholy. "Ours is a society in decline, Izuku. We may live long lives, but that merely obscures the truth - we are not what we once were. Half the seats at the Council's Round Table gather dust, vacant, with none willing or able to fill them."

Hope flickered in Izuku's vivid emerald eyes. "Well, what about someone from this side then? Maybe...me?"

A low, melodious chuckle escaped Ochaco's lips. "Oh Izuku, that would be nice. But unless you're an incognito king from some faraway realm, I fear it cannot be. Who I wed is not my choice to make - in this, I must serve the needs of the realm first."

Izuku flashed her a roguish grin. "Hey, you never know. I could be some long-lost prince or something, right?"

"The hidden Prince of Musutafu?" Ochaco arched one delicately shaped brow in playful skepticism. "I somehow doubt that."

"Okay, maybe not," Izuku relented with a rueful chuckle. Then his eyes danced with impish mirth. "So if you've really never dated before, does that mean you've never even...kissed anyone?"

Ochaco felt heat blossoming in her cheeks at his boldness. "Well, my former betrothed did once peck me on the cheek, if that counts?"

"Nope, definitely doesn't count." Izuku declared. "Would you...maybe want to try it for real? Kissing is kind of a quintessential date experience."

"My, are you not brazen? But I fear the rules of the Court are different from this world. I must remain a virgin until my marriage bed, and so seal the alliance in blood."

Her blush deepened, though sly amusement sparkled in her warm brown eyes. "My, are we not a brazen one? I fear the rules of the Court differ from this world's. I must remain...untouched until my marriage bed, to seal the alliance properly."

"I'm just talking about a kiss here, Ochaco," Izuku countered, arching one brow meaningfully. "Not exactly a night of crazed sex."

A teasing lilt entered Ochaco's tone. "Perhaps. But not on a first date, Sir Knight."

A rakish grin played about Izuku's lips as realization dawned. "Well, in that case, there's only one solution..."

Ochaco leaned forward with blatant intrigue. "Oh? Do tell..."

"We'll simply have to go on a second date." He stated it as an indisputable fact.

A smile blossomed across Ochaco's face, warm and genuine. "Perhaps we must. I have quite enjoyed this evening's company."

"And next time...I'll get that kiss?" Izuku's eyes smoldered with yearning hope.

Ochaco rose fluidly from her seat with an aura of regal grace. "We shall see. For now, let us settle the bill and take our leave."

As Izuku fished out the yen notes to cover their meals, Ochaco remarked lightly, "You're aware my family is far from impoverished these days?"

Izuku met her gaze steadily as he laid out the bills. "Sure, but in my world, whoever invited the other has to pay the date, regardless of financial status. Fair's fair."

A beautiful smile curved Ochaco's lips. "Well then, I suppose I shall have to invite you out next time to even the scales."

A surge of elation rushed through Izuku's veins. "I'd like that a lot."

"Let us be on our way then," Ochaco said, already heading for the entrance.

"Allow me to walk you home at least?" Izuku fell into step beside her.

She waved off his chivalry with a teasing lilt. "That won't be necessary, but I appreciate the offer. I am quite capable of seeing to my own safety."

"Even in that dress?" Izuku couldn't resist allowing his admiring gaze to trail over her lithe form again, taking in the clinging fabric that sculpted her feminine curves so alluringly.

Ochaco rewarded him with a saucy twirl that set the skirt flaring enticingly. "I've been trained as a knight since I could walk, Izuku. Despite the dress."

Izuku felt his mouth go dry as arousal surged within him. "Well, it's definitely serving its purpose then. You look absolutely stunning."

Ochaco's smile softened with sincere warmth. "Thank you for this evening, Izuku. I cannot recall the last time I allowed myself such indulgent enjoyment."

"Hey, my pleasure, anytime." Izuku reached out to trail his fingertips along her arm in a light, lingering caress. "I'll see you again soon, Ochaco."

As she turned and strode away with that same regal elegance, Izuku couldn't tear his longing gaze from her retreating form. 'I may need to take a cold shower tonight.'

🎆🎇🎉We have the first date of Izuocha. 🎉🎇🎆They're not as much of a cinnamon roll in this as they're now a mix of both verse's characters. Ochaco had her canon background up until she was 4 or 5, when she discovered she was a real princess. She's a mix of both being jaded by the Court and Crown, but idealistic enough to act on her original dream to help civilians and heroes alike because it's the right thing to do.

As for the date location, it's an actual restaurant that's been open since the late 16th century. Yes, it's a restaurant that's been open since the Sengoku-jidai. I'm thinking of the next date location to be in a planetarium. Just couldn't fit it in here because it's a dinner date.

Izuku's declaring undying love to Ochaco and he knows not where he's basing it on aside from gut feeling. Kinoko declared war for Izuku's heart. Local werewolf heard howling from evening 'til noon.

Next time, we'll actually start UA. I also updated the Harem list and a little about the bio. It's not that big, but I added Nana, Nejire, and Jiro since we'll be meeting at least two of them very soon as well as removed the 'casual' part of the descriptor for the side harem since except for Nemuri, none of them are going to be 'casual' about it. They'll still move the plot less than the main ones though.

Thanks again for reading this. Let me know if you have any feedback or questions you want me to address. Also, the Yui poll is still open until way later (at least 60+ chapters, yeah this story's going to be a long one) so feel free to let me know of your input.
