Chapter 15: This is it

Freddy and his friends went to their homes to pass the time away with whatever they did. To say it wasn't easy to pass the time away would be an understatement. Constantly, they would look at the time and it would seem to go unbelievably slow. It was the most difficult for Freddy, since he wanted to do this the most. But much like his father and friends, he had no choice but to wait.

After several hours, the time finally came. It had just turned 8pm when Bonnie went to go pick everyone up. Soon, they were leaving town yet again, on their way to building 37B once more. To them, this was the endgame. Once they got the final files, they could take it to the pizzeria and send it off to a government center the following day as the post office wasn't open in the middle of the night.

"This is it!" said Foxy triumphantly, "Once we get them files, it's time for Monty to walk the plank!" "That gator thought he was slick," said Fredbear, "Turns out the only thing he's slick at is making himself obvious to his prey." "Monty being a reckless owner of his own company is his downfall," said Freddy. "True that," said Bonnie. "Let's not celebrate too early, we haven't even gotten our files," reminded Chica.

They got to the building, but there was security up front. "Dang it!" Bonnie said, "Now what do we do?" Freddy looked to the left of it and saw fire escape stairs. "We'll climb up those emergency stairs and make our way to the second level," said Freddy, "Once we're in, we'll find those files in the room they are in and potentially have a quick read of them before exiting." "Should any of us check inside and out if anyone happens to catch onto us?" asked Chica. "Yes," replied Freddy, "Foxy, you stay outside to check. Bonnie, you check inside. Me, Fredbear, and Chica will go to the second level to get the files. If you guys see anyone suspicious or anyone going to where we are, call one of us immediately." "You got it captain!" said Foxy. "Absolutely!" said Bonnie.

Bonnie parked the van not too far from the building, before they all exited. While security checked his photo ID before he could enter, Freddy, Fredbear, and Chica climbed up the emergency stairs while security was distracted. Meanwhile, Foxy just hung outside on the lookout.

Freddy and the others made it to the second floor, but had a hard time opening the door. "I think they locked it," he said. "Let me try something," said Chica, as she took out her debit card and try and unlock the door from there. "Chica, please," Fredbear said, "That trick in the book is dated, there's no way that is gonna work."

Despite his statement, the door opened. "As you were saying?" asked Chica. "Nevermind, scratch that," said Fredbear. "When we go in, we have to be extra careful that there are no security cameras," Freddy explained to his friend and father, "Just because there were none outside, doesn't mean there aren't any inside." So they carefully roamed their way across the second floor.

Back outside, Foxy was trying not to fall asleep, but he could feel it occurring. "Don't fall asleep lad!" he said to himself, "I need to find something to occupy me mind." But with very little to do and not wanting to get distracted in case someone did show up, it became difficult. The least he could do for the time being was watch videos off his phone, while also being equally aware of his surroundings.

Meanwhile, Bonnie was hanging around in the bar area of the first floor. Plenty of good vibes, which was to be expected in a place like this. With the music playing and the people dancing, the rabbit decided to take a seat and get a soda from the bar counter. "No liquor, just a cola," said Bonnie. "You got it boss," replied the bartender.

Just then, Bonnie's phone began ringing. Buster was calling him, which was odd since Bonnie had tried to get ahold of Buster through texting. Despite him calling now of all times, he answered regardless. "Oh Buster, thank gosh!" said Bonnie in relief, but noticed something off, "But if your fine with me asking...where the hell are you?"

It was revealed that Buster was in a grey brick room and wore a yellow inmate jumpsuit. Buster sighed, "I think you know where I am..." The elder bunny's face looked down. "Oh," Bonnie said in realization, before his face fell, "Wait a minute, if your in jail, then how are you able to call me right now? You know, with your phone." Buster just looked at Bonnie, "You really want a rundown of how I was able to get contact of you here?" "No, nevermind," said Bonnie, getting where Buster was coming from.

The bartender came over with Bonnie's soda. "Thank you," Bonnie said. Buster looked at Bonnie's surroundings, "Speaking of where the hell I am, where the hell are you?" "Me and my friends are in Building 37B," replied Bonnie, "We're getting what we need and we'll be out of here in no time!"

"Look, you guys need to get the files as fast as you can and ship em off to any government agency," Buster explained, "I don't want to cause any sort of alarm, but Monty is in town!" Bonnie spit out his soda that he was drinking. "Huh?!" he exclaimed. "Yeah, you heard that right!" Buster continued, "The gator sure got me by the neck, but I didn't give him any valuable information! No matter how intimidating he became, I wasn't going to budge for him. His friend was especially not intimidating." "I'm sorry, his friend?" asked Bonnie.

But before Buster could answer, a voice could be heard on Buster's side. "You need to hang up that call Buster," he said, as Buster turned around with a very scared expression on his face, "I'm feeling romantic with somebody..." It was a dark brown bear who also wore a yellow jumpsuit. "Hey, that's Francis," said Bonnie, "But where are the boys?" "I'm gonna have to go!" Buster said in a panic, "Pray for me!" "I will," replied Bonnie, "But what are you talking about when you say Monty's friend?"

"What part of beardingo party do you not understand?!" yelled Francis as 2 more bears came out as they and Francis surrounded Buster. The rabbit's ears went back and the video call ended. "Now of all times?!" Bonnie sighed in frustration, "Well, at least I saw Francis and the boys."

Back on the 2nd level, Freddy, Chica, and Fredbear were walking around the halls. Freddy used his phone to look around the place. It took some time, but they eventually got to room 232. "Here we go," said Chica, "All we need is to go in that room and get what we need." Freddy nodded in response, then took a deep breath, before opening the door.

It looked like some sort of office room. They looked around, before coming across some filing cabinets. They looked at every one, until the last one on the very bottom. There was one singular folder with words that said: CONFIDENTIAL.

Freddy, Chica, and Fredbear knew they were gonna be in for some serious stuff. The best they could is prepare themselves mentally for what they were about to read. Freddy opened the folder and even though there were only 2 pages, it spoke volumes. The first page went as followed...

When desperate measures need to be taken, here is what needs to be done. If under threat by anything, analyze the situation first. Once that is done, make the determining factor of what should happen. In the case of me not being around, keep these levels in mind. Level 1, small problem. Level 2, moderate problem. Level 3, big problem.

- Montgomery Gator

Second page:

Level 1 problem: If you are experiencing someone being on the case, make sure you deny it and if it continues, make sure to do as many bribes and mind games as possible.

Level 2 problem: If the files are at jeopardy of being exposed by anyone or Monty's prey, burn they evidence and lock em up! With enough evidence, you can put whoever is on us in jail and potentially prison.

Level 3 problem: In the worst case scenario, if we were to get exposed, there's only 1 solution to make sure we have the last laugh. Yes, we have plans to go into hiding if we don't get caught by then, but before we do that, we take out whoever exposes our files. Whether it be the prey, a friend of theirs, someone who looks out for them, we kill them.

- Sparky Dog

Freddy, Chica, and Fredbear stared at the pages, trying to process what was read. "Did we seriously just read a step by step guide on how to deal with us???" exclaimed Fredbear. "I'm afraid we did," said Chica, "And it looks like we found out the mystery person." Freddy looked like he was about to pass out as he murmured, "It's...Sparky."

Freddy fell onto the desk in the office. He fell on it with so much force, that not only the desk broke, he woke up almost immediately from the pain. "OWW!!!" Freddy shouted. "You alright?!" asked Chica in a panic. "Felt the pens and pencils go directly in my back, totally feel great!" said Freddy sarcastically. "Save the sarcasm for later Frederick," said Fredbear, "We got the last files, now let's get the hell-"

Out of nowhere, an alarm sounded in the room that was extremely loud. Freddy's fall must've set it off due to him falling over and breaking the desk. The trio knew they had to get out of there immediately, so they did. But unknown to Freddy, he had a tiny listening device stuck in his back due to the fall on the desk. Safe to say, whether it was put there by Monty, Sparky, or Friedlander, they were more than prepared than Freddy, his father, or friends could have imagined.

Outside, Foxy was just scrolling on his phone. To no surprise, he was bored out of his mind. Trying to not fall asleep was the difficult task, as seen times before. "This is impossible," Foxy sighed. Little did he know, he was about to get that boost of adrenaline to help him.

Freddy, Chica, and Fredbear exited the door, went down the emergency stairs, before booking it to the van. Not giving a damn whether security noticed them or not. Luckily, no security noticed.

Foxy was still on his phone until he saw his friends approaching him. "There me crew is," he said. "We gotta go now!" Freddy called. Foxy got the hint as he and the crew immediately went towards the van, going inside it as soon as they arrived. "We got the files," said Fredbear. "I'll call Bonnie," said Chica, picking up her phone and dialing Bonnie's number.

Bonnie just finished up his soda, before noticing Chica calling him. "Hello?" he asked when picking up the phone. "We got what we needed, we gotta go now!" said Chica. "I'll be on my way my sweet- I mean, my beau- Ugh! I'll be there soon Chica." Bonnie hung up and raced towards the van.

Back in the van Chica hung up too, wondering what that was all about. "I think Bonnie had a bit of a tongue twister or something," she said. To her and everyone's surprise, Bonnie was already in the van. He rushed to put the keys in.

"Wow Bonnie, you're fast!" said Freddy. "The rabbit came in with that super speed," added Foxy. "Speaking of speed and being fast," said Bonnie. He then threw the van in reverse before getting out of the area.

"Ha ha! We did it!" said Foxy. "That we did," said Fredbear, "We just have to keep these in the pizzeria like we have been with the other files." "So if I'm not mistaken, one of us will be taking this and the other files to the post office tomorrow morning?" asked Bonnie. "Yep," replied Freddy, "I'll write a page explaining that it's me and how we gathered these as evidence against Monty. I should get a call from them within a matter of days, and maybe this will lead to Monty getting a taste of what he deserves."

Chica noticed something on Freddy's back and pulled it off. "Gee, what was that for?" asked Freddy. "Something was on your back," said Chica, "Something from when you fell on that desk I guess, but it looks too thick and not as pointy to be part of a pencil." "Maybe something was on the desk but we didn't see it?" assumed Freddy, but he didn't know for sure himself, "Best to throw it out the window since it's literally nothing."

Chica threw it out the window and the device broke from the force of hitting the ground. The listening device couldn't pick up anything else now.

Unknown to Freddy and the gang, Monty, Sparky, and Friedlander listened in to the conversation the moment the audio started picking up, which sent a notification to Monty. They heard everything. "Well checkmate Fazbear! Because you can't report me or bring the pizzeria back, if they're already gone!" said Monty. Sparky smirked, while Friedlander smiled nervously, fearing that Monty and Sparky were about to do something drastic.
