Belle was crying in her room, tears flew from her eyes.
"It's alright Belle." said Belle's father, hugging his daughter. "Your mother was a brave woman."
"I miss her so much." replied Belle.
"Me too."
"Really? You're acting as if none of this has even happened."
"Belle! I understand that you're upset but there's no reason to be rude!"
Belle pushed her father away and went back to crying.
"You didn't just lose a mother during the ogre attack," said Belle's father. "I lost a wife."
"I'm sorry, Father. I just- I don't know what to do! I can't even remember and I want to find out."
"Are you sure, Belle?"
"I want to know how she died, I will look at every book we have possession of and I will find a way."
"If that's what you want."
Her father left but Belle stayed awake in her chamber, she lit many candles and grabbed every book she could get her hands on and started reading to find her answer. After a few hours, her father came back.
"It's late." he said. "You should be in bed."
"How can I possibly sleep when I can't even remember what happened to Mother?" replied Belle.
"Perhaps that's for the best."
"No! I need to know what happened to her after I blacked out."
"You won't find the answers you seek in the pages of a book."
"But I already have, Father. According to this, there are creatures who can restore memories that have been lost. If we journey to them, maybe they can help me remember what happened to Mother."
"I can't allow you to do that."
"Why not?"
"Because there's something in this book doesn't tell you; magic always comes with a price. And whatever that price is, I don't want you to have to pay it. I'm sorry, Belle, I've already lost your mother to this infernal Ogres' War, I can't lose you, too."
"But, Father, I don't know..."
"You heard me!" he yelled as he closed the book. "Forget this nonsense. You are not to leave this chamber until the doctors say you're better."
He slammed the door shut and left.
"I'm sorry, Father, but I need to know what happened and this is the only place where I'll find the answer: Arendelle."
Belle kept on a cloth sweater and packed her things in a satchel and climbed out through the window. She safely climbed down the walls of the castle and pulled her map out and began to walk in the direction of Arendelle. As she walked a bit further, she heard a loud roar from a distance. Belle knew it was an ogre and started picking up her pace but she turned around and saw it with a club and was so close to her. Belle ran as far as she could until she suddenly heard the ogre groan in pain. Belle turned around to see an arrow in it and it fell to the floor.
"Are you okay?" said a new voice.
Belle turned around to see a centaur with a bow in his hand.
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." she replied.
"You must be going somewhere important to not notice an ogre behind you."
"Yeah, I am. I recently lost my mother and I'm trying to find a place called Arendelle. I know I can't bring her back but, I want to know what happened to her."
"I'm so sorry."
"Thanks, also is the ogre going to be okay?"
"He was trying to kill you yet you still wish for it to be safe?"
"Of course."
"Don't worry, he'll be up in no time. You have a heart, young girl, you are a great hero."
"Oh, me?" laughed Belle. "I'm no hero, just a bookworm."
"I can tell you are very intelligent and I know you have heart, that's all a hero needs. No flashy swords or weapons, just a heart."
"Thank you. Are you heading off somewhere?"
"Yes, I'm heading back to a different realm. A place called Camp Half-Blood. It's where I train demigods from around the realms and I came here to visit some old friends."
"Well, I wish you good luck."
"You too, I never really caught your name."
"Oh, I'm Belle and you are..."
"Chiron."
