Honkai of Fate
(Author's Notes: For those who are wondering why it seems like the story is a copy-and-paste, the story is supposed to go the exact same way as the original has gone through, HOWEVER, since Shirou is involved this time around, many things may/will change completely. The deaths of characters may change, the way the story will go may change, some scenes/chapters may change, and the finale may change as well. This is the reason why I specifically wrote in the story's description "will he be able to prevent the tragedies that happened in the real story or will it only lead to a more different path?", because since Shirou is now involved in the Honkai Impact 3rd story, the timeline and events may/will change. I'm just starting from the HI3 manga series, "Second Eruption", to begin with.)
Chapter 5: The Second Eruption I
After Welt had saved Siegfried's life, the silver haired Knight ran and ran while carrying the unconscious Shirou and injured Theresa towards the Tower of Babylon.
Heaving heavy breathes after running and running so much, he finally reached the Tower of Babylon and rushed towards to where Tesla and Einstein were.
"Einstein! Tesla!" He called to them. "I need help quickly! Theresa's badly injured!"
Einstein and Tesla turned to the door from where Siegfried had entered and rushed towards his side.
Siegfried placed Shirou down on the floor after he placed a blanket and Tesla took Theresa from his arms.
"Theresa is fine, but she's gravely injured. Mophead, get her healed quickly! I'll take care of the boy." Tesla said as she rushed towards where Siegfried and Shirou are.
Einstein took Theresa's injured body and started to do surgery on her with the help of other nurses and doctors that came with them. "Help me out here, quick! Madam Theresa is gravely injured!"
"How's the boy holding up?" Tesla asked as she did a check-up on Shirou.
"Shirou's fine. Although he passed out after summoning the chains of Judah." Siegfried told the red scientist.
"Summoning the chains of Judah?! No way is he even capable of doing such a thing! Divine Keys are only accessible and are only able to be used by the users that are synced up with them! How did this kid even managed to summon the chains of Judah?! And not to mention the time and strength to master such weapons!" Tesla shouted in a complete shock, making every one hear her.
"Look, I don't understand it either, alright?! Just take care of Shirou for me! Welt is still out there and is still fighting the second Herrscher on his own and he needs help!"
"Welt is still fighting?!" Tesla asked again. "Damn it, Welt! Why do you always want to be like HIM?" She thought to herself.
"Siegfried, leave Theresa and boy with us. They'll both be safe. Just get out there and fight alongside Welt."
"Already planned to do that in the very beginning." Siegfried then stood up from the ground. "Once you managed to heal Shirou, tell him that I said thanks. If it wasn't for him, I would've been done for." With that, Siegfried ran out of the Tower of Babylon and went rushing towards to where he left Welt.
Tesla, now with an unconscious Shirou, did her best to do the necessary things needed to be done in order to fully be sure that Shirou really was fine.
"Alright…" Tesla let out a huff of breathe and fixed her glasses. "Let's do this…"
Tesla started with testing Shirou's temperature.
"36.4. His temperature is normal."
She then started with his heartbeat.
Tesla listened carefully to Shirou's heartbeat. "Normal. Nothing unusual."
She then took a syringe, took some of Shirou's blood and started testing his Honkai Energy levels. Her eyes went eye-wide shot.
"H-High Honkai Energy Level?!"
"This boy's Honkai Energy Levels are way too high for a normal kid!" Tesla thought to herself as she turned towards Einstein, who now finished doing surgery to Theresa with the other doctors and nurses.
"Hey, Mophead!" Tesla called to Einstein.
"What is it, Tesla?" Einstein asked as she lowered her surgery mask.
"There is something that you need to see!" Tesla said as she handed the results of Shirou's Honkai Energy Level.
"T-This is-?!"
"Yeah. I had the same reaction too."
"So our readings were right…" Einstein then took a quick glance at to where Shirou's unconscious body was laid down. "There really was another Herrscher inside the Tower of Babylon. But to think that it would be this kid…"
"His Herrscher powers are all lying dormant for now, that I can assure you, but we can't risk another Honkai War starting after this one is finished." Tesla said as she turned towards Shirou and walked towards him, carrying him, and placing him on a spare hospital bed.
"It's time for us again to teach another Herrscher how good humanity can be." Tesla announced. "We managed to show the good of humanity to HIM before, who says that we can't do it for another?"
"It's the best decision that we can do right now as well." Einstein agreed. "And you're right, we managed to show it to HIM before, we can show it to another."
Deep inside Shirou's soul and mind…
Shirou was again inside the world within him. Blue grass surrounds the place with flowers of red, yellow, black, and white and him lying on the golden flowers that shaped Avalon, the scabbard. He looked at the sky, again, he only saw the endless cycle of an orange dawn and blue night with each one of their "planet" of a sun and a moon. He then turned his head around…
Swords… Everywhere…
The two figures from before then appeared in front of him again once more.
"You really did something crazy back there." The one with the royal blue hair spoke.
"I mean, summoning the chains of Judah after seeing the thing for once is not something I expected you to do, kid."
"And it wasn't really the best idea either." The auburn red hair continued.
"You could have done it differently and not pass out. That was your first time tracing the powers of a Divine Key."
"Divine Key…?" Shirou asked. "I don't really understand what you mean by that. What's a Divine Key?" He asked again.
The royal blue haired figure turned to look at the auburn red hair figure standing behind him. The auburn red hair figure then let out a sigh and nodded his head.
"A Divine Key, kid, is a weapon that was created from the previous era of this world." The royal blue hair figure started.
"They're made with Herrscher Cores and they hold powers from their respective Herrscher."
"They are also made with a kind of nanotechnology that they called "Soulium"." The auburn hair figure said.
"What you did when you summoned the chains of Judah was something nearly impossible to do, because there is only one Divine Key of each respective Herrscher Core they are made of."
"I agree with this guy over here." The royal blue hair shrugged his shoulder.
"What you did is something nearly impossible to do. The only one capable of replicating those Divine Keys is the Void Archives, but even then, the ones that the Void Archives replicate aren't really that strong against the original."
"Or as powerful as the original either." The auburn hair figure added.
"So… I did something that is nearly impossible to do?" Shirou asked.
Both the auburn red hair figure and the royal blue hair figure nodded their heads in agreement.
"It's a miracle that you were only able to pass out and not suffer any other consequences, kid." The royal blue hair figure said with a grin on his face.
"To be honest, I really wasn't expecting you to do something as crazy as that! Hahaha!" The royal blue hair figure laughed, which made the auburn red hair figure sigh.
The auburn red hair figure walked a few meters towards Shirou before he threw a sword that was stuck to the ground to where Shirou was standing.
"Pick it up." The auburn hair figure said as he got into a stance.
"What? Why- WOAH!" Shirou was about to ask but it was then did the auburn red hair figure dashed and slashed at him.
Shirou was quick to react and picked up the sword on the ground and block the auburn red hair figure's strike.
"What the hell was that for?!" Shirou asked as he struggled to hold on to his block.
"Language, kid!" The royal blue hair figure shouted as he watched.
"You aren't yet as powerful as you need to be." The auburn red hair stated. "If this is the best that you can do, then you have no chance of becoming a Protector of Humanity just like how you promised Kiritsugu!" He then broke of their clash and slashed at Shirou again.
Shirou, acting on adrenaline and instinct, struck the auburn red hair figures sword with his own. "How do you know my old man's name?! What do you even know about the promise I made with Kiritsugu in the first place?!"
Out of anger at what the figure's mouth said, Shirou kept on striking with his own sword in his hands.
"If this is the level of swordsmanship that only you can do, then you won't be able to defeat the enemies coming for you in the future!" The figure slashed Shirou's sword away from his hand and proceeded to do a downwards slash.
Shirou barely managed to dodge the strike and rolled over the patch of blue grass and grabbed another sword.
He was about to strike at the auburn red hair figure when his heart started to pound and he felt the pain.
"AARGH! AARGH! Why?! Not again!" Shirou's breathing became heavy as he felt the same burning sensation he had whenever he was injected with many shots of Honkai Energy.
"That's your Honkai Energy rising." The auburn red hair figure explained.
"It's because of your emotions running wild that your Honkai Energy is rising. Your emotions act as a pedal to activate it. Being injected with so much Honkai Energy and getting injected with it straight into your organs are making your body become more and more like that of a Honkai Beast."
"If you aren't careful, you could go berserk with such power and wreak havoc towards the ones you care about the most and you will kill many innocents with it. As it stands, you are unable to control the powers that you have right now."
"I… I can fight it… I will become a Protector of Humanity…! Argh!" Shirou struggled to get up from the pain he is feeling in his chest.
The auburn red hair figure sighed and sheathed his katana, making Shirou confused.
"Do not misunderstand, Shirou. We are here to help you. To make you strong so that you are able to handle the powers that are deep dormant inside of you." The auburn red hair said as he walked towards Shirou and with flow of mana in his hands, he cured Shirou's pain.
"The pain… it's gone…?" Shirou was confused, but he didn't feel any more violence coming from the figure that was in front of him and he stood up on his feet again.
"That was quite a brutal way to test him, brother." The royal blue hair figure said as he floated towards the both of them.
"It was a necessary procedure, brother. I didn't mean any harm." The auburn red hair figure replied.
"Wait! Wait! Wait!" Shirou shouted as he placed his body and arms in between the two figures.
"I've been here all confused as to what is happening right now! What the hell is this place anyways?! And who the hell are you two in the first place?! And why am I even here?! It feels like that I should know this place and that I belong to this place, like there is some connection between me and here, but I don't even know about it! I have so many questions right now that needs to be answered!"
The two figures turned to Shirou, then towards each other, then to Shirou again, then to themselves again. The royal blue hair figure let out a grin on his face.
"He's got your personality, brother." The royal blue hair figure said.
"Yeah, well he's got your stubborn attitude." The auburn red hair figure replied.
"Yeah! Well, at least he's got my will and desire to protect humanity!" The royal blue hair figure shouted.
"Yeah! Well he's got my fire in his eyes along with the strength to protect humanity!" The auburn red hair figure argued.
"I thought you said that he isn't strong enough yet? Hm~?" The royal blue hair figure teased.
"Why you…!" The auburn red hair was ultimately pissed and tried to calm himself down.
"Can you two stop arguing and just tell me the answers that I need!?" Shirou shouted, making the two figures to stop what they were doing and looked at Shirou again.
The royal blue hair figure sighed and shook his head. "The kid's right. Let's answer his questions first."
"Thank you…" Shirou sighed as he sat down on the grass ground.
"Okay, so first of; where are we anyways?"
"Inside your soul." The auburn red hair answered.
"My soul…? I don't get it, I'm still confused." Shirou raised his eyebrow.
"Remember what Kiritsugu taught you, kid. Also, my brother is right; this is your soul." The royal blue hair figure said.
"The old man's teachings… My soul…" Shirou was then lost in his thought at that point.
"This is an important lesson, Shirou. So listen carefully." Kiritsugu's voice said in his mind.
"What I'm going to teach you is about Reality Marbles. Now, Reality Marbles are ones that centers around the materialization and projection of one's inner world into reality, and it follows the Thaumaturgical Theory World Egg."
"Created worlds are completely cut off from reality, it projects their internal landscape and sealing off the regular world. In a sense, it is the manifestation of a person's inner soul onto the world itself."
Shirou's eyes went wide at the realization that he just discovered. "N-No… It can't be… can it…?"
"Oh? It seems like the kid finally managed to figure it out." The royal blue hair figure said.
"It can't be right?! I couldn't possibly… but I didn't even…" Shirou was utterly shocked that he couldn't even believe it himself that he started to stutter.
"What you are thinking is correct, Shirou." The auburn red hair figure then spread his arms. "Welcome to your inner world, your own Reality Marble."
Shirou was now even more shocked at the discovery that he just found.
"A Reality Marble… Me…? Seriously…? How…?" He thought in his mind. "Hold on a second!"
"If this is my Reality Marble, how come you two are here inside?!" Shirou asked as he pointed to the two figures.
The two figure were then became hesitant and they both stared at each other's eyes.
"Should we tell him, brother?" The royal blue hair figure said.
"It's the only way for him to understand as to why we are here in this place in the first place. We have no other choice." The auburn red hair said.
Both figures then looked towards Shirou again and the royal blue hair figure breathed in and breathed out.
"Shirou, we're Herrschers." The royal blue hair figure announced.
"More specifically, the Herrschers that wields the powers of the two dormant Herrscher cores deep inside your heart." The auburn red hair added.
"Herrschers? And Herrscher Cores?" Shirou was becoming confused again.
"We are the envoys or apostles of the Honkai itself who inhabit human vessels capable of adapting to it and we manifest out of our host's negative emotions." The auburn red figure hair explained.
"Our powers are via to our Herrscher Cores, which is essential to our existence. Without the Herrscher Core being neutralized, we can't die. We are instead to take over another person as a vessel, providing that vessel has the core implanted." The royal blue hair figure finished.
Shirou was processing the information that he received and soon then figured it out. "Wait! Doesn't that mean that you two are the enemies of humanity?! The one that I promised to protect!"
Shirou was then on high alert and got into a fighting stance once he took a few steps back from the two figures.
"Relax, kid." The royal blue hair figure said as he placed his hands on his waists. "There are Herrschers out there as well who are willing to fight for the will of humanity and they are also the Herrschers who protect humanity." The royal blue hair figure explained.
"Then, you are not my enemies?" Shirou asked as he let his guard down.
"No, Shirou. We are not your enemies." The auburn red hair figure said and Shirou let out a sigh of relief. "There are countless Herrschers out there that you don't even know about. Some are good, but most, from what we've seen, are evil."
"Then your names." Shirou said. "What are your names? If you two are truly helping me, then I need to at least know your names"
Both figures turned to each other and nodded their heads.
The royal blue hair figure spoke first. "I am the Herrscher of Tranquility, who has the Core of Tranquility. I am known as Albion."
The auburn red hair figure spoke next. "I am the Herrscher of Perseverance, who has the Core of Perseverance. I am known as Ddraig."
"Ddraig and Albion… Those names are from the Arthurian Legends!" Shirou shouted. "Then that means-!"
"Yes, Shirou. We are named after the Red Dragon and White Dragon from the legends of King Arthur." Ddraig confirmed.
"And we are also Herrschers from the past era of this world. Although, we were only dormant Herrschers at that time." Albion said.
"You, Shirou, have already met two Herrschers and came out alive." Ddraig said.
"Two Herrschers…? But, I don't remember meeting any of them." Shirou said in confusion.
"Think about it again, kid. One is your friend, and the other a man who you threw a sword at." Albion said.
"My friend and a man who I threw a sword at… No… it can't be…"
Ddraig nodded his head. "That is correct, Shirou. One of Herrschers that you've met is your friend, Sirin. Who is now the Herrscher of the Void."
"And the other is known as Welt, the one who Siegfried came along with and the one who wears glasses." Albion finished Ddraig's sentence.
"But Sirin is a good person! There's no way that she'll hurt anyone!" Wait-! "That's right! SIrin! I need to get out of here and go back to her!"
Ddraig held Shirou's arm. "Shirou, calm down! You don't even known how to get out of here, not to mention that you're still recovering from summoning the chains of Judah!"
"Let go of me, Ddraig! Sirin is in danger! I'm not leaving her behind and leaving her alone anymore! She already lost Bella, Agata, Avrora, and Galina! I'm not letting her be alone anymore and I won't leave her side even if she is a Herrscher now!" Shirou protested.
"Shirou, wait-" Ddraig was about to speak again when he felt pain from his palm. "Argh! Huh…?"
Ddraig then took a look at his palm that is bleeding with Honkai Blood then to Shirou's arm who he held. His eyes went wide when Shirou's arm were piercing with blades pointing out.
Albion whistled. "Hey, Shirou! Get back here first!"
Shirou stopped in his tracks and turned to Albion.
"Listen Shirou, right now you don't have the power to face two fully fledge Herrschers. Don't rush into a battlefield you don't have any chances of winning. You're just asking for an early funeral if you do, kid."
Shirou gripped his hands. "Then what am I supposed to do? Just stand here while my friend is fighting for her life and is suffering?" Shirou's anger can be seen by both Herrschers as Honkai veins started to show on Shirou's skin.
"You don't have the power right now, but that doesn't mean that we are stopping you to go and save your friend, Shirou." Ddraig said as his palm started to heal. "But since you're still healing in the outside world, we can train you here for a bit of time until you are fully recovered."
Shirou's anger calmed down for a bit along with the grip of his hands and approached the two Herrschers in front of him with a blazing determined gaze.
"Then train me as much as you wish! I will protect Sirin along with the rest of Humanity and what is truly human in my eyes! I need to gain and unlock my powers if I were to do so! So please, train me!"
And with that, Shirou started to train with the two Herrschers inside of his soul.
Back in the snowy Tundra…
"I gotta hurry!" Siegfried thought to himself. "Come on! Faster! Faster!"
Siegfried continued to run and run in the snowy tundra and forest that he ran earlier while he was carrying an unconscious Shirou and injured Theresa. He rushed and rushed and rushed…
Bella or Benares, was panting heavily.
"Why are you panting, Bella?" Sirin asked her dragon. "You're still hungry right? Be patient. There will be more food at the Tower of Babylon, along with a friend that you haven't met in a while. Shirou will definitely miss you and enjoy your new sight- Wait! Something's wrong!"
*RARG!*
Benares let out a painful and loud shriek and then a part of her body split.
"Sorry, girl. I can't let you leave this place." Welt then came out of the part where Benares was torn apart, it turns out that Welt was the one that tore open a wound on Bella from inside her.
"Alright." Welt said as he lifted his hair bangs. "Let's get round two started!"
Welt then floated away from Benares, but she swung her huge claws at him.
"Stay down, wyrm." Welt said in a cold tone as he materialized a machine from nowhere and pinned down Benares to the ground.
Sirin was now on high alert and was ready to take action, but…
Reason Manifest "Tremble before the might of Welt! The First Herrscher and Hero of Humanity!" Multiple machines and robots from Anti-Entropy were being summoned left and right behind Welt as he used his Herrscher powers. "The human race will stop you here, Void Queen!"
"An ambush?!" Sirin summoned her barriers again as rockets and missiles were fired at her by Welt. "How dare you use human weapons against me!"
Once the smoke from the rocket disappeared, Sirin was unharmed… "Pathetic. The First Herrscher's powers are a disgrace to the Honkai!" …but her barrier cracked.
"Impossible! How dare this human garbage break the Aegis of God?! I'll show you what True Herrscher powers are, traitor!" Sirin raised her fist and clenched. "Bow before the might of GOD!" And multiple white hands manifested from nowhere and grabbed on Welt's creations.
But Welt didn't falter, he instead used his powers again to fight of Sirin. Power of Reason
"you're cheating! You can't keep making those mechs from thin air!" Sirin said
"This isn't cheating. This is the true might of the First Herrscher…" Tanks began to appear, "Once I learn the structure of human creation…" then Anti-Entropy mechs appeared, "…I can make a copy of it with Honkai Energy." Then lastly, jets, "You're facing ingenuity of the human race."
Sirin turned around and her eyes went wide with shock as an entire battleship has appeared behind her.
"You have declared war on the human world!" Welt shouted.
Sirin tried her best to fly away. "DAMMIT! He's now creating entire armies from nothing!" She gritted her teeth. "I must stop him before he overwhelms me with superior numbers!"
"Human civilization shall bear the entirety of its might against you!" Welt shouted as more battleships appeared and Sirin created her barrier.
"I am Welt of Humanity! And I stand against you, Dark Queen, as a warrior and guardian of the human race!" The rockets and missiles from his tanks and mechs aimed at Sirin. "Law and Reason, not the Chaos of the Void, shall prevail today!"
"Hear me, might host of Humanity!"
"Unleash a mighty torrent of fire and iron on this false diety!"
*KDOOM!* *KDOOM!* *KDOOM!* *KDOOM!*
Many and all of Welt's creations fired at Sirin in an endless torrent of iron and fire as he did say so. Dark clouds along with a burning scent were all that was seen and smelt in the air as he did so.
In one of the edge of the Tower of Babylon, Einstein is standing and eyeing on the destruction that Welt has caused.
"Contact Dr. Tesla. Have her prep the Silver Bullet! It has begun..." Einstein ordered.
Somewhere far away on a snowy hills…
"Roger that Mophead… *Hik* *Hik* I'm not crying! Thank you, bye!" Tesla wiped the tears in her eyes as she ended the call.
"Joachim, you stupid jerk! Why do you want to be like him so much? Can't you stop acting as a lonely hero for once?"
Tesla finally calmed down a little. "Alright, Void Queen. Nikola Tesla is getting down to business. It's time to show you the TRUE might of the human race!"
In the Tower of Babylon…
Shirou woke up from being unconscious and from being inside his Reality Marble for the first time. He opened his eyes slowly and once he did, he saw Theresa sitting beside her.
"Thank goodness that you're awake now." Theresa said as she helped Shirou get up. "I was so worried about you."
"Big sis…?" Shirou asked as his eyes were still half-open.
Theresa blushed a bit on her cheeks at being called "Big sis". "Ehehe… Sorry to disappoint little one, but I'm not your big sister."
Shirou finally opened his eyes completely and looked around the room. "Are we… back at the Tower of Babylon…?" He asked.
Theresa hugged him gently from behind. "I know that you have terrible memories on this place, little boy. But please, don't worry anymore..." She comforted Shirou as she patted his head. "Once everything is over, we'll leave."
"It's Shirou." He answered as he turned his head to Theresa. "Please don't call me "little boy", big sis."
Theresa smiled gently and patted his head again. "Then call me "Theresa", although I don't mind it if you continue to call me "big sis", Shirou."
"Sure…" Shirou then stepped out of the hug. "Big sis it is then."
Theresa smiled again and Shirou started to look around the place, turning his head left and right, his eyes scanning the room. Theresa couldn't help but be curious and asked.
"What are you looking for, Shirou?"
"Where is Sirin?" Shirou asked in a worried tone. "Sirin, where is she?! Big sis, tell me! Where is Sirin?! Why isn't she here yet?!"
"She's… still out there, Shirou… fighting…" Theresa answered with her head down.
Shirou's eyes went wide and turned around to the door.
"Where are you going, Shirou?!" Theresa asked in a panicked tone.
"I'm going back to Sirin! I can't let her be fight on her own and leave her there!" Shirou said as he ran out of the door.
"Shirou, wait! Sirin is no longer the Sirin you know! She's a Herrscher!" Theresa tried to explain things to Shirou, but he already ran off. "SHIROU!" Theresa then gave chase to Shirou.
Shirou got out of the Tower of Babylon and heard a loud explosion. He turned and saw the dark clouds and falling ash to his left and he knew that Sirin would be there.
"Sirin…! It's alright! I'm coming!" Shirou thought to himself as he reinforced his legs and his running sped up drastically, surprising Theresa who was behind her.
"S-So fast! Just how fast is this boy?" Theresa then continued to keep on chasing Shirou towards where the fighting is happening.
In the battle against the two Herrschers…
"NYET! I refuse to run away!"
Sirin is being bombarded with multiple rockets that Welt kept on firing from his creations, and right now, Sirin is having a hard time trying to fight back with her barrier on.
"Victory shall be MINE!" She shouted as she opened multiple portals in front of her barrier and the shots fired from Welt's creations were redirected towards him and his own creations, exploding and burning from his own ammo.
Void Redirection
"So this Void Queen knows how to bend and shift spatial dimensions and redirect my attacks against my forces…" Welt gripped his right hand into a fist and activated his powers again. "A most tarrying skill when exercised by the right mind. But this fight is far from over!"
Cogitative Re-Assembly
"The human race has fought for every moment of its survival! Our flesh maybe weak, but we refuse to kneel!" Welt's mouth began to bleed. "Do your worst, Void Queen! Our battle has only just begun!"
Somewhere in a snowy mountain…
Trajectory set. Silver Bullet v03124 is armed and ready to go. Initiate firing sequence…
5… Tesla's eyes were still a bit teary.
4… Einstein closed her eyes.
3… They only have one shot.
2… It's now or never.
1… "We have ignition. Missile away."
Inside the snowy forest…
"Come on, Siegfried! Hurry!" Siegfried thought to himself as he kept on rushing to go to where Welt is.
A figure with auburn hair then came running pass him, and he knew who it was. "What the-?! Shirou?!"
"Siegfried, stop him!" A voice came from behind him and he saw Theresa.
"Theresa?! What are you doing here?! Shouldn't you be resting?!"
"No time to explain! Stop Shirou! He's going to die if he gets near that battle!" Theresa said in a panic as she kept on chasing Shirou.
"You don't have to tell me twice! I knew it was him when he came rushing by! Let's go!" Siegfried then chased after Shirou as well with Theresa by his side.
Back in the battlefield…
"You can't keep using your powers like that!" Sirin shouted as she began to pant heavily
Dimension Warp
Sirin then opened more portals and redirected Welt's attacks on him. "I'll destroy every army you create! Your efforts are futile! Just die already!" Portals appeared again and Sirin shot out the attacks that Welt created from her portals.
"I'll kill you with your own weapons! I'll make you choke on your own filth!" When Sirin redirected and shot Welt's attacks back to him, a huge explosion happened and hit Welt, but he didn't give up that easily.
"Urk… *Cough* Is that all you've got?" Welt asked as he struggled a bit. "If you're a True Herrscher, I must say that I'm not impressed." He mocked. "The next army that I create will definitely give you world of hurt."
Welt was about to summon his next army of mecha, but Sirin got to him first and summoned purple hands and pinned Welt, which made him stop moving.
"Game over, Pseudo-Herrscher." Sirin said. "It took a while, but it was fun while it lasted."
Welt smiled at Sirin, which made her confused. "Why is he smiling? Is this a trap?" She thought as Welt turned his head to the sky and she did as well, it was then that she panicked.
Silver Bullet was coming in hot after it re-entered the Earth's atmosphere, it was created by Dr. Einstein by using weaponized fissile material and it was also known as a nuclear bomb.
"What should I do?" Sirin said to herself. Her sixth sense was telling her that this attack might kill her. It was moving very fast, and there was no time to warp to safety. She lacked power to send it to a pocket dimension and she knew this.
The missile was already nearing her and out of desperation to not get killed, she used all her remaining powers and sent the missile below her…
It was a mistake… The missile exploded in an extremely huge explosion and it hit her.
"Hngh…" Sirin is struggling to get up after using all of her powers and from being hit by the explosion.
Welt stood in front of her and behind him was a giant robot hand that he created to keep him safe from the explosion.
"I must admit… I'm really impressed that you managed to survive that. But I'm sorry, girl. I can't let you live." Welt then took out his Divine Key and activated it.
"I have enough energy to deal one final blow. Don't worry, this won't hurt."
9th Divine Key, Star of Eden. Zeroth Power.
A huge black hole was then summoned behind Sirin as it started to suck her in.
Sirin floated in the air and slowly got consumed by the black hole. "It's… sucking me in!" She struggled to force herself out from being consumed by the black hole that was pulling her.
"I'm sorry that it had to end like this."
Quasi Black Hole
"Goodbye, Sirin, second of our kind."
Welt watched as Sirin kept on being consumed by his black hole. "She's almost there… I just need to sustain the Quasi Black Hole for a little longer…"
"SIRIN!" A young boy's voice was heard in a tone of panic.
It was then right there that Welt felt something strong and fast from his chest, it was as if his chest had been caved inside from the blow and the chains of Judah appeared and chained him.
"I can't believe you actually fought this battle with a fake core!" A man in white suit and a mask said as he held on the fake 9th Divine Key and crushed it.
"What is this?" He thought. "Why do I suddenly feel like I'm losing power?" *Cough!* He spat blood as he coughed. "And these chains… These are the chains of Judah…"
"To think that a young test subject such as him is able to replicate the chains of Judah…" The man turned to the sky where Sirin was falling. "Young man, you are really interesting. Now you owe me a favor because of this."
Welt turned to Sirin who was now starting to fall unconscious as the Quasi Black Hole has disappeared.
"Sirin!" Welt heard the young boy's voice call for the Second Herrscher again and when Welt looked up, he saw Shirou did a huge jump and tried to reach for Sirin, but Benares got to Sirin before Shirou could do so.
"No! Don't take Sirin away!" Shirou shouted as he summoned swords from his worn out body and shot the swords towards Benares who swatted the swords away by using her tail. "NOO! Sirin! Give Sirin back!" He yelled loudly.
"It's taking her away! We must stop her here…" Welt said as he created missiles again and aimed for Benares.
"Sorry. I'm afraid I can't let you do that. Her complete awakening is essential to my little plan. And the young boy…" The man in white suit stomped on Welt's hand and raised his right arm with a knife in his hand. "Will make a fine edition to this plan of mine."
"You my good sir, don't look very well at all. Allow me to deliver you the Coup de Grace and do not worry, I'll try to make it as painless as possible."
*BANG!*
A bullet came and broke the man in a white suit's knife.
"… It seems I have to entertain a new guest."
"And it seems I came back just in time to save you, Mr. Welt. As it looks, Shirou tried to stop you from doing any more harm towards the Second Herrscher and tried to catch her, but that dragon of hers got first. Good thing he didn't passed out like the first time he summoned the chains of Judah." Siegfried said as his right arm is raised from shooting a bullet from his Judgement of Shamash. "And as for you, clown, it seems you were the one that completely stopped Welt's powers. Who the hell are you?"
"The young lady had to leave early, my good sir. And I assure you, I'm not your enemy." The man then pointed to Shirou. "The young boy over there however, seems to be in need of calming down, don't you think?" He pointed at Shirou and Siegfried turned to Shirou as well.
"Calm down, Shirou! It's alright! We'll get Sirin back, please don't cry anymore." Theresa said as she hugged a now crying Shirou.
"Sirin… Sirin… *Sob* I can't believe I didn't managed to save her…" Shirou's eyes were slowly becoming red as he kept on crying.
"Shh… There, there…" Theresa comforted Shirou and gently patted his head. "It's alright, Shirou. We'll get her back… We'll get her back…"
"Big sis…" Shirou hugged Theresa tightly as he continued to cry.
Siegfried then turned to the man in a white suit again after he turned his head from where Shirou and Theresa were. "It seems like he has already calmed down." He then kept the man at gun point. "Enemy or not, I'll ask you to release that man only once. And I can assure you that I'm very good with my aim."
A gold feather was beside him and then in a blink of an eye, the man was now standing behind him. "Apologies. I can't have you running around with something dangerous like this gun. You might hurt other people."
"What the hell?! The clown just took my gun!" Siegfried turned to face the man-
*BANG!*
"Do be quiet, sir." –When the man shot him in his abdomen.
"SIEGFRIED!" Theresa cried to Siegfried when she heard the gun shot and saw him bleeding.
"As a clown, I have a few tricks to play around with. I will appreciate it you'll just sit out of this and get out of the way. And if you agree with this arrangement, I will make sure that wound gets healed." The man stated. "For your information, you'll die without treatment."
Chains of Judah then came rushing in towards the man, he noticed this and took a leap backwards. When Siegfried looked up, he saw Theresa in front of him while holding the Oath of Judah as a shield and a still Shirou.
"Heh…" Siegfried smirked. "You came… just in time… Theresa…" He struggled to stand up, but he did managed to and he held onto the Oath of Judah to support him.
"You're asking me to do nothing while you kill that man?" Siegfried questioned the man while he put pressure on his gunshot wound. "A shot from Shamash does hurt like hell… I'm a friggin Kaslana! And we Kaslanas never leave a friend in danger!"
"Stop this foolish nonsense, Siegfried!" Welt shouted, making Siegfried turn to him along with Theresa while the man wore his white fedora.
"There is no honor in dying here!" Welt started as he lifted his head. "I'm an old man with a dying body… I won't be able to fight the Honkai any longer… You must live on to keep fighting this war… You have friends, family, and a world to save."
"This old man begs you to listen! Leave me be to my death! You must protect this world! The Kaslana Oath commands you to shield the people, not your friends!"
"Oh just shut it, Mr. Welt!" Theresa shouted as she got closer to Welt. "If you think that we are going to let you die here, then you're wrong! I know I shouldn't be doing this since this is usually what Siegfried's stubbornness would do, but once Siegfried has already got something in his mind, he won't stop until he manages to get it."
"That's how stubborn he is, yet that stubbornness is what makes him great but also idiotic." Theresa placed the Judah in front of her and Welt while still having Shirou on her back. "So just stay down there and focus on getting healed first, because we won't let you die here."
"Heh. Theresa's right, you know? We're not letting you die here." Siegfried said as he struggled to approach the man. "And I know what you're trying to say… You're saying that I can't beat those clown powers of yours."
"It is a fact that this clown is way out of your league." The man stated.
Siegfried and man stared at each other. "Well then, Mr. Kaslana, it's time to turn around and leave."
Siegfried then punched the man so hard that his mask broke, this got Welt surprised.
"Why you little piece of…" The man pointed his stolen Shamash at Siegfried.
"Siegfried! Are you mad? Get the hell out of here with Theresa and the young boy!" Welt shouted.
"This isn't like last time, Mr. Welt. I don't like it when people force me to do the wrong thing…" Siegfried then grabbed his other Shamash on his right buckle and pointed it at the man. "To be honest, I never really liked the idea of sacrifice. I never believed that anyone had to give their lives so that the rest of us could live happily ever after."
Siegfried closed his eyes. "I hate it if people had to die for my sake. That would really leave a bad taste in my mouth." An image of Cecilia popped into his head. "And my wife finds out that I allowed this to happen…" He opened his eyes again and stared coldly. "She'll make me regret for the rest of my cowardly existence."
"What?!" Welt asked in confusion.
"Damn this loose cannon!" The man thought with gritted teeth. "I can't kill Siegfried here… He's crucial to my plans… Very well then…" The man then grabbed his fedora on the ground. "I AM impressed with your display of courage, good sir. I'll release the First Herrscher for your sake. May our paths cross again." The man bowed and then *POOF* he was gone.
"The clown… He's gone…" Siegfried said as he lowered his Shamash. "I really need to figure out how he pulled off all those tricks…" He then grabbed his other Shamash that the man left on the ground.
Theresa let out a sigh of relief. "Well, we managed to get the man to leave, but he didn't leave us with answers." Siegfried came towards Theresa and helped Welt up. "For now, let's get back to the Tower of Babylon. We've dealt with a lot of mysteries and battles for today, and Shirou here needs to get a proper rest again. He didn't passed out when he summoned the chains of Judah like the first time, but he definitely used a lot of energy."
"I agree with you, Theresa." Siegfried said as he started walking back to the Tower of Babylon. "Let's go…"
Although with Siegfried and Welt grievously wounded and Shirou unconscious while being carried by Theresa, they managed to get back inside the Tower of Babylon. Emergency medical care performed by Dr. Einstein saved both men and Tesla took care of Shirou again with Theresa by her side.
Siegfried allowed AE forces to rest within the tower as well. He tried to look for information about the man that they just fought, but there was nothing that can be found.
Schicksal detected the Honkai Dragon (Codename: Benares.) escaping the outer atmosphere. Though powerful, the Secretive Global Organization lacked the means to attack in that area.
In outer space…
"Dear child…" A voice spoke as Sirin opened her eyes. "Do you yearn for true power?" The voice asked. "Come to me then." The voice commanded.
"Hngh… Where am I?" Sirin sat up straight and her eyes went wide at the sight that she saw.
Stars…
For the first time in her life inside the Tower of Babylon, she saw the stars along with the Earth below her as Benares kept on flying through space with her on the dragon's back.
