Here's Chapter three. Again, slightly modified events, but mostly the same.

I don't own Transformers or any brands referenced in this, only the OC.

Chapter Three: Hoover Dam Secrets!

I jolt awake as the S7 guys are telling us to get into a helicopter to go to Hoover Dam. We even get headsets.

"So, what they'd get you for?" A guy named Glenn asks.

"I bought a car, and it turned out to be an alien robot. Who knew?"

Once the helicopter landed, Simmons, with pants on this time, greets us.

"Hey, kids. I think we got off to a bad start, huh? You must be hungry? You want a latte? Ho-Ho? Double venti macchiato?"

"Where's my car?" Sam demands.

"Kids, I need you to listen to me very carefully. People can die here. We need to know everything you know. We need to know it now." Another guy, Banachek, I call him Banana-chek, says.

"Okay. But first, I'll take our friends, my parents. Maybe you should write that down. Oh, and her juvie record. That's got to be gone. Like, forever." Sam says.

"Come with me. We'll talk about your cars." Banana-chek says.

"Thank you." Mikeala says to Sam.

"Man's an extortionist." Simmons murmurs, nodding in an approving fashion.

"All right, here's the situation. You've all had direct contact with the NBEs." Simmons leads us into the dam.

"NBEs?" Epps, one of the soldiers, asks.

"Non-Biological Extraterrestrials. Try and keep up with the acronyms."

"What you're about to see is totally classified." Banachek says.

"Dear God. What is this?" The secretary of defense, Keller, asks. It's Megatron, as a frozen, unmoving statue. My heart quickens in fear.

"We think when he made his approach over the north pole, our gravitational field screwed up his telemetry. He crashed in the ice, probably a few thousand years ago. We shipped him here to this facility in 1934." Banana-chek says.

"We call him NBE-One." Simmons says pointedly.

"Well, sir, I don't mean to correct you on everything you think you know, but- I mean, that's Megatron. He's the leader of the Decepticons." Sam says.

"He's been in cryostasis since 1935. Your great-great-grandfather made one of the greatest discoveries in the history of mankind." Banachek's gaze flicks between Sam and I.

"Fact is, you're looking at the source of the modern age. The microchip, lasers, spaceflight, cars, all reverse-engineered by studying him. NBE-One. That's what we call it." Simmons informs us.

"And you didn't think the United States military might need to know that you're keeping a hostile alien robot frozen in the basement?" Keller asks incredulously.

"Until these events, we had no credible threat to national security."

"Well, you got one now." He says.

"So why Earth?" Lennox, another soldier asks.

"It's the Allspark." I pipe up.

"Allspark? What is that?" Keller asks.

"They came looking for a big cube looking thing. Megatron here, who pretty much is the harbinger of death, wants to take it to turn human technology into an army to take over the universe." I say.

"And you're sure about that?" Simmons asks.

"Yeah, the aliens and us talk. You guys know where the AllSpark is, don't you?" I cross my arms and narrow my eyes. "You're keeping it like it's a little nick-nack, and Megatron like he's a pet, aren't you?"

"Aren't you a little firebrand?" Banachek says. "Follow me."

"I'm a teenage girl. I'm supposed to be sassy." I say it like it's a fact, 'cause it is.

"You're about to see our crown jewel." Simmons leads us to the Allspark.

The AllSpark is massive, with Cybertronian written all over it. It's shiny, yet dull. This is easily a thousand times better than Star Wars, or Avengers, or any Si-fi movie for that matter!

"Carbon dating puts the Cube here around ten thousand BC. The first Seven didn't find it until 1913. They knew it was alien because of the matching hieroglyphics on the Cube as well as NBE-One. President Hoover had the dam built around it. Four football fields thick of concrete. A perfect way to hide its energy from being detected by anyone or any alien species on the outside." Banana-chek tells us

"Wait, back up." Maggie asks in her British accent. "You said the dam hides the Cube's energy. What kind exactly?"

"Good question. Please step inside. They have to lock us in." Banana-chek says, leading us to a little room with a glass box in the middle.

"What's that? Freddy Krueger been up in here or something?" Epps asks, noticing deep gashes in the walls.

"No, man. Freddy Krueger have four blades, man. That's only three. That's Wolverine! Hrr!" Glenn laughs. "Right? That's Wolverine!"

"That's very funny. Anybody have any mechanical devices? BlackBerry? Key alarm? Cell phone?" Simmons asks.

"I got a phone." Glenn hands it to Simmons.

Simmons inspects it. "Ooh, Nokias are real nasty. You've got to respect the Japanese. They know the way of the samurai."

"Nokia's from Finland." Maggie says in a tone that's more like a question.

"Yes, but he's, you know... a little strange. He's a little strange." Keller responds.

"You think?" I whisper.

"We're able to take the Cube radiation... and funnel it into that box." Simmons says.

It transforms and starts shooting at the glass. Everyone flinches or gasps, well, besides the soldiers. They tighten their grasps on their sidearms, though.

"Mean little sucker, huh?" Simmons asks.

"That thing is freaky!" Maggie gasps.

"Kind of like the itty-bitty Energizer Bunny from hell, huh?" Simmons says.

It tries to escape even more.

"Oh... He's breaking the box." Simmons pulls the plug on the little Nokia-bot.

Now I can see why Megatron wants the cube. He wouldn't even have to do anything, his army of transformed human tech would wipe us out without him lifting a finger. We need to get to Ratchet and Bee!

The lights suddenly flicker.

"Gentlemen, they know the Cube is here." Keller says in a grave voice.

"This is Banachek. What's going on?" Banachek says into a phone.

"Well, the NBE-One hangar has lost power-"

"What!" Banana-chek screeches.

"-and the backup generator is just not gonna cut it."

"Do you have an arms room?" Lennox asks.

"Get everyone to the NBE-One chamber now!" Banachek yells.

He motions to us to follow and the group of us sprint down the halls.

"The lights are out!" I gasp.

"They're popping our generators!" Banachek exclaims as we rush into the arms room.

"Forty-millimeter sabot rounds on that table!" Simmons points.

"That's good. Get all the ammo you got. Everything you can carry. Bring it." Lennox orders his men. The soldiers slam sabot rounds into launchers quickly and with a purpose.

"You got to take us to the cars. You have to take us to the cars, they're gonna know what to do with the Cube." Sam says.

"The cars? They're confiscated." Simmons shakes his head.

"Then unconfiscate them." I snip.

"We do not know what will happen if we let it near this thing!" Simmons snaps. "Maybe you know, but I don't know."

"You just wanna sit here and wait and see what happens?" Sam asks.

"I have people's lives at stake here, kids." Simmons raised his voice.

"Take the kids to the cars!" Lennox points a sabot launcher at Simmons. The rest of the soldiers point weapons at the S7 agents.

"Wha-" Simmons gasps.

"Whoa!" A few of the S7 agents draw their firearms as well.

"Drop it." Lennox says in a deadly voice.

"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" Banana-chek gasps.

"Drop your weapon, soldier. There's an alien war going on and you're gonna shoot me?" Simmons says incredulously.

"You know, we didn't ask to be here." Lennox glares at him

"I'm ordering you under S7 executive jurisdiction." Simmons says.

"S7 don't exist." Epps puts Simmons in his place with some choice words.

"Right." Lennox nods. "And we don't take orders from people that don't exist."

"I'm gonna count to five." Simmons says slowly.

"Well, I'm gonna count to three." Lennox drops his tone to a few degrees above freezing and glares daggers at Simmons.

"Simmons?" Keller speaks up.

"Yes, sir?" Simmons asks.

"I'd do what he says. Losing's really not an option for these guys."

"All right. Okay." Simmons drawls. "Hey, you want to lay the fate of the world on the kid's Camaro? That's cool."

He takes all of us to Bee. Be squeals and moans.

"No, no! Stop! You got to stop!" Sam shouts. "Stop! Stop! Stop!"

"No, no, stop, stop, stop!" Banana-chek shouts

"You got to let him go!" Sam shouts again at the S7 agents "Let him go!"

Sam lowers his voice considerably. "You okay?"

Bumblebee nodded, pointing his guns at the S7 agents

"They didn't hurt you, right?" Sam asked.

"Did they… hurt you?" Bumblebee asked us.

"No, we're ok." I grin and give him a thumbs up.

"Listen to me." Sam tells him. "The Cube is here and the Decepticons are coming. We need to go."

Bumblebee still keeps his guns pointed.

"No, no, don't worry about them. They're okay. Right? They're not gonna hurt you." Sam explained.

Bumblebee met our gazes and put away the guns.

"Just back up a little bit. He's friendly. He's fine." I tell everyone.

"Here, come with us. We're going to go get Ratchet and then we'll go get the AllSpark." Sam says.

"The other one is this way." Simmons leads us into another room. Inside, Ratchet laid ominously motionless on his side atop a flat concrete slab.

"Oh, gosh." Maggie gasps. Lennox spun on Simmons angrily.

Ignoring everyone, I bolt up to the platform with tears in the corners of my eyes, disregarding Sam reaching for me.

"Ratchet?" I squeak, and try to pull myself onto the raised platform. It's too tall. My feet scrape at the sides as I try to get onto it. Bee gives my feet a little boost with his finger.

"Thanks, Bee." I nod, and climb onto Ratchet, getting right in front of his head.

"Ratchet?" I squeak again. I hug his head. "You promised you'd be okay." I choked the words out. "You promised."

"Oh, Alex," Sam reaches out to me again; this time, however, Bee stops him.

"Give the kid a chance…" Bee played from his radio.

"Please?" I whisper in the slightest tone.

I feel the littlest shift from the mass of metal underneath me. At first, I thought I was imagining things. "Ratchet?"

The mech groaned, opening his optics.

"I told you I'd be fine." He made a slight smile.

I tighten my hug. "Next time don't scare us like that!"

"We need to go." Sam said, giving me a "You better behave yourself" older brother look. We make it to the AllSpark. Ratchet nudges 'Bee forward.

"Are you sure?" Bee asks.

"Go on." He nods.

"Ah, okay, here we go. He doing something. He doing something." Epps gasps. The cube starts to transform into… a smaller cube.

"Wow!" Sam gasps.

"That's amazing!" I glance up at Ratchet. He nods and smiles.

"That it is."

"Oh my Gosh."

"Message from Starfleet, Captain. Let's get to it." Bee says.

"He's right. If we stay here, we're screwed with Megatron in the other hangar. Mission City is twenty-two miles away. We're gonna sneak that Cube out of here and we're gonna hide it somewhere in the city." Lennox says in a serious tone.

"Good! Right!" Keller says with a fake upbeat tone.

"But we cannot make a stand without the Air Force." Lennox says seriously.

"This place must have some kind of radio link!" Keller exclaims.

"Yes!" Simmons nods.

"Shortwave, CB!" Keller asks.

"Right! Yes!" Simmons argues.

"Sir, you got to figure out some way to get word out to them." Lennox tells Keller. He glances to the rest of us. "Let's move!
