At night, Joel called his battalion for a meeting in the middle of headquarters. He stood in front of his battalion, ready to introduce their new ally.

Joel begins his explanation firmly, expecting their full attention: "Everyone, this is Daniela, she will help us complete the mission of protecting the priest." He points to Daniela, who simply waves and gives a relaxed smile "I expect you all to treat her with the respect of an ally."

With Daniela's introduction, suspicion and surprise filled the room. Soldier 06, André, starts to question. "Captain, with all due respect, where did you find this... lady?"

Joel sighs, anticipating the reaction his team might have "Funny story. I fought her last night, it was a draw, she followed me, and because of her strength, I offered her to help us with the priest mission."

Disbelief and indignation spread among the battalion, wondering why their captain would do something as foolish as accepting the help of a woman he fought.

Soldier 05, Sandro, expresses his outrage. "Captain, not to challenge your authority, but you understand this is stupid, right? I mean, she hasn't even gone through BOPE training or rehabilitation! Captain, this is madness! And you said you fought her, and you only fight criminals! Aren't you the one who always says criminals aren't even people?!"

Joel rolls his eyes and takes a deep breath, maintaining his composure in the face of his own battalion's distrust. "I understand your concerns, and yes, it seems crazy for me, of all people, to accept someone I fought. However, I can show you why Daniela will be such an essential help for us."

In an unexpected gesture, Joel materializes a gun in his hand and fires a shot directly at Daniela's head.

The outrage is overtaken by shock as everyone stands in disbelief at what they just witnessed. Perplexed and horrified expressions mix on the officers' faces while Joel keeps his calm demeanor.

"WHAT THE HELL, CAPTAIN?!"

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

"HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND, JOEL?!"

Joel rolls his eyes and approaches Daniela's fallen body. He crouches beside her, offering his hand to help her up. "Sorry about that, but I needed a demonstration."

Daniela groans a bit and accepts Joel's hand, standing up with a look of discomfort and irritation. "Damn... you could have warned me... if it had been a little more to the right, I'd be dead now..."

Joel shrugs. "Maybe... anyway." — He reaches into his bag and pulls out a blood bag, handing it to Daniela. "Here, to help you regenerate."

She raises an eyebrow in confusion but still accepts the blood bag. "Why do you carry this in your bag?"

"Our job is dangerous, in case someone needs an immediate blood transfusion."

Daniela looks at Joel, then at the blood bag, and smiles: "You're forgiven." She plunges her fingers into the blood bag and begins feeding, regenerating the wound on her head.

The battalion watches in disbelief. The fact that she can survive such an attack and regenerate with such ease is both terrifying and astonishing.

Joel turns to them with an indifferent expression. "Do you understand why I accepted her as an ally? Even though she can't see Stands, she's incredibly powerful and will assist us in daily incursions. I want you to treat her like one of us. Any objections?"

Seeing no opposition, Joel nods. "Great. We'll begin the incursions tonight." He turns to Daniela and declares loudly: "Daniela Brando, you will cooperate with us to ensure the safety of Father Enrico Pucci. Until the end of our alliance, you will be assigned the number '07', and you—"

Daniela interrupts Joel, her voice filled with indignation: "No way! I refuse to be identified by a simple number like any random person! I'm far more powerful, a superior creature to you all, so I expect an identification worthy of myself."

Joel stares at Daniela and counts to ten to calm down. He really wants to break this vampire's spine, but he understands that they need her help. "...fine... then tell me what kind of identification you want?"

She smirks arrogantly, already having a name in mind — "How about 'Dea'?"

Joel looks at her in silence: "... Fucking grief... I suppose it's because of that villain from the book you mentioned?"

She smiles and places a hand on her hip: "Exactly. You're quite perceptive, I'll give you that, JoJo."

Joel rolls his eyes and covers his face in embarrassment as the others stare at him, clearly surprised by the nickname Daniela gave Joel.

Daniela chuckles: "Well, you're partially right. 'Dio' means God in Italian, while 'Dea' means Goddess. But it's also an acronym with three meanings. In Portuguese, Deusa Eterna Áurea. In Italian, Dea Eterna è Ammaliante. In Latin, Dea Exsuperans Aeterna, all of which describe me perfectly."

They stare at each other, as Joel's gaze shows anger and irritation while Daniela's is lighthearted and mocking. Joel sighs: "Fine, Dea it is then..."

Daniela claps her hands in satisfaction: "Perfect! What now, Captain JoJo?"

"First, stop calling me that. Second, since it's already night, let's get ready to go to Turano."

"Alright... but before that, could I know more about how this team operates?"

Joel rolls his eyes: "Yeah, that's a good idea. My battalion has the members' numbers cataloged by roles. I'm 01 since I'm the captain; Marcos, my right-hand man, is 02; Felipe and Olívia are respectively 03 and 04 as our intelligence; and since Sandro and André are front-line soldiers, they're 05 and 06." He points to Daniela "And since you would be a soldier, you'd be 07."

Daniela pouts and turns her head playfully, speaking in an overly dramatic tone: "Oh no! I'm too valuable to be just a simple soldier!" She turns and laughs as she playfully grabs Joel's arm. "Maybe I should be your right-hand! Or better yet, I could be the captain of the team!"

"Fucking grief... If you keep this up, I'll beat you the fuck up." Joel replies with a sigh.

Daniela laughs again, her playful tone never ceasing: "Oh my, such chivalry, JoJo."

He sighs, already expecting that he's going to have a massive headache with this vampire...
