Back again with another Wise ship, this time with Caesar King!

Hoyoverse did something with that MV EP!

Enjoy!

New Eridu

Everything started out "innocently" enough. Wise had walked in on Caesar having a conversation with the cover photography of the most popular fashion magazine in New Eridu, Jealous. How did Wise know about this magazine? Belle? No. He's a sneakerhead. The magazine's not just for women.

When Caesar told him what was going on, and how she was turning down the opportunity to be the cover model for the next issue, Wise was understandably disappointed.

"Well now, what do we have here?" The experienced old woman who was the photographer of Jealous magazine had started to leave, but hanged back when she overheard Wise and Caesar talking. Feeling there still might be a chance to win Miss King over, the old lady hids around the corner, out of sight, inching closer to see if she can pick up on some useful information.

In his innocence, Wise only suggested that Caesar do the photo shoot so that she doesn't let anyone else's opinion of her get in the way of something she might enjoy. Plus... he might be able to finally track down that exclusive pair of Wind Mike's that the player had worn during a memorable season, that no one seems to have. But that is neither here nor there. Caesar is opposed, as this kind of photo shoot would sink the strong image she's trying to build up about herself. Plus, she'll never hear the end of it from Burnice and Lucy. Which is the most important reason to avoid it.

"May I offer a suggestion?" The old lady from before steps out from her hiding place.

"No offense ma'am," Caesar replied, "But go away."

"So harsh! Young people these days..."

"Where have I heard that before?" Caesar muttered this outloud to no one in particular.

Wise shrugged, "Sorry, no budging with this one." Caesar crossed her arms over her chest, emphasizing his statement.

However, the old woman's not giving up yet. "But think of all the young girls out there, you could be a good role model to them! Especially the ones who've grown up without a mother figure!" This lady's not beating the "Piper's friend" allegations anytime soon. Still, her words are starting to reach Caesar, who looks at her, intrigued. Continuing, "That's right! Plus, more people might get more interested in the Sons of Calydon!"

"I-" Caesar starts to say, but she cuts herself off. She's left there, hand under her chin as she's lost in thought. Caesar then glances at Wise, who can only sweat a little, not sure who's side to take. Blushing slightly, Caesar looks away from him. Just when it looks like Caesar might give in, she shakes her head, much to the other two's disappointment. "I'm sorry, I just couldn't ever see myself doing something like this..." But she looks very torn.

"Arrgh!" Frustrated, the old lady then turns to Wise, pulling him aside for a quick huddle. "Don't you want your girlfriend to be a model?" Wise's mouth fell open, stunned. She rolled her eyes, "Oh please, the blind could see that you're both sweet on each other."

"W-well..." Wise fumbled over his words, then looked over to Caesar, who's too deep in thought to notice the two of them whispering quietly about her.

"Don't you have anything you can do to convince her? You must know something!"

"There is one thing that could work," Wise started, "But it comes a suspicious source." He refuses to talk like Belle.

"Do it, we're losing her!"

Wise sweatdropped, "'We' are?" Ignoring him, the old lady pushed Wise toward Caesar. The leader of the Sons of Calydon suddenly looked up at him, since he was now standing right in front of her.

"Proxy?"

"Here goes nothing..." Wise gulped, as he went into action.

The stars were aligned, and everything was in perfect place for this set up. Caesar's back was near a wall, putting her in the perfect spot for Wise to put into play the secret Lucy had taught him. Did he know that Lucy taught him this because this was her weakness as well?

Putting his arm up above her, Wise leaned into Caesar, trapping her between him and the wall behind her. "I don't get what this is all about, but Lucy promised that doing this will win Caesar over no matter what's going on. Feels like cheating, though..." He could say that, especially seeing the reaction Caesar had. Her eyes had gone wide, and a wild blush raced across her face. The only thing that could be heard from her was incoherent babbling.

"Oh, wow!" The old lady was still there, watching all of this unfold. She then nodded, knowing it was a good call getting the boyfriend involved.

Wise then noticed that Caesar's chin was trembling. "Uh oh, I better do something to help her!" Springing into action, Wise innocently took Caesar's chin in between his thumb and index finger and smiling softly, he asked her, "Are you sure you don't want to think about this opportunity?"

Words cannot describe the thoughts going through Caesar's mind right now. Thoroughly defeated, she could only drawl, "Heh heh, whatever you say Wise..."

*WIPEOUT!*

As Caesar sank to the floor and tried to regain whatever scraps of self-respect she still had, Wise pumped his fist into the air in victory.

*Clap* *Clap*

Their attention was directed to the old woman, who never left. The woman nodded, "Well done." Wise reassured Caesar that she'll be alright with this woman. But when he turned to leave, the old woman asked, "And where do you think you're going?"

"Um... somewhere?"

The photographer insisted, "Oh no, you're coming with us too!"

"Wait, why?"

Gesturing to Caesar, the woman replied, "You don't expect her to go through this alone, do you? That's not very supportive..."

"Uh..."

"Great, let's go!" She then dragged Wise and Caesar behind her.

Belle, Burnice, and Lucy are going to have a field day with this news.

Ah well.

I'll probably keep this story going; Caesar being a love-sick tomboy makes for some great content!

Until next time!
