So this idea doesn't have a confirmed ship yet.

It could go from any single ship to a polyamorous ship with several RWBY characters.

It will likely be decided if it every gets a full release.

So let's get onto the concept of Kingdom.

Edit: This may end up connecting to the Autumn Leaves concept, so also drop a comment if that is what you like to see or if you would like to see a different direction.

This was a first.

In all his experience, this genuinely caught him off guard, and he had to fight multiple people who could transport people through dimensions or who had trapped him within them. …Or suspended him in time.

He concluded that somehow he had been trapped in another dimension again after checking that this starry void was not an illusion. Had to check… He didn't sense anything…

But it was strange. He didn't even feel his chakra in this realm. It was like something was restricting it.

"Well, this sucks," Naruto muttered, glancing around at the flickering stars around him, strolling through what felt like an endless void. "Don't even remember someone attempting such a thing on me… How did I get here?"

"That would be me."

The starry void stretched and wrapped around him. He felt his stomach churn despite being more than able to keep up with the movements. It just had a tingling sensation… Warping of reality could do a number on him…

Now standing on a metallic platform, wispy stars floated around him, curiously observing him. Naruto frowned as they danced around him before scattering as he attempted to touch one. "Are these… Souls?"

"Where am I?" Naruto turned to a presence he could feel, hearing the striking of metal on metal.

His eyes fell upon a broad and tall woman using a hammer on a workbench. But this woman wasn't typical. Her outer frame was metallic in nature, but her core… Was filled with tree roots.

This appearance did not bother Naruto as he stepped toward her, observing her actions as she continued to strike her hammer against the anvil on her workbench, but couldn't determine what she was working on from this angle. "So you are a blacksmith…"

"You may call me that." Her voice hummed, her focus intent on the craft before her. "I apologize for bringing you here so unceremoniously… But I wished to speak with you."

"So you brought me here…" Naruto murmured, frowning but continued to act cordially.

She didn't seem like she brought him here with malicious intentions. So there had to be something more to this.

"What is that you wish to discuss?" Naruto asked as the blacksmith continued to work. "I don't want to offend, but I have family back home. Bringing me here against my will… Well, I hope you can understand."

"I do. I apologize for doing so. I, however, need someone like yourself." The Blacksmith finished her work, leaving it on the anvil as she finally turned to face her guest. "I bring you here with a heavy heart on what I must ask you… May take all of that away. A world near and dear to me faces an inevitable crisis… I fear the heroines of this story are not ready to handle such a task."

Squinting as he listened to her, Naruto really didn't like hearing that he could lose everything he had worked so hard for. There was still so much to do… He still had to deal with Kawaki if Boruto hadn't…

That was something he wasn't looking forward to…

"Mah, don't want to dampen your hopes, but I've got enough issues back home to sort out." Naruto rubbed the back of his neck while grimacing. "I understand another world hangs in the balance… I would like to help out, but my home is in jeopardy, and I should be handling that. My precious people are there, which is more important to me."

"I understand." The Blacksmith nodded, a small, sad smile on her otherwise hollow face. "May I show you something?"

Extending her hand toward Naruto, he scowled momentarily. He felt she would attempt to convince him to choose differently, but his mind was made up. His mind was made up.

But it wouldn't hurt to listen to this lady's words. She was the one who held the power to send him back home.

Naruto accepted the gesture, and the unsettling feeling of the world warping around him occurred again. But instead of a starry night…

He was back home? Wait… What was going on? Was that…

"You are currently in a state of flux." The Blacksmith held out her hand and motioned toward his body, a single figure leaning down to check his pulse and grimacing. "You have perished… But through your and your son's actions… The crisis of your world has been averted."

"The threat to your world… Is finally over." She calmly folded her hands before her, watching as Naruto's son attempted to try CPR, refusing to give up.

"Come on… Don't you give up on me, Dad! You're stronger than this!" Boruto desperately called out to him as Naruto watched the events unfold.

"I do not wish to tear this away from you," The Blacksmith continued, her head solemnly hanging. "Your family loves you… Your world idolizes you for what you have done for it. You are a hero unlike many others… But…"

Reality shifted once more, his eyes adjusted to what seemed like a battlefield.

"This is the world of Remnant."

Swarms of hell-spawned creatures attacked and mauled what he could only assume were civilians. Soldiers desperately fought against the tide, but they were severely outnumbered.

And at the center, a pale woman with black clothing cackled as the creatures swarmed portals around her. As if by magic, she held up for objects before her, a devilish smirk as her voice expressed satisfaction. "Finally! It is time… I will not be denied any longer!"

"No!" A young girl with red highlights in her head stumbled through the swarm, her silver eyes glowing, and a wave of silver light emitted from her, disintegrating all the creatures before her yet leaving all her comrades untouched.

A barrier formed around the woman as she looked amused as a tinkling of gold and purple light began to shine in the crimson skies above. "Your feeble attempts to stop me have amounted to nothing… The end is here!"

Naruto winced as the world erupted in a golden and purple flash before he felt reality warping back, and he was within the void once more, standing in front of the Blacksmith and her workbench. But two massive wooden doors were erected behind her.

"I will not force anything upon you." The Blacksmith spoke plainly, her hollow eyes staring straight into Naruto's and feeling like they were piercing into his soul.

"The door on the left will take you back home," She announced. "I will grant you your life once more. You will live the rest of your life in relative peace and comfort. No longer will you have to worry about otherworldly threats to your home, and only the day-to-day grind will be your only obstacle. But you will live with your loving wife and adoring daughter and pass on your legacy to your son."

"On the right, the unknown awaits you. A world in peril." She continued, gesturing to the right door. "Nothing is set in stone. A path left unforged… A world in desperate need of a leader of your caliber to unite them. A small group of heroes and heroines who, on their own, will fail without proper guidance and a helping hand… And reunite with an old friend to accomplish this task."

Gazing at the two doors, trepidation filled every fiber of his body. He wanted nothing more than to spend his life happily alongside Hinata… To see his children blossom and take the mantle from him.

On the other side, his desire and urge to defend those in need cried out to him. The people in that world were in desperate need of help…

"Gah, you didn't make this easy, ya know?" Naruto groaned in frustration and frazzled his hair. "I don't want to leave my family behind… But I can't just leave people to suffer either!"

The Blacksmith only stared in wait, knowing the difficulty of the choices she had given him. There was no wrong decision.

"If I were to accept such an offer…" Naruto muttered after minutes of silence, the hue of his eyes dimming. "I understand I would have passed on, and there is no way back… But how can I guarantee their safety with me gone? …They are my world."

"There is no guarantee I can deliver to you." The Blacksmith honestly responded. "What I can say is your home has established a balance that is rare for worlds I've created to achieve through your efforts and the efforts of your son. It could be a short peace. It could be a peace that lasts for eons… It depends on their choices. But I feel confident there will be a long-standing peace for quite some time."

"Created?" Naruto's eyes shimmered, recognizing the truth behind her worlds. "Are you…"

"Yes, my child." The Blacksmith answered without hesitation. "I crafted everything that has led to all these possibilities, whether it was a direct result of my work or effects made by choices of my creations."

Left stunned by the woman before him momentarily, his gaze fell back onto the two doors. The building headache he had been suffering waned before he grimaced, stepping toward the door on the left or making his way home.

And then, letting out a frustrated yell, Naruto glared back at the Blacksmith. "You know I can't say no, dammit! If my family and friends are safe, what choice do I have? I can't just let people suffer if I have the capacity to help! There is no choice in this matter!"

"Are you sure that is the decision you want to make?" The Blacksmith asked, standing before the torn Hokage.

"No! I want to be home!" Naruto bellowed as he stepped toward the right before he hung his head. "But if it was my time to go… Why should my selfishness make others suffer?"

"So I'm going over there and gonna show them just who I am and fix this problem." Naruto snarled, clenching his hands. "But from the looks of things, I may be late…"

"No, you will not be." The Blacksmith reached toward the item on her anvil and grasped it, gently handing it over to Naruto. "When you step through this door, it will take you precisely to when you need to arrive and not a moment sooner or later."

Begrudgingly accepting the object and gazing down upon it, Naruto tilted his head awkwardly. "A pocket watch? So this is what's going to take me back in time?"

"No," The Blacksmith responded, almost in amusement. "It is going to rewind time for yourself. To bring you back to your prime."

"Hey, I'm still plenty strong, ya hear!" Naruto retorted bitterly before grimacing. "Yeah, I wasn't at my peak after having to sit behind that desk… It's my fault I lost my friend for not being strong enough on my own…"

Outstretching her arm once more, a twinkling light descended from the starry sky and gently lowered into her palm. She held the glowing orb before Naruto, and despite her hollow gaze, he felt a warmness to them. "I did say you would reunite with an old friend… He's been waiting for you."

And the golden light flickered as Naruto kept his gaze on it. It felt so familiar…

Been a while, hasn't it, kid?

"Kurama?" Naruto reached for the orb before embracing it. "You bastard! You weren't supposed to be the one who gave up your life! It was always meant to be me!"

"You think I was gonna let that happen?! After everything we've been through! You have a family… And this is the dumbest decision you've made, brat!"

"Yeah, I know…" Naruto flinched from Kurama's scolding before his gaze turned toward the door. "But you know me…"

"Better than anyone else… So let's get wild, shall we?"

With a bright golden light as the door began to open, Naruto nodded as he walked into the light and faded away within. "Yeah, got one more job to do…"

"And I'm glad to have you with me one last time."

I hope you enjoyed this concept!

If you like it and want to see more, you got to let me know.

With how some of the last few have turned out, I really need to see the needle move on some of these.

So until next time my friends,

Peace.
