This is also a Genshin Impact crossover that involves Mavuika.
Before I even got to her picture, I was already building a story where Naruto and Yang were her parents and they were stranded in the Genshin world.
So, here is the concept of that story.
Time is not linear.
The past, present, and future exist simultaneously. Humanity may live in the present and be bound by fate, but each past experience is a valuable lesson. Throughout our journey, it molds us into who we become.
Oh? That is my family portrait. Yes, I'm sure you know this already, but unlike the Archons from the other nations, I became the Pyro Archon despite being mortal. This photo represents the roads I traveled and the journey I am still on.
Oh, you say my father looks familiar? And my mother? Ha, that does not surprise me. You have. He came with you on your way here with the Traveler. And the young lady you met on your way here is my mother.
Surprised? I'm sure you are, but that is why I said time isn't linear…
Do you want to hear their story? It's a long one, Kachina. Are you sure you wish to listen to it before you descend into the Night Kingdom? …Very well. I can start the tale, but I cannot tell you everything. Why?
Because the journey is still unfolding, you play a role in it. It would ruin the surprise if I told you all of it.
He felt nauseous. His world spun, and his stomach knotted. He was utterly exhausted—more than at any other point in his life. But given what he had been through, that was to be expected.
But where was he?
He groaned as he attempted to move. He felt the bandages wrapping his bruised and battered body. He winced as his eyes traveled down to his right arm. Or lack thereof. Still, someone had managed to patch him up, and he was thankful for that… But this structure wasn't familiar to him. Everything was blurry, but he could see that much.
In fact, he didn't sense anyone familiar… Besides Kurama. But he would be highly alarmed if he hadn't sensed the fox resting peacefully within. But why didn't he sense anyone he knew here…
And where was Sasuke? Wasn't he…
"Oh, you're awake!"
"Ah! Too loud!" Naruto shot up, holding his temples and grimacing. It took a moment to regather himself and shake the blur from his sight, but sitting before him was a child. A young girl… With enormous, fluffy ears? …Okay. Not the strangest thing he had seen before.
"I'm sorry!" The girl flinched before clamping her mitten-covered hands over her mouth. She then settled down, and her head dropped. "I wasn't expecting you to be awake yet, so I was surprised… I'm really sorry."
Seeing the sullen look on the young girl, Naruto thinly smiled to ease the tension. She was clearly nervous, although he wasn't sure why. Instead, he looked around, gauging his circumstances before looking back at her. "Nah, you're okay… Everything is still a little loud, and I have no idea where I am, so sorry I snapped…"
"I'm not surprised." Another voice made themselves known. Naruto turned to see a young woman wearing a white tailcoat over a pink tank top with a green heart strolling through the entrance of the building. She knelt beside Naruto, intently examining him, and a frown developed on her features. "Curious. With the wounds you had when Kachina brought you to me, I hadn't expected you to wake so soon… Or recover so quickly."
"Aha, I've always recovered quickly. I'm actually surprised I'm recovering as slowly as I am… I usually feel better than this when I wake up." Naruto chuckled as he scratched the back of his head.
He saw the woman's frown deepen as her gaze met his. But before he could say anything, she shook her head and sat back but focused squarely on him. "So I can see… But regardless of such recovery, I wish to know why you were so reckless when the Abyss was involved."
"The valley we found you in nearly collapsed. If it weren't for Kachina finding you and rescuing you from the scourge of the Abyss, you would have been buried in the rubble or worse." Chuychu sternly glared at Naruto in a disapproving manner. He tilted his head awkwardly, unsure what she meant, but continued to listen. "So, if you would kindly explain your stupidity, I would like to assess the situation so we can act accordingly."
"The Abyss has been growing stronger, and we need to be ready."
What was going on?
Where was everyone? Where was she? What were these wolves?! Why were they so aggressive?!
Gnashing her teeth, eyes filled with fire snarled. Cracking her left fist, a golden gauntlet clicked into place as a flaming aura shimmered around her. But she waited patiently. Without her right arm, she wasn't as proficient in combat. She needed them to come to her and exploit their aggression. Punish them for attacking her.
"Come on… What are you waiting for?" She hissed, her eyes burning.
She didn't have to wait much longer. It lunged with its teeth bared and claws lunging forward. She effortlessly avoided the bite and slash and with a single strike to its head, a thud echoed throughout the canyon. The wolf grunted as it burned away and faded to shadows.
Her features contorted. Even as another slid past her, somehow getting behind her, she evaded and struck once more. The combustion of her punch set the creature and fire and it howled, but just like the other, it faded into wisps of shadows…
Were these wolves a new kind of Grimm?
With one last strike, the last of the wolves faded to obscurity and gave her a moment to breathe and take in her surroundings. Heavily breathing, she wiped the sweat from her brow, stepping forward to gather more information, carefully monitoring the strange creatures she had never seen before. Was that a dinosaur? Where was she?
Traversing the grassy plain, the fiery blonde glowered as she found herself at the edge of a cliff after a short trek. The view of the valley was gorgeous… Mystical in nature. Strange stones she had never seen before. It was all beautiful scenery. One she would normally be enraptured with if it wasn't for the circumstances.
"Where am I?" Those words left her lips as she scanned the terrain, her heart skipping a beat as she took in the majestic scenery. How was she even here? How was she alive?
And where was everyone?
"I hope they got out safely." She muttered, flicking her left hand through her luxurious bangs as she looked into the distance. This place was unknown to her, so if she could find other people, she could maybe find her way back home.
"It's my only chance to get back…" Yang stared upon the horizon, charting her journey and preparing for the travel she had ahead of her. "Don't worry, girls… I'll be back soon, and we'll get this all sorted out once and for all."
"Heh, maybe I can finally get a moment alone with Blake."
I hope you enjoyed this concept.
Like always, I enjoy hearing from ya. If you would like to see more of this, do let me know. The more I hear back, the better chance this story becomes more than a concept.
But until next time my friends, Peace.
