After leaving the castleteria, Briar had taken Apple outside to the garden which was far away from anyone.

"Are you even aware of what you just did?" asked Briar.

"Raven and I just had another fight is all," said Apple.

"Apple, you didn't even fight like that when you let the Evil Queen out of the prison mirror last year," said Briar.

"Why would you even pick a fight with her like that?" she asked.

"What, are you on Raven's side in all of this?" asked Apple in a snooty tone.

"Wow, you're really so stuck in your own little world that you can't even see when someone is worried for you," said Briar while giving the blonde a look of disbelief as she shook her head.

"I never asked you to worry about me," said Apple.

"All I need is for my story to play out, which it can't do because of Raven and her selfish ideas," she said.

"I guess you don't need a BFFA anymore then," said Briar with a hurt expression.

"But before I go, I just want to say that Raven is right about Daring, you can't even pull him away from a mirror long enough to love anyone else," she said before running away while crying.

"Is there no one I can trust around here?!" asked Apple once she thought she was alone. However, Maddie and Kitty were sitting in a nearby tree.

"I thought this story was about Grace and the others," said Kitty who was leaning back on Maddie while the Hatter was leaning on the tree trunk.

"Knowing the author, he's just wanting to torture Raven and Apple and bring the six in later for something," said Maddie.

"Lets just hope he does not go too far at least," said Kitty.

"But I do wonder what he has planned," she said as she noticed Raven heading into the forest in the distance.
