This one snuck up on me...
Might have dreamt this one and just had to give it a go.
Let's let a tiny terror have her round... Or another round given it's Neo.
What can I say? I'm a sucker for her and her story.
NO!
It was too late. She wasn't fast enough…
Ceramic shards scattered just out of the reach of her diving fingertips as she scraped against the floor. Oh, she hoped Mama and Papa didn't hear that.
Their game had gotten a little too intense. Neo had accidentally smacked into the vase while playing tag after backflipping to avoid her friend's tag. She leapt as fast as she could, but it was too late…
In an instant, her world shattered just like the vase before her.
The floor was not lava. It was hard. Unforgiving. Made of the finest redwoods from the Forever Fall forest…
Neopolitan covered her mouth with both hands, her mismatched eyes shimmering. She dove and ducked into the shadows, disappearing behind the pile of wrapped and ribboned boxes of various shapes.
Her birthday gifts…
"Gah! That's bad! Trivia!" Her other friend's voice echoed, and she felt him grasping her wrist and pulling her down. "I heard footsteps! Hide!"
Trivia's eyes flickered despondently, her friend guiding her to the sofa as thunderous footsteps descended. She was small enough to fit underneath… Just barely.
Thank you! Trivia nodded to her friend as she ducked under as he sprinted away, grimacing, for as soon as he left, her Papa's slippers came into her view. This was bad! She couldn't be caught! She was supposed to be in bed! And not only would he suspect she was trying to sneak a peek at her gifts…
But now…
"She broke the Akaibara vase." Papa's disappointed sigh sent a shiver down her spine.
She didn't mean to disappoint him further… She wished she could make Papa happy for once…
"Trivia?" Mama called out, knowing she was there. "Where are you? Come on, honey… We're not mad."
"Maybe you're not." She could hear Papa's scowl.
"Jim, enough!" Mama hissed.
Trivia folded further beneath the sofa. She hoped her friends would be…
Would that be so bad? Then she could finally…
She gasped, her hand recoiling as something sharp cut into her. A shard of the vase?! Under here?!
"Trivia, please…" Her mother's concerned voice echoed. "Jimmy, I'll check the other rooms. She's scared and could have scampered away."
No! Trivia's eyes glistened. Mama wasn't mad… If it was just Papa who found her…
Gently sticking out her hand from underneath the sofa, Trivia winced as she tried to crawl out. She wanted Mama to find her. At least then…
A rasping breath escaped from her as a firm grip wrapped around her ankles. Scraping against the floor, she was yanked from behind, her hands burning as she fought the pull.
But it didn't matter as she now dangled in her father's grasp, her brown tulle dress fluttering around her ankle, almost obscuring her vision of her father's face.
His expression gave nothing away. Calm and collected. It was the same face that served him well in all his years of serving as city manager for the Vale Council.
She could see through it… And the fury hidden within his shadowed eyes.
She tightly shut her eyes and covered her face with her hands. She didn't want Papa to be mad at her again…
He was gonna shake her again…
"Jim, let her down!" Mama's stern voice warned.
She felt a slight swing, and she wanted to scream. She wished she could…
But the landing was soft. Her eyes blinked open. The sofa?
Glancing up at her father, Papa softly exhaled, turning his head away. "I apologize, Carmel. I almost let my anger get the better of me."
"It's not me you should apologize to." Mama's voice was cold.
Trivia grimaced. She didn't want them to fight because of her…
Feeling Mama's gentle touch on her shoulders, her off-colored gaze glanced deeply into Mama's. "Can you tell us what happened?"
Shrinking from her mother's touch, Trivia's gaze bounced around the room. Where was Neo? Naruto? If they came out… She could finally prove…
Air rasped from her lips. No, they couldn't…
They were her imaginary friends. It's not like they were real…
"Neo."
"Neo."
Heterochromatic flickered as brilliant sunlight streamed through the veiled curtains into her eyes. That voice…
A satisfied smirk faintly spread on her lips, and she giggled, feeling the warmth of another pressed against her. She couldn't live without this…
"Good morning, handsome." Neo rolled into the warmth, gently caressing his face as she leaned into him and stared into his brilliant blue eyes. "Did I wake you?"
"Felt like you were having a nightmare. Wanted to make sure you were okay." Naruto leaned into her touch, her delicate, supple lips inviting him to join hers.
Eliciting a tender moan as his lips left hers, Neo laid bare as she leaned back into the bed pitifully. "Don't stop… I feel how happy you are to see me…"
"I wanna, believe me." Naruto sadly chuckled before exhaling. "But, you know how Sasuke gets. If we don't check in with him every month while we jumping to all these new worlds…"
Neo rolled her eyes, her lips pouting as she covered her ample bosom with her arms in disappointment. She didn't want him to burst in on them doing it… It was awkward the last time that happened…
"Needs someone better than Pinky to satisfy him…" Neo muttered and squinted at the thought of Sakura before devilishly grinning. "Perhaps we can go retrieve that Fire Witch for him? She satiated him. He tames her… We bust in on them fucking…"
"Ugh, I'd rather not imagine that!" Naruto squirmed and recoiled at the thought. "Now it's stuck in my head! Thanks!"
"Should have stuck it in me…" Neo flaunted as she rolled off the mattress, shaking her hips as she strolled to the bathroom tauntingly.
She could feel his eyes upon her, sending a shiver down her spine. She wanted him so… To have him turn her brain to mush …
Instead, she exhaled. She needed to have a clear mind… To make her imagination a reality.
A sliver of a smile graced her features. Ah, if her mother only knew her fiance was the boy she claimed to be her imaginary friend all those years ago…
Neo gasped as she felt a warm embrace wrap around her hips, pulling her tightly into his grasp. Her eyes flickered, accepting his touch and moaning in ecstasy as their lips locked.
She didn't want this ever to end…
"Think I'll join you in the shower." Naruto huskily whispered, causing her to shiver. "Take care of three things in one… Then ya can open up the door so we can return home."
Fervidly smirking, gently grasping Naruto's wrist and leading the way, Neo drug him into the bathroom with her.
That was a plan she could get behind.
One more in the books, hope ya enjoyed it!
Let me know if you liked this one or any of the others before it.
The more I hear from ya, the more I know which one's ya like!
Right now, I plan to debut at least one of the concept's first chapter after I finish the first Volume 2 of Guiding Light.
If you really want to see a concept get turned into a full story, gotta say something!
But for now, I hope you have a good and I'll see ya next time.
Peace.
