Mackenzie's House:

It was 12:00 midnight and Mackenzie was laying his back on his bed trying to sleep. He groans in pain as his stomach rumbles loudly with both his hands gripping the bed sheets as he was sweating. He then opens his eyes and notices that his body had gone paralyzed. "What happened? Why can't I move?" Mackenzie said in his thoughts. "Mum! Dad! Help me!" Mackenzie yelled but was unable to speak as he was trapped inside his own body. "Why is this happening to me? I can't feel my body." Then Mackenzie hears a creek coming from the closet and the creepy mop pup comes out. Mackenzie watches in horror as the pup crawls on the foot of his bed and crawls on top of his chest. She gapes open her mouth revealing her sharp teeth and lunges at him. Mackenzie screams as he gets up and notices that he can move again. He then fall back on his bed in relief.

Glasshouse primary school:

All the students were inside the school playing while Calypso was making a red bracelet. Mackenzie was laying on the floor with his head slouched against the wall rubbing his bloated belly and feeling very tired. Rusty and Jack walk up to the border collie noticing he was sitting by himself. "Hey Mackenzie, Do you wanna come and play toy soldiers with us?" Rusty said wondering if Mackenzie would like to participate. "No Thanks, I didn't sleep well last night." Mackenzie said as he rubbed his eyes not being able to sleep the previous night. Rusty and Jack both stare at Mackenzie's bloated belly as it has gotten noticeably bigger then last time. "Whoa Mackenzie, You look like your about to give birth at any second now." Mackenzie opens his eyes shocked after hearing what Rusty just said. "Yeah Mackenzie, Are you pregnant?" Jack said response to Rusty's statement. Mackenzie then gets up on his feet to confront Rusty and Jack. "Shut up! I'm not pregnant! I-I've just been gaining a bit of weight that's all. Mackenzie yelled as he was very insecure about how big his belly had gotten and was very embarrassed by it. "Uugghh...My head hurts and my tummy's been acting weird lately." Mackenzie said as he puts his hand on his head and other on his stomach feeling his intestines squirming inside him. "Yep, Your definitely pregnant." Jack said still messing with the border collie.

"I'M NOT PREGNANT!" Mackenzie yelled at the top of lungs then he groans as he felt a sharp pain in his stomach gripping it. "Just...Leave me alone." Mackenzie said as he turns he back on his friends. Rusty and Jack both walked away doing what the border collie said. Mackenzie then lean his back against the wall and slides down to take a seat on the floor as he starts to feel a shortness of breath and starts to sweat. "Mackenzie? Are you doing alright?" Calypso said walk up to the young border collie and kneeling down to his level. "I...just...need...to catch...my breath." Mackenzie said as he struggles to breathe. Calypso then puts her hand on the border collie's forehead. "My goodness! your burning up." Calypso said in shock as the border collie's body temperature has increased. "Stay right there, I'm gonna call your parents to pick you up, Okay?" Calypso said running to the phone leaving Mackenzie who was soaked in his own sweat.

Mackenzie's House:

Mackenzie's mother tucks her son in bed. "Okay, Mackenzie just rest up in bed while I get you some medicine for your tummy, okay? Mackenzie's mother said tucking for son in with the blanket and get up to leave the room to let him rest. Mackenzie makes himself comfortable in his bed feeling anxious.

Meanwhile, Mackenzie's Father was downstairs in his computer looking up some professional doctors to contact in order to help his son.

Brisbane Hospital:

Calypso was visiting the mop pup and was sitting on the chair close to the bed where the pup was sitting. "You seem to be getting a little better. The doctor told me that you're a very brave little one." Calypso said to the mop pup petting her head who was still unable to speak. But Calypso didn't mind. All she wanted was for the mop pup to get used to her voice. "Here, I made something for you." Calypso said as she reaches in her bag and pulls out a red bracelet she made earlier and puts it on the mop pup's wrist. The mop pup's eyes widen out of curiosity. Even though she could not see the bracelet or even knew how to smile. She still didn't understand why this complete stranger was being to nice to her. It's something that she had never experienced in her entire life.

"Knock, Knock"

Dr. Schnauzer opens the door of the mop pup's hospital room. "Calypso, Can I talk to you outside for a moment?" Dr. Schnauzer said peeking into the hospital room. "Oh! Uh- Yes of course, Calypso said getting up from the chair. Calypso walks out of the room and noticed the police officers a Rottweiler and a German shepherd mix were standing in the hallway.

"So you must Calypso, right?" Officer Rottweiler said

"Yes, I am." Calypso responded.

"We're doing an investigation regarding the mop pup that your students discovered at your school. Is that correct?"

"Yes, that's exactly what happened."

"Okay, So how did your students discovered her?" Officer Rottweiler said taking out a notebook and pen out his pocket.

"Well, I was outside of the building watching my three other students build a small cabin and that's when my four students came up to me and founded this pup wondering by herself and that's was when I called the ambulance." Calypso said recounting what had occurred on the day the mop pup was discovered.

"Okay, What did she look like when you found her?" At that moment, Calypso starts to tear up after hearing that question.

"Well, When I first saw her. She was very malnourished and was covered in dirt from head-to-toe. Her fur was knotted and matted and was cover in bug and flea bites. I-I don't understand how could...anybody be so...irresponsible and so negligent." Calypso said as she bursts into tears after seeing the image of the mop pup's condition in her head. It's something that she never wants to think about. Since she has a strong love for children and hates to see them suffer or get hurt or in this case abandoned and neglected.

Officer Rottweiler then puts his hand on Calypso shoulder to comfort her. "Look, I know this is hard to talk about. But in to figure out what happened we need you to cooperate with us, Okay?"

Calypso then take a deep breath as she wipes the tears off her eyes to continue the interview.

"Now, Do you and your students have any recognition of this mop pup from anywhere?"

"No, None of my students had ever seen or recognized her from anywhere. Even, I didn't recognize her. Especially in the school area." Calypso said describing how she and the students in her school had never recognized the mop pup or knew who she was.

"Okay then, Well, We'll going to have to send this information to the police chief. In the meantime, We would like for you to give us all your students address for further investigation. If that's okay for you?" Officer Rottweiler said as he puts his notebook and pen back in his pockets.

"Uhh, Yes of course." Calypso responded.
