Daemon of Wrath: Yes, in my opinion, reawakening or gaining a boost just to raise their power ranks is a bit stupid. I change it so it can still grow stronger, so yes, they can grow and rank up. Also, bruh, forget the Monarchs, one Dungeon Boss is enough to kick his mashed potato's ass. As for your theory, hmm...
ProjectIceman: Yes XD

Aizawa has been miserable for several months. Ever since he has taken the case of the disappearance of Lizard's Tail, he gets less and less sleep. When he tries to find clues regarding how they died, it leads him to open several cans of worms.
First of all, Lizard's Tail isn't the underworld organization that manages to stay under the radar while selling drugs to people. In the man's diary, he got shit tons of lists regarding the said organization. He and his fellow underground heroes have been busy grabbing a mop and cleaning the fuck out of the underworld.
It's safe to say that he hates the case with every fiber of his being. He thought he knew the underworld in his career, but apparently, it was clear that it was the mere tip of the iceberg.
It reveals so many things that he wishes he remained ignorant. He has a feeling his boss knew and chose to keep it from him. Ignorance is bliss.
When he raids their hideouts, it shows a lot of things. Slavery, either for physical labor or for sex. He thought it no longer existed, but clearly, it was simply swept under the rug. He never felt so repulsed in his life, seeing all the victims beg him to either order him or take off his pants. He wishes they could recover, but from all the damages they have taken, he highly doubt it.
Next is the auction. Not just a mere auction, a slave auction. He thought slavery was bad, but the auction is ten times worse. During his undercover mission, he infiltrated one of the markets to gain information. What he saw in the auction horrified him: a man with a mutant quirk, limbs were cut off to keep him from escaping, committed suicide in front of all of them by biting his tongue. He never felt so disgusted towards human beings, as all of the attendees merely displayed mild disappointment and utter disgust.
He never felt so happy to see them get shot by the S.A.T. He never felt so happy seeing so many bloodbaths, and that's saying something that never like killing.
The next one is the underground fighting ring. He has heard few things about it and even heard the rumors of Mirko joining one back when she was a student, so it wasn't surprising. What shocked him was what was in the fighting ring. All of the battle switches into a bloody cage match, and he means it literally.
As he continues to raid, he grows more and more exhausted, and his view of humanity slowly skews. He can't help but think his boss' sadistic tendencies towards humans are justified, given how he has seen nothing but the worst of humanity.
And speaking of humanity, he can't stop thinking about the leader of Lizard's Tail. It was revealed that he has a living relative, a hero who hails from Japan and who abandons his country for the U.S. due to the humiliation he suffers when he challenges All Might and gets beaten terribly.
To make things worse for the man, All Might's fan and trainee, Star and Stripes, the number one U.S. hero, exists. He doesn't need to watch the international news to imagine him screaming in anger and frustration at how he always be in second in the U.S. because of her.
But another thing that comes to mind is that the man cares about his brother, albeit in a weird way. He can't help but be nervous about how he'll react if the news about his brother died in this country, killed by a still-mysterious killer.
Speaking of the mysterious killer, he can't help but wonder who's the one responsible for the murder. Despite clues showing that the leader is murdered, nothing leads to the murderer. Even after flipping the majority of the underworld upside down, he is still unable to find a single clue. He is baffled at how he remains hidden even till now.
He sighs and decides that he should push those thoughts aside. Right now, he has an exam to observe and brats to look out for. He still wonders if it's even a good idea to let these brats learn to be heroes, as the majority of them are snot-nosed brats.
He opens the observation room and blinks when he sees All Might in his glory, He looks a bit younger and...healthier. He didn't know why, but he felt that way when he saw the man. He turns to see his fellow teacher, a blue-haired woman in a dominatrix suit (Aizawa still wonders how is that legal in the first place), a blonde-haired man wearing leather outfits and a speaker on his neck, a humanoid cement block, a man dress like a cowboy with gas mask, a woman in an astronaut suit, a man in a trench coat and prosthetic legs, and a small humanoid white rat sipping his tea.
"Ah, Aizawa-kun, you're here!" The rat chimes in as Aizawa grunts before he feels he wants to yawn. He pulls out a pill from his bag and tries to consume it only for it to disappear. He blinks before noticing another figure, an elderly doctor holding an oversized syringe, crushing the pill and dropping it.
"Those medicines are not good for you. You need a proper rest!" The old lady exclaims as Aizawa huffs before pulling a sleeping bag out of nowhere and sleeping in it. Everyone in the room sweatdrops at the scene.
"Oh well..." The rat shrugs as All Might sweatdrops.
"Is...that even allowed, Nedzu? I mean, he's supposed to observe the examiners." All Might says as the rat, Nedzu shrugs.
"Let him be, he has been busy with the constant raids these few months," Nedzu says as All Might merely nods. "So, mind explaining what's healing you?"
"I still wonder how you recover from such injuries. Whoever did it is a miracle worker." The old lady says as All Might merely chuckles.
"Oh, you have no idea. I won't tell you how since it's a promise I plan to keep, not to reveal anything. But, I can tell you who did it. It's one of the hero course students." All Might says as everyone seems interested, including Aizawa, who subtly listens as he tries to sleep.
"...whoever they are, they will be my retirement plan." The old lady mutters while tightly gripping her syringe. All Might merely sweatdrops at her.
"Oh, I suggest you all keep a close eye on today's exam." All Might says with a large grin. "I bet you'll find some interesting kids you'll love to meet."
"Oh?" Nedzu seems to be interested as he spots a small grin. "And would you be so kind as to drop some clues?"
"Nope," All Might says with a grin. "You'll know them once you see them."
Meanwhile
A boy with a raven head can be seen walking towards the giant building shaped like H. He stares at the giant building for a moment before letting out a sigh.
"What's the matter, Fumi!?" The boy's eyes twitch before a shadow shaped like a raven with a pair of giant claws emerges from his body. "Don't tell me you're nervous. You have done so many preparations for today!"
"You are mistaken, Dark Shadow. I was...merely letting everything sink into my mind. I would never believe I was taking an exam for entering the world's greatest hero exam." The boy replies.
"Bah, you're overthinking it! With me at your side, I'll make sure to crush the exam." Dark Shadow exclaims excitedly.
"And that is what I fear, your arrogance." The boy says as Dark Shadow guffawed.
"Hey, this is no arrogance, Fumikage! This is a fact! With our combined strength, we will-!" Suddenly, Dark Shadow froze Fumikage froze as well, feeling the overwhelming fear from Dark Shadow. He has been with Dark Shadow since birth and he never felt his emotions. To make it shocking, his emotion is just pure fear.
"D-Dark Shadow...w-what's going-!?" Tokoyami saw his partner stare at someone, and the fear intensified. Dark Shadow turns his head, tears escaping from his eyes. "D-Dark Shadow...?"
"S-scary..." This surprised Fumikage. Dark Shadow had never been so meek in his life, even when he was exposed to his weakness.
"W-what so scary...?" Fumikage tries to be as gentle as possible, knowing that if he doesn't, it might be trouble.
"H-him..." Dark Shadow points at a certain figure, a green haired boy that could be mistaken to be an adult due to his height. Fumikage doesn't understand why that boy makes Dark Shadow scared until he sees the boy himself.
He can see it; the black miasma flows out of him, the overwhelming pressure from just his presence. Not to mention, the many eyes in the boy's shadow. It feels like tons of figures staring right at his soul.
"W-what...?" Fumikage mutters in fear.
"T-the dark lord, Fumi! Those stories you read in your book, and the internets aren't just random bullshit! It's real!!!" Dark Shadow squawks. "It's the boy! A dark lord in disguise!!"
"T-the dark lord...?" Fumikage mutters in awe and fear. He was a fool, believing that he possessed the power of a dark lord when said dark lord was in front of him. He believes that even if the dark lord grants him strength, he doubts that he'll survive.
He has done a grave sin and lives in a grand delusion. He would do anything to rectify his mistake. And to do so, he would be the dark lord's subordinate.
With Izuku
Sneeze!!
"Bless you." Izuku rubs his nose in annoyance. He felt someone had just talked behind his back, and he didn't know who.
"So, nervous?" Izuku looks at Ochako who smiles at him.
"Nope. We face things worse than exams." Izuku says with a grin as Eijirou laughs.
"True! I think my experience with the goblins is still in my top scariest moment." Eijirou jokes.
"For me, it's still Undine." Ochako giggles.
"Guys, don't joke about those." Izuku sighs exasperatedly, causing the two of them to chuckle sheepishly.
"Ah, sorry..." Ochako says.
"Yeah, that was completely uncalled for," Eijirou says.
"..." Izuku brought them into a huge hug, surprising them. Ochako seemed to get redder as she felt Izuku's biceps wrapped around her neck.
"Let's crush this exam and celebrate through some barbeque, okay!?" Izuku says excitedly as the two of them smile and give him a wide grin.
"Yeah!" They say in unison as they chuckle together. Meanwhile, a familiar ash blond-haired boy stares in the distance, noticing Izuku and gnashing his teeth together in anger.
"Deku..."
