Chapter 1: Happy Birthday: Recap

Dear Diary

It's me again, Star Strong.

Man, to say this past week was TOTALLY INSANE would be the understatement of the century!

I mean...I don't even know where I begin. I hadn't even had a chance to write this week because what was happening, but better late than ever, right?

Anyway...well, let's start with the most obvious.

I just had my sixteenth birthday party today and I just got home. However, me turning sixteen is NOT the most insane thing that happened this week!

No, far from it!

It was everything that happened that lead up to my party and during it too. No thanks to the rotten witch with cheap hair extensions, otherwise known as Colette...or rather "Psycholette" as we all agreed to call her for now on.

I honestly couldn't think of a more fitting nickname for that brat, even if I tried. I'm still surprised that I didn't think of it.

Anyway, this is what happened during this nightmarish week that is finally over.

Psycholette sunk to the LOWEST ever, to a low even I never expected she was capable of. And believe me, I have already seen her sink really low before many, MANY times.

That horrible, lying, scheming, boy-crazed, conniving, psychotic little maniac framed me, Sam, Tucker, Val and Jazz for crimes we didn't do and nearly got expelled from school!

Yes, EXPELLED!

And even worse, we almost ended up with a criminal record if she got her way with the crimes she tried to set us up for.

Apparently, she got involved and paid off some sketchy people to do it and Lancer and Ishiyama, as well as the superintendent, would have expelled us on the spot had our parents not stepped it and my dad...and mom, I guess...used everything they had to make sure that a proper investigation was held and eventually proved our innocence even before we dealt with Colette.

My dad really is an amazing lawyer and an even better dad, isn't he?

Anyway, once our names were cleared Lancer and Ishiyama pathetically tried to apologize to us and promised we were no longer expelled but I knew that this isn't over yet.

It's no surprise that Dad is planning on dealing with them now...but us almost getting expelled wasn't the worst part.

No, things got much, MUCH worse when Psycholette found out about Danny's secret and surprise, surprise, she, being the evil, manipulative shrew that she is, just had to threaten to reveal his secret unless he became her slave and broke up with me!

It was an absolute nightmare!

My heart nearly died when Danny told me he wanted to break up with me. I was devastated until I noticed his wording and eventually figured out what had happened, thanks to Skulker of all people sending us messages from Danny since my Boo convinced him to help out.

Figures that even a deranged hunter from another dimension who wants to skin my Boo had been willing to help us out with Colette since even he felt what she was doing was messed up.

Ironic, right?

As I was saying, me and the others found out what Colette was doing and what she was using to keep Danny under her thumb. I never felt as angry as I did when I learned what she did and what she was trying to force Danny to do while they "dated".

For all her talk about love and wanting to date Danny, Colette apparently doesn't see it as anything different than having a slave and forcing them to obey her commands. My poor Danny-Boo had the worst week of his entire life dealing with her, all because he was trying to protect both his secret, as well as me and our friends from even more rotten tricks from that brat that was determined to get us expelled and arrested just to keep Danny all to herself.

It was just appalling!

Thankfully, due to help from a lot of...unlikely allies and unexpected friends helping us out...we managed to prove our innocence, get rid of the proof Colette had of Danny's secret, trick her into revealing herself as the evil, psychotic monster that she is at my birthday party that she tried to steal.

Yeah, you heard that right, she literally tried to STEAL my birthday party right AFTER trying to trap my boyfriend in a twisted so-called relationship out of spite.

Petty, isn't it? Well, that's Colette.

Thankfully, we managed to prove to everyone she was the monster behind all that happened and after an admittable fun chase and tricking her into revealing more of her unhinged personality, everyone, including my mom, and Colette's real mom and former stepmothers (who were all there BTW) could finally see that brat for who she is.

A monster, a lunatic, a sociopath and a criminal too.

Right now, she's waiting in a prison cell awaiting trial...and if all goes as well as my dad says, I'm one step closer to getting her out of my life forever.

Finally!

It was so bad that my mom isn't even bothering to defend her anymore. She says that she knows what that brat did is wrong and won't argue against whatever punishment the judge will have in store once the trail takes place.

I'm just glad Mom is finally starting to take off her super tinted rose-colored glasses and seeing reality, though I do feel a bit sorry for her since she felt bad about what happened. While I feel sorry for her, I don't regret what had to be done in other to catch that monster and make sure that justice will be served soon.

Anyway, after Psycolette was arrested, my party became MY party again and after an unexpected encouragement from Puck of all people (who apparently helped us behind the scenes without us knowing), my party continued, and it was awesome!

Mom even hired Dumpty Humpty to be the band, which I admit was awesome (they even gave me and my friends autographs and they even gave me and Danny tickets to their next show, which it totally awesome!) among all the other stuff I had at the party.

But the best part was that I finally got to walk inside the party with Danny on my arm, wearing the beautiful dress I wanted, and I finally got to celebrate my sweet sixteen party with all my friends and loved ones.

Especially with my Danny-Boo.

My party was a magical, amazing memory I will always remember...not because of the super delicious birthday cake that Georgia made, or the new red sports car Mom and Dad gifted me (yeah, that's right, they got me a CAR for my birthday!)...but because I was able to celebrate with my beloved Danny-Boo.

I finally got to be with him again after all this time and I couldn't be happier!

Oh, Danny...My sweet Danny...my boyfriend...my beloved...and my one true love.

I missed him so much during the time we were apart. I missed his beautiful blue eyes that can become beautiful green eyes at will. I missed his charming, boyish cute smile that I always want to see directed at me. I missed his adorable dimples whenever he smiled at me. I missed his messy black hair, just as much as I missed his snow-white hair too.

I also missed his kindness, his sweetness, his gentleness and the sound of his voice when he speaks to me with all his care and love. And most of all, I missed just holding his hand, hugging and kissing him as I whisper: "I love you to him" and he would whisper that back.

I missed it all so much!

But thankfully, the nightmare is over now, and we are once again together.

Thank goodness for that!

Anyway, after we enjoyed the party, danced, introduced him to my relatives who thankfully were NOT insane, classist jerks obsessed with status like some people I know, and then we shared a beautiful moment together away from everyone else. We reaffirmed our love together, kissed and spent the rest of the party together, never wanting to be apart.

Danny even got me a gift too.

After all the insanity that happened this week, I honestly didn't expect a gift and would have just been happy just being with him again but apparently, he saved up for months to boy me this present and had it hidden some place safe, making sure a certain stalker never discovered it since no doubt, Psycholette would have either destroyed it or stole it if she had a chance like she did with all my other nice things that she "borrowed" over the years.

Thankfully, she never did find it and it was still safe and in one piece.

Danny gave me what was probably the most beautiful turquoise and diamond necklace and matching earrings I have ever seen. My Boo told me he searched all over town until he found one that exactly matched my eyes and refused to settle for any less. Apparently, it took him weeks to find the right one when he wasn't with me and finally managed to find it about two weeks ago and used what he saved up to get it.

Hearing all of that made me feel like I was falling in love with him even more than before now and I end up kissing him again that night...for a long time to be honest until we had no choice but to return to the party.

Even so, I was just happy there...very happy.

I had everything I wanted.

Colette is gone now, and Danny and I are together again as we should be. After what was probably the most horrible situation our relationship had to face so far, we survived, and our relationship and love was stronger than ever now!

I still remember dancing with Danny like a princess at my party, and just feeling so happy that I could finally be with him again, and not have to worry about my wicked stepsister ruining everything.

With her no longer there to darken everything, everything was absolutely perfect.

Now, me and Danny are together again, and I am NEVER going to risk letting something like this ever happen again.

After a long, LONG, LONG time of pain, uncertainty, drama, and fighting hard to prove our innocence and reuniting, me and Danny can finally just be together now. And tomorrow, we have ANOTHER special occasion to celebrate the beautiful bond we created as boyfriend and girlfriend six months ago.

Yes, you heard it...six months...

Danny and I had managed to endure so much for six months and now, we are going to celebrate those six months together for our six-month anniversary or half-a-versary as I like to call it.

Oh, I am so excited!

Tomorrow, me and Danny will finally be able to celebrate it, and the best part is that we no longer have to worry about Colette ruining anything or stalking him again. We're free and I can finally just have a happy, normal, blissful relationship with my beloved, wonderful, amazing, totally awesome boyfriend!

I really can't wait!

Our half-a-versary is just going to be absolutely perfect tomorrow, I just know it! And I'm going to make sure that it's perfect for me and the love of my life!

It's all goanna be perfect! Absolutely perfect!

"And done..."Star said as she placed her pencil down.

The blonde girl took a moment, enjoying the satisfaction of writing down her feelings before she put her diary under her mattress where it would be safe.

"Glad that Psycho never found this on top of everything else she did. I really should keep her own diary some place safe. In case I need it for the upcoming trial...once Danny and I figure out how to remove his secret without making it obvious pages were ripped out..."The blonde girl thought.

She then out a tired sighed. It was obvious why she was feeling tired. Really tired and she knew why.

It was pretty late, right passed her curfew. Her party was already over, and everyone went home. She just arrived home and just absolutely had to write down what happened after being unable to do so in a while.

"Man, that entry long...and it would have been longer if I wrote every detail...but...I don't really have the energy right now..."Star said, yawning and feeling really tired.

She finally became to feel the last few days and all the energy she spent and was feeling exhausted.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

She heard a knock from her door. It was her dad.

"Star, you should go to bed. You had a really long day, and you need your rest..."Her father's voice could be heard from the other side.

Star yawned but didn't argue.

"Fine, Dad. I was just getting ready..."Star said, not having any more energy right now.

She knew that she needed her rest. Especially if she wanted to enjoy her special day with Danny tomorrow.

The blonde girl sighed as she got ready for bed. Once she was, she went to her bed and was about to turn off her nearby lamp...only to spot a nearby photo next to it.

It was a photo of her and Danny from about a month ago. Both were smiling wide at the camera as they held hands and loved so very much in love.

Star smiled as she held the picture in her hands and admired it. More specifically, admiring her Danny-boo. She felt so much love and happiness right now, and she really couldn't wait to see him again tomorrow.

"I love you, Danny~..."Star said as she kissed his image on the picture before setting it back on its usual spot.

The blonde birthday girl then turned off the lights and finally allowed herself to sleep. The stress, adrenaline and drama for the last few days were gone and now she could just relax, rest and look forward to the future now.

Especially tomorrow and what it had in store for her and her man.
