Southern Gate fight
Deidara was walking among corpses of men who died protecting the gate. Only one of them was standing:black haired man who was wearing glasses and Suna's armor. He was a spy of the Akatsuki who successfully offered Deidara a free pass to the village.
Deidara: "Good work! It's good to see we still have supporters."
The dark-haired man felt confident and proud until Deidara got close enough to breath in his face. It felt like the breath of death. His eyes froze looking ahead into distance, because his neck was already covered in blood and before he knew it, the spy opened his eyes on the other side. Deidara smirked. A pocket opened up in the palm of his right hand and a tongue came out of it. Deidara was carrying a small bag of molding clay that the tongue on his palm had to chew to make it into different shapes and infuse it with the user's chakra before launching bombs towards the enemy.
Deidara: "I wonder how long it will take me to find that Jinchuriki."
He opened a scroll, put it on the ground and summoned the famous giant white bird that had made him so popular among villains. Deidara's face screamed of pride and self-sufficiency as he hopped onto the bird. He didn't care about his life. He was a paid assassin, emotionless, fearless and crazy. As soon as he soared in the sky, he felt happy to be welcomed by brown packs of explosive powder, his favourite form of art.
"Art is an explosion." Deidara's motto was.
He closed his eyes, held onto his bird and flew among fireworks like he was born for it. His ears had never heard anything more beautiful than the echo of a blast. He weighed his little bag of molding clay. He didn't have enough to destroy the "straw guardians" that were maneuvered everywhere by 200 puppeteers from the ground, so he had to save his reserve for the Jinchuriki, for Gaara.
Deidara opened his eyes.
"How do I make One-tail come out of its hiding spot?"
Deidara's hand used its teeth and tongue to bite and chew white clay, making it into 3 small spiders that he then threw in different directions to see if Gaara's ultimate defense would show up. A few screams from the ground reached his ears and he smirked.
"That spider wasn't even big enough to kill and yet, an idiot died. They're no match for me!"
As he grew even more confident, he plunged from the sky towards the ground, catching a puppet by the strings mid-air and swirling it above his head to redirect bombs directed to him and destroy other puppets. His advance was cut short by poisonous arrows sent towards him by jonin class on the ground, so he was forced to seek refuge in the sky. The sky was clear and yet, a big shadow had cast onto the flying man and his bird by what he too late identified as a giant paw, Gaara's paw with sharp claws. Before it could fully enclose the enemy, Deidara threw 2 bombs back; the gust of wind they created gave the man the momentum he needed to escape death by flying in another direction. The sand that was left from the paw returned to its master.

Sakura's POV
I told you to stay next to me, so I can protect you. How do you know Uchiha is there?
I can feel his chakra. He's getting closer! Gaara-kun, where do I hide? Please help me.
I can't leave the battlefield, but I will let you know what to do. Where exactly are you?
In your room.
What are you doing there?
Feeding the crabs. It was stupid of me. I am sorry.
Gaara-kun exhaled. The truth is this is my biggest blunder. I am an idiot.
Forget about the crabs and pull the blinds.
There was only one small round window in the room, so I went straight to it. The blinds seemed old, eaten by moths. Why does Gaara-kun keep something so old?
There's a small hole in the blinds. Do you see it?
Yes.
Take a step back and look through the hole. When you see a dune, turn around and walk in that direction. You'll find the entrance to a secret passage.
I did exactly that. My heart beat so fast, I could barely hear anything else. I saw the tip of the dune and I turned around, walked in the direction it led me and I stepped on a stone that opened a secret passage, just like Gaara-kun said.
Did you do it?
Yes. I am climbing down the steps right now.
The door closed behind me as soon as I walked in as if I was never there. I created a beam of light to see where I am going because the tunnels are not illuminated at all.
Are you in?
Yes.
I can't stay with you. I have to focus here. Hide until I finish this man. Reach out to me if it's urgent.
I will. Thank you.
I walked fast. The walls gave me the impression they were made out of wet sand. Good thing the path I am walking on is made of stone, otherwise I would have to erase my footprints. I wanted to lose myself in the maze of tunnels, as low and as deep as I could, so Sasuke would never find me. Therefore, I randomly turned left and right so many times that I lost count. I can't risk reaching the surface now. God help Gaara-kun.

Temari's POV
As soon as I heard the first explosion, I took shelter behind my fan. My foot pivoted on the ground with the fan in my hand and my whole body made a pirouette. It's my invisibility jutsu. It only lasts for 30 seconds and then I have to recharge. However, my chakra reserves are not infinite. I can't use this trick many times. As I got closer to home and farther from Gaara, I asked myself what am I doing not protecting my brothers?
A handsome black-haired boy is what I spotted from the kitchen window. I know this cutie. He was on Sakura's team. Konoha ninja shouldn't be here. I lost control of my jutsu when that boy made a hole in three consecutive walls in my house. How dares he? I watched him from afar, hiding behind walls. He appears to be looking for someone. SAKURA! My hands clenched the fan. I can't sense her chakra. She must be underground. Hmpf! My fan revealed the first purple moon and I swung it in Sasuke's direction. Wind blew so hard towards him, that it broke all windows in its way and a wall collapsed on top of Uchiha Sasuke. I used my invisibility jutsu again before his Sharingan spotted me. I don't want him to foresee my attacks. I am just going to play with him since I don't have permission to kill him. Let's see what he's trying to do. Right then I saw a giant sand paw in the sky. Gaara, you can do this!

Northern Gate fight
A hunchback covered in black rags with a scorpion tail made of metal was waiting at the gate, fully exposed, without moving a muscle. He didn't have eyelids because he was a puppet. The real master was hiding inside it.
Kankurou and his team arrived to meet the intruder. They had run to make it in time, so they were sweaty.
Sasori: "I don't like to wait and I don't like to make people wait. Who shall attack me first?"
Kankurou: "You won't look so unfazed after this!"
Sasori remained still. Kankurou adopted a fighting stance, chakra threads connected the tips of his fingers to 3 puppets: Karasu, the offensive, Shinsuo, the defensive and Kuroari, the death coffin.
Kankurou launched Karasu and Kuroari towards the enemy. They ran around the target in circles, lifting sand around. Poisoned needles and kunai flew from the belly, arms and mouth of the puppets. Sasori blocked them with his scorpion tail without looking. His ears were so sharp, he could tell the location of the weapons as they were thrown just by the sound.
Kankurou's teammates opened their mouths in shock.
"How did he block Kankurou-sama's attacks so easily?"
Sasori: "Is that all you can, boy?"
Kankurou gritted his teeth in annoyance. Kuroari disassembled. All of its limbs came out of the main body, including the head. Each of them had sharp blades at the end. Karasu had reached under Sasori's feet in the sand while Kuroari was running in circles around the enemy. Karasu punched Sasori, lifting him into the air. Kuroari opened its wide belly to welcome him inside as he was falling. Karasu's blades stabbed Sasori through the small holes in the puppet that used to accommodate the limbs previously.
Any normal enemy would have bled to death, but not this one. A cruel laugh came out from above. Kankurou's men got the chills, but he kept his composure. Instead of blood, sand seeped through the small holes in Kuroari.
Kankurou quickly assembled Kuroari. When the puppets bent their arms, poison bombs came out of them, enveloping the enemy in a purple cloud. It took 3 minutes for the poison to dissipate, yet the enemy was just as alive as before.
Sasori: "Keeping people waiting any longer is against my policy. Now it's my turn!"
Sasori's tail came towards Kankurou with lightning speed. Its pointy tip was purple, as what Kankurou was about to find out later that Sasori was filled with a type of poison he had created by himself, one that didn't have an antidote.
Kankurou positioned the giant Shinsuo in front of himself. The puppet looked like a beetle. The collar round its neck rose to become a shield. The puppet was as strong as iron as Kankurou had used it before, back when a stone building collapsed on his team and they all survived by hiding behind the shield. Sasori's tail ricocheted, but not after long, it attacked the beetle from the side, straight into the weak spot of Shinsuo, making its collar fly away. The puppet became useless.
Sasori: "I created these puppets. I know all of their weak spots."

Cupcake, thank you for supporting my idea. :D
