Chapter 50: Celebration
The journey back to Konoha was filled with quiet reflection and the occasional light-hearted conversation. They moved with purpose, knowing the importance of the task ahead. When they finally reached the village gates, a wave of nostalgia washed over specifically Son Goku. Konoha stood tall and proud, the memories of battles fought and friendships forged within its walls.
Their first stop was the Hyuga compound. As they approached, Hinata felt a mix of anticipation and apprehension. Goku sensed her unease and squeezed her hand reassuringly. "You ready, Hinata?"
Hinata nodded. "Hai. Let's do this."
Inside the compound, Hiashi and Hanabi awaited them. The former's stern face softened slightly upon seeing his daughter. "Hinata, Son Goku. Welcome."
Hinata stepped forward, embracing her father. "Tou-san, I've missed you."
Hiashi's voice was gentle. "And I you, Hinata."
Hanabi, standing beside her father, grinned. "Hinata-nee! It's good to see you! And you too, Goku."
Goku leaned against the wall, his posture relaxed but his eyes alert. "Hey, Hanabi. Hey, Hiashi."
Hiashi's gaze shifted to Goku, a hint of respect in his eyes. "I can see you have taken good care of my daughter."
Goku smiled sheepishly. "I try my best."
Hinata, sensing the need to address the reason for their abrupt visit, spoke up. "Tou-san, I've been invited alongside Goku to train with Kami. It's an opportunity I can't pass up. But I want you to know, this decision is mine. Goku isn't forcing me or influencing me to go."
Hiashi nodded thoughtfully. "I understand, Hinata. You have always been strong-willed, and I respect your decision. But Goku," he said, turning to the Saiyan, "I must ask you to promise me something."
Goku straightened, his expression serious. "I'm listening."
Hiashi's voice was firm. "Promise me you will keep Hinata safe. And that one day before I get too old to care, that you return to this village and deliver me grandchildren. This is a nonnegotiable order."
Goku's eyes widened in surprise, but he nodded earnestly. "I promise, Hiashi. I'll protect Hinata with everything I've got. And we'll come back... and the grandchildren thing... "
Hanabi, always the tease, piped up. "And make sure those grandchildren are as strong as you two!"
Hinata blushed slightly but laughed. "Hanabi!"
Hiashi's stern facade cracked, and he allowed a small smile. "Very well. You have my blessings. But remember, Hinata, this village will always be your home."
Hinata embraced her father once more, her heart full. "Thank you, tou-san. I will make you proud."
As they prepared to leave, Akamaru bounded into the room, barking happily.
Hinata knelt down, scratching behind his ears. "Akamaru, would you like to come with us?" The animal wagged his tail furiously, licking her face and warming everyone's hearts.
Hiashi watched the scene with a fond smile. "It seems Akamaru is ready for the journey as well."
Goku chuckled, reaching down to pat Akamaru's head. "Looks like we've got another travel companion."
Hanabi watched the interaction with a playful smirk. "Hinata, you better not let Goku hog all the adventures. Remember to write us sometimes too."
Hinata nodded, her expression serious but warm. "I will, Hanabi. I'll keep you updated on everything."
Hiashi's gaze softened as he looked at his daughters. "Hinata, your mother would be proud of the woman you've become. And Son Goku," he said, turning to the Saiyan once more, "you have proven yourself worthy of our respect. Take care of each other."
Goku bowed slightly, his usual carefree demeanor tempered with sincerity. "Thank you, Hiashi. I think we'll be back pretty soon."
Hanabi stepped closer, her tone a mix of teasing and genuine concern. "So, nee-chan, are you ready for this? Training with someone named Kami of all things sounds intense."
Hinata smiled. "I'm ready, Hanabi. I owe it to myself to see just how high I can go."
Goku, still leaning against the wall, added, "And I'll be right there with her, making sure she doesn't overdo it."
Hanabi laughed. "Good luck with that. Hinata can be pretty stubborn when she sets her mind to something."
Hinata playfully nudged her sister. "Look who's talking, Miss 'I can do it all by myself.'"
Hiashi watched his daughters with a proud expression. "Hinata, you have always had a strong spirit, even when I had my misinformed moments of trying to break you. This journey will test you, but I have no doubt you will succeed."
Hinata felt a surge of gratitude. "Thank you, tou-san. Your support means a lot to me."
As they prepared to leave, Akamaru barked excitedly, ready for the adventure ahead.
Hiashi walked them to the gates of the compound, his voice filled with emotion. "Remember, Hinata, no matter where you go, this will always be your home. We will be here, waiting for your return."
Hinata embraced her father one last time. "I will remember, tou-san. I'll be back, stronger and better than ever."
Lee, Ino, Shikamaru, and Neji gathered in the village square, ready to say goodbye to their friends and comrades from Sunagakure.
Gaara, Chi-Chi, and Temari stood waiting, along with several other villagers who had come to see them off. The atmosphere was charged with a mixture of pride, gratitude, and the sadness that comes with parting.
Shikamaru stepped forward, his hands in his pockets, addressing the crowd with a calm, collected demeanor. "Everyone, we've completed our mission here. The rebuild of Sunagakure is a success, and it's time for us to return to Konoha."
The villagers murmured among themselves, acknowledging the efforts of the Konoha shinobi. Gaara stepped forward, his expression one of solemn gratitude. "Shikamaru, Lee, Ino, Neji, thank you. Without your help, this would not have been possible."
Lee, now christened as the Black Fist of Konoha, nodded seriously. "It was our honor, Gaara. We couldn't stand by and just watch the people suffer. Additionally, we will try to get Goku to deliver another gravity room to the village to aid in your training and defense. We'll make sure you have what you need to continue growing stronger."
Neji stepped forward, his gaze steady. "Thank you for helping me find a new sense of purpose. This mission has given me clarity I thought I had lost."
Gaara placed a hand over his heart. "You have shown valor, amnesty, and effort that I cannot repay. Your contributions will never be forgotten so long as this village exists."
Chi-Chi, standing beside Gaara, spoke next. "My new purpose is to ensure the restaurant Goku and I dreamt of becomes the best in the world. And between that and training people in martial arts, those are my two passions. I can't afford to leave Suna because of that and also my original family being gone... this is my home now."
She then looked up at Gaara, her eyes filled with warmth. "And I can't leave you, either."
Gaara's expression remained stoic, yet his eyes softened. "I was hoping you would stay and build your future here... by my side."
Chi-Chi's heart fluttered, but she managed a playful grin. "I was thinking of bringing the CEO of the restaurant back to Suna, marrying him, and having two kids named Gohan and Goten, but—"
Gaara silenced her with a kiss, a bold and unexpected move that caught everyone off guard. When he pulled back, he spoke with calm assertiveness. "That may have happened in a separate timeline. In this timeline however, I intend to be your man."
Chi-Chi, momentarily stunned, cupped his cheeks and kissed him back. "You're right. I want to be with you now. Goku is happy somewhere else and I am willing to give you my all, Gaara-kun."
The crowd, including Ino and Shikamaru, watched in astonishment. The blonde whispered to Shikamaru, "I can't believe we're seeing this from the man who killed Choji the way he did. It's... asinine, blasphemous, all of those words and more."
Shikamaru nodded, his usual composure shaken. "Yeah, it's something else."
Gaara, with Chi-Chi by his side, created a nimbus cloud under their feet. He addressed the group one last time. "Thank you again for everything. Permanent amnesty is granted, and statues of your group will be constructed soon."
With that, Gaara and Chi-Chi rode off on the cloud, leaving the crowd in awe. Ino and Lee exchanged a glance, both thinking about their own future aspirations.
Ino sighed dreamily. "I'd love to do something like that one day."
Lee, his expression calm but serious, nodded. "Me too, Ino-chan."
Shikamaru chuckled and turned to Neji and the other two. "You guys go wait by the village exits. I need some time to properly say goodbye to Temari."
Temari smirked, grabbing Shikamaru's hand and pulling him toward a private location. "Come on. Let's make sure you remember me before you leave."
She led him to a secluded area behind one of the twelve domed capsule homes that marked the original residencies of the new Suna half a year ago. The darkening sky cast a soft glow over the sand, creating a serene and private setting.
Temari turned to Shikamaru. "So, are you going to miss me?"
Shikamaru sighed, leaning against the wall of the dome. "Of course I will. You're the most troublesome woman I've ever met."
Temari raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on her lips. "Troublesome? That's all you have to say?"
Shikamaru chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "You know what I mean. You're always challenging me, pushing me to be better. It's... refreshing."
Temari stepped closer, her hand tracing his jawline. "And here I thought you liked things easy and boring."
Shikamaru's gaze softened. "Maybe I do, but you make the trouble worth it."
Temari's smirk widened. "Good answer."
She leaned in, capturing his lips in a passionate kiss. Shikamaru responded with equal fervor, his hands finding their way to her waist. After a moment, they pulled back, both slightly breathless.
Shikamaru sighed. "You really know how to keep things interesting, don't you?"
Temari laughed softly. "It's a gift. Now, are you ready for your send-off present?"
Shikamaru raised an eyebrow. "Send-off present?"
Temari's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Follow me."
Goku, Hinata, and Akamaru walked through the bustling streets of Konoha, making their way towards the Hokage Office. The village was alive with activity, shinobi and villagers alike going about their day. The atmosphere was one of cautious optimism, a stark contrast to the darker times they had recently endured over the last two years.
They entered the tower and made their way to Tsunade's office. The Hokage was seated at her desk, her eyes focused and also exhausted upon looking at a stack of documents. She glanced up as they entered, a smile breaking across her face. "Son Goku, Hinata, it's good to see you both. And Akamaru too."
Hinata bowed respectfully. "Tsunade-sama, thank you for seeing us."
Tsunade motioned for them to sit. "Of course. I understand you have important information to share. Please, go ahead."
Hinata took a deep breath and began recounting the events of their recent battles. "Tsunade-sama, our journey has been intense. We faced Piccolo Daimao and his forces, and the battles were fierce. One of the key moments was when Obito Uchiha stole the Dragon Balls from me as I tried to wish back the lives we lost."
Tsunade's expression darkened. "Obito... Even in death, his influence lingers."
Hinata continued, her voice steady. "Piccolo Daimao was relentless. He killed me, and Goku... Goku killed him in retaliation. It was during that battle that Goku transformed, becoming the truly apparent teenager you see now and not the child-like teenager from over a year ago when he was last here. His power surged, and he avenged me."
As Hinata spoke, Goku's eyes began to glow with a fierce yellow light, his rage palpable. The Hokage Tower shook with vigor as he fought to control his emotions.
She placed a calming hand on his arm, her touch gentle but firm. "Goku-kun, it's okay. I'm here."
Goku took a deep breath, his eyes returning to normal. "Whew. Thanks, Hinata."
Hinata continued, her voice softening. "Nagato used the Rinne Tensei to revive those who had died, including me. It was his way of making amends. The Akatsuki has been disbanded by force, and Nagato, Konan, and Itachi are actively remaking it in a new image, one focused on peace."
Tsunade nodded thoughtfully. "This is significant. The Akatsuki was a major threat. If they are truly working towards peace now, it changes the landscape."
Hinata then explained their decision to meet Kami. "Goku and I have been invited to train with Kami. It's an opportunity we simply cannot ignore."
Tsunade raised an eyebrow. "Kami? Literally God? That's quite an honor. Do you have any idea how long this training will take?"
Goku and Hinata exchanged a glance before Goku spoke. "Honestly, we dunno. Kami just wants to meet us, and that's all we got."
Tsunade sighed but then smirked. "Well, Goku, you've pretty much become a Sannin in everything but title at this point. The Turtle Sage if you will."
Goku laughed, scratching his head. "Turtle Sage, huh?"
Hinata grinned. "I guess that makes me the student of the Turtle Sage. I'll have to work extra hard."
Tsunade's smirk grew wider. "Just don't let it get to your heads. With Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi around, Konoha is the strongest village by far. But it's always good to have you two in our corner."
As they talked, Tsunade revealed a plan that Naruto had convinced her to undertake. "Naruto insisted on throwing another huge party. This time, with Piccolo Daimao gone, it should go without a hitch. It will begin the day after Shikamaru and his team return from Suna."
Goku's expression turned serious. "A demon son of Piccolo Daimao named Snare destroyed their village in a fight with Lee."
Tsunade nodded, pulling out a scroll from one of her many drawers. "I've been kept in the know through messenger hawks over the past half year. Sunagakure is being rebuilt, thanks in no small part to your efforts, Goku."
Goku looked relieved. "I'm glad to hear that. Those five months in the desert were rough, but it was worth it."
Hinata looked at Goku, a hint of curiosity in her eyes. "Is that what kept you from coming back to me, Goku?"
Goku shuddered slightly, his eyes distant. "Yeah, it was a big part of it. Over five months in that blistering desert without food for long stretches... It even got to me sometimes. But I'm glad I was there to help."
Tsunade chuckled. "It seems the messenger hawks saved you the trouble of explaining everything. Thank you, Goku, for being the blessing that you are to this world. Both of you continue to forge that path of peace."
Goku and Hinata nodded in acknowledgment. Tsunade's expression softened as she spoke again. "Whenever the Five Kage Summit happens, or if it ever does, you're more than welcome to show up on behalf of Konoha."
Goku grinned. "Thanks, Tsunade-sama. We'll keep that in mind."
Hinata smiled. "It's good to know we have your support."
Tsunade stood, signaling the end of their meeting. "Go on, get ready for your journey. And enjoy the party when it happens."
With a final nod, Goku, Hinata, and Akamaru left the Hokage Office.
"Shikamaru, before you leave, I want to make sure you never forget me."
"You're full of surprises, aren't you?"
"You have no idea."
The door to the bedroom slid open with a soft hiss. Shikamaru entered first, his gaze sweeping over the room before turning back to Temari. She followed, her movements graceful and purposeful, her eyes never leaving his.
As the door closed behind them, sealing them in their private haven, Temari seized the moment. She pushed Shikamaru against the wall, her hands gripping his wrists above his head. Her eyes blazed with a mixture of challenge and desire.
"Think you can keep up, Shika?" she teased, her voice a low purr.
Shikamaru's lips curled. "We're about to find out," he replied, his voice steady despite the quickening of his heartbeat.
With a swift, decisive movement, Temari pressed her body against his, her mouth capturing his in a fierce, demanding kiss. Shikamaru responded, their tongues dancing together in a heated battle for dominance. Temari's hands roamed over his body, her touch both commanding and tender.
Her hands roamed over his chest, their movements purposeful and insistent. She began to undress him, each piece of clothing seemingly vanishing into thin air, reappearing "neatly" folded across the room. Shikamaru responded in kind, his hands working to remove Temari's garments with equal fervor. As each article of clothing disappeared, the air grew thicker and thicker.
Temari broke the kiss, her breath hot against his ear. "Let's see what you've got," she murmured.
She guided Shikamaru to the bed, pushing him down onto the soft mattress. And then she straddled him, her eyes filled primal desire. Shikamaru lay back, his eyes never leaving Temari's as she leaned down, capturing his lips in another wet, lingering kiss. His hands roamed over her body, exploring every curve and dip with a deliberate slowness that sent shivers down her spine.
Suddenly, his power pole extended, pressing against Temari's chakra oasis with a teasing insistence. Temari helped his case and began to ride him, her movements slow and deliberate at first, savoring the growing friction between them. Each proceeding thrust sent waves of pleasure through their bodies, the sensation already overwhelming.
"Shikamaru..." Temari's voice was a whisper, a plea, as she wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him closer.
He responded with a low growl, his eyes darkening with primal desire. "Temari," he murmured. "Shut up."
With a shared look of determination, Temari began to hit the gas, riding at an increasing pace and tempo. She wanted to feel it more and more, much more. "Is that all you've got, Shikamaru?" she whispered, her voice filled with challenge as she increased her pace, grinding against him with a fierce intensity.
Shikamaru's hands found their way to her hips, guiding her movements with precision. "I said shut up," he replied, his voice steady despite the intensity of the moment. He matched her rhythm, each thrust of his power pole meeting the ever so tight yet soft resistance of her chakra oasis.
"This is cool," Shikamaru groaned, as his girlfriend continued to grind on him. "But it's time to turn the tables."
With a swift motion that belied his inexperience, Shikamaru flipped their positions, pinning Temari beneath him. His eyes locked onto hers, a determined smile playing on his lips. "My turn," he whispered, his voice filled with promise.
He entered her with a slow, deliberate thrust. Temari's breath hitched, her fingers gripping his shoulders as she stared up at him, their eyes locked in an intimate exchange. Shikamaru's movements were precise and powerful, each thrust deepening their connection.
Shikamaru's mouth descended to her neck, his lips tracing a path of kisses that sent shivers down her spine. Temari's head fell back, a soft moan escaping her lips as she clung to him, her body responding to his every move. The sensation was electric, the pleasure building with each penetration.
"Shikamaru..." Temari's voice was a breathless whisper, filled with awe and desire.
Shikamaru's eyes softened as he looked into her eyes. "Shut up, Temari," he murmured. And then he smirked. "I love you."
"I love you too," she replied, her voice trembling with intensity.
The highs were certainly starting to get to them and dominate their mental frameworks... their movements became more frenzied, the friction between them creating a powerful energy that resonated through their entire beings.
With renewed determination, they began to explore every trick in the book, despite their inexperience. Temari activated her Kamaitachi no Jutsu, her chakra swirling around them like a gentle breeze. The sensation added an extra layer of intensity to their movements, the wind enhancing the friction between their bodies and generating a cooling effect.
Shikamaru's Kagemane Jutsu guided Temari's movements with precision, their bodies moving together in a seamless dance of love and strategy. Each thrust of his power pole was met with the soft resistance of her chakra oasis as her breath came in ragged gasps, her fingers gripping Shikamaru's shoulders as she clung to him.
"Shikamaru... don't stop," she panted, her voice filled with pleasure.
"I won't," Shikamaru replied. "Let's see how far we can go."
Their bodies moved together with increasing intensity, the friction between them growing stronger with each movement. The sensation out of this world, the pleasure intensifying as they pushed their limits. Temari's chakra oasis responded to each thrust with a determined force, the Wind Scythe Jutsu adding an extra layer of sensation that drove them both wild as she began to take control. Her chakra oasis pressed against his power pole with an unrelenting, unruly pressure. She aimed to crush him.
"You're amazing, Temari," Shikamaru groaned, his voice filled with admiration and desire. "I can't believe this is our first time."
Temari responded with a breathless moan, her eyes locked onto Shikamaru's. "Neither can I, Shika-kun. But I want more."
As their connection deepened, Temari shifted into a new position, lying on her side and guiding Shikamaru to enter her from a different angle. The side insertion allowed for even deeper penetration, the friction between them growing stronger with each movement.
After a series of thrusts, attacks, gasps, and moments of euphoria, Shikamaru positioned Temari on her back, her head resting against the pillows. He moved up to her mouth, his power pole poised at her lips. Temari opened her mouth willingly, her oral healing chamber enveloping his fleshly power pole delicately.
Shikamaru's hands gently cupped the back of Temari's head, guiding her movements as she bobbed up and down. The sensation of her mouth and tongue around him was almost too much to bear, the friction creating an electric connection that resonated through his entire being. Her eyes watered slightly as she took Shikamaru even deeper, her mouth stretching to accommodate his growth and presence. The intensity of the moment nearly made her choke, but she pressed on. She looked up at Shikamaru, her eyes filled with trust and love, and he responded with a low growl of pleasure.
"Damn you're good," Shikamaru groaned, his voice strained with effort and desire. The sensation of her mouth around his pole drove him... drove him berserk, with his sharp mind somehow able to combat the animalistic emotion that threatened to overtake him.
Temari's movements grew even more intense, her mouth and tongue working in tandem. She was relentless, the increasing skill and variety of pace on her slurping of his member beating his ass more and more.
She grew stronger as the fight went on.
With a final, powerful thrust, Shikamaru's power pole extended deep into Temari's mouth. The sensation was electric, nearly making her choke, but she held on once again, her competitve spirit unshakable.
Shikamaru's body trembled with the intensity of the moment, his hands gripping Temari's head as he reached the peak of his power. With a primal growl, he released a powerful surge of energy, sending waves of euphoria through both of them. His life force guzzled out of the pole and into her mouth, leaking onto her lips in the process.
But their session wasn't over yet.
With a swift movement, Temari aggressively swallowed his fertilizer and then forcefully pushed her fatiguing opponent over, straddling Shikamaru's face as he lay back. It was her turn. His oral healing chamber promptly worked diligently, his mouth and tongue moving with precision to pressure her chakra oasis. The sensation was immediate and electric, each stroke of his tongue sending waves of pleasure through her body as...
She sat on his face.
Temari's hands gripped the headboard, her body trembling with the intensity of the sensation. "Shikamaru... oh Kami," she moaned, her voice filled with raw emotion. "You're incredible."
His tongue and lips moved with deliberate care, his oral healing chamber working to dampen her chakra oasis with a variety of strokes. Each movement was precise and intentional, targeting different spots with a mix of gentle and intense pressure.
Temari's breath hitched, her body responding to Shikamaru's touch with an overwhelming sensation of pleasure. "Shika," she gasped, her voice trembling with emotion. "Don't stop..."
"I won't," Shikamaru murmured, his voice steady despite the intensity of the moment. "Not for a second."
As the intensity of their connection reached its peak, Shikamaru's oral movements became even more precise and powerful. The friction between them was relentless, each lick, shake, and plunge driving her closer to the edge. The sensation of Temari's chakra oasis responding to his licks, combined with the heat and pressure, rendered him gobsmacked.
With a final, powerful slurp, Shikamaru brought Temari to the brink of climax. The sensation was overwhelming, sending waves of euphoria through both of them.
Despite this, Temari's breath came in short gasps, her eyes locked onto Shikamaru's with competitive stamina. "Is that all you've got?"
Shikamaru's smirk widened, his eyes gleaming. "Almost, Temari. Almost."
With that, the Nara pinned his woman against the wall, his hands gripping her wrists to their sides. The weight of his body pressed against hers, his power pole slowly but deeply attacking her chakra oasis. The friction between them was electric, each slow thrust creating waves of pleasure that coursed through their bodies.
With a slow movement, he flipped her around to face him, his gaze boring into hers. They stood there for a moment, their breaths mingling, the intensity of their connection sizzling. Slowly, Shikamaru leaned in, capturing Temari's lips in a deep, escalating kiss.
And then in a show of uncharacteristically dominating strength, Shikamaru picked Temari up, her legs wrapping and squeezing firmly around his waist as his member continued to slide back and forth inside the shafts of her chakra oasis and kiss her lovingly with sensual potency and control. The intensity of the moment left her breathless, her eyes widening in surprise as she clung to him.
"Shikamaru..." she gasped, her voice filled with awe.
Their bodies moved together with a relentless rhythm, the friction between them creating waves of euphoria that coursed through their beings. As their kisses persisted, Shikamaru's power pole reinserted itself lovingly into her chakra oasis again and again and again and again. The slow, deliberate thrusts created were quite simply the best of the night, as the Konoha shinobi held up the Suna kunoichi and smashed her.
Picked her up and destroyed her. Power-poled her down.
Temari's head fell back once more, her eyes closing as she lost herself in the moment. Her body arched against Shikamaru's, her breath coming in ragged gasps as she clung to his shoulders and wrapped around his neck for support as he delicately demolished her.
With a final, powerful release, they climaxed together, their bodies trembling with the intensity of their connection. Their cries of ecstasy echoed through the domed capsule bedroom, a testament to their powerful bond.
As the final tremors of their intense training subsided, Shikamaru and Temari held each other close, their bodies still trembling with the aftershocks. They lay together in the quiet aftermath, their breaths mingling as they whispered sweet nothings to one another.
Their bodies bore the marks of their passionate encounter—hickeys, bites, kisses, and lingering traces of their roughhousing. Temari's eyes closed as she rested her head on Shikamaru's chest, her body shivering with the aftershocks of their intense connection.
"That was... something else," Temari whispered. "Who knew a lazy genius had this much energy?"
Shikamaru chuckled, his eyes closing as he pulled her closer, feeling the warmth of her body against his. "You always manage to bring out the best in me," he replied, his voice a low murmur. "Troublesome woman, always pushing me beyond my limits."
Temari smiled, her head resting on his shoulder. "Well, someone has to keep you on your toes, don't they?" she teased, her tone gentle and loving.
Shikamaru's lips brushed against her forehead in a tender kiss. "And I wouldn't have it any other way," he said softly. "You might be the best thing that ever happened to me."
And thus, Temari made Shikamaru a man.
The underground base of ROOT was cold and dimly lit, a labyrinthine fortress hidden beneath the bustling streets of Konoha. This was where the clandestine operations of Danzo Shimura thrived, away from the prying eyes of the village. The air was thick with tension as Sasuke Uchiha, his Rinnegan glowing ominously, made his way through the winding corridors with a single-minded determination...
Kill that bastard.
Haku followed closely, her heart torn between her loyalty to Sasuke, her loyalty to her village, and her sense of justice.
As they approached the central chamber, the sound of voices echoed down the hall. Danzo was deep in conversation with the village elders, Koharu and Homura. Their tones were hushed but filled with urgency.
Sasuke stepped into the chamber, his presence immediately drawing their attention. "Danzo," he spat, his voice dripping with venom. "Your time is up."
Before Danzo could respond, his elite Anbu bodyguards, including Yugao in the form of Neko, Sai, Shin, Torune, Fu, and Yamato in the form of Tenzo, sprang into action. They formed a protective barrier around Danzo, their weapons drawn.
Neko, her cat-like mask reflecting the dim light, stepped forward. "Sasuke, stand down. We cannot allow you to harm Danzo."
Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "If you stand in my way, I'll go through you."
The battle erupted with blinding speed. Sasuke moved like a force of nature, his Sharingan and Rinnegan granting him unparalleled perception and power. Tenzo was the first to fall, incapacitated by a precise Chidori strike. Fu and Torune followed, their efforts to poison and trap Sasuke proving futile against his overwhelming strength.
Haku stood on the sidelines, her heart aching as she watched Sasuke cut down his opposition. She had always admired his strength and resolve, but this… this was different. This was blind rage.
Danzo, seeing his defenses crumble, attempted to flee, only to be cut off by Sasuke's Amaterasu flames, the black fire consuming his escape route. Desperation etched on his face, the elder quickly grabbed the downed Yugao, pressing a kunai to her throat.
"Stay back, Uchiha, or she dies."
Sasuke's hand crackled with the power of a Chidori. "I don't care. I'll go through her to get to you."
Haku's heart pounded in her chest. She couldn't let this happen. "Sasuke-kun, stop!" she shouted, stepping between him and Danzo. "Please, listen to me. This isn't you."
Sasuke's eyes flickered with confusion and rage. "Haku, move. This is my fight."
Haku's voice wavered but remained firm. "No, Sasuke. This isn't just about you. This is about us, about the future we want. Killing Danzo like this… it won't bring peace. It will only bring more pain."
As Haku pleaded with Sasuke, a flock of crows arrived, the presence of them almost ethereal.
With a swift motion, the crows materialized into a person who then summoned the Yata Mirror, shielding Neko from Sasuke's just initiated Chidori Nagashi. Any second too late, and she might've been killed on the spot.
The man, revealed to be Itachi, looked at his younger brother, his voice calm but urgent. "Sasuke, listen to Haku."
Danzo, realizing his leverage was slipping away, tightened his grip on Neko. "Don't think you can reason with him. He's too far gone."
Sasuke's eyes blazed with fury. "Shut up, Danzo!" His Chidori intensified, but Haku stood her ground, her eyes filled with determination.
"Sasuke-kun," Haku said, her voice breaking with emotion. "If you really think this is the way to honor your clan, then prove it by killing me first. I won't let you hurt Neko. Not over my dead body."
Sasuke's resolve wavered as Haku's words pierced through his rage. Damn, what the hell was he doing?
He looked at his hands, the lightning dissipating as his Chidori fizzled out. "Haku…"
Haku stepped closer. "Sasuke-kun, please. Don't become the monster they say you are. You're better than this, find another way."
The chamber fell silent. Sasuke sank to his knees, his mind in turmoil. "What am I doing?" he whispered, his voice filled with anguish. "Am I right or wrong here?"
Itachi placed a hand on Sasuke's shoulder. "You're my brother, Sasuke. I know it's very hard... but you can do it. You can overcome it."
Neko, her throat still pressed against Danzo's kunai, found her voice. "Sasuke, if you kill him now, you'll be no different from him. We need to break this cycle of hatred."
Sasuke Uchiha remained amidst the fallen Anbu, his breath heavy with mental exhaustion and rage. Haku, her heart torn and her mind racing, watched as Sasuke struggled to contain his emotions. Itachi, his presence a calm amidst the chaos, stepped forward, his eyes never leaving Danzo.
Danzo, ever the cunning strategist, smirked as he retreated slowly, still using Neko as a hostage. "You think you've won, Uchiha?" His voice dripped with venom. "Think again."
In a swift, calculated move, Itachi unleashed a flock of crows that filled the room in a potent genjutsu, creating a swirling vortex of feathers and shadows. The crows obscured Danzo's vision, and in the confusion, Itachi deftly separated Neko from Danzo's grip, pulling her to safety with a well-timed Kawarimi jutsu.
Danzo, now exposed and vulnerable, glared at Itachi. "You... Itachi Uchiha. Always the traitor, always the thorn in Konoha's side."
Itachi's face was stoic, but his eyes burned with controlled fury. "And you, Danzo, have always been the root of Konoha's darkness."
Danzo's sneer turned into a scowl as he activated his last Izanagi, his form blurring and reforming to escape the Amaterasu flames Itachi sent his way. Emerging from the shadows, his bandaged face twisted with desperation.
"I'll destroy you all and take the Uchiha with me!"
He began to form seals for his final act, the forbidden Black Ink Self-Destruction jutsu. The air crackled with dark energy, and the ground trembled under the immense power.
Neko, her voice filled with dread, turned to Itachi. "How can we stop this?"
Itachi's Susano'o materialized around him, its ethereal form glowing with power. "Leave it to me."
The Totsuka Blade, wielded by Itachi's Susano'o, pierced through the dark energy of Danzo's jutsu, sealing it within the blade's gourd. The explosion was contained, and the base fell silent. Danzo's form flickered and then vanished as he roared with rage and agony, utterly consumed by the blade's power.
Itachi deactivated his Susano'o and turned to Neko. "Are you alright?"
Neko nodded, her voice shaky but filled with gratitude. "Yes, thanks to you. Itachi... you saved me."
Itachi's expression softened, and for a moment, he allowed himself a rare smile. "You're safe now. That's all that matters."
Haku watched the interaction, her heart swelling with relief and a newfound respect for Itachi. She turned to Sasuke, who was on his knees, staring at his hands in confusion and despair.
She then knelt beside him, her voice gentle but firm. "Sasuke-kun, you are not defined by your past or your clan's history. You have the power to choose your path."
Itachi approached, his presence calming. "She's right, Sasuke. We have to strive to be better. Trust in your friends and more importantly, trust in yourself."
Sasuke looked up at his brother, his eyes filled with turmoil. "Itachi, I don't truly know who I am anymore."
Itachi placed a hand on Sasuke's shoulder. "You are my brother, Sasuke. You are stronger than you can even fathom. Believe in the people who believe in you."
Neko, still processing the events, found her voice. "Itachi, you were once part of the Anbu as well several years ago. How did you become the person you are today?"
Itachi's gaze was distant, his voice reflective. "I learned that true strength comes from protecting those you care about, not from seeking revenge. I chose to fight for peace, even if it meant being seen as a villain."
Neko's eyes softened. "It's hard to believe that the man who once served Danzo would be here today, saving us from his madness."
Itachi nodded. "People can change. As crazy as it sounds, it's never too late to choose a different path."
Haku wrapped her arms around Sasuke, holding him tightly. "We'll get through this, Sasuke-kun. Permanently."
Sasuke's mind was a whirlwind of conflicting emotions, but Haku's presence anchored him. He took a deep breath, trying to steady his thoughts. "I don't want to be a monster, Haku. I want to be better."
Haku smiled, her eyes filled with love. "And you will be, Sasuke-kun. We all will."
Itachi, his presence a stoic pillar amidst the turmoil, broke the silence. "Sasuke, Haku, Neko... there are things you need to understand. I returned to Konoha not just to help rebuild the village, but because I believe in the new path Nagato and Konan are carving. However, some ties are not so easily severed."
Sasuke, still reeling from the confrontation, looked up at his brother. "So why exactly did you come back?"
Itachi's gaze softened as he addressed Sasuke's question. "I returned because Konoha is where our story began, Sasuke. And there are still shadows here that need to be dispelled. My work with Nagato and Konan is important, but there are things here that only I alone can address."
He turned to Neko and Haku, his expression thoughtful. "Neko, it's good to meet you properly. And for you Haku, Sasuke has definitely chosen well. Your loyalty and strength are commendable."
Neko, still shaken but composed, removed her mask and asked the question that had been burning in her mind. "Itachi, why did you do it? Why the massacre?"
Itachi sighed, his eyes reflecting years of pain and burden. "Danzo and other conspirators gave me an ultimatum. They believed the Uchiha were planning a coup, led by our father, Fugaku. The mistrust between the Uchiha and the village had been festering for years, especially after the Kyubi attack and the appointment of Minato as Hokage. It was going to lead to civil war."
Sasuke's voice was tinged with bitterness and confusion. "I still don't truly get it... why didn't you side with our clan? Why not fight against the village's corruption?"
Haku interjected quietly, her voice filled with a somber understanding. "Based on what Itachi is saying, the Uchiha weren't entirely in the right either, Sasuke-kun."
Itachi nodded, appreciating Haku's insight. "Exactly. I chose the path that I believed would prevent the most bloodshed. With the help of Obito Uchiha, I killed our entire clan in order to spare you, Sasuke. I couldn't allow you to be consumed in the flames of the same hatred that had destroyed our family."
Sasuke's eyes filled with unshed tears, and Haku held him tightly, her love and support coming in clutch. She kissed him on both cheeks and his forehead gently, whispering words of comfort. "Sasuke-kun... it's okay. You still have a family..."
Itachi watched them, a rare smile playing on his lips. "Sasuke, Haku's love for you is strong. It will guide you through the darkness."
Yugao, observing the bond between Haku and Sasuke, felt a pang of sorrow. Her own lover had been killed during the chunin exams, a loss that still haunted her. "Haku, I'm happy you have Sasuke. Sometimes it's hard not to think about those we've lost."
Itachi's expression grew somber as he nodded. "I understand that pain all too well, Neko. I had to kill my own lover, Izumi, with my own hands. It was a burden I wouldn't wish on anyone."
Yugao's eyes widened with a mixture of horror and empathy. "How did you endure it, Itachi? How did you carry that weight?"
Itachi's voice was quiet. "I convinced myself that it was the duty of a shinobi to endure. That by bearing the pain, I was protecting the village and the one person I cared about. But in truth, I don't know if I ever truly endured. I simply survived."
Yugao nodded slowly, her gaze distant. "Perhaps, enduring and surviving are one and the same for us shinobi."
Itachi placed a hand on her shoulder. "We should visit the Konoha Memorial Stone sometime soon. To honor those we've lost and to remind ourselves why we continue to fight."
Yugao's eyes met Itachi's, and a spark of understanding passed between them. "I'd like that, Itachi. To remember and to find strength in their memory."
Sasuke, his mind still a whirlwind of conflicting emotions, looked up at Itachi. "So, what now? What do we do from here?"
Itachi's gaze was firm, yet filled with compassion. "We rebuild, Sasuke. We learn from the past and forge a new path. One that honors our fallen and brings true peace to our world."
Haku, her arms still around Sasuke, nodded in agreement. "We'll get it done, Sasuke-kun. Step by step."
Sasuke took a deep breath, his resolve slowly solidifying. "Alright, Itachi. I'll trust you. I'll trust us."
As the dust settled and the tension eased, the group began to make their way out of the ROOT base. Sasuke walked with Haku by his side, his mind still reeling from the events that had transpired. Itachi and Yugao remained behind in order to clean up the scene and tend to the incapacitated shinobi.
As the duo emerged into the dim light of the early dawn, Sasuke paused, turning to face Haku. "Thank you," he said, his voice filled with sincerity. "Thank you for standing by me, even when I felt myself constantly losing my way. I love you for it."
Haku's eyes sparkled with relief. "I will always stand by you Sasuke-kun, no matter what. I love you more, more than you could possibly attempt to understand."
Two more days had passed since the intense confrontations within the hidden corridors of ROOT. The village of Konoha was abuzz with the return of its shinobi from Sunagakure. Shikamaru, Ino, Lee, and Neji made their way through the village, their expressions a blend of exhaustion and relief. The mission in Suna had tested their limits, both physically and emotionally, and now it was time to report back to Tsunade.
As they approached the Hokage's office, the familiar sight of the grand building brought a sense of relief and anticipation. Inside, Tsunade awaited them, her eyes sharp and her demeanor commanding.
"Welcome back," Tsunade greeted, her tone serious. "I trust you have much to report."
Shikamaru stepped forward, producing a scroll from his pouch. "Tsunade-sama, this is the signed treaty from Sunagakure. The mission to mend relations and secure an official alliance was a resounding success."
Tsunade took the scroll, her eyes scanning the contents. "Good. What about the state of the village and your experiences there?"
Ino chimed in. "Sunagakure was in ruins when we arrived. The battle with Snare left the village devastated. Lee fought valiantly and defeated him, but the destruction was immense."
Lee, now the self-titled Black Fist of Konoha, nodded solemnly. "The rebuild took five months. We worked tirelessly to restore the village, and the people showed incredible resilience."
Neji's also spoke up. "As recently as ten days ago, Piccolo Daimao nearly destroyed us all. If not for Goku's timely intervention, we wouldn't be here today."
Tsunade's eyes narrowed, the weight of their words sinking in. "Piccolo Daimao... It seems we owe Goku another debt of gratitude. He has been nothing short of a blessing to this world."
Shikamaru continued, his tone measured and thoughtful. "My relationship with Sabaku no Temari, the advisor of the newly minted Kazekage, has further tightened our alliance. This mission has strengthened our ties with Suna more than ever."
Tsunade's gaze softened slightly. "You've all done well. Ino, Lee, Neji, you are hereby promoted to chunin. You'll receive your flak jackets later. Shikamaru, your intellect and diplomacy have proven invaluable. You're now a prominent candidate to be my personal advisor."
Ino, Lee, and Neji exchanged glances, their expressions a mix of pride and humility. Shikamaru, however, seemed contemplative. "Thank you, Tsunade-sama. We'll continue to serve the village to the best of our abilities."
Tsunade leaned back in her chair, her eyes reflecting the gravity of their words. "There's one more thing. Naruto convinced me to throw a giant party of sorts. I held off until you returned. Now that you're here, the celebration will happen tomorrow."
Lee's serious demeanor cracked slightly, a small smile playing on his lips. "A celebration might be just what we need after everything we've been through."
Ino nodded in agreement. "It's been a long journey. True relaxation and time to enjoy ourselves sounds too good to be true."
Tsunade nodded. "Indeed. You are all dismissed for now. Prepare for the celebration tomorrow and take some time to rest. You've earned it."
As they left the office, the gravity of their mission and the weight of their experiences lingered in the air.
Neji looked around, a rare smirk on his usually stoic face. "You know, Lee, I think you might have finally met your match in stubbornness with those Suna villagers. They wouldn't rest until every grain of sand was back in place."
Lee chuckled, his serious demeanor melting away. "True resilience, Neji. Though, I must admit, their tenacity did inspire a new training regimen I've been developing."
Ino rolled her eyes. "Lee, if you say 'new training regimen' one more time, I'm going to put you in one of those sand pits and bury you in there myself."
Shikamaru stifled a laugh. "And knowing Ino, she'd make sure you couldn't get out, Lee."
Lee grinned, unfazed. "Challenge accepted, Ino-chan. But I must warn you, I've been practicing a new escape technique."
Ino raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really? Does it involve running away from your own ridiculous training schedules?"
Neji jumped back in, "Lee's escape technique probably involves him talking about his 'new training regimen' until his captors surrender out of sheer boredom."
Shikamaru sighed dramatically. "Troublesome as always. Let's just hope the party tomorrow doesn't turn into one of Lee's impromptu training sessions."
Ino smirked. "If it does, I'll be the first to sneak off and find a nice quiet corner with a bottle of sake."
Lee looked affronted. "Ino-chan, you wound me! A true shinobi never shirks from a challenge."
Ino shot back, "And a true kunoichi knows when to take a break and enjoy a drink. You could learn a thing or two."
Neji laughed, the sound surprising his friends. "Maybe we should just make sure Lee doesn't get his hands on any more training weights. I still can't believe he and Goku tried to train with boulders in Suna."
Shikamaru shook his head. "Next thing you know, he'll be trying to lift the Hokage Monument."
Lee's eyes lit up. "That's a fantastic idea, Shikamaru! Imagine the strength I could gain from such an endeavor!"
Ino groaned. "Please, no. The last thing we need is you causing an earthquake in the middle of Konoha."
Shikamaru snorted. "Knowing Lee, he'd call it 'strength training' and 'urban renewal' all in one breath."
As they walked further away from the Hokage office, Lee suddenly turned to Shikamaru. "Do you think Temari would appreciate a bouquet of training manuals as a gift?"
Shikamaru sighed deeply. "Lee, I think you should stick to flowers. Real flowers."
Ino added, "And maybe throw in some chocolates. Girls like chocolates, not heavy reading material."
Neji nodded. "Or you could always try not giving gifts that double as weapons."
Shikamaru laughed. "Let's just hope tomorrow's celebration doesn't turn into one of Lee's crazy ideas."
Lee puffed out his chest. "If it does, it'll be the best celebration Konoha has ever seen!"
Ino shook her head. "Lee, if you start a training montage at this party, I'm going to tie you to a chair."
Neji smirked. "And we'll make sure it's the sturdiest chair in the village."
Lee laughed heartily. "I welcome the challenge, my friends. But for now, let's enjoy the peace and rest we've earned."
With that, the four friends separated off into the village, their laughter echoing through the streets as they looked forward to the much-needed celebration and the hilarity that was sure to ensue. The anticipation of the party filled them with a lightheartedness they hadn't felt in months.
The day of the grand celebration dawned, casting a warm glow over Konoha. The village was alive with anticipation, the air buzzing with excitement and the scent of delicious food wafting through the streets. Banners and decorations adorned every corner, transforming the village into a vibrant festival ground. This celebration was a testament to their resilience, a moment to pause and relish their triumphs after the grueling missions and battles they had endured.
As the sun began to set, casting a golden hue over the village, the festivities commenced in earnest. Tsunade stood at the heart of the village, raising a glass of sake as she addressed the gathered shinobi and villagers.
"Tonight, we celebrate not just our victories, but our unity and strength as a village," Tsunade declared, her voice carrying over the crowd. "To the brave shinobi who have returned from Suna, to the ones who were instrumental in defeating Piccolo Daimao and the Akatsuki, to our allies, and to the bonds that hold us together—Kanpai!"
The crowd echoed her cheer, raising their glasses and cups in a spirited toast. The celebration had officially begun.
Jiraiya, ever the life of the party, was quick to join in the revelry. He spotted Tsunade standing by the sake table, her golden hair catching the light, and made his way over with a mischievous grin on his face. "Tsunade-hime, care for a dance with the great Toad Sage?"
Tsunade rolled her eyes but couldn't hide her smile. "You never change, do you, Jiraiya?"
"Why would I? Some things are perfect just the way they are," Jiraiya replied, his grin widening.
As the music began to play, Jiraiya took Tsunade's hand and led her to the dance floor. Their movements were fluid and graceful, a dance of old friends who had shared countless adventures. The crowd watched, enchanted by the rare sight of the legendary Sannin sharing a moment of joy.
As the song drew to a close, Jiraiya pulled Tsunade closer, his eyes twinkling with mischief yet filled with genuine affection. With surprising tenderness, he leaned in and stole a chaste kiss on her lips.
Tsunade's eyes widened in shock, a blush coloring her cheeks. She blinked, then a smile tugged at her lips, a mixture of amusement and warmth. "Jiraiya, you really are incorrigible."
Jiraiya laughed heartily, the sound rich and full of life. "Only for you, Tsunade-hime. Only for you."
Tsunade chuckled, shaking her head. "You're lucky I have a soft spot for you, old friend. But don't push your luck."
"Wouldn't dream of it," Jiraiya said, his tone sincere beneath the playful words. "Tonight is about celebrating, and there's no one I'd rather share this dance with than you."
Goku and Hinata mingled with the crowd, their presence commanding attention like a pair of celestial beings. Goku's new appearance—taller, more muscular, and undeniably handsome—drew surprised and admiring looks from many who hadn't seen him since his transformation. His aura was different, more powerful and mature, yet he still carried that boyish charm that made him endearing. Hinata, ever composed and graceful, stayed close to him, her hand intertwined with his, a symbol of their unbreakable bond.
They walked through the crowd, the whispers and murmurs following them like a shadow. Goku's change was the talk of the evening, and Hinata's serene strength complemented him perfectly. Together, they were a striking pair, embodying power and grace in equal measure.
Ino, with her usual flair, approached them, her eyes widening as she took in Goku's new appearance. "Goku-kun, you've really changed!" she exclaimed, her voice a mix of surprise and admiration.
Goku rubbed the back of his head, a sheepish smile on his face. "Yeah, a lot has happened," he said, his tone humble despite the obvious transformation he had undergone.
Hinata squeezed his hand, her voice firm as she looked directly at Ino. "We're together now. I hope that's clear."
Ino's smile faltered for a moment, the weight of the declaration settling in. She looked between them, her eyes softening as she nodded. "I see. Well, I'm happy for you both. Really."
Goku's smile widened, a hint of relief in his eyes. "Thanks, Ino."
As the evening progressed, the music shifted to a slower, more romantic tune. Goku turned to Hinata, his eyes shining with affection. "Shall we?" he asked, offering his hand.
Hinata nodded, her cheeks tinged with a faint blush. "I'd love to."
They moved to the dance floor, the crowd parting to give them space. As they began to dance, it was as if the world around them faded away. Goku's movements were fluid and strong, and Hinata followed his lead with an effortless grace. They danced in perfect harmony, their steps synchronized and their hearts beating as one.
The dance floor was bathed in soft, golden light, casting a magical glow over the couple. Goku's Ikari ki began to subtly wrap around Hinata, a visible manifestation of his protective love and energy. The ki shimmered like a gentle, ethereal mist, enveloping Hinata in a warm embrace.
Their movements became more expressive, more intimate, as they danced. Goku lifted Hinata effortlessly, twirling her in the air before bringing her back down into his arms. The audience watched in awe, captivated by the display of strength and elegance.
Hinata's eyes never left Goku's, her trust and love for him evident in every glance. She felt safe, cherished, and adored. Goku, in turn, felt a deep sense of pride and joy, knowing that he was sharing this moment with the woman he loved.
As the music reached its crescendo, Goku and Hinata moved closer, their foreheads touching. The world around them seemed to hold its breath, the moment stretching into infinity. Goku's arms wrapped around Hinata's waist, and she rested her hands on his shoulders, their connection evident.
In a final, breathtaking move, Goku lifted Hinata once more, spinning her gently before bringing her down into a tender embrace. Their lips met in a soft, loving kiss, sealing the moment the way it was supposed to be sealed.
The crowd erupted into applause, the spell of the dance broken but the magic lingering in the air. Goku and Hinata smiled at each other, their hearts full and their spirits high.
As they walked off the dance floor, Goku leaned in, his voice a whisper. "You're awesome, y'know that?"
Hinata's lavender eyes sparkled with happiness. "I've been informed. You are too, Goku-kun. You are too."
And with that, they rejoined the celebration, hand in hand.
Lee, with his calm and composed demeanor, found himself at the drinks table with Ino. The two clinked their sake cups together, the clear liquid glistening in the evening light.
"Lee," Ino said, a playful glint in her eyes, "you've really grown up. I mean, who knew the bushy-browed, spandex-wearing kid could turn into this... calm, mature, Black Fist of Konoha?"
Lee chuckled, his eyes reflecting a newfound maturity. "So have you, Ino-chan. You've turned into quite the formidable kunoichi yourself."
Ino smirked, swirling the sake in her cup. "Formidable, huh? Are you flirting with me?"
Lee blinked, momentarily taken aback. "I—uh, well, I suppose I am."
Ino laughed, a melodic sound that seemed to lighten the mood around them. "Good answer."
As the night wore on and the sake flowed, the two found themselves drawn closer, their inhibitions melting away with each sip. Ino leaned in, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.
"Lee, have you ever done something completely reckless and regretted it the next morning?"
Lee thought for a moment, then shook his head. "Not really. I usually channel my energy into training."
Ino rolled her eyes. "Of course you do. Well, let's change that tonight."
Before Lee could respond, Ino closed the distance between them, pressing her lips against his in a bold kiss. Lee's eyes widened in surprise, but he quickly recovered, kissing her back with equal fervor. Their lips moved together in a passionate embrace, the world around them fading into a blur.
They pulled back, breathless and surprised by their own daring. Ino's cheeks were flushed, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
"I've wanted to do that for a minute now," Ino admitted, her voice husky.
Lee grinned, his heart pounding. "Me too, Ino-chan."
The two stood there for a moment, caught up in the electricity of the moment. Then, Ino grabbed the bottle of sake and took a swig, her eyes never leaving Lee's.
"Let's get out of here before we sober up and realize how ridiculous we're being," Ino suggested, her voice filled with laughter.
Lee nodded, his grin widening. "Agreed."
With that, they made a hasty exit, their laughter echoing behind them as they fled the party. They found a quiet corner of the village, hidden from prying eyes, and continued their impromptu rendezvous. Their kisses were fervent, filled with the unrestrained passion of youth and the boldness that only a few too many drinks could bring.
"I can't believe we're doing this," Lee murmured between kisses, his hands tangled in Ino's hair.
"Believe it, Lee-kun," Ino replied, her lips brushing against his ear. "And don't you dare regret it."
Lee laughed, a sound filled with genuine joy. "Regret this? Never."
Their night continued in a whirlwind of laughter, kisses, and stolen moments, each one more daring than the last. They reveled in their recklessness, savoring the freedom that came with casting aside their usual reservations.
As the night drew to a close, they found themselves sitting side by side, breathless and exhilarated. Ino leaned her head on Lee's shoulder, a contented smile playing on her lips.
"That was... something," she said, her voice soft.
Lee nodded, his eyes filled with a warmth that mirrored her own. "It was. And I wouldn't change a thing."
Ino looked up at him, her eyes shining. "Me neither, Lee. Me neither."
Yugao and Itachi sat together on the outskirts of the celebration, their conversation flowing naturally. The festivities around them were a stark contrast to the somber undertones of their discussion. Despite the music and laughter filling the air, there was a certain gravity between them that was hard to ignore.
"It's strange," Yugao began, her voice carrying a thoughtful edge, "to think that one of the biggest Konoha villains in history was really a hero in the shadows."
Itachi's lips curled into a small, almost ironic smile. "People can change. Sometimes, it may take the hardest of journeys to eventually find the right path."
She looked at him, her eyes filled with a warmth that softened the hard edges of her face. "I'm just glad you're on our side."
Itachi's gaze turned inward, his eyes reflecting a lifetime of regrets and hard choices. "I appreciate that, Yugao. It's been a long road."
Yugao chuckled dryly, the sound carrying a hint of morbid humor. "You know, it's kind of funny. We're sitting here, surrounded by people celebrating, but we're the ones talking about deep topics and burdens."
Itachi nodded, his expression serious. "Life has a way of testing those it deems strong enough to handle it."
Yugao sighed, looking up at the night sky. "Do you ever wonder if it's all worth it? The sacrifices, the losses... everything."
Itachi's eyes darkened momentarily, memories of his family, his friends, and the countless lives he took flashing through his mind. "Every day. But I also know that those sacrifices have shaped who we are. They've brought us to this point."
Yugao's gaze softened as she studied him. "You're not what I expected, Itachi. When I was younger, you were this almost mythical figure. The prodigy who betrayed his clan."
Itachi let out a quiet laugh, the sound tinged with bitterness. "And now?"
"Now I see a man who has carried the weight of the world on his shoulders, who has made choices no one should have to make," she replied, her voice sincere.
The conversation shifted as they walked through the village, eventually finding themselves at the Konoha monument. The names of the fallen were etched into the stone, a permanent reminder of the cost of their peace.
Yugao's steps faltered as her eyes landed on a particular name: Gekkou Hayate. Her breath hitched, and she felt the tears welling up, memories of their time together flooding her mind. She fell to her knees, her hand reaching out to touch his name etched into the cold stone.
Itachi stood beside her, his own gaze scanning the names. His heart ached as he read the familiar names of those he had lost: Shisui, Mikoto, Izumi, Fugaku, and Obito. Each name sans Obito was a dagger to his heart, a reminder of his sins and the loved ones he had taken from the world.
Seeing Yugao break down, Itachi knelt beside her, wrapping a comforting arm around her shoulders. She leaned into him, seeking solace in his quiet strength. "I miss him so much," she whispered, her voice breaking.
"I know," Itachi murmured, his own voice tight with emotion. "I miss them too."
They sat in silence for a long moment, the weight of their shared grief binding them together. Eventually, Yugao wiped her eyes and looked up at him. "Thank you, Itachi. For being here."
Itachi met her gaze, his eyes reflecting his own sorrow. "You don't have to thank me, Yugao. We all carry our burdens, but sometimes, it's easier when we share them."
She nodded, a small smile tugging at her lips. "You're right. It helps to know I'm not alone in this."
Itachi stood, offering her his hand to stand. "Come on. Let's keep walking."
They continued their journey, their conversation turning to lighter topics as they opened up to each other. Despite their reserved natures, they found comfort in each other's company, sharing stories and dreams they had never voiced before.
"I always wanted to be a swordswoman," Yugao admitted with a shy smile. "But I never thought I'd be where I am today."
Itachi chuckled. "And I always wanted to be a protector, someone who could keep those I cared about safe. Life has a way of taking us down unexpected paths."
Yugao looked at him, her eyes shining with admiration. "You've done that, Itachi. In your own way, you've protected this village."
He smiled softly, a rare lightness in his eyes. "And you, Yugao. You've fought and protected what you believe in. That's something to be proud of."
Their steps slowed as they reached a quiet spot overlooking the village, the lights of Konoha twinkling below them, a testament to the lives they had dedicated themselves to protecting.
"It's beautiful," Yugao said, her voice filled with awe.
Itachi nodded. "Yes, it is. And it's worth every sacrifice we've made."
As they stood there, side by side, a new understanding blossomed between them. They had both lost so much, but in each other, they found a kindred spirit, someone who understood the weight of their choices and the strength it took to carry on.
With a soft smile, Yugao looked at Itachi. "Thank you, Itachi. For tonight. For everything."
He returned her smile. "Thank you, Yugao. For being here."
Elsewhere, Neji found Tenten amidst the crowd, his eyes lighting up in an uncharacteristic manner as he approached her. "Tenten, it's good to see you."
Tenten's smile was bright and genuine. "Neji, I've missed you. It's been too quiet without your constant lectures."
In a rare display of emotion, Neji wrapped his arms around Tenten, pulling her into a hug that was both firm and tender. Their foreheads collided gently, a symbol of their unspoken bond. "I'm glad to be back," he said, his voice softer than usual.
Tenten laughed softly, a melodic sound that seemed to make the air around them lighter. "You don't usually show this much emotion, Neji. What happened to the stoic, always-in-control Hyuga prodigy?"
Neji chuckled, a dry humor in his tone. "Even prodigies need to loosen up sometimes. Plus, the world almost ending has a way of putting things into perspective."
Tenten raised an eyebrow, smirking. "So, you finally realized there's more to life than training and destiny? I'm impressed."
Neji nodded, his expression becoming serious but his eyes still twinkling with a hint of amusement. "I suppose I have. Sometimes, it's good to show what we feel, especially to those who matter."
Tenten punched him lightly on the shoulder. "Well, it's about time. Now, if you start spouting poetry or something, I might just faint."
Neji smirked. "Don't worry, I won't go that far. But maybe I'll save a few heartfelt words for our next mission briefing."
Tenten laughed again, shaking her head. "Deal. Just don't get too soft on me, Neji. I need my partner in crime sharp and ready."
Neji's smile widened. "Wouldn't dream of it, Tenten."
They stood in comfortable silence for a moment, the chaotic world around them fading into the background. Tenten broke the silence, her tone turning more serious. "You know, while you were in Suna, I had a bit of a transformation myself."
Neji looked intrigued. "Oh? Do tell."
Tenten grinned. "They call me Tetsu now. Iron-Girl. I created two sets of armors inspired by the comic books of Marvel and Tony Stark specifically with Red Ribbon Army reverse engineered technology along with a new set of weapons that could potentially change the game entirely. Days and weeks and months later, it made me quite the force to reckon with physically and financially."
Neji's eyes widened slightly. "Tetsu? That suits you. I'm glad to see you've only gotten stronger."
Tenten's expression faltered slightly. "But during our fight against Piccolo Daimao and his two androids... I was killed, Neji."
Neji's grip on her shoulder tightened. "Killed? But you're here now. How...?"
Tenten shrugged, trying to mask the lingering fear with nonchalance. "Thankfully, I don't remember dying or how it felt. I was just informed I was killed. Apparently I was brought back with the Rinne Tensei."
Neji's eyes darkened with anger and determination. "I won't let that happen again, Tenten. I vow to protect you with everything I have."
Tenten smiled softly, a bittersweet look in her eyes. "We need to protect each other, Neji-kun. I like you. I don't know if you feel the same way, but..."
Neji silenced her with a gentle kiss on her forehead, his lips lingering longer than necessary. "I do, Tenten. I feel the same way."
Tenten blushed, her heart skipping a beat. "Well, I guess that's settled then."
Neji chuckled softly. "Yes, it is."
The two of them stood there, the world moving around them, but for that moment, they were in their own bubble. Tenten leaned her head against Neji's shoulder, feeling a sense of peace she hadn't felt in a long time.
As the night wore on and the celebration reached its peak, Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke, and Haku found themselves sitting together at a table, the atmosphere light, filled with laughter and teasing comments. Trash talking as well.
Sakura, her eyes glinting with mischief, turned to Sasuke with a smirk. "You know, I used to have the biggest crush on you, Sasuke-kun. It's crazy to think just how drastically things can change, huh?"
Haku, sitting comfortably beside Sasuke, let out a melodic laugh, her eyes twinkling with playful mischief. "Sorry for stealing your man, Sakura. We can switch back if you want."
Naruto and Sasuke both cringed at the suggestion, their discomfort clear, but the girls burst into giggles at the thought. Sakura, still smiling, leaned closer to Naruto. She placed a hand on his cheek, drawing him in for a series of light, playful kisses. One, two, three soft kisses on his lips, each one more lingering than the last.
"I'm happy with who I have," Sakura declared, her voice sweet but firm. "Naruto-kun is way better."
Not to be outdone, Haku grinned and shifted closer to Sasuke. She cupped his face in her hands and kissed him four times, each kiss a little longer and more intense than the previous one. The last kiss lingered, her lips pressed against his in a show of affection and possession.
"I disagree," Haku said, her voice soft and teasing as she pulled back, her eyes locked with Sasuke's.
Naruto and Sasuke exchanged uncomfortable glances, the awkwardness between them tangible. The former cleared his throat, trying to regain some semblance of composure. "You know, Sakura-chan, Haku's really pretty. I used to think she was prettier than you."
Sakura's playful demeanor shifted instantly, her eyes narrowing as she fixed Naruto with a stern look. "Really, Naruto-kun? You thought Haku was prettier than me? If you really believe that, she can have you."
Sasuke smirked. "See, my side wins again."
Naruto's eyes widened in panic, realizing his mistake. "But now, Sakura-chan, you're the prettiest girl in the village!"
Just then, Goku and Hinata walked by, drawing admiring glances. Ino and Lee were not far behind, sipping sake and laughing together. Haku crossed her arms, clearly unimpressed. Case in point: Hinata, Ino, and Haku alone were all more attractive than Sakura... and it wasn't particularly close. Even older kunoichi such as Yugao, Anko, Kurenai, and even Tsunade at her age were most likely ranked ahead of Sakura. She was more on the level of Tenten and the likes of Ayame, which wasn't a horrible prospect but at the same time nowhere near the top tier. Damn Sakura. Everyone knew Naruto was making these claims to gas his lady up and mask the obvious truth.
Sakura sighed. "Okay, maybe I'm not the prettiest, but Naruto loves me, and that's what matters."
Naruto grinned. "Exactly. I love you, Sakura-chan. Your forehead is so big, makes me wanna kiss it."'
Sakura perked up at the memory. "Wait... didn't Sasuke say that two years ago when we first became Team 7?"
Sasuke chuckled. "You really thought I'd say something like that, Sakura? Only one person on Earth could deliver a line that cheesy."
Naruto scratched his head. "Okay, that was me. Sorry, Sakura-chan."
Sakura laughed. "I wish you said it sooner. I wouldn't have wasted so much time on Sasuke."
Naruto looked guilty, rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorry again, Sakura-chan. But everything worked out in the end."
Sakura leaned in, her voice softening. "Yeah, it did. Besides, if you hadn't said that back then while transformed as Sasuke, I probably wouldn't have realized how much you cared."
Naruto's grin widened, his blue eyes sparkling with affection. "Well, I'm glad you finally figured it out."
Sakura reached out, cupping Naruto's cheek with her hand. "Me too, Naruto-kun. Me too."
Haku, watching the exchange, couldn't help but smile. "You two are really something. It's nice to see you happy, Sakura."
Sakura turned to Haku, a genuine smile on her face. "Thanks, Haku. And thank you for being there for Sasuke. I think we all needed someone to lean on."
Haku nodded, her eyes softening as she looked at Sasuke. "We all have our roles to play."
Naruto then asked Haku and Sasuke a question, "So, have you two, y'know, done it yet?"
Sasuke nearly sputtered, but Haku answered calmly. "Hai, multiple times. It's a way to heal, you know."
Naruto and Sakura blushed, clearly caught off guard. "We haven't," the blonde admitted, scratching his head.
Sasuke laughed, enjoying Naruto's discomfort. "Well, there's a first time for everything."
Sakura's eyes widened. "You two are really something else. How did this all start?"
Haku smirked, casting a sly glance at Sasuke. "Well, it all began when Goku beat Sasuke-kun's ass."
Sasuke's face darkened slightly at the memory. "Yeah, Goku decided the best way to help me deal with my issues was to let me try to kill him. It... didn't go as planned."
Naruto's eyes lit up with curiosity. "Wait, so Goku let you try to kill him?"
Sasuke nodded. "Yeah, he figured it would help me unleash all my emotions and troubles. But, as expected, I failed miserably."
Haku leaned in, her voice softening with affection. "That night, I knew I had to make sure Sasuke was ready for the mission to take out Piccolo Daimao. So, I showed him just how... great I could be."
Sasuke shuddered, a rare smile tugging at his lips. "It was... too good. Icy and cool, but in the best way possible."
Sakura looked between them, her curiosity piqued. "So what happened after that?"
Haku's eyes twinkled with mischief. "When Sasuke returned to the village after the mission, we performed 'Icy Hot' for a second time. It wasn't about healing that time. It was about lovemaking and connection."
Sasuke's expression softened as he glanced at Haku. "Since then, we can't keep our hands off each other."
Naruto chuckled, shaking his head. "You two are really something else. So, are you like really planning on restoring the Uchiha clan at fifteen years old?"
Sasuke smirked. "Why stop there? We're also restoring the Yuki clan. Imagine ice-wielding Sharingan babies."
Haku laughed, her voice melodic. "That sounds like quite the combination."
Sakura's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Naruto-kun and I will just have to see how long we last compared to you two."
Naruto grinned, wrapping an arm around Sakura's shoulders. "We'll be just fine, Sakura-chan. Besides, we can handle anything."
Haku raised an eyebrow, her tone playful. "Are you sure about that, Naruto-kun? Maybe we should switch partners for a day and see who lasts longer."
Sasuke snorted, clearly entertained by the idea. "Dobe, you couldn't handle Haku even if you tried."
Naruto puffed out his chest, feigning confidence. "I could totally handle it, teme!"
Sakura laughed, giving Naruto a playful nudge. "Let's not test that theory, Naruto-kun."
Kakashi sat alone at the edge of the festivities, his nose buried in "Icha Icha Paradise" as usual. The din of laughter and music provided a lively backdrop to his silent contemplation. He sighed, turning a page with the same practiced ease he executed a kunai throw.
"Surely, the coolest character in the show deserves someone," he mused aloud, more to himself than anyone else. "Even Jiraiya-sama, the perverted hermit in every timeline, gets a kiss once in a while."
Just as he pondered the cosmic injustice of his solitude, a familiar scent of dango and mischief wafted through the air, pulling him from his thoughts. Anko strolled by, her hips swaying with the confidence of someone who knew exactly the effect she had on others. She caught his eye and shot him a wink, a seductive smile playing on her lips.
"Reading that trash again, Kakashi?" Her voice was a perfect blend of teasing and challenge.
Kakashi's heart skipped a beat, and he momentarily forgot how to breathe. He looked up, his DMS eyes curving into an amused arc. "Maybe I am," he said, his voice deceptively casual. "Care to join me? I could use some company who appreciates fine literature."
Anko laughed, a melodious sound that made Kakashi's insides twist in the most pleasant way. "We'll see, Copy Ninja. But you'll have to convince me it's worth my time."
Kakashi tilted his head, considering his options. "Well, if you prefer, I can offer a live reading," he suggested with a smirk, holding the book up. "I have been told I have a way with words."
Anko rolled her eyes but couldn't hide her grin. "Keep dreaming, Kakashi. Maybe one day I'll let you read me a bedtime story."
"One can hope," Kakashi replied, his voice dripping with mock sincerity. "I'll be here, ready with the next chapter."
As Anko sauntered away, Kakashi's gaze lingered on her retreating form. He sighed again, this time with a hint of a smile beneath his mask. Maybe his romantic story was still unwritten, but at least the prologue had potential.
As the night drew to a close, Goku and Hinata continued their sky dance, drawing thousands of eyes with their graceful movements. Goku's Ikari ki wrapped around Hinata like a protective blanket, lifting her gently off the ground. Their love was evident in every step they took, every twirl they made. The villagers below marveled at the sight, their eyes wide with wonder and admiration.
Goku looked striking in his deep blue gi undershirt and vibrant orange pants, which contrasted sharply with his spiky black hair and intense eyes that held a slight, extremely subtle golden hue from his Ikari energy, subtly triggered by his love for Hinata. His growing muscular frame, though not yet fully defined, moved with a power that seemed effortless, each motion controlled and precise. The deep blue of his undershirt accentuated his broadening shoulders and emerging chest muscles, while the orange pants, cinched at the waist with a dark blue sash, emphasized his developing legs. His spiky hair, a signature feature, appeared even more pronounced against his lightly tanned skin, and his intense gaze added an aura of determination and strength.
Hinata, in contrast, was a vision of grace in her fitted black long-sleeve shirt, which clung to her slender frame and highlighted her graceful movements. Her navy blue pants were practical yet stylish, allowing for flexibility in combat while accentuating her lithe form. The martial artist combat flats she wore were both functional and elegant, completing her ensemble with a touch of understated sophistication. Her shoulder-length dark hair flowed smoothly from her ponytail, framing her delicate features, and her lavender eyes shone with a soft luminescence that hinted at her inner strength and kindness. The combination of her immaculate elegance and Goku's raw power created a mesmerizing display, showcasing their contrasting yet complementary natures.
With each rise and fall, Goku and Hinata moved in perfect harmony. Goku's strength and power were balanced by Hinata's grace and poise. They kissed repeatedly, their lips meeting in a dance of their own, their bond growing stronger with each moment.
"This is amazing," Hinata whispered, her eyes shining with love and excitement.
Goku grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Yeah, it's pretty cool. But I think you're the one making it look so beautiful."
Hinata blushed, but her smile remained. "You're so cheesy, Goku-kun."
"Hey, I can't help it," Goku replied, pulling her closer. "It's true."
Below, the rest of the villagers enjoyed the festivities. The air was filled with the aroma of delicious food, the sounds of music and laughter. It was a night to remember, a night that celebrated not just their victories, but their unity and strength.
Friendships were strengthened as old comrades shared stories of battles fought and won. Loves were confessed as hearts found the courage to speak their truth. Bonds were forged in the heat of the celebration, ties that would hold them together through whatever challenges lay ahead.
As fireworks lit up the night sky, the village of Konoha stood united. From their vantage point high above the village, Goku and Hinata watched the aerial explosions, their hearts full. The sky dance had been a spur-of-the-moment decision, a way to share their joy with the village.
Hinata looked at Goku, her eyes soft with affection. "I never thought I'd be dancing in the sky, with the boy I love, watching fireworks over Konoha."
Goku chuckled, his grip tightening around her. "I never thought I'd be able to fly, let alone with you. Life's full of surprises, huh?"
"Indeed," Hinata agreed, resting her head against his shoulder. "But I wouldn't have it any other way."
Goku's smile widened, and he pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. "Me neither."
The fireworks continued to light up the sky, each burst of color painting the night in shades of wonder and joy. Below, the villagers danced and sang, their spirits lifted by the celebration. As the final fireworks exploded in a grand display of light, Goku and Hinata descended slowly, their feet touching down with a soft click.
Goku was Hinata's.
Hinata was Goku's.
GokuHina.
The day after the celebration, Goku, Hinata, and Akamaru set off on their new adventure to the Land of Korin. The morning sun cast a golden hue over the village as they departed, the anticipation of the journey ahead filling them with excitement.
As they approached the Land of Korin, the scenery began to change. The lush forests and rolling hills gave way to the towering structure of Korin's Tower, piercing the sky with its immense height. At the base of the tower, they were greeted by Upa and Bora, members of the Karinga tribe.
"Goku!" Upa exclaimed, his eyes wide with surprise. "You've grown so much since we last saw you!"
Bora nodded, his expression one of quiet admiration. "It's good to see you again, Goku. And who is it that accompanies you?"
Hinata bowed respectfully. "My name is Hinata. It's an honor to meet you both. Goku has told me a lot about you."
Upa and Bora smiled warmly. "The honor is ours," the latter said. "Any friend of Goku's is a friend of ours."
The group settled down for a conversation, exchanging stories and catching up on the events of the past months. Goku recounted their battles with Piccolo Daimao and his forces, the rebuild of Sunagakure, defeating Kaguya, and last nights celebration in Konoha.
"It's amazing how much has happened in such a short time," Upa said, shaking his head in wonder. "You've really been through a lot."
Goku grinned. "Yeah, it's been quite a journey. But we're not done yet. We're here to see Korin and then meet Kami."
Bora's eyes widened slightly at the mention of Kami. "Kami? That's appears to be quite the significant journey. But if anyone can do it, it's you, Goku."
With their conversation winding down, Goku, Hinata, and Akamaru prepared for the next part of their journey. They decided to race up Korin's Tower on foot, a challenge that would test their speed and strength.
"Ready?" Goku asked, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
Hinata nodded, her determination evident. "Ready."
Akamaru barked in agreement, his tail wagging eagerly.
"Set... Go!" Goku shouted, and they took off, racing up the tower with incredible speed.
Goku, lacking chakra, relied on his pure speed and strength, while Hinata used her chakra to adhere to the tower and move with grace. Despite Goku's immense power, he held back to make the race fair, allowing Hinata to edge him out just slightly. Akamaru, though not used to such high speeds, followed closely behind.
The race concluded in minutes.
As they reached the top of the tower, Hinata arrived first, her breath coming in steady but heavy gasps. Goku landed beside her moments later, his smile wide and proud. Akamaru followed, panting heavily but clearly exhilarated by the climb.
At the top of the tower, they were greeted by Korin, the wise cat who had guided Goku to a degree in his earlier adventures.
"Korin!" Goku called out, his voice filled with joy.
Korin looked up from his perch, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Well, well, if it isn't Goku. And you've brought friends."
Hinata stepped forward, bowing respectfully. "It's an honor to meet you, Korin-sama."
Korin nodded in acknowledgment. "The pleasure is mine. Any friend of Goku's is welcome here."
They spent some time talking with Korin, sharing stories and learning from his wisdom. Hinata was fascinated by Korin's knowledge and the history of the tower.
After a while, Korin looked at Goku, his expression serious. "If you're here to see Kami, you'll need to fly vertically from here. It's a long journey, but I have no doubt you can make it."
Goku nodded, determination in his eyes. "Thanks, Korin."
Hinata climbed onto Goku's back, her arms wrapped securely around his shoulders. Goku held Akamaru in his arms, the dog looking both excited and nervous.
"Hold on tight," Goku said, and with a burst of energy, they took off, flying vertically into the sky.
The journey was arduous, the air growing thinner and the temperature dropping as they ascended. They passed through dark blue clouds and yellow lightning, the intense weather testing their resolve. Despite the challenges, Goku pressed on, his strength and determination unwavering.
Finally, they broke through the clouds, their eyes widening in awe at the sight before them. A floating demi-sphere-shaped structure with intricate patterns and colors appeared, suspended in the sky.
Kami's Lookout was a sight to behold.
The structure was immense, seemingly carved from white marble with gold accents that shimmered in the sunlight. The base was surrounded by lush gardens, filled with exotic plants and flowers that radiated a serene beauty. Pathways made of polished stone led to various parts of the lookout, each adorned with intricate carvings that told stories of the past.
In the center of the lookout stood a grand palace, its domed roofs and spires reaching towards the heavens. The walls were decorated with vibrant murals depicting scenes of ancient battles, celestial beings, and moments of profound peace. The air was filled with a sense of tranquility, the atmosphere almost otherworldly.
Goku descended slowly, his feet touching down with a soft click. Hinata and Akamaru looked around in wonder, their expressions filled with amazement. They stood there for a moment, taking in the breathtaking sight of Kami's Lookout/
"This is incredible," Hinata whispered, her voice filled with awe.
Goku nodded, his eyes scanning the area. "Yeah, it really is."
